===================================

Shweta quickly opened her eyes. Her eyes were filled with tears, red, and only fear could be seen in them. Seeing this, Abhinav felt shattered.

Abhinav said, "Shweta, it's me, Abhinav. Your Abhinav." Saying this, he placed Shweta's hand on his cheek. After looking at him with those frightened eyes for a while, the fear in Shweta's eyes began to gradually fade. She placed her other hand on Abhinav's face and softly said, "Abhi... Abhi...Ab..Abhinav." And as soon as she said that, she broke into tears.

Abhinav held her close to his chest and wrapped both of them in the blanket. He turned off all the lights in the room. After letting her cry for a while, Abhinav kissed every place where she had those marks, and slowly he made Shweta feel his love.

For Shweta, it was very difficult, as every touch brought back painful memories of her nights. But Abhinav was pulling her away from those painful memories. The night passed for both of them in pain, fear, longing, and a bit of love.

What happened between them that night was not only love but also a healing process for Shweta. It was a cure for Shweta's painful memories.

Shergill Mansion,

Shivaay was standing on the terrace, thinking about Swati. Just then, Alok came over with two cups of coffee. Handing one mug to Shivaay, he said, "What's up? Thinking about Swati?"

Shivaay look at Alok and, taking the mug, said, "Now you are the expert in love, romance, and all, so what's the point in hiding from you? Yes, I am thinking about her."

Hearing this, Alok stared at him and said, "Couldn't you say it straight? Was it necessary to beat around the bush?"

"Sorry, Uncle, what can I do? My girl is complicated, so my mind got twisted," Shivaay said with a smirk.

Alok, sipping his coffee, asked him, "Tell me one thing, does she really love you? If she doesn't, are you forcing her? If she has no feelings for you, whatever you do will feel like you're forcing her."

Listening to Alok's words, Shivaay frowned and said with irritation, "Oh god, enough! Does everyone see me as some sort of thug? My name is Shivaay, an avatar of Mahadev, at least respect the name. Does it look like I am forcing her?"

Seeing his irritated face, Alok smiled and said, "Why are you getting so worked up? I was just asking a question. Who else would I ask to know what's in her heart? That's why I asked."

Looking at the dark night, Shivaay spoke in a calm tone, "There's something in her heart, Uncle. I've seen those feelings in her eyes, and that's why I’m chasing after her. Otherwise, if I hadn't seen any emotions in her eyes all these days, I would have stepped back. I wouldn’t have bothered her. But yes, she loves me. But there's something keeping her away from me. Now, what that is, only she knows, but I will find out."

Swati's house,

Swati was sitting on her bed, looking at a picture of Swati and Shwet. Touching the picture, she said, "From today, your new life begins. May both of you always stay happy."

Just then, her phone rang. She saw an unknown landline number on the screen. This surprised Swati, as she rarely received calls so late at night.

But for some reason, she picked it up. A sweet voice came from the other side, "Maasi Maa, aren't you asleep yet?" Hearing the voice, a smile appeared on Swati's face.

She put the photo frame aside and walked toward the window, saying, "Forget about me, why are you up so late? And this call?"

"Maasi Maa, there's a landline in my room, so I thought I'd call you," Shwet said.

Swati smiled and replied, "Wow, my boy, now you have you own room, personal landline, that's nice."

"But Maasi Maa, I can't sleep." Shwet said, and Swati fell silent for a moment. After thinking for a bit, she said, "Then go sleep with your Bua. You know, your Bua and Maasi Maa are just like a same, so go sleep with her."

"Okay." , shwet said.

"Did you drink milk?" Swati asked, and Shwet replied, "Yes, I did."

"Good, now go to sleep. You have school tomorrow, right? I’ll come home in two days, and then we will talk a lot, okay?"

"Okay, goodnight.I love you maasi Maa. "

"I love you too, mera baccha." Swati said with a smile as she hung up the phone.

"They are close, and that’s enough for me. Shwet was always like a son to me, and he will always remain my son. What if I’m no longer his mother?" She took a deep breath and lay down on the bed.

The next morning,

Abhinav’s room,

Abhinav, resting his head on his hand, was looking at the sleeping Shweta. They hadn’t slept all night, and Shweta had fallen asleep just an hour ago. Abhinav, however, was far from sleep. He was simply gazing at Shweta’s face.

