Aiden and I finally went back to the territory that we had just recently acquired, I had targeted it for a long because it was large, on a good outskirts, and no doubt going to be good for a branch of my

But the more we drove closer to the gate, everything seemed strange, I could smell it from afar, the hairs on my skin strained up, my eyes flickered red, and I knew something wasn’t right.

“Aiden stop the car! Right now!!” I roared and he stepped on the brake forcefully. “Your majesty, what is it?”

“Everything doesn’t feel right, I smell blood, get of the car and let go inside by foot, I need to be able to ascertain the danger ahead on time” I ordered, Aiden immediately tugged off his seat belt and alighted from the car, we both had a cautious look on our face while sneaking in through the woods.

“You are right Sire, no one is at the gate, that isn’t supposed to be” He noticed the moment that we were at the gate but as we swung the gate open, there were the corpses of two of my wolves on the floor, their skin spattered on the floor.

“Call for a meeting for all the Alphas of the five packs, alert them that there is danger and they should all be at my pack house by noon tomorrow”

“What about this place, no doubt this is a warning telling us that they have taken over this territory”

“No on my watch, no one dares challenge the Lycan king and live to tell of it, surround this place with some traps and a spy, I want to be alerted of when they make a move, that way I can be sure to act!!

“Is that necessary?”

“As I said, it is a surprise, I need you to be amazed” She explained and I groaned before yielding to her demand.

“Open up!” She ordered and when I opened my eyes, I could feel my Lycan growl. There was a large painted album of me on the floor in my Lycan form, but what amazed me and made me furious at the same time was her ability to capture the beast in me, my eyes glowing red and ant image of the beast could be clearly seen breathneath my Lycan.

“Chloe what the hell. Is this, why would you draw something like this?”

“Because it was the moment of you that I loved the most, that moment when you were in your Lycan form and you saved me from my mother, you listened to my voice and you got me out of there, I want to remember that moment every day of my life”
