Shivaay shamelessly responded after hearing her, "No, I don't understand simple things. The thing is, my girl is your spicy chili, so I also have to become a bit like you, otherwise, how will I adjust with her?"

Hearing this, Swati got even angrier.

Shergill Mansion

Riya was all dressed up and heading downstairs to the hall. As she passed the guest room, her eyes fell on Omkar sitting on the bed, his back facing the door. Riya was ready for Raksha Bandhan. She wore a very lovely pink suit. After looking around and finding no one else, she smiled and walked into the room. She closed the door and quietly approached Omkar.

Wrapping her hands around his neck from behind and rubbing her cheeks against his, she teasingly said, "Are you hiding here so you don’t have to give your little sister a gift?"

Just then, she felt something wet on her cheeks. Surprised, she looked and saw that Omkar’s tears were falling onto her cheeks.

Riya quickly came in front of him and, sitting on the floor beside him, turned his face toward her and asked, "Omkar, what’s this? Why are you crying?"

“This is my first Raksha Bandhan, Riya, that I’ll be celebrating with my sister,” Omkar said with a heavy voice.

Wiping his tears, Riya said, “But that’s a happy thing, right? Why are you crying?”

Omkar then said, “You know, Riya, every year on this day, I used to feel defeated. I always wanted to go there, to have her tie me a rakhi, but I never had the courage. You know, Vikram has proven to be a good brother to Anu. Since I’ve seen him, their bond is special. Sometimes I wonder why I’m not like Vikram. Why don’t I have the kind of relationship they do?”

“Because you have guilt, Om, and that guilt is stopping you from forming that bond,” Riya explained.

Omkar looked at her with tear-filled eyes.

Riya continued, “Yes, the guilt around everything has ended, but the guilt inside you hasn’t. Omkar, you’ve never spoken openly with your sister-in-law. You’ve never shared the pain that’s inside you with her. You’ve never tried to understand the pain she’s carrying. The conversation you both had that night at the party wasn’t really a talk. It was just a moment where you realized that, yes, your relationship still exists, but you need to deepen that bond. You need to let go of this guilt. Whenever you see your sister, this guilt will come in front of your eyes and will stop you from taking steps forward."

“Can my guilt really be resolved, Riya?” Omkar asked.

Hugging him, Riya replied, “Of course, guilt is meant to be resolved. Yours will be too. You’ve always treated your sister like a sister; you’ve never wished her ill. Mistakes happen, everyone makes mistakes. Now, get ready quickly, or soon she’ll be calling all her brothers.”

Riya had just finished saying that when Anokhi’s voice came from outside, yelling to everyone, “I’m a girl, and I’ve gotten ready so quickly. Where are all of you stuck? Come fast, or the time for tying the rakhi will end!”

Hearing her voice, both Riya and Omkar laughed. Riya got up and, pulling Omkar up, said, “Come on, let’s go quickly now.”

Omkar, deep in thought, said, “Riya, you go ahead. I’ll come. I have something to take care of.”

“Alright, come soon,” Riya said and left the room.

Everyone gathered downstairs, dressed in light colors like pink, yellow, and white. Anokhi was wearing a white Anarkali with a pink dupatta. The boys were dressed in simple kurta-pajamas.

Anokhi was looking lovingly at the brothers who had always stood by her, spoiled her, and made her strong. But then she noticed something. Everyone was there except for Omkar and Shivaay.

Anokhi asked, “Where are Shivaay Bhaiya and Omi Bhaiya?”

“I’ve sent Shivaay to the temple for something. He’ll be back soon,” Shobha said.

Riya added, “And Omkar has gone out for something.”

Hearing this, everyone started looking at her.

Surekha said, “Wow, Riya, you sure know a lot about your future husband’s whereabouts.”

Riya blushed.

Then Anokhi said happily, “He must’ve gone to get a gift for me,” showing off her wide smile.

Vikram teased, “Wow, Princess, aaj to tumhaari chandi ho gai ( you’ve hit the jackpot today.) ”

Anokhi quickly responded, “Not just a chandi but gold! You all are so rich. What’s the use of saving all that money? Just give it to me.”

Everyone burst into laughter at her comment, while Rishabh, remembering what Anokhi had said the previous night, shook his head regretfully.

