===================================

After asking his question, Hardik fell silent and started looking at Rishabh quietly. Everyone else also waited for Rishabh to say something.

Rishabh slowly nodded his head and then pointed towards Anokhi, saying, "Yes, I did it, but at her request. I had no interest in doing it myself."

Hearing this, everyone turned to look at Anokhi. Hardik did too. Then Anokhi nodded and said, "Yes, Hardik Bhaiya, I was the one who asked Rishabh Ji to do this."

Hardik asked, "Why? After everything Aaliya did to you, you still did this for her?"

Hearing this, Anokhi quickly replied, "This wasn't for Aaliya. I did this for myself."

Her words confused everyone. Then Anokhi pointed at Ruhi and made a face, saying, "This Ruhi was saying that she won't come to college anymore because she joined only for me. But now that there's no threat from Anant Sethi, and I won't be in danger in college, she thinks there's no point in staying. And in college, apart from Ruhi, I don't have any other friends. So, wouldn't I be left alone? That's why I did this for myself—so that at the very least, I could have Aaliya's company inside the college. Otherwise, I'd get bored, and if I get bored, how will I focus on my studies? So, this was only and only for me, for my own sake."

Hearing her words, Hardik said, "And you think I will believe this reason of yours?"

Anokhi slowly shook her head. Hardik extended his hand toward her and said, "Come here."

Anokhi placed her hand in his and moved closer to him.

Hardik placed his other hand on her head and said, "Why did you do this? You know very well what could have happened to you at that moment. To you, to Ruhi. Even after that..."

"Hardik Bhaiya, Daai Maa says that a person who realizes their mistake and regrets it deserves a second chance. I saw Aaliya that day—when she saw you, she changed in that very moment. When she was apologizing to you, she was genuinely sorry. And you know how much she has changed after going to jail. All of us, somewhere or the other, have given our loved ones a second chance, right, Hardik Bhaiya? Shivika Didi gave you one, Ruhi gave Rohit Bhaiya one, Shweta Didi gave Abhinav Ji one, and I gave Rishabh Ji one. So, Aaliya also deserves a second chance. But yes, if even after this chance, she goes back to being the old Aaliya, I will be the first one to punish her. I promise, I won’t spare her."

Hearing her words, everyone smiled. Hardik hugged her and said, "Thank you. Thank you so much for giving my Aaliya a second chance."

Just then, Anokhi moved away from him and said, "We can do these thank-you and sorry talks later. Right now, all of you need to go; otherwise, you’ll miss your flights and be stuck here. Come on, hurry up!"

Saying this, Anokhi held Hardik’s hand and started leading him outside while the others followed, smiling.

A short while later, everyone left for their respective honeymoons and romantic journeys.

Swati’s House

Swati was hurriedly getting ready when the doorbell rang. While putting on her watch, she looked toward the door and muttered to herself, "Oh man, who’s here at this hour? I’m already late for work, and now someone’s at the door."

Talking to herself, Swati reached the door. She opened it and saw that no one was there. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Just then, someone tugged at her kurti from below. Swati bent down to look, and as soon as she saw who it was, a big smile spread across her lips. She immediately crouched down and tightly hugged the little boy standing in front of her.

"Shwet! You’re here… What are you doing here?"

"Oh ho, Maasi Maa, I came here. I mean, I came to you. I came to meet you," Shwet said while hugging her.

Swati kissed both his cheeks and said, "I missed you so much."

Shwet also kissed both her cheeks and said, "I missed you a lot too, Maasi Maa."

Just then, Swati looked around behind him and asked, "But why are you alone? Where are Abhinav and Shweta?"

At that moment, Bharati Ji arrived and said, "Abhinav and Shweta are not with Shwet, Swati. I have come."

"Oh, Aunty! You’ve come! Please, come inside," Swati said, smiling, and stepped aside to let Bharati in.

After they came inside, Swati closed the door and brought a glass of water for Bharati.

Sitting beside Shwet, Swati asked, "Aunty, you suddenly brought Shwet here, and Abhinav and Shweta didn’t come? Did something happen? Is everything okay? Is Shweta fine? She’s not unwell, is she?"

"Oh dear, Swati, calm down. How will I answer if you ask so many questions at once?"

"Sorry, it's just that you both arrived so suddenly..."

Bharati placed the glass of water on the table and said, "I have brought Shwet here to stay with you for a few days."

