The hotel is a legitimate business front for the money laundering operations the brothers run. By owning hotel branches around the world, including in Jamaica, they can funnel drug money or profits from illegal activities through the hotelâs financial transactions. This would help them legitimize their operations and avoid suspicion.
The hotel is also be used to hide shipments of guns, drugs, and sometimes marijuana. For example, shipments might arrive at the hotel disguised as "special packages" for VIP guests or hidden in the hotelâs supply chain (laundry, room service, ) which was one Amari saw.
Dominic thought the hotelâs location in Jamaica could be an ideal place for moving products between territories, especially if the island serves as a key hub in the drug trade.
They used the hotel as a strategic meeting point for cartel members, arms dealers, and other local criminal groups. They would host high-profile, discreet meetings with partners or clients while keeping their illegal dealings under the radar. The luxury aspect could make it a more private, secure location for these sorts of meetings, which their father (the old mafia boss)Â have set up as a legacy.
Dominic also thought that Jamaica could be a strategic location for the operations due to the island is a key point in global drug trade routes, and having a hotel in a prime area (like Montego Bay and Kingston) could serve both business and criminal purposes. The hotel is a part of a larger international network that they allow someone to manage, giving them the cover of legitimate operations while facilitating illegal trade.
Mexican and South American cartels, as well as Middle Eastern groups, have been heavily involved in the smuggling and distribution of both guns and drugs. In some cases, cartels will trade weapons for drugs or money, creating a cycle of violence and trafficking.
The demand for firearms usually comes from organized crime groups, political insurgents, or militia groups. These buyers are often located in conflict zones or areas of high drug trafficking hence why Dominic stops by see how things were going.
Guns can be moved by air (in private jets), sea (on cargo ships), or land (in trucks with hidden compartments). With maritime routes being more difficult to track, this is a popular method. Sometimes he would use tunnels under borders, or sometimes they might be hidden in legitimate goods like clothing, electronics, or construction materials. It would be easier to see how things undergo at the hotel since that's where people originally stays, afterall it's a guest house. Nobody will find out, and even if they do; it's a dog eat dog world.
Except that won't happened with Amari. He saw the way she rushed out of the Hotel, just the moment he got a message from His brother telling him that an escape is an the loose.
He didn't know that it would be her.
Is he getting weak for beauty? No, that's not it because he has seen many beautiful ladies since he's been to Jamaica, he has been visiting every month for the past three years, until he lessens his time. He's traveled even to China for business. Oh Yes, he had seen enough women.
What's so special about this one?
Is it the way that she meets the gaze with confidence yet looks so timid?
She looks like the submissive type, the one that would say yes to him Everytime. The one that would please him.
"Huh?" He asked, removing a hand of his pocket, he lift her cheek.
"No- I, no, I don't think so, no, we don't know each other, sorry."
"Then why does it feels like we've met before?" It felt like a familiar energy, yet still he couldn't place his finger on it.
Even her lips looks like something he would kiss every morning and he's not much of a kisser. He likes to fuck, and that's much to it. He doesn't see it nessacary to attach deep feelings of emotions to his life, because it has never bought him anywhere.
"I, don't know, I- hum, I just should get going now."
"You haven't given me a name."
"Wah yuh wah do wid me name?"
He chuckles lowly, without humor, not even his eyes smiles.
"Principessa, unfortunately I Don't like people who talks to me in a language I don't understand," He could circles around her again and saw her shiver. Exciting.
"What do you want with my name?"
"Do you normally shiver like that when you climax?"
He watches her mouth slightly open before she got a hold of herself. Interesting, she's a woman with control. What a huge difference, he has yet to meet a woman who didn't succumbed to him the moment something sexual comes from his mouth.
"I would rather not discuss that information with you. By the way the name is Amari Jackson."
"Are you afraid of me, principessa? If you do, don't be, I only bite...with pleasure."
He's lustful and he knows, but it's hard chaining a beast that knows what he wants.
He grabs her under the neck and her knees buckled. "Amari Jackson, a man's name for a rare jewel."
"I'm in a relationship," She blurts out.
He squints his eyes before stepping back. Normally he wouldn't care if the woman was married to the president, if she's mature, old enough, wears a pussy and wants him, he never hesitated to fuck. Somehow he wants to do right by her, he wants to handle her with care.