Meanwhile,

at the temple,

Swati was angrily glaring at Shivaay. She was about to say something else when they both heard Shweta’s voice.

Hearing her voice, both Swati and Shivaay quickly turned to look. Shweta and Abhinav were staring at Swati and Shivaay in surprise. Seeing their looks, both Swati and Shivaay realized that Swati was still in Shivaay’s arms, and he hadn’t let her go. As soon as they became aware, they quickly separated. Shivaay released her, and Swati stepped away, adjusting her hair.

“Swati, what was that?” Shweta tried to ask, but Swati quickly grabbed her hand and said, “I think you two have finished your conversation. Let’s head home. You can talk more later.” Without giving anyone a chance to say anything, Swati took her away. Both Shivaay and Abhinav watched them leave.

After they left, Abhinav turned to Shivaay and asked, “What’s going on between you two?”

“Going on? You think something’s going on between us? The car is stuck in one place. I’m pushing it alone, but no one is helping to move it forward,”

Shivaay grumbled and walked away. Abhinav, utterly confused by his words, stood there, not understanding a single thing Shivaay had said.

“What did he just say?” Abhinav muttered to himself as he watched Shivaay walk over to the priest, escort him to the car, and drive off.

Shaking his head, Abhinav said, “I have no idea what’s going on.” But then, remembering Shweta, a smile spread across his face. He looked up at the sky, thanking God, “Thank you, God, today you’ve given me my life back. Thank you so much.”

With that, he too left the temple, smiling.

When Swati and Shweta returned home, Shweta grabbed Swati’s hand and asked, “Swati, what was that at the temple? Do you love each other?”

“Don’t talk nonsense, Shweta. I don’t love Shivaay at all. I don’t love any guy. I’ve told you before that I’m not interested in marriage or love, not at all. And as for him, whatever he thinks is his problem, his headache, not mine. Anyway, I’m running late. I need to get to the shop before the staff makes a scene.”

With that, Swati grabbed her bag and left quickly.

Shweta watched her leave, thinking to herself, “Swati, I don’t believe what you’re saying. I think there’s more to this than you’re letting on.”

Meanwhile, Shivaay arrived back at the mansion with the priest. Seeing him, Anokhi asked, “Did you come back alone?”

“Alone? I brought the priest along as I was told,” Shivaay said, gesturing toward the priest.

Anokhi responded, “I wasn’t talking about the priest. I’m asking about Omi Bhaiya. Where is he?”

“How would I know? He didn’t go with me,” Shivaay shrugged.

Hearing Shivaay, Anokhi's face fell. She made a pout and called Omkar. When Omkar picked up the phone, Anokhi said angrily, "Omi Bhaiya, where are you? Where did you disappear?"

"I'm home, turn around," Omkar said.

Both of them turned around, and Omkar was standing there with a small box in his hand, and behind him, two men were holding a large gift box. Everyone's eyes widened; the gift box was truly huge.

Anokhi said in surprise, "Bhaiya, I knew you were going to get a gift for me, but I didn't expect you to bring such a big gift."

Omkar smiled and sat on the sofa, saying, "Now come on, start tying Rakhi quickly."

After that, Anokhi, Shivaay, and Omkar went inside and came out with the Rakhi plate, the Aarti plate, and the sweets plate in their hands. First, Shivika tied a Rakhi to Shivaay, then Riya tied Rakhis to Rishabh and Rohit.

Now it was Anokhi's turn. Everyone was waiting for her to start, but she stood there, looking at the Rakhi, lost in thought.

"What happened, Anokhi? Why aren't you tying the Rakhi? Don't you want the gift?" Shobha asked with a smile.

Anokhi looked at her, her eyes slightly teary. Seeing this, everyone's smiles faded.

Anokhi said, "This is my first Raksha Bandhan. I'm tying Rakhi to my brothers for the first time."

Hearing this, everyone became emotional and looked at her. Then Anokhi looked at everyone and said, "Am I your on-off switch? When I smile, you all smile, and when I get sad, you all get sad too. If I'm sad, you all should try to cheer me up, but instead, you get sad yourselves, and then I have to make you happy. That's not how it works."