Then Bharati told Swati that Abhinav and Shweta had gone on their honeymoon. Hearing this, Swati looked surprised and said, "They went on their honeymoon? But Shweta didn’t even tell me anything about this!"

"Oh Maasi Maa, I told Mamma not to. I wanted to surprise you, that’s why she didn’t tell you," Shwet said.

Swati smiled but then looked at Bharati and asked, "But why did you bring Shwet here while they were away? I don’t understand, Aunty. I mean, you could have taken care of him too, right?"

"Oh, who said I couldn’t take care of Shwet? But this is an opportunity for you both. You miss him a lot, and he misses you even more. You won’t believe it, but not a single day or moment passes when he doesn’t think about you. Truly, the bond you two share is unique. No one can take each other’s place in this relationship. That’s why I brought Shwet here, so you both could spend some time together," Bharati explained.

Listening to her, Swati smiled at Shwet. After a while, Bharati left Swati’s house. Once she was gone, Shwet hugged Swati again and said, "I really missed you, Maasi Maa."

There was a slight tremble in his voice. When Swati looked at him, she saw his eyes glistening with unshed tears. He was emotional. Seeing him like that, Swati also became emotional. She hugged him tightly and said, "I missed you too, bachha."

"Maasi Maa, I know you must have missed me a lot. Because over there, I have everything—Mamma, Dad, Dadi ji, Dada Ji, and Parnana Ji. But you… After I left, you were all alone, right, Maasi Maa? That’s why when Mamma asked me to go with them, I refused. I told her I wanted to stay with you."

Hearing this, Swati's tears rolled down her cheeks. She hugged him even tighter. A few moments later, she wiped her tears and said, "Alright, now tell me, what do you want to eat?"

"Pasta!" Shwet immediately said.

Swati laughed and made him sit on the bed. "Okay, I’ll make it right away. You sit here while I prepare breakfast."

But just then, Shwet stopped her and said, "But Maasi Maa, don’t you have to go to work?"

Swati smiled and said, "Oh, forget work! You’re here, so do you think I’m going to leave you and go to work? Not at all. I’m taking the day off today!"

"Oh, Maasi Maa, you just took a leave a few days ago, didn't you? If you take so many leaves, your boss will fire you," Shwet said with concern.

Swati smiled and replied, "Don't worry, no one is going to fire me. Besides, because of someone, my boss probably doesn’t have the courage to fire me. That man must have done something, which is why my boss behaves so well with me."

"Who are you talking about, Maasi Maa?" Shwet asked curiously.

Walking towards the kitchen, Swati said, "No one," and then muttered to herself, "That Shivaay Parimal... who else?"

A little later, while eating, Shwet suddenly said, "Maasi Maa, will you listen to me?"

"Yes, tell me," Swati replied.

"Maasi Maa, you should marry Shivaay Uncle."

Swati was stunned and looked at Shwet, who seemed very serious.

"What? Marry Shivaay? But why? And why are you suddenly saying this?" Swati asked.

"Because, Maasi Maa, I don’t like that you live alone. You should marry Shivaay Uncle. He is very nice, and he will keep you very happy. He is also very rich. Then you won’t have to work like this. Otherwise, you do so much work. And now, you shouldn’t even have to worry about me—my school fees, my needs. So, you should get married. Then you won’t be alone anymore. Shivaay Uncle will keep you happy."

Hearing Shwet’s innocent words, Swati stared at him as if he had touched some deep part of her heart.

"You like your Shivaay Uncle so much? You trust him that much?" Swati asked softly.

Shwet nodded and said, "Yes, I completely trust Uncle. He will never let you be sad. I know that after I left, you became very lonely. You stay at home alone, you miss me a lot. Who knows, maybe you even cry. That’s why you should get married soon. And shall I tell you something?" Shwet asked.

Swati slowly nodded.

Shwet said, "I have liked Shivaay Uncle ever since I met him for the first time. I had already decided, even before Mamma and Dad met, that I would get you married to Shivaay Uncle. And then I would make him my Papa. But then I found my real Mamma and Papa, and now he can’t be my Papa. But he can be your husband, right? So, you should quickly make him your husband and free me from this tension. I worry about you a lot."

"Oh, so you’ve grown up so much that you’ve started worrying about me?" Swati laughed and pulled him close, tickling him.

Shwet started rolling around, laughing loudly. After a while, trying to control his laughter, he said, "Stop, stop, Maasi Maa, stop! My stomach is hurting!"