"Mr Romano, sir-" Blakes rushes up to them, but stopped short when he saw Amari's face. She steps closer to Dominic and hugs her handbag.
"You-" Blakes began.
"Please, please, I have a daughter, please. I have a daughter," Amari finally breaks down and cried. Her hands shook at her situation.
"Sai cosa succede ai traditori, Blake? Un altro passo e ti schiaccio come un insetto."( Do you know what happens to traitors, Blake? One more step and I'll crush you like a insect)
Dominic steps forward and say. He lifts a crying Amari in arms and walks towards his car.
Their cars were remaining in the parking lot a little distance from them, Amari's door still remains open and so he closes it for her, places her in his car and drove off.
Would he goes against his brother for a woman he barely knows? Family sticks together, but this time he's willing to risk it all.
"Where are you taking me to?" Amari voice cracks.
"Call Ashton," He said.
"Calling Ashton," The car responded.
"Yes, Boss?"
"Get to the hotel, and get that car. Ask Blake to tell you which one it is. Bring it to my place and leave it there."
"Yes, Boss."
"Iâm askinâ you... where yuh takinâ me? If yuh did waan kill me, yuh shoulda jusâ do it already. Mi cyaa believe seh dis a mi life now... like seh mi stuck inna one nightmare. Fada God, mi beg yuh, wake mi up. Please, God, mi cyaa manage dis no more."
Amari's voice, cracks and she started crying again.
He watched her through the rear view mirror and his heart felt sad. Is it her dialect that causes such emotions in him ?
"I don't quite understand what you are saying, but God doesn't involves himself in these situations, or did he? I'm bringing you home, quit crying."
She lifted her neck quickly.
"Tap e car, listen to me, stop the car, you can't take me to my man's house."
"Why not? There's nothing to worry about, calm down," His English and Italian accent blended together.
"Lawd God, mi nuh need fi tell yuh seh mi a JamaicanâJamaica a mi bloodline, But yuh see di man dem? Jamaican man can act real fool-fool sometimes. Yuh feel mi? Like, is yuh even overstanding mi words right now?"
"Jamaican? Your accent is slightly different, I can hear US, Atlanta and few other places. Care to share?"
She shooks her head and wiped miserable at her tears.
He could see her desperation, but it didn't matter to him. He wants to meet that man that is holding her.
He wants to see what douche bag she's dealing with.
His face remains without emotions and his death stare, went back to the road.
"Culture doesn't have anything on humanity. If he treats you like shit for a man to bring you home half drunk, then he's shit. "
"You don't understand."
"Nor do I care to understand. Why is his queen at a hotel in the middle of the night? What man would allow his girlfriend to that? I take it you aren't married to this guy, I haven't seen a ring. Yet still you are in a hotel, it's morning. What kind of asshole are you fucking, principessa?"
He haven't open his mouth like that in weeks. He hates talking for too long, but it irritates him, by just the thought of it. He grips the steering wheel and his knuckles grew white.
"Do you know that you could have died tonight? Your body would turn to dust leaving you as a skeleton, that would be shipped across and fried to a dog," He speaks with absolute disgust.
Her eyes widen from her head and she blingy grabs at the door, but he quickly locked her in.
"If I wanted you dead, it would be quite easy, am not the one you should be afraid of, be afraid of my brother that has his men hunting for your head."
Her eyes went wider like saucer and she grips her thigh as anxiety tires to creep in. He could see it, from her body language.
"How, how do you, know where I live?" Her voice trembles.
"That's a question for another day, don't you think?" He remembered where he saw her, he's sure if it. This is the second time he's seeing this woman and she has done something to him.
He pulls over at her house, removes a gold gun from his back and removes it from safety.
He helps her out of the car and walked up to the gate and the Varanda.
Her legs steps woobly and he lifts her up and just then the door opens.
"Weh di fuck a gwaan yah so?" Cals asked.
He steps aside him and walked to place her on a sofa.
"Weh di bloodclaat dis? Oyi, a who you humbre?" Cals asked. His furious expression livid.
"Try and get some sleep," Was Dominic last words, before he glanced at Cals screwing face and walked out. He droves off into night.
