When Rohit entered the room, he was surprised to see the decorated room. Thinking it was Hardikâs room, he quickly turned to leave, but Ruhi was standing in front of him.
Seeing her, he hurriedly started speaking, âOh Ruhi, did you drink too? But you donât drink! Is this some new habit of yours? Even if it is, control yourself today. This is Hardikâs roomâletâs leave quickly before anyone sees us. Come on, say something!â
He stepped closer to her and grabbed her hand, but Ruhi freed her hand from his grip and held up two fingers. âHow many fingers are these?â she asked.
Confused, Rohit replied, âTwo.â
Then Ruhi showed him four fingers. âAnd these?â
âFour,â Rohit answered again before adding, âAre you testing my counting skills?â
Ignoring his question, Ruhi pointed towards a table in the room and asked, âHow many candles are there on that table?â
Rohit looked at the table, counted, and said, âOne, two, three, four, five, six, seven candles.â
âAnd what kind of flowers are around them?â
âRoses.â
âAnd what color are the roses?â
âPink.â
Ruhi asked her questions, and Rohit answered each one of them, growing increasingly irritated. Finally, he burst out, âWhy are you asking so many questions? Look, if we donât leave this room, weâll get caught. Hardik and Shivika might not be here now, but if they come back, weâll both be in trouble.â
Ruhi lightly smacked his cheek and said, âYou answered everything correctly, which means youâre not drunk. So, is there an invisible blindfold over your eyes, preventing you from recognizing your own wife standing right in front of you? Look at me carefully. Look at this room carefully.â
Rohit touched his cheek, looked around the room, and noticed photos of him and Ruhi, along with his belongings. Realizing it was his own room, he stared at Ruhi in surprise.
Ruhi stood there in a sexy black nightgown, looking stunning.
It finally clicked for Rohit. A big smile spread across his face as he stepped closer to Ruhi. But she placed her hands on his chest to push him back and said, âDonât you dare come closer! I went through so much effort with Riyaâs help to decorate our room, prepared myself, and wore this dress with difficulty. And you⦠Youâve been rambling nonsense for so long! Honestly, you donât deserve this. Rohit, you deserve to stay single forever. Donât come near meâif you do then you are gone!â Turning her face away in anger, Ruhi fumed.
Rohit held his ears, apologized repeatedly, and said, âSorry, sorry! Seeing this beautifully decorated room, I panicked a little. I thought it was Hardikâs room. Imagine how awkward it wouldâve been if Iâd barged into his room! My brain just didnât register that this was our room.â
Ruhi retorted, âKeep your sorry to yourself. I donât want to hear anything. Iâm going to change.â Saying this, Ruhi started to leave. Rohit quickly blocked her path and said, âNo, no! Okay, Iâm sorry! Fine, whatever punishment you give me, Iâll accept it. Please donât leave like this.â
âReally? Whatever punishment I give, youâll accept it?â Ruhi asked, narrowing her eyes mischievously. She enjoyed seeing him flustered and apologetic, but her face still held a stern expression. Rohit eagerly nodded. âYes, yes! Whatever punishment you say, Iâll do it.â
âFine then, do 100 squats,â Ruhi said with a smirk.
âWhat?â Rohit exclaimed in shock.
âYes, 100 squats. Why are you so surprised? For someone like you, a mafia member, with so much energy and strength, it shouldnât be a big deal. Start now!â
âOkay, fine. Iâll do it,â Rohit replied with a small pout, holding his ears and starting to bend down slowly.
But in the next moment, he lifted Ruhi in his arms. She widened her eyes in shock and stared at him. Rohit brought his face close to hers and said, âI do have strength and energy, but Iâm not going to wastt it on squats tonight. Your punishment is on hold for now; weâll complete it some other day. As for waiting, Iâve done my share of waiting all night.â
Saying this, he carried her to the bed. Ruhi tried to wriggle free, saying, âRohit, this is cheating! You didnât complete your punishment, and now youâre taking advantage of the situation!â
Placing her gently on the bed, Rohit leaned over, pinned her hands down, and said, âEverything is fair in love and war baby. And tonight, our love will reach its peak, for which Iâm ready to do anything.â
With that, he pressed his lips against hers passionately. Ruhi reciprocated, clutching his hands and closing her eyes. Moments later, Rohit released her hands, cupped her face, and deepened the kiss.
Ruhi then pushed him, making him lie on his back, and straddled him. Seeing this bold side of her, Rohit was momentarily stunned but then smirked mischievously and said, âI didnât know my Ruhi could be so bold.â
Ruhi leaned close, placed her hand on his cheek, and said, âYour Ruhi has always been bold, is bold, and will always remain bold. And donât forget, I dreamed of being with you just as much as you did.â
She leaned in even closer, her warm breath grazing his face, making Rohit feel at peace. She kissed him, and soon, their hands roamed over each other, discarding their clothes and fulfilling the dreams theyâd cherished for years.
Vikramâs House,
Guest Room
Anokhi sat cross-legged on the sofa, her face propped on her hands, gazing at the balcony where Rishabh was angrily talking on the phone.
In a stern tone, Rishabh said, âI didnât start this business to hand out charity. If you canât devise a strategy for the upcoming deal, then make plans for how youâll survive after getting fired.â
Hearing this, Anokhi, who had been watching him for a while, made a face and muttered to herself, âBusiness, business, business! All Rishabh sees is business. Someone should tell him that B doesnât just stand for business; it also stands for biwi (wife)âand thatâs me!â
Anokhi's words were slightly slurred, her eyes were slightly red, and her face was bright pink. The vodka bottle on the table in front of her was completely empty, making it clear that Anokhi was heavily intoxicated. She said again, "But no one will tell Rishabh Ji. I know, because everyone is scared of him. But I⦠I am his cupcake. I⦠I am not scared. I will teach him ABCD."