He gently pushed the hair from her face behind her ear, kissed her forehead, and softly said, "You are very brave, Shweta. You have so much strength. I was just there to support you, but last night, you fought with yourself. I hope you’ve won. I hope from now on, the painful memories won’t return, but our loving moments will. Yes, I agree, what happened between us last night may not be called love. Because both of us were in pain, but I promise to turn every moment of our life into moments of love."

Abhinav looked at the clock; it was 6:00 in the morning. At that moment, he said to himself, "It's already 6:00, and I'm still not sleepy. I should exercise for a while. When Shweta wakes up, I'll make tea for her."

Saying this, he kissed Shweta on the forehead once again and got up from the bed, heading to the washroom.

A little later, he changed and left the room. After two hours of exercising, Abhinav went to the kitchen. He had just placed a pan on the stove to make tea when Bharati entered the kitchen. She saw Abhinav and smiled, asking, "Here today?"

"I came to make tea," he said, adding water to the pan, followed by tea leaves, sugar, ginger, and black pepper.

Hearing this, Bharati smiled. She playfully ruffled Abhinav's hair and said, "It's nice that after many months, I'll get to drink tea made by my son."

Abhinav smiled back at her words.

After a brief silence, Bharati softly asked Abhinav, "Is Shweta okay? Was everything alright last night? Did you take care of her?"

Abhinav looked at her. Bharati held his hand and said, "Look, I am your mother, but before that, I am a woman. I can only understand a fraction of her pain. The rest she has endured herself. It must have been very hard for her last night. If something happened between the two of you, I hope you took care of her. She needs you more than ever."

Abhinav placed his hand on Bharati's shoulder and said, "Maa, just like you trust me, she also do. Yes, last night was very hard, but Shweta is very brave. If she isn't fully healed yet, that's okay. I will keep trying with my efforts until she fully recovers, until she completely rises above those incidents."

Bharati smiled, placing her hand on his cheek, and said, "My sweet son, I know you will never leave her side. Now, hurry and finish making the tea. Give me one cup and take the other to her."

She left the kitchen, and Abhinav poured two cups of tea. He handed one to Bharati, who was sitting on the sofa, and took the other cup to his room. He placed the tea on the table and sat on the bed next to Shweta.

He noticed that Shweta was slowly waking up. Seeing her wake, Abhinav smiled. Shweta gently opened her eyes and saw Abhinav sitting beside her. For a moment, she was startled and quickly sat up, clutching the blanket tightly to her chest.

Seeing her startled and anxious, Abhinav smiled warmly and said, "Shweta, it's me, Abhinav."

At his words, Shweta came to her senses. She slowly nodded and said, "Sorry. Sorry!"

"It's okay," Abhinav said, kissing her forehead and gently caressing her cheek, "Did you sleep well? Are you feeling okay now?"

Shweta slowly nodded. Abhinav handed her the cup of tea and said, "Here, I brought tea for you."

"Why did you go through the trouble? I could have gone downstairs and had it with everyone," Shweta said.

Abhinav smiled and replied, "It's no trouble; just have it here. You can have breakfast with everyone downstairs. Come on, drink it quickly and tell me how it tastes."

"You made this?" Shweta asked in surprise, and then, remembering something, added, "Oh, right, you do know how to make tea. In fact, you know how to cook as well. But I always wondered, you don't drink tea, so how do you know how to make it?"

Abhinav replied, "Because maa loves tea, so I make it for her. Now drink and tell me how it is."

Shweta took a sip and said, "It's really good."

Abhinav took the cup from her hand and said, "Well, I'll try it today."

Saying this, he took a sip and handed the cup back to Shweta, saying, "It's good, but it's a little too sweet."

"Too sweet? No, the tea is just perfect," Shweta said, taking another sip.

Abhinav smiled and, while wiping a drop of tea from the corner of her lips with his fingers, said, "Oh, so the tea isn't too sweet? Maybe it's something else that's sweet."

At his gesture, Shweta lowered her eyes. Tears began to well up in her eyes, rolling down her cheeks. Seeing her cry, Abhinav panicked. He took the cup from her hands and placed it on the side table, lifting her face and asking, "What happened, Shweta? Why are you crying? Did I do something wrong? Did something I say or do hurt you? I'm sorry."

