Chapter 485
The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus)
Magnus, that petty, conniving snake, was using his status as Natalia's husband to get his grubby hands on her freshly-drawn design drafts. The bastard shamelessly claimed them as his own without giving Hector as much as a dime!
Such a man was the epitome of shamelessness, the elite among the scum!
Had Hector not poured his heart out to Natalia about this blood-boiling injustice, she would have remained in the dark, thinking Magnus had generously shared the drafts with him.
By all that is holy! If it weren't for Natalia's sake, Hector would have already given that lowlife a black eye and a swollen face.
Just looking at Magnus' smug face on camera made Hector's blood boil even more, itching to give him a piece of his mind.
Bianca sidled up to him and began gently massaging his back. "Calm down, will you? Didn't Natalia give you some exclusive drafts? Plus, I remember you saying they sold like hotcakes!"
Hector clutched at his heart in agony. "But if Magnus hadn't stuck his oar in, all of Natalia's designs would've been branded with NH International and made a killing once they hit the market!"
Bianca pursed her lips in disagreement. "But Nat's married to Mr. Andersen, after all. You know what they say, 'Keep it in the family.' Sheâs bound to let her own husband fill his coffers first."
That comment twisted Hectorâs mouth in frustration. "You... youâre actually defending that jerk? Whose side are you on?"
Bianca, still massaging Hector's shoulders, played the peacemaker. "Come on, honey, shouldn't you be happy for Nat's success? I mean, she's amazing. She's got a golden touchâugh!" Bianca's praise was cut short by a sudden gag. Her face turned ashen.
Hector, who had been stewing in his own anger, immediately rose from the couch, concerned. "What's wrong? Are you okay?"
Bianca sat down, pale and listless, waving her hand weakly. "I don't know...ugh...I just..."
Her sudden nausea left her speechless, and she slumped on the couch, looking like a ghost of her former self. Panicked, Hector touched Bianca's forehead. "You're not feverish. Did you eat something bad? I think we should take you to the hospital."
Bianca grabbed Hector's arm with a pitiful look. "I'm fine, let's not go to the hospital, okay?"
"No way, if you're sick, you need a doctor." Hector insisted, picked her up, and headed out. "Look at you; you've lost so much weight. You must have not been eating well!"
Bianca was nestled in Hector's arms. After gathering some strength, she hesitantly said, "Okay, hospital it is, but can I not get any shots?"
Hector couldn't help but laugh at her fear. "No can do, love. We'll do what the doctor says. Don't worry, I'm with you." He gently placed her in the car.
Hector sped towards the hospital in Hawaii, Bianca's discomfort evident despite the rush.
The hospital was bustling even at dusk. Holding the queasy Bianca, Hector quickly navigated through the lobby.
A nurse swiftly registered them for a specialist, and Hector anxiously awaited the results of Bianca's examination.
Soon enough, the doctor emerged. Hector crowded the doctor anxiously, "What's wrong with my wife?"
The doctor grinned at Hector. "Congratulations, sir. Your wife is pregnant."
"What?!" Both Hector and Bianca, fresh out of the examination room, were stunned.
Hector pressed the doctor, "Are you sure? Is she really pregnant?â
âYes, am I really pregnant?â Bianca echoed in shock.
The doctor, slightly irked, reassured them, âI understand the excitement of new parents, but please, donât doubt my expertise. Weâre professionals here.â
Finally convinced, Hector gushed, âDoctor, what should we do? Any advice?â
The doctor, probably used to such reactions, calmly said, âYour wife is about two months along. She should avoid strenuous activity and intimacy for now. For anything else, you can attend our prenatal classes. Weâll teach you how to prepare for the arrival of your new baby."
With that, the doctor left the bewildered couple behind.
Once the doctor was gone, Hector swept Bianca into his arms, spinning with joy. "This is amazing, babe, I'm going to be a dad!"
Bianca, feeling queasy again, clung to Hector's neck. "Can you... put me down first?"
Realizing his excitement mightâve been too much, Hector stopped spinning and walked her out of the hospital, babbling happily, "You're incredible, babe! I can't believe I'm going to be a dad. I'm just so, so happy!"
For years, he had lost faith in life after losing Nataliaâs love and narrowly escaping death. Never had he imagined that one day he would have his own child!

She wrapped her arms around Hector's neck, and her hand gently rested on her flat belly, a thrill coursing through her. Within her was the beginning of life with the man she cherished, and she felt so elated she could almost faint from bliss!
Hector, meanwhile, was completely absorbed in the wonder of Biancaâs pregnancy, his earlier troubles with Magnus completely forgotten. His face was aglow with a radiant smile.
He carefully helped Bianca into the car, then tenderly caressed her stomach, whispering with deep affection, âBee, I can hardly believe itâweâre really going to have a baby. Youâve been through so much. Once our little one arrives, I promise you a wedding celebration thatâll be the talk of the town.â
Moved by Hectorâs heartfelt words, Biancaâs eyelashes fluttered, and her heart leaped with the joy of the new life they were nurturing together.