As she said this, everyone started smiling. She really was their on-off switch.

Just then, Vikram put his wrist forward, "Come on, stop talking too much and tie the Rakhi quickly. Look, my wrist is looing for it."

"Why? She will tie it to me first, right Anokhi?" Hardik said.

But Vikram replied, "She will tie according to age. I'm the eldest, and for the first time, I’m happy to be elder."

Vikram grinned, and Anokhi burst out laughing. She tied the Rakhi to Vikram first, then to Hardik, and then to Praveen.

After that, she looked at Rohit, Shivaay, and Omkar.

Omkar said, "Tie it to these two first."

Following his words, Anokhi tied Rakhi to Shivaay, then to Rohit.

Finally, Anokhi came to Omkar, but instead of offering his wrist, Omkar handed her the small box.

Anokhi said, "Bhaiya, let me tie the Rakhi first. You're giving me the gift already?"

"This isn't for you; it's for me. Open it and see," Omkar said.

Everyone was a bit confused. Anokhi opened the box and her eyes widened in surprise. Inside were many Rakhis, some of them very old.

Anokhi looked at them in amazement, and Omkar said to her, "These are 20 years' worth of Rakhis that I bought every year for Raksha Bandhan, but every year they stayed locked inside this box. But today, I want all these Rakhis to be freed from this box and come onto my wrist, tied by the hands for whom I used to buy them."

Hearing Omkar's words, tears welled up in Anokhi's eyes, and everyone else became emotional too. Archana also looked at her two children with teary eyes.

Anokhi picked up one of the Rakhis from the box, the oldest one. It had turned slightly black with age.

Omkar said, "I bought this the year you were born. Every year, I thought I’d come to you, but somehow, I couldn’t gather the courage. Sorry, Anu."

"Don’t say sorry, or else I’ll tie all these Rakhis to your face instead of your wrist," Anokhi said while crying.

Omkar started laughing.

Anokhi then tied each of the 21 Rakhis on Omkar's wrist, one by one. His hand was completely covered, and along with his wrist, everyone’s eyes were filled with tears too.

Just then, Omkar stood up and walked over to the big gift box. When he opened it, a bunch of gifts spilled out, and inside was a giant teddy bear.

Omkar made Anokhi sit on the sofa and placed all the gifts one by one around her and on the table in front of her, then he knelt down in front of her.

He took out a small box from the pile and handed it to Anokhi.

When Anokhi opened the box, it contained many balloons with different cartoon characters.

Omkar said, "When Maa was pregnant, I heard from my friend in school that he would tie balloons to his little sister’s feet, and when she moved her tiny feet, the balloons would sway, making her very happy. From that moment, I decided I’d do the same for my little sister and bring her lots of balloons, which would make her very happy. This was your first Rakhi gift."

Anokhi took the balloons out and looked at them. There were various cartoon characters—Doraemon, Shin-chan, Chhota Bheem, Oggy and the Cockroaches, and so many more. Seeing this brought a smile to her tear-streaked face.

Omkar handed her another box.

Anokhi opened it to find a remote-control car. She looked at Omkar with teary eyes and asked, "Did you bring this toy for me when I was little? But it's a boy's toy!"

Omkar smiled and said, "Yes, it was for you, so you could become my toy. I wanted to set the car in motion when you started crawling, so you would chase it around."

Then he handed her a third box, which contained a silver anklet with many tiny bells.

Omkar gently held Anokhi's face and said, "This was your third gift. I wanted you to wear this anklet when you took your first small steps so that its sound would echo throughout the house. But I never had the courage to give it to you."

Like this, Omkar gave her around 21 gifts, each connected to memories from her childhood.

Among the gifts, Anokhi found a rolled-up paper. When she opened it, she saw it was a hospital paper, and the second paper was for a visa and passport application. Seeing this, Anokhi looked at Omkar.

Omkar said, "I wanted to give this to you on your 18th birthday, Anokhi. I had decided that year when I went to play the international match, I would return and come to you. I planned to apologize to you and get your treatment done. I couldn't accept that man's money for you, so I worked very hard. I decided that I would earn the money myself and get your treatment done at a good hospital. I even spoke to a hospital in New York. I had decided I would take you to New York. But by the time I returned, you had already left me."