At that moment, Shweta hugged him tightly and, crying, said, "You're so good, Abhinav. So good. I will pray to God that every girl from Rang Mahal also finds a partner like you, someone who can pull them out of their painful memories just like you pulled me out."

Abhinav held her in his arms, gently caressing her back, and said, "Don't worry, Shweta. None of them made any mistakes either. They, too, were punished for no fault of their own, so happiness will come into their lives as well. God will not be unjust to them." Then, he began to comfort her.

Afterward, Abhinav wiped Shweta's tears and kissed her forehead, saying, "Now calm down, Shweta, and get ready quickly. After all, today is your Pehli rasoi. It's been many years since I've had anything made by you. Just the thought of it makes my heart dance with joy. So now I'm not going to wait—get ready quickly and hurry downstairs to make breakfast, okay?"

Shweta nodded with a smile. A little while later, they both came downstairs. Bharti, Ruhi, Bharti’s father, and Raghav were all in the hall. Shweta touched the feet of each one of them. Bharti, smiling, placed her hand on Shweta's cheek and said, "You look very beautiful, dear."

Shweta was wearing a red sari. Bharti said, "Today is your first kitchen. Come, I'll show you where everything is. And Ruhi, help your sister-in-law, okay?"

"Yes, mom," Ruhi replied with a smile. Then all three of them went to the kitchen. A little later, Bharti explained everything and came out of the kitchen, while everyone waited for breakfast to be ready.

After the breakfast was ready, Ruhi and Shweta set the entire breakfast table together, and everyone sat in their respective chairs. Shweta served everyone, one by one. She had made something everyone liked.

Bharti, smiling, said, "You made something everyone likes, Shweta. How did you know?"

"Maa, Ruhi told me," Shweta replied, and everyone smiled. They all ate breakfast and really enjoyed the food Shweta had prepared. They each gave her a gift.

Then Bharti looked at Ruhi and said, "Now that Abhinav is married, we will start preparing for Ruhi’s wedding tomorrow. One daughter has come, and in a few days, another daughter will leave." Saying this, Bharti became a little emotional.

Ruhi got up from her chair, hugged Bharti from behind, and said, "Mom, you’re getting emotional already. If you cry, I’ll start crying too."

Just then, Abhinav joked, "Yes, maa, don’t get emotional, or she will really start crying, and then her makeup will run, revealing her true witch-like face."

"Bhai, did you just call me a witch? Wait, I’ll show you!" Ruhi said, chasing Abhinav. Abhinav quickly ran off. Seeing them chase each other like that made everyone laugh.

Seeing Abhinav so happy, Bharti took Shweta’s hand and said, "Thank you, dear. Your arrival has brought back the old Abhinav."

Shweta just smiled.

Shergill Mansion

The Shergill Mansion garden was fully decorated because tomorrow was the Mehendi ceremony. All the functions were going to be held at home, except the wedding. After dinner, everyone was sitting in the garden, chatting.

Shobha looked at Shalini and asked, "Shalini, will the Mehendi artist arrive on time tomorrow?"

"Yes, Shobha, she will. Don’t worry, she will be on time," Shalini replied.

Just then, Shivika, excited, said, "Great! Tomorrow will be so much fun. After so long, I’ll be getting Mehendi. You know, I really love Mehendi."

Shobha, scolding her, said, "Not at all. You and Preeti, both of you, are not getting Mehendi."

"Why?" Preeti and Shivika asked in surprise.

Shobha explained, "Did you forget? Both of you are getting married in just a few days. Mehendi takes 10-12 days to wear off. How will you apply your future husbands' names in Mehendi if the old one hasn't worn off? Will you apply it over half-faded Mehendi?"

Surekha added, “Yes, what did she say was right. You’ll be the first brides with half-faded Mehendi designs.”

Everyone smiled at Surekha’s comment. Preeti and Shivika, nodding, said, "Yes, we didn’t think of that. But then, what will we do? Our hands will look so bare while everyone else has Mehendi."

Hearing this, Hardik, who was sitting nearby, smiled. Shivaay, who was sitting in front of Hardik, drinking coffee, glared at him and said, "Why are you smiling so much looking at my sister?"