Swati also smiled, watching his laughter, and lay down on the bed with him. Shwet lay on top of her and said, "Will you listen to me?"

Swati just smiled softly and looked at him while running her fingers through his hair. Thoughts of Shivaay began to fill her mind.

Meanwhile, in Gujarat, Shivaay was enjoying breakfast with his father, eating dhokla. Suddenly, he started hiccupping.

"Shu thayu?" Prafull asked while handing him a glass of water.

Taking the glass, Shivaay shook his head and said, "Kai nathi, Pappa," and quickly started drinking water.

Even after drinking water, his hiccups didn’t stop, so Prafull said, “Who is remembering you so much that your hiccups aren’t stopping?”

Just then, between hiccups, Shivaay replied, “Who else? It must be those two who remember me with such intensity.”

"Who? I understand one, but who is the other?" Prafull asked, confused.

Shivaay, still hiccupping, said, "One you’ve already figured out—your future daughter-in-law. And the second, the son I could never have."

"Oh, Shwet!" Prafull understood what he meant.

Shivaay nodded slowly in agreement. Then Prafull also started thinking about Shwet.

Remembering Shwet brought a smile to Prafull’s lips. Smiling, he said, "Yes, Shwet is really a wonderful child. From the first time I met him, I liked him a lot. And the way he talks... he doesn’t even talk like a child. He’s much wiser than his age."

"Yes, Pappa, you’re absolutely right. He’s very mature and cares a lot about Swati. You know, when I met him for the first time..." Shivaay began telling Praful all about his first meeting with Shwet and all their conversations from that day. He also recounted the incident at the mall when Shwet had revealed his hidden emotions to Shivaay, telling him that he had started seeing him as a father and wanted him to be his dad.

Hearing this, Praful’s face turned sad. He said, "He’s just a child, and children naturally hold onto anyone who gives them love. Shwet never received a father’s love since childhood, never felt a father’s affection. And when he saw you, unknowingly, he formed the image of a father in his mind… just as he saw Swati as his mother."

"Yes, Pappa, and that’s exactly what Swati was worried about. She wasn’t wrong to be concerned. She had warned me beforehand to stay away from Shwet. But now, nothing can be done. No matter how much I want, I can’t be his father anymore because his real father is with him now. The only thing I can do is pray that he accepts him as his father soon, that the image in his heart changes as soon as possible… that the face he sees as his dad shifts from mine to Abhinav’s, and the face he sees as his mother shifts from Swati’s to Shweta’s."

Paris,

Hotel's Garden Area

Rohit was sitting on a bench in the garden, his face fallen, looking annoyed.

A few moments ago…

"I don’t want to hear anything! Just go away from here!"

"Ruhi, but what did I do?"

"You need me to tell you what you did? You were flirting with those girls on the plane!"

"What? When did I flirt?"

"Oh, so it wasn’t you? Was it me who was flirting?"

"No, you didn’t either. It was those girls who were flirting with Hardik and me!"

"Oh really? And what were you doing? Smiling and replying to them!"

"Well, what was I supposed to do? Ignore them and be rude? I just smiled; it was a normal expression!"

"I know everything! What kind of 'normal expressions' were those? Shivika and I aren’t blind! We saw everything! Now, get out of the room!"

"Ruhi! What are you doing? We’re on our honeymoon, and you’re throwing me out of our hotel room? What will people say if they see this?"

"They’ll say that flirting has consequences! And they’ll learn a lesson from you! Now go and teach them!"

Saying this, Ruhi pushed Rohit out of the room and slammed the door shut.

Recalling everything, Rohit grabbed his head and groaned, "This is ridiculous! Imagine, I’m on my honeymoon, and my wife has kicked me out of the room! This only happens to me!" Then, reconsidering, he said, "No, no! This time, I’m not alone! God didn’t make me suffer alone! Hardik must be in the same situation! By now, his flight must have reached Switzerland, and he must be standing outside his hotel room too!"

Switzerland…

Here, the situation was similar yet different. Hardik was alone, but not outside the room—he was inside! Lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling, he kept muttering to himself.

"My wife is truly unique! When wives get mad, they kick their husbands out of the room. But mine… she got mad and left the room herself! She booked another room! What the hell! I thought I’d have romantic moments with her! But here I am, lying alone on this bed… with these stupid flower petals!"