Hearing this, Anokhi couldn't hold back anymore. She hugged Omkar and cried her heart out. Through her sobs, she said, "Bhaiya, Bhaiya, you don’t need to feel guilty. Bhaiya, I know you're a very good brother to me. You love me very much. I already knew this when you quietly took care of me.

"But if I had gathered a little more courage, we could have lived these moments together," Omkar said with teary eyes. Anokhi wiped his tears and replied, "So what? We can still live these moments now, right? You can give me all the gifts, and I will wear them all. But please, don’t be sad. I don’t want to see anyone sad anymore. Let go of the guilt you’re carrying for me. I swear I’m not angry with you, nor am I upset with you."

Anokhi said this, and Omkar lovingly kissed her forehead and pulled her into his embrace. Everyone's eyes were filled with tears. Seeing the love between the brother and sister, Vikram smiled at Omkar and thought to himself, "You were a good brother before, Omkar, and now you've become an even better one."

Even Archana's eyes were filled with tears. Shobha held her shoulders and said, "Don't worry. Our children are very sensible. They know how to take care of themselves and others."

Hearing this, Archana smiled and nodded. At that moment, Omkar wiped his tears and began wiping Anokhi's tears as well. Then he picked up the small anklet and, holding it in front of Anokhi, said, "Everything else is fine, but tell me, what will you do with these shoes and anklets? Neither the shoes will fit you, nor will the anklets."

Anokhi looked at the two gifts and made a face, but then an idea came to her mind, and a big smile appeared on her lips. She quickly grabbed the anklets and wore them on her wrists like bracelets. She shook her hands and said, "Look, I have anklets now!"

Her action made everyone laugh. But Omkar, holding up the shoes, asked, "And where will you wear these shoes, madam?"

Anokhi looked from Omkar to Vikram with a pout. She handed the shoes back to Omkar and said, "You take these home and put them on your dog. When he walks, they’ll make a sound."

Saying this, Anokhi burst into laughter, and Omkar clutched his head. Then Anokhi got up and walked over to the big teddy bear. The teddy bear was actually bigger than Anokhi herself.

Anokhi hugged it and said, "And this is the best gift of all! So soft! Thank you so much, Omi Bhaiya."

Seeing Anokhi hug the giant teddy bear, everyone was smiling, except Rishabh. He wasn't smiling at all. In fact, he was glaring at the teddy bear as if it wasn’t a toy but a person, and Anokhi was hugging it instead of him.

Unable to control himself, he stood up, quickly separated Anokhi from the teddy bear, and said, "That’s enough, are you planning to eat it?"

"Eat it? It’s not a cupcake that I can just gobble up. And teddy bears are meant for hugging," she said as she was about to hug the teddy bear again.

But as Rishabh saw her open arms reaching for the teddy bear, he grabbed her and hugged her instead, saying, "No need to hug the teddy bear. If you feel like hugging, hug me."

At this, Anokhi was flustered, and everyone else was smiling, watching Rishabh. Vikram commented, "Wow, I just realized how much of a jealous guy you are!"

Meanwhile, Omkar said, "Looks like I gave the wrong gift, bro!"

Anokhi, pulling her hand away from Rishabh's grip, softly said, "Rishabh ji, what are you doing? Let go of my hand, everyone’s watching. Don’t you feel even a bit ashamed?"

Rishabh replied, "And what about you? Hugging someone else in front of me? Remember, I’ve only hugged you. If you hug that teddy bear again, I’ll do a lot more in front of everyone."

Although Rishabh whispered this into Anokhi’s ear, which no one else heard, her flushed face made it clear to everyone what Rishabh might have said.

Anokhi, freeing her hand from Rishabh’s grip, changed the subject and said, "Alright, everyone, now give me your gifts!"

"Bhai, Princess, now your brother has brought you so many gifts, such amazing ones that even our biggest gift will be nothing in front of these. So, what will you do with our gift?" Vikram said, and Anokhi, placing her hands on her waist, narrowed her eyes and glared at him, saying, " Bhaiya, how can you say that? So mean of you! It means you want to take my gift? You have your eyes on it? Trying to claim it directly! I don't want to hear any excuses, give me my gift now!"

