Chapter 16 Too Much Drama

Qu Moying ran into Granny Miao near Furong House.

Granny Miao had been showing Medical Officer Zhang around for a while. As she saw Qu Moying, she brought him to the latter excitedly at once. Then they walked into Furong House together.

As they just stepped into the yard, they heard someone shouting abuse. A keen-eyed maid went into the room to report their arrival at once.

“That bitch is here? Let her in!” Qu Qiuyan’s voice came from inside the room.

Medical Officer Zhang frowned.

The maid who had delivered the message walked out in a hurry. After she arrived at the door, she glanced at Qu Moying and lifted the curtain, saying in a sarcastic tone, “Fourth Lady, you are so busy. It took you so long to get here. Third Lady told you to get in!”

The maids who served Qu Qiuyan never respected Qu Moying, thus this maid also looked down upon Medical Officer Zhang who followed Qu Moying. After all, those doctors who had come today were all driven out after being cursed by Second Madam Qu and Qu Qiuyan.

The maid didn’t believe this doctor would be of any help!

As Qu Moying stepped into the room, she turned sideways by the door to dodge a cup of hot tea that was thrown at her.

The flying hot tea and tea leaves didn’t touch Qu Moying at all.

But Medical Officer Zhang who walked behind her was not as lucky as her. The teacup hit right on his chest and his clothes were soaked with hot water. Fortunately, it was in early spring, so people were all wearing extra layers. Even so, Medical Officer Zhang still changed the look on his face.

Behind the table in the room sat Qu Qiuyan. Today she was wearing a light brown dress with peony patterns and a large veil covering her face, only her two malicious eyes were exposed. As she saw Qu Moying walking in, she lifted her eyebrows without looking at Medical Officer Zhang who was in a mess.

“Qu Moying, you bitch, how dare you dodge it?!”

Qu Qiuyan roared while thumping on the table with goggling eyes.

“You guys, push this bitch in the pond to shake some sense into her!”

Yu and Qu Qiuyan had discussed this. As long as Qu Moying showed up, Qu Qiuyan would send someone to push her into the pond behind the yard.

The winter had just gone, and the mud in the pond hadn’t been cleaned up. The water in the pond was rather dirty now, not to mention Yu had ordered someone to spread lime into the pond. As long as Qu Moying was pressed under the water, her eyes would be destroyed.

Of course, what Qu Qiuyan wanted to destroy was not only her eyes but also her face. Even if Qu Moying’s face was covered with a veil, Qu Qiuyan still felt threatened. So she had to ruin Qu Moying’s face.

Two senior housemaids who had been waiting there came over at once and tried to grab Qu Moying.

Granny Miao and Yu Chun hurried forward to stop them, but other maids and senior housemaids seemed to be ready to come over. Because their Second Madam told them that the Third Lady could do whatever she wanted to do and that getting angry would make it harder for her to get rid of the pimples.

If they made their Third Lady happy, they would be rewarded. If they made her angry, they would be sold or beaten to death.

Qu Moying had known Yu and Qu Qiuyan would plot something against her. She raised her head with a fierce look in her eyes and glanced slowly over these people, snorting, “Third sister, I invited a doctor for you. What did you mean by saying that?”

The lofty and calm look on her face surprised everyone. The maids and senior housemaids didn’t dare to touch her. After they looked at each other, they could only wait for Qu Qiuyan to give the order. After all, they still felt a bit panicky to deal with a lady who got Old Lady Qu’s support!

“I don’t believe you’ll be so kind, you bitch! You have put me through this! And now you are just being a hypocrite and want to watch the show. I’ll break your legs, rip your face and throw you into the pond. I’ll see if you dare to do that to me again.” Qu Qiuyan swore horribly.

If Qu Moying was thrown into the pond after her face was ripped, her face would be disfigured.

Yu told Qu Qiuyan that the harsher her words were, the better.

Because if so, Qu Moying’s grandma wouldn’t do anything to her. After all, she thought that Qu Moying was the one who ruined her face. It was reasonable for her to lose control!

“Third sister, Medical Officer Zhang is a great doctor. You should let him check on you!” Qu Moying said calmly with an indifferent look as if she was not the one Qu Qiuyan had cursed.

The light green dress that Qu Moying wore was not as high-end as Qu Qiuyan’s, but the look on her face showed that she was the real lady from a noble family, when compared to Qu Qiuyan’s ferocious look.

And now Officer Zhang only felt that Third Lady Qu who was sitting in the room seemed uglier and more malicious.

“Qu Moying, what kind of doctor did you invite? A lame quack? I don’t care whom you invited here today.” Qu Qiuyan didn’t even look at Medical Officer Zhang whose face was taut with anger and continued to shout abuse.

“My face will never recover, and yours will be ruined too. I’ll destroy your face soon. You’ll be a blind and ugly bitch forever.”

Qu Qiuyan wished she could press Qu Moying’s head into the pond by herself. Her mother told her that even a normal person’s eyes couldn’t withstand the water in the pond, not to mention that Qu Moying was nearly blind.

Hearing those spiteful words, Medical Officer Zhang who had got in for a while finally couldn’t hold it anymore. With a cold look on his face, he shot a cruel glance to Qu Qiuyan while saying to Qu Moying,

“Since Third Lady Qu doesn’t want to be treated, I won’t check on her then. I still have something to do in the royal palace. Farewell, Fourth Lady!”

“Medical Officer Zhang, wait a moment. Since you already came, please take a look at my third sister!” Qu Moying stopped him.

“Third Lady Qu is in great condition. Such a vigorous girl doesn’t need any treatment.” Medical Officer Zhang said with an irritable voice. He had thought that what Qu Moying had asked was not a big deal. Therefore, he had come because he liked the painting a lot. Never did he realize that he would run into such a shrew, or to be more precise, a vicious shrew.

What she had just said was unreasonable!

Medical Officer Zhang had treated a lot of the nobles from the royal family, but never had he seen such a malicious girl.

His and Qu Moying’s voices weren’t loud, but Qu Qiuyan heard the entire conversation. After that, her expression had changed. She stopped goggling and looked to Medical Officer Zhang for the first time, saying with a nervous voice, n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
