Chapter 3 The Master Came after Her Servant was Beaten

Yu Chun gave two slaps on the face of Granny Wang. Though she didn’t understand when her timid lady became so bold, she knew it was a good time to teach her a lesson.

Yu Chun used as much strength as Qu Moying did. Granny Wang was knocked flat. After collecting herself, she shrieked crazily, “Beat them to death!”

Granny Wang had never been humiliated like this. She was slapped by the Fourth Lady that she looked down upon most.

Who didn’t look down upon the Fourth Lady in the mansion? She usually lived in a village, and she was blind and solitary. She didn’t look like a young girl at all. Never talked to others, she always lowered her head. Others could only see the top of her head. However, she dared to ask her servant girl to slap Granny Wang. How embarrassing!

The other two senior housemaids coming with Granny Wang intended to walk forward.

Qu Moying gave an angry glance at them through the veil and laughed coldly, “Who dares to touch me with your dirty hands?”

She was Ji Hanyue as well as Qu Moying!

The wide veil covered her eyes and most of her face, so her face couldn’t be seen clearly. However, it could be seen that she pressed her red lips tightly and lifted her head high. Her coldness scared everyone there.

When did the gloomy, solitary, and timid lady have such an imposing manner?

“Who…who are you?” Granny Wang was startled and panic-stricken. Shivering with cold, she asked subconsciously.

Was the girl with an imposing manner the Fourth Lady who used to keep silent and lower her head?

“You just cursed me to be blind, didn’t you? Don’t you know me now?” Qu Moying said coldly. Her voice used to be soft, but now it sounded chilly.

It sent a chill through Granny Wang. She swallowed and rolled her eyes to both sides. She didn’t want to reconcile herself to the fact that she was slapped by the weak and blind girl, but she felt scared at the same time. Therefore, she gave a hollow laugh to disguise her panic and said in a soft voice, “My Lady, I came to help you put out the fire. Why did you slap me? How ungrateful you are!”

Ungrateful? Qu Moying sneered in the heart. Her mother died early. Her father just listened to Yu and ignored the first daughter born of his ex-wife. Moreover, because she was blind, she was sent to a village. She had lived there for over ten years. Who remembered her in the family except for the Old Lady?

Without the Old Lady, no one would remember her even if she died in the village.

It was understandable that a girl who grew up in this way would be solitary and gloomy! She even didn’t want to speak!

Qu Moying pushed Yu Chun away who was standing in front of her, stood opposite Granny Wang, and looked coldly at the latter through the wide veil.

With effective treatment, her eyes became better now. They were being nursed back to health and were not accustomed to strong light, so she usually covered her face with a veil.

“My Lady…what…what are you going to do…” When Qu Moying approached, Granny Wang became scared.

“Get on your knees!” Qu Moying ordered.

“Wh..what?” Granny Wang thought she misheard, so she asked while staring at Qu Moying with her eyes wide open.

Qu Moying reached out her foot and kicked the thick legs of Granny Wang.

No one had expected that Qu Moying would kick her, so they were all surprised, let alone Granny Wang. After being kicked, she took several steps back, bumped into the wall behind her, produced a large sound, and then fell to the ground. She couldn’t collect herself this time.

“You don’t want to kneel, do you?” Qu Moying walked closer, and it seemed that she stepped on Granny Wang’s heart each time she moved.

A chill came over Granny Wang. She came to her senses suddenly and screamed, “My Lady, I am sent here by the Second Madam to put out the fire for you. How can you treat me in this way? You’ll make me a ghost with a grievance.”

Then Granny Wang began to wail on the ground and made a scene.

Qu Moying’s house was remote, but after the fire broke out, lots of people came here to put it out. Seeing the scene, they were astonished, wondering what was going on.

Some of them doubted whether the girl standing in the middle with an imposing manner was the Fourth Lady living outside. Qu Moying was just back for a few days, so many servants hadn’t seen her.

They just heard that she was weak, incapable, and blind.

“It’s ominous to talk about the ghost! What’s going on? Why does it develop in this way?” Someone said in a soft voice behind the crowd.

Qu Moying looked up through the veil and saw Yu entering with servants clustering around her like the moon surrounded by a myriad of stars. She smiled silently. Sure enough, after Granny Wang was beaten, her master couldn’t stand by any longer!

Yu just came in time! Qu Moying had predicted that once Granny Wang was beaten, her master couldn’t stand by any longer.

Qu Moying had to rise in the Qu Family within the shortest time. Only in this way could she spare time to investigate what happened to the Ji Family…

No one knew that the fighting scene had been noticed by someone with an ulterior motive!

On the eaves of a high building in the Qu Family, a man was standing with his hands behind his back. His black cloak couldn’t be seen clearly in the dark.

Inside the cloak, he wore a purple brocade robe, and his collar was embroidered with a pattern of a dark purple iris, which was clear and unique and made him look weird and quirky. With slanted eyes, he lifted his eyebrows and watched what happened in the backyard of the Qu Family with great interest.

The strangest thing was that he wore a tiny earring. As a result, it was difficult to tell whether he was a man or a woman from his good-looking face. No one dared to look at him directly because of his weird feeling and cold eyes.

He was born with nobility and laziness. The two features were contradictory but harmonious on him with no reason, which became a strange charm of him!

Two guards in black stood behind him and followed him closely!