Anokhi gestured with her hands to give the gift, making everyone laugh. Vikram came closer, pinched her cheek, and said, "How can I claim your gift?"

"Listen," Vikram said, whispering something in Anokhi's ear, which made her eyes sparkle with joy. She said excitedly, "Really, Bhaiya?"

"Yes," Vikram confirmed, and Anokhi hugged him tightly, saying, "Thank you so much."

"What did he say that made you so happy?" Surekha asked. Anokhi, still hugging Vikram, smiled at everyone and said, "Vikram Bhaiya is going to take me to Disneyland!"

Hearing this, everyone smiled. Similarly, Praveen gifted Anokhi diamond earrings, Hardik gave her a beautiful bag, and Shivaay gifted her a car. Twirling the car keys around her fingers, Anokhi said, "Now I will go to college in this car."

Just then, Rohit said, "Oh man, Shivaay, you got a car? You should have told me!"

"What do you mean?" Shivaay asked. Rohit showed him another key, saying, "Because I also bought a car for Bhabhi."

"What? Two cars?" Anokhi said and took the other key from Rohit's hand too.

At that moment, Riya and Shivika placed their hands on their waists, glaring at everyone, and said, "Now that you've given a gift to your new sister, don't forget about us, your old sisters. Give us our gifts too!"

Both said this, making Rishabh, Rohit, and Shivaay smile. As Rishabh had promised, he gifted Ria an exclusive designer set, which made her very happy. Anokhi said, "Riya Bhabhi, I designed this, and it's the only one in the world, just for you."

Rohit gifted Riya the same car that he had given to Anokhi. Then Shivaay, holding a jewelry box, approached Shivika and handed it to her, saying, "Here, this is your gift."

Shivika opened it and saw old-fashioned anklets inside. Seeing them, her eyes welled up with tears, and she looked at Shivaay.

"You know, Maa had kept these anklets for her daughter-in-law, but I know how much you liked them. You never asked because you knew we would give them to you easily. But now, I want you to wear these at your wedding so that Maa's blessings will be with you at that moment."

Shivika hugged him tightly, saying with a choked voice, "Thank you so much, Shivaay. This is the best gift I've ever received."

Seeing them, everyone smiled.

"Now, is everyone's Raksha Bandhan complete?" Shobha asked. Anokhi quickly replied, "No, it's not over yet."

"Why? What's left now?" Surekha asked. Anokhi said, "Sam Bhaiya is still left. He said he would come a bit late, but now he’s super late. Won't the time for tying the rakhi pass?" Saying this, she started looking at the time.

Just then, Sam entered the mansion, saying, "Oh my Barbie girl, why are you sad? Didn't your Sam Bhaiya say he would come? So look, I'm here!"

Hearing Same's voice, everyone turned to him and smiled. For the first time, Sam was wearing traditional Indian clothes. Seeing him, Anokhi smiled happily and said, "Sam Bhaiya, you look so good in this kurta pajama, really!"

"I know, I look very handsome in every outfit, in every way," Sam said proudly, and they both burst into laughter. Anokhi grabbed his hand, made him sit on the sofa, and quickly tied the rakhi.

Feeding her sweets, Sam said, "Happy Raksha Bandhan, my cutie pie, and this is for you," handing her a box.

Anokhi opened the box happily and found a makeup kit inside. Sam said, "This is the most exclusive makeup kit, made by my company, and it’s really good for your sensitive skin, my darling."

"But Bhaiya, I don't even wear makeup," Anokhi asked innocently. Same pinched her cheek and said, "I know, but I've heard you're getting married to Rishabh again. And now that everyone is getting married, you'll need this for all functions, my sweetheart."

"Okay, then you keep it with you, because you're going to do my makeup, right, my Sam Bhaiya," Anokhi said, handing the makeup kit back to him and pulling his cheeks, mimicking the way he does.

Seeing this, everyone, including Sam, started laughing. And that's how their Raksha Bandhan ended, filled with joy and laughter.

On the other hand,

Swati had arrived at the shop but was unable to focus on work today. She had already made two mistakes. All she could think about was Shivaay. His words had such an impact on her that she couldn't think of anything else.

