Chapter 19

19. Kole

My little mate, aria

Aria

"You ready?" Christian looked down at me. "He's three weeks old. The pack have to meet him some day," I sighed. "Not if your not up to it," he smiled softly. "Better now than never," I nodded. We both got outside and went to the pack hall. Christian carried Cj since it wasn't that far.

The whole pack was there waiting for me and Christian. Once we got up on the stage, everyone went silent. "Most of you may know that aria and I were expecting a baby boy. Your next alpha is here and very healthy. Thanks to everyone that helped and gave gifts to him, welcome your future alpha, Christian Jacob Roberts," Christians voice boomed in the room. Everyone applauded and cheered for their next alpha.

Me and Christian finally got home and relaxed. I took Cj up to his room so he could sleep more comfortably. When I opened the door, I gasped when I saw a tall figure in the corner of the room. "Kole?" I called out. He came out of the shadows and sat down on one of the chairs. "Hey little sissy, didn't mean to scare you," he chuckled. "Dick. What are you doing here?" I laughed and layed Cj down in his cot. "Am I not allowed to come visit my little sister?" Kole raised one eyebrow with an amused look. "Not if your going to scare the crap out of me every time," I sat down in the other chair next to him.  "I'm sorry. I've got to lay low and when you opened the door I thought it was a pack member or something," kole mumbled. "How come you never made yourself known to me? Why now?" I breathed out. "Because your old enough to know. I was 8 when that goddamn alpha sent me away. Made me rogue because I wouldn't be a good enough beta. Look where they got themselves now," he chuckled. "Kole, Christian told me what you've done over the years I've been here," I sighed. "Sound like a creep don't I?" He laughed nervously. "You sound like a proper brother looking out for his little sister. I hate that I didn't know but thank you, for everything," I smiled softly. "You make me sound like you can't look after yourself," he looked at Cj. "He looks like dad," kole sighed. "I know. I used to have nightmares about that day," I told him. "Christian told me, we used to meet on the outside of the territory so he could tell me things about you," kole admitted. "Why haven't you joined the pack? We welcomed a new member Benji a couple weeks ago," I replied. "I thought about it for a while but I never asked. I guess being rogue for so long has got to me now. I'll think about it aria, but for now, I have to go. People will catch my scent soon. See you a little sissy, don't forget to keep an eye out for me," kole stood you and hugged me. "Love you big bro," I hugged him back. "Love you to little sis," he smiled then left out of the window, shifting in mid air.

When I got back down to Christian, I snuggled into his side and curled up with his arm around me. "Have a good chat?" Christian smirked. "Yeah, it's nice to have someone other than you and Patrick and the guys to talk to," I sighed. "It's been so long that I want him around more now that I know he's alive not dead. It's hard knowing that he's out there alone scares me. Anything can happen at any time," tears fell. "If it's something kole wants, he can join the pack no questions asked. But I can't do that unless he wants it," Christian told me. I nodded and buried my face into his side. It was like that until I fell asleep. There was no doubt I was worried about my brother, but i knew he could look after himself.
