"Happy birthday, Nat. " Veen said to Nat who turned to him and hugged him.

"Thank you Veen. "

They stayed in that position for a while then Nat finally broke from the hug looking embarrassed . Veen looked down smiling then he finally went to the table set up and draw a chair out and ushered Nat to sit down.

After Nat sat down, Veen walked over to a kitchen setup and put on an apron.

"What would our vvip guest want to have." Veen asked as he tied up the apron.

"You are going to cook. " Nat said scoffing.

"I'm a very trained in the culinary arts. " Veen answered him smiling.

"Okay, Mr Veen what about...... a steak medium rare please."

Veen nodded and began to skillfully work in the kitchen Nat watched him with a smile on his face. Veen looked at Nat and smiled which made him to look away hiding his face which began to turn crimson red.

After a while of Veen working in the kitchen, he came our with a well plated steak and placed it infront of Nat.

"Your steak, darling. "

Nat looked at him then turned to the steak, he took his fork and knife and cut into the steak and ate it.

He chewed the steak for a while and turned to Veen, " This is good, you should taste it." He said excitedly and cut another piece and put it infront of Veen who ate it looking into Nat's eyes. This made Nat look down.

"You are really good at this." Nat said trying to avoid Veen's eyes .

"You are the only one I have cooked for." Veen responded to Nat

Veen walked to the chair opposite Nat's and poured himself some wine and drank it.

"How was your childhood?" Nat asked Veen catching him off guard that he began to cough.

"I'm sorry what?" Veen asked amidst his coughing.

"Well we are married and I don't know anything about you."

"Ohh. Well, I didn't grow up very privileged and my parents worked for a wealthy family and they passed away due to illness so I moved with my grandparents but the rich family took care of my education until I grew to the tycoon I am now."

"Ohh, sorry about your parents but atleast the family that took care of you know they're intrest in you was not in vain."

"Yah. Are you done it's getting late and tomorrow will be a busy day. "

"Sure, let's go."

Veen and Nat walked to the car and drove off and they arrived to the home.

Veen parked the car and the walked into the stairs where Nat stopped and turned to Veen.

"Thank you for today. I had fun."

Nat said this to him the moved closer to him and pecked him on his lips. Veen was stunned and didn't react for a while. Nat run up the stairs into his room and closed his room door.

Veen moved his fingers to his lips and smiled.

Nat's pov

Did I just kiss him, I just kissed him .

I took my pillow and screamed into it causing sugar to wake up .

"I'm sorry baby, daddy is going through a melt down. "

Veen's pov

I can't believe he just kissed me. Maybe I'm just hallucinating but it felt real .

The feeling of his lips were still on my lips. Will his feelings change when he knows the truth.

I reached for my wallet and removed a picture of Nat and Nat's mother when Nat was just born.

"Aunty, I promise I will take care of Nat like you took care of me."
