âShut up!â William grabbed Lawrence by the collar and glared at him fiercely. âSheâs not someone you can toy with. If you continue to act recklessly, one day youâll exhaust the last bit of affection she has for you in her heart. I hope when that day comes, you wonât regret it!â
Lawrenceâs face darkened. âWhat do you mean? What do you mean by âwonât regret itâ?â
âCanât you understand? Or are you pretending not to?â William said. âSheâ¦doesnât owe you anything!â
After saying this, William let go of Lawrence and left on his own.
Lawrence stood there, staring at Williamâs back, feeling a sense of unease in his heart.

When William found Mason, Mason had finished his class.
âMason, can we talk?â William said.
Mason glanced at William indifferently. âI donât think we have anything to talk about. If you want to find Jasper, you can call her.â
âI heard you broke up with Sister Veronica, and Jasper is worried about you,â William said.
Mason looked coldly at him. âSince when did you become so nosy?â
âYouâre Jasperâs Mason, so itâs not nosy,â William smiled.