Saying this, she hurriedly walked towards the balcony with wobbly steps. Rishabh, who was still on the phone, turned around immediately when he heard faint footsteps behind him. He saw Anokhi standing there.
Before he could say anything, Anokhi took the phone from his hand and, in her slurred, drunken voice, said on the call, "You all⦠you all are fools like Rishabh Ji. Donât you know office matters should stay in the office? Is this the time to talk about work on the phone? Looks like your wife doesnât scold you, thatâs why youâve become like Rishabh, always talking about business. So, I, Anokhi Rishabh Shergill, telling you to go to sleep now because Iâm hanging up your call!"
Saying this, she ended the call and looked at Rishabh, who was staring at her with wide, astonished eyes. Holding the phone, he said, "Cupcake, you⦠what did you just..." But before finishing his sentence, he stopped and focused on Anokhi's face. Her red eyes, pink face, slurred voice, and the smell of vodka left Rishabh in utter disbelief.
"Cupcake, did you drink?" he asked in a shocked voice.
Anokhi placed her finger on her head, as if thinking, and then nodded, "Yes, yes! I drank water. Yes, I drank water."
Rishabh quickly returned to the room and stood near the sofa, staring at the table. The vodka bottle was completely empty. Anokhi followed him back.
"Cupcake, youâ¦" Saying this he turned around. But Anokhi was standing right behind him. The moment he turned, she pushed him, causing him to fall onto the sofa. She, too, sit on his lap.
Seeing this, Rishabh became nervous for a moment. He placed his hands on Anokhi's shoulders and, trying to move her away, and said, "Cupcake, come to your senses. Why did you need to finish an entire vodka bottle?"
"Are you stupid, Rishabh Ji?"
"Did you just call me stupid?" Rishabh asked, shocked.
Nodding her head, Anokhi said, "Yes, you are stupid. I just told you, didnât I? I drank water, not vodka. Donât you know the difference between water and vodka? Anyway, you donât know anything. Thatâs why Iâm here to teach you."
"What are you here to teach? What are you going to do?" Rishabh asked nervously.
While Anokhi's speech was slurred due to the alcohol, Rishabhâs voice trembled without drinking anything. Seeing this bold side of Anokhi, he was growing increasingly anxious. A light sweat appeared on his forehead. He thought to himself, "Cupcake is completely drunk. Itâs better to put her to sleep. "
"What are you thinking?" Anokhi asked, grabbing his face and turning it towards her.
Rishabh held her hands and, with a fake smile, said, "Nothing, Iâm not thinking anything." Then, after a moment, he added, "Actually, I was thinking itâs very late. We should both go to sleep. Tomorrow is your Bhabi Maaâs first cooking ritual, right? You must be very excited for it. So letâs go to bed."
Saying this, Rishabh tried to get Anokhi off his lap. But Anokhi wrapped her arms around his neck and, pulling him closer, said, "No, Iâm not sleeping until I teach you ABCD."
"Cupcake, I learned ABCD years ago in school. You donât need to make an effort. I paid to learn it and got my moneyâs worth, so now go to sleep quietly."
This time, Rishabh spoke a bit firmly, hoping Anokhi would comply. But Anokhi raised her voice even louder and said, "No! I said I will teach you ABCD. You donât know it at all. Who was the stupid teacher who taught you? You donât know anything."
"Alright, fine. Teach me. But after that, youâll go to sleep, okay?" Rishabh said, giving in.
Tapping on his chest with her finger, Anokhi said, "Do you know, A is not for Assets; A is for Anokhi, which is me." She pointed at herself as she spoke.
Hearing this, the nervousness on Rishabhâs face started fading. His expression softened. Anokhi continued, "B is not for Business; B is for Biwi , which is me." Again, she pointed at herself. Seeing her cute face, a smile crept onto Rishabhâs lips.
Anokhi said again, "C is not for Company; C is for Cupcake, which is also me."
Hearing C for Cupcake, Rishabh burst into laughter. Wrapping his arm around her waist, he pulled her closer and affectionately asked, " And what about D?"
"D is not for Deal; D is for Darling, and thatâs me too."
Like this, Anokhi went through the entire alphabet, adding strange meanings for each letter to describe herself: J for Jabardast Biwi, S for Sweet Cupcake, P for Pyaari Anokhi, L for Lovely Wife. Rishabh listened to her lovingly. After finishing, Anokhi said like a teacher, "Understood? Do you remember everything? If not, Iâll explain again."
Her face turned even pinker, her eyes more intoxicated. Seeing her, Rishabhâs affection grew. He gently moved a strand of hair from her forehead and said, "Yes, I learned everything. From A to Z, every letter represents my wife, my cupcake, my Anokhi, in every form."
"Very good student," Anokhi said, pulling Rishabhâs cheeks and kissing them. Then she added, "Since you learned so quickly, Iâll give you a gift."
"Thereâs no need for a gift. Just go to sleepâthat will be a gift for me," Rishabh tried to persuade her.
But Anokhi got stubborn again and angrily stood up, saying, "Fine, then no gift! But Iâm not going to sleep. Iâm not sleepy." Saying this, she quickly walked out of the room.
Rishabh called after her, "Cupcake, wait!" and hurriedly followed her.