Smiling, Hardik responded, "And why are you getting so much jealous watching others prepare for their weddings?"

Shivaay was left speechless by this remark and could only glare at him. Rohit, laughing, said, "Wow, Hardik, that was a great comeback. Truly enjoyed it."

"Don’t talk too much, or your bride’s hands will be red with Mehendi, and your cheeks will be red too," Shivaay warned Rohit, glaring at him as he resumed drinking his coffee.

Rohit quietly said to Omkar, "Man, he’s really burned up. Poor guy, left all alone. I actually feel bad for him now. We need to do something."

"Well, it's wedding season, let’s stir things up a bit. Who knows, watching everyone else get married might make his stubborn Swati agree too."

Omkar smiled and winked at Rohit, who also smiled. Meanwhile, Preeti and Shivika were still worried about how their hands would look bare when everyone else would have Mehendi.

Shalini then said, "Why are you two so worried? Don’t get real Mehendi; there are Mehendi designs tattoo available in the market. You two can wear those. It’ll look like Mehendi, and you won’t have to worry about the color."

"Yes, that’s a great idea, aunty!" Shivika said, excited.

Just then, Anokhi jumped up from her seat and said, "Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute."

"You got a full 3 minutes," Vikram said, smiling.

With a very serious expression, Anokhi said, "Bhaiya, no jokes. I’m going to ask a very important question. This is a serious matter, and I’m very serious."

Omkar quickly said to Hardik, "Hey Hardik, what are you sitting for? Check my sister. She’s very serious."

Omkar burst out laughing, and soon everyone else followed.

Stomping her foot, Anokhi said, " Omi Bhaiya, you’re making fun of me too."

"Alright, alright, no more jokes. Go ahead, what’s your serious issue?" Dadaji said, quieting everyone, and Anokhi said, "Well, just like Shivika didi and bhabhi maa, we’ll all be in the same situation, right?"

Anokhi said, but nobody understood what she meant. Archana asked, "Anu, what are you trying to say?"

"Mom, if we also get Mehendi now, later our Mehendi will also look half-faded. So what will we do then?"

"Anokhi has a point," Surekha said.

Just then, Shanaya said, "Let’s all just apply those sticker Mehendi designs too. Everyone except the brides will wear sticker Mehendi. It’ll become a trend, something unique."

"Yes, that’s perfect! We’ll do that. You’re so smart, Shanaya didi. That’s why you’re a doctor," Anokhi said, pulling Shanaya’s chubby cheeks.

Everyone smiled at that. Due to her pregnancy, Shanaya had gained some weight, and her cheeks had become a little chubby. Though Anokhi didn’t pull them hard, Shanaya’s skin had become more sensitive due to the pregnancy and it turn little red.

Praveen said to Rishabh, "Rishabh sir, please tell you wife not to pull my wife’s cheeks. Look, her cheeks have turned red."

Rishabh, glaring, said, "Oh, so you’re taking such good care of your wife? And what about when all of you all pull my wife’s cheeks?"

Praveen smiled and replied, "Well, when Anokhi will pregnant, we’ll stop pulling her cheeks too. I promise."

Praveen winked at everyone, making the boys smile.

Rishabh, however, looked at Praveen and then at Anokhi, who was sitting beside Shanaya, hugging her and chatting with her, smiling sweetly.

Seeing her cute face, Rishabh’s stern glare softened, and Praveen’s words echoed in his mind. He even started imagining Anokhi with a baby bump, her cuteness enhanced by the pregnancy.

His cute cupcake and her baby bump. Imagining this made a smile naturally appear on Rishabh’s face.

"Looks like Rishabh has drifted off into a dream," Vikram said, making everyone smile. But Rishabh was still lost in his dream world.

Vikram shook his shoulders to bring him out of his dream world and then placed his hand on his shoulder, saying, "By the way, my brother, you'll have to work hard to make that dream a reality."

Hearing this, everyone laughed. All the boys smiled at his words.

They were sitting a little farther away from everyone else, so none of the others could hear what the boys were talking about. Otherwise, if Dadaji, Shobha, or Shalini had heard what Vikram said, Vikram's ears would have surely turned red.
