4. Training

My little mate, aria

Aria

It had been two weeks since I hit my head. The pack doctor said it was ok for me to get back to training since my head had healed. "Aria, get dressed," Christian called out to me. "I don't want to go," I stamped my foot on the floor and crossed my arms over my chest. "Come on aria, don't make this even more difficult," he groaned. "I don't wanna go," I said sternly. "Yes you are. You need to train because I won't always be there to protect you," Christian bent down on one knee in front of me. "Are you leaving?" I felt tears fall down my cheeks. "No. No I'm not leaving. But I can't always guarantee to be here when you need me. Aria remember when I told you that you would someday be stronger than me?" He smiled softly at me. "Yeah. But you told me that I had to train to do that," I sighed. "Exactly. So will you please go and get ready?" Christian stuck out his bottom lip. "Ok," I giggled. "Go on little wolf, I'll come up in five minutes," he smiled then I turned and left. When I got to my room, I got out my usual training clothes. There was black leggings and a white vest paired with black trainers. Once I was dressed, there was a knock at my bedroom door. "Come in," i called out. "All decent in here?" Christian walked in with his hand over his eyes. "Yeah. Just need to tie my laces," I replied. "Great. We've got to get going," he quickly tied my shoe laces. "Since I have to do training, can you carry me?" I made my best puppy eyes that he could never say no to. Christian picked me up and let me sit on his shoulders. He jogged to the training area for the pups to fight.

Near the end of the training session, our teacher, got us to pair up and fight. Christian stood to the side and watched us all. Everyone went with their friends while I didn't have a partner. "Aria where's you're partner?" My trainer frowned at me. "Right here," a deep voice rumbled behind me. "Alpha," the trainer and all the other pups bowed their heads. "Aria," Christian gave me a knowing look. "Oh uh. Alpha," I bowed my head. I heard Christian start chuckling. "What?" I said a bit to loudly. "Aria," my trainer scolded. "Yes?" I turned around. "Show the alpha respect. You are a pup after all," she glared at me. "Oh right," I nodded. "Sorry for my behaviour alpha," I bowed my head. "We're not bear for behaviour lessons. Now let's teach these pups to train," Christian smiled trying to hide a laugh.

While we were walking home, Christian was laughing. I was sat on his shoulders again as we headed to the house. "Do I really have to do all that every time I see you?" I whined. "No little wolf. Only when your at training or with any other adults," he chuckled. "It's so annoying though," I rolled my eyes. "Did you hear her though, 'aria show some respect,' that was funny," Christian laughed harder. "Shut up," I hit his head a little. "Hey!" He exclaimed. "What? You brought it upon yourself," I shrugged. "You act like a teenager. I'm dreading them years to come," Christian whined. "I won't be that bad," I defended myself. "Sure little wolf. Whatever you say," he chuckled.

When we got back to the house, Christian ran me a bath while he had a shower himself. Once I was clean, I got out of the bath and went down to the kitchen. "I'm hungry," I called out. "Nice to see you to aria," josh, one of the warriors smiled. Josh, jack and James all sat round the island table. "Nice to see you to, but I'm hungry," I laughed. "Alright. What do you want?" Josh got up and put me on his shoulders. "Bacon," I shouted. "Fine. Just a plate of bacon or do you want it in a sandwich?" Josh asked. "She can have it in a sandwich. A plate of bacon is going to have to wait for another day," Christian walked in the kitchen taking me down from Josh's shoulders. After a while, Josh put a bacon sandwich in front of me as I sat next to Christian and jack. "Thanks little wolf," Christian laughed and took half of my sandwich. A growl escaped my chest and everyone started laughing. "I'm not hungry," I pushed the plate away and stormed to my room.

Around 30 minutes later, there was a knock at my bedroom door. "Go away," I shouted. "Come on little wolf, don't be like that," Christian's voice came through the door. "I'm mad at you," I frowned. The door opened and he walked in holding a plate full of bacon. "I have come bearing gifts. And an apology," Christian sat next to me on my bed. "I'll take the gift," I glared at him and took the plate and started eating it. "Am I forgiven?" Christian smiled. I pretended to think for a second before saying "no". "Come on little wolf. What can I do for you to forgive me?" Christian got down on his knees and leaned on my legs. "I don't know," I shrugged. "Why don't we go for a run. I'll get wolfy out as well," Christian suggested. I couldn't hide my smile that formed on my face. "Come on," he picked me up and walked out of the house. Christian went behind a tree so he can shift. Not long after, a huge black wolf walked out from behind the tree. "Hello wolfy," I giggled and run my hand through his soft black fur. He bent down and I got on his back clinging on to his fur. Just then, he took off running into the now dark woods.