Just then, the manager came over. Seeing him, Swati became a little nervous. Before the manager could say anything, Swati quickly said, "I’m sorry, sir, I’m really sorry for my mistakes. I’m not feeling well today, that’s why I’m making mistakes. But I will try my best to avoid any more mistakes."

The manager, smiling at her, said, "It’s okay, Swati. I know you don't usually make mistakes; you're a good staff member. If you're not feeling well, you can take half-day leave."

"No sir, I’ll manage, really," Swati insisted.

The manager replied, "It’s okay, Swati, I won’t deduct your salary. You can take leave, take care of yourself, and come back tomorrow with a fresh mood and good health."

Swati smiled at him and left after a while. As she walked away, the manager said, "You won't be working here much longer anyway, Swati," as thoughts of Shivaay crossed his mind.

Seeing the behavior of those two girls, Shivaay had strictly instructed the managers not to misbehave with Swati and to ensure that she faced no trouble. Listening to Shivaay's words, the manager understood that Swati was very important to him. After that, he got back to work.

Swati stepped out of the mall. Checking the time on her watch, she said to herself, "It's time for Shwet to get out of school. I'll pick him up and take him for ice cream." Saying this, she hailed an auto and headed towards Shwet's school.

She stopped the auto near the school, paid the fare, and started walking towards the gate. Just then, she saw a car stop near the school gate, and Abhinav stepped out. A few moments later, Shweta also arrived. Seeing them, Swati hid in a corner.

Shweta, noticing Abhinav, said, "Abhinav, you're here?"

"Yes, it's time for Shwet to get out, so I thought I'd meet him," Abhinav said with a smile, and Shweta smiled back.

Just then, Shwet came out with his school bag. Shweta took his bag and asked with a smile, "How was your day?"

"It was great, maa!" Shwet replied, then his eyes fell on Abhinav. He was surprised for a moment. Abhinav, feeling a bit nervous, knelt down on one knee and, looking at Shwet, said, "How are you, Shwet?"

"I'm great, how are you?" Shwet asked directly, catching Abhinav off guard.

Abhinav smiled. "Shwet is really a sweet kid," he said with a smile. "You're very sweet, Shwet. Swati has really raised you well."

"My Masi Maa is very good. She loves me a lot. Sometimes she gets angry, but she teaches me good things. She always says that whenever someone asks how you're doing, always ask them back, 'How are you?'" Shwet praised Swati, bringing a smile to both Abhinav and Shweta's faces.

Hearing Shwet's words, Swati, hiding in the distance, smiled through her tears. Just then, Abhinav hesitantly said, "Shwet, I wanted to tell you… I’m your father."

"I know, you're my dad," Shwet said, making Abhinav and Shweta look at each other.

Seeing them, Shwet said, "That day when you were all arguing, I understood that you're my dad. That's why Masi maa was so mad at you."

"So, are you mad at me too?" Abhinav asked, waiting for his response. Shweta also looked at Shwet, eager to know how he felt about it.

She had decided to move forward with Abhinav, but Shwet's happiness was equally important to her.

After staying silent for a while, Shwet shook his head and said, "No, I’m not angry with you because I don’t know what your problems were, and I don’t even understand them. All I know is that neither of you nor maa was there, but I accepted maa . Now that you’re here, why would I stay angry with you?"

Hearing this, a big smile appeared on Abhinav’s face. He cupped Shwet’s face in his hands and asked, "So, can you accept me as your father? Can I be your dad?"

Abhinav knew this could be a bit difficult for Shwet, but he wanted to know his answer. Upon hearing the question, Shivaay's face flashed before Shwet’s eyes, and the moments spent with him replayed in his mind. Suddenly, Shivaay’s words echoed in his ears, "Abhinav is a very good person, he’s your biological father. If you stay with him, you will start liking him too."

Slowly, Shwet nodded his head in agreement. Seeing this, Abhinav hugged Shwet tightly. Shweta’s eyes also filled with tears of joy. The confusion in her mind was cleared by Shwet’s response.

Swati was watching the three of them, who looked like a perfect family. After seeing them together, Swati quietly left from there.

Abhinav said, "Come on, let’s go for lunch." With that, the three of them left the place.
