Bhumi sat there holding his hand firmly, don't know when did she fell asleep on his shoulder.She took a small nap.Sanjay didn't budge an inch, he sat there leaning to the wall and Bhumi is clinging to him in an afraid state.Sanjay looked at her, her face.She looked so tired.He moved a bit, she tightenedg her grip over his hand, He slumped on the floor, succumbing to defeat.He couldn't hear any voice out and it's almost ten minutes, Police must have arrived by this time, they didn't yet?He sat there checking his wristwatch.Suddenly, Bhumi's phone started ringing, she woke up from sleep with a twitch and looked at Sanjay with a frightened face.He rubbed his face with his hand and closed his eyes in irritation.He looked exhausted physically, he needs to sleep, he is bearing all the pain, confusion along with stress.He definitely needs a peaceful sleep, she looked at his dull face, his puffy eyes."Bhaiya" She lifted the call leaving his hand, he quickly shook it.She is holding his hand firmly for the past fifteen minutes, he didn't budge it for a second or so.It surprised her, It did."Are you fine?" Kunal sounded so worried."Rajeev got parole and released from jail, he threatened me he will reach you at any cost." He said hastily, He is truly worried for her, his sister."He tried to attack me, But I am fine, absolutely fine." She mumbled."Oh my god" He shouted on the other side of her phone.Sanjay is still sitting beside her, he is listening to her words calmly without any expression."Where are you? I will come? Are you okay?" Kunal is freaking out and unstoppable."Bhiaya...Bhaiya...I am fine" She shouted which surprised Sanjay.Kunal stopped for a second."I am fine, absolutely fine" She stressed each and every word."Okay, good" Kunal mumbled like a kid."Where are you? I will take you home" This time Kunal asked her in a composed tone."Still in the studio," She said looking at Sanjay. He quickly looked away avoiding her gaze.She felt bad, what happened to him? she wondered."In the studio, means? Is anyone with you? tell me the name, place,  address?""I will come" Kunal repeating the same again and again."Is she fine?" She heard Sukriti's voice from behind."Yes, she is " He answered Sukriti.Bhumi felt happy, they are talking to each other at least."I will message you." Bhumi cooed."Okay, quick, I will come" He looks so stubborn."Okay" She cut the call.She got worried, Now she can't hide anything both the best friends will confront each other.But it has to happen one day.Not now, she convinced her heart."He did this?" Sanjay asked looking at the scar on her hand, it's still healing a part of the wound is still covered with a bandage."Yes," She nodded with a sad face."B*st*rd, Son of a b*tch" Sanjay muttered.Bhumi fluttered her eyes in disbelief.He looked so new, more coarse and a bit vicious too.Still she liked it.But to some extent this angle in him surely frightened her.He is youthful and loutish.Still she felt him devilishly handsome."What's his name?" He asked breaking the chain of her thoughts."Rajeev" She whispered.Why does Sanjay felt he heard his name somewhere?He got confused for a second."Who is he? why is he after you?" Did he ask her? before she could answer properly for the prior question, he asked another one."Who is he? What does he want? Do you have any idea?"Sanjay said looking at her keenly."My brother's rival, he tried to kill my brother." Sanjay listened to her words thinking about, meeting her brother."Oh!"He nodded.They both are still sitting on the floor and Bhumi is not at all leaving him, she is clasping her hand with him.She is trying for Kunal but she didn't reach him on the phone.Sanjay thought to call either Neeraj or Kunal for help.His luck, It got connected to Neeraj and he lifted it hastily for the first ring itself."I am coming, don't worry"It was his answer, Sanjay got surprised how could he know what just happened.He didn't say a single word."We are on the way" This time Sanjay heard Kunal's voice."Okay" He felt suspicious.He didn't inform either of his friends.He looked at Bhumi is who is still resting her head on his shoulder in light slumber."Where did he hear the name, Rajeev?"He is trying to remember, recollect the things.He is missing the link."Bhumi" He spoke slowly."Hu..." She hummed."Who is your brother," He asked her shaking her a bit."What?." She stuttered"Who is your brother, his name?" He asked again.She looked into his eyes with a pale face, he got suspicious."Sanjay?""Bhumi?" They heard a few voices.And he knows who they are?"Sanjay" Kunal is trying hard to open the door.They saw Rajeev on the floor wiggling with some injuries, He is alive but couldn't move anywhere."Bhumi" Kunal called her this time.Bhumi's heartbeat just raised.She knows well, her pretty secret will be revealed one way or another.But not like this.Now, there is a higher chance, Sanjay may misunderstand her, for hiding it from him.She wanted to reveal it after having a proper talk with Kunal.She closed her eyes, but she can feel the intense gaze of Sanjay.He felt deceived for a moment.This girl knows him, still, she kept her identity a secret."This is not fair Bhumi" Sanjay spoke breaking her heart into pieces.This is what she feared.This is her worst nightmare.She is partially responsible for it.She wanted something else that happened extremely opposite.What can she do except chuckle at her situation?Somehow they managed to open the door.The police came and they are talking with Neeraj, he already asked protection for Brother and sister duo.But they wanted Sanjay to appear at the Police station.Kunal walked to Sanjay and hugged him.They didn't talk properly for a week.This time they both broke the silence.Kunal knows Sanjay will get hurt if he thanks formally, Sanjay felt happy at least they patched up."You didn't tell me?" Kunal asked Bhumi.She didn't expect this from him.Now they both are fine with it and they both are accusing her.What's the hell, She cursed her dimwit?They are friends they can patch up so easily and now it's her turn to suffer.Neeraj has already warned her about this, but she didn't pay them to heed, now she is paying for it.Neeraj sensed what his friends thinking, He badly wanted to clear the misunderstanding.This is what he stressed.They may unknowingly hurt her, her intentions.Neeraj was the one who informed Kunal about Rajeev and his Parole.They both sensed he will attack Bhumi as he felt she is the one who missed his plan.Making it true, Kunal got a call from him, he is threatened him on the phone attacking Bhumi and laughed like a manic.Kunal got panic and called Neeraj for Police help.Neeraj came to know she is the studio and by the address, she sent to Kunal, he came to know it's Sanjay. Bhumi is working for Sanjay.Kunal felt bad, Did she know who is Sanjay if yes, why to hide things?He didn't lift any of her calls, he knows his anger, it may hurt her, he can blurt something which will create a rift in their relationship.Sanjay came to know who is Rajeev now, it's about him Neeraj was talking about on the day these two friends had a word with each other.He too knows Kunal has a step-sister but never imagined Bhumi will be the one.Bhumi basically doesn't know how to react, even if she hides the things what their problem?May be she doesn't know who they are actually?May be she doesn't know the fact that they are friends?What's just happening?How can they both accuse her?Okay, let's think they didn't accuse her but why are posing some absurd questions to her.She sighed and walked away from there, Neeraj simply followed her.This just surprised both Kunal, Sanjay.They heard Neeraj cursing them both something so horrible.To be continued...Please vote and commentPlease let me know how it isThank youTake care.