He grabbed a handful of rose petals from the bed, staring at them. This was a honeymoon suite, beautifully decorated—Rishabh had booked honeymoon suites for everyone. But at that moment, all this decoration felt like a cruel joke to Hardik because his Shivika wasn’t there with him.

Frustrated, he sat up and walked toward the door. "That’s it! Enough is enough! I’m going to get her! How can she just do whatever she wants? If she’s stubborn, then so am I! I’m bringing her back right now!"

But then, he paused. He sat back down on the sofa, made a small pout, and said sadly, "Forget it! I won’t go! She must be exhausted from all the flight changes, probably sleeping. If I go now, instead of calming down, she might get even angrier! Who knows? She might not just change rooms next time—she might change the whole hotel! Or worse, she might book a flight and go back home! It’s better if I let her rest."

The Next Day

The next day turned out to be a good one for everyone, including Rohit and Hardik. After spending the entire day together, both finally managed to pacify their angry wives.

Santorini

In the narrow alleys of Santorini, surrounded by white and blue buildings, Abhinav and Shweta walked hand in hand. The sea breeze played with their hair, and the sunlight made the entire atmosphere magical.

"Abhinav, this place is so beautiful! I’ve only seen places like this in movies!" Shweta looked around, taking in the breathtaking views. Her face beamed with happiness.

Suddenly, Abhinav stopped. Seeing him halt, Shweta looked at him, confused. "What happened? Why did you stop?" she asked.

Intertwining his fingers with hers, Abhinav asked, "Will you dance with me?"

"Dance? And here?" Shweta exclaimed, startled, looking around. They were standing in the middle of the street.

Abhinav gestured toward a nearby Greek dance performance group. Shweta looked at them, seeing some of them dancing.

Then, she turned back to Abhinav, who was gazing at her with hopeful eyes. At first, she wanted to refuse—she still felt uncomfortable dancing among strangers. But looking at him, she couldn’t say no. She nodded her head in agreement.

Seeing her agree, Abhinav smiled and led her to the group, joining the dance. At first, Shweta hesitated, but then she let go and surrendered to the music and Abhinav’s embrace.

A few moments later, she forgot everything around her and got lost in the dance, enjoying every moment with him.

As the dance ended, Abhinav pulled her close. "You are the most beautiful surprise of my life," he whispered.

Shweta’s eyes sparkled, and she hugged him tightly.

Switzerland

A thick white blanket of snow covered the icy mountains of Switzerland. Amidst the towering peaks stood a small wooden cabin. Inside, the warmth from the burning fire filled the space, but Shivika was still shivering from the cold. Hardik wrapped her in his jacket and sat beside her.

Shivika looked up at him. The cold had made her lips quiver slightly, and her cheeks had turned pink. With a hint of annoyance, she said, "What is this, Hardik? We had such a great day roaming around, and now you've brought me here—to this cottage. It's freezing even inside!"

"That's exactly why I brought you here," Hardik said, gently touching her rosy cheeks. "Because I love the way your cheeks turn pink. You look so beautiful like this."

Hearing his words, Shivika blushed and lowered her gaze with a smile. Hardik slowly took her hands in his and pulled her closer. Snow continued to fall outside the window, while inside, the warmth between them grew.

Just then, Hardik leaned in and whispered in her ear, "I have a surprise for you inside."

"What is it?" Shivika asked immediately.

"Go and see for yourself," he said with a playful smirk.

Curious, Shivika stood up and walked into the cottage's bedroom. The moment she opened the door, her heart started racing. The room was illuminated by candlelight, and on the bed, rose petals were arranged in the shape of a heart. A gift box lay beside it.

Taking slow, steady breaths, she stepped forward and picked up the box. Opening it, she found the very nightdress that Hardik had shown her at the mall.

Startled, she quickly put the dress back into the box. Just as she was about to say something, her eyes fell on a note lying next to it.

"I know you're about to say no, but let me tell you—saying no is not an option. I want to see you in this, Shivika. So hurry up and put it on… because if you take too long, I’ll come inside and help you wear it myself."

Reading the note, Shivika's heart pounded so loudly that it felt as if it had stopped for a moment. She placed a hand on her chest and whispered to herself, "Hardik, have you lost your mind?"

She then walked to the door and stood there, looking at Hardik, who was still staring into the flames. Just then, he turned and glanced at her. A small smile appeared on his lips before he turned back to the fire.

Seeing him turn away, Shivika slowly closed the door. The sound of the door shutting made Hardik’s smile widen even more.
