Chapter 2634
Night of Destiny
Tony wasnât going to leave without getting anything.
âWhat do you want?â Zacharias knew his nephew wasnât one to acquiesce that easily.
âIâm kinda tight on money lately.â Tony was delighted. I can get money from him now.
âHow much do you want?â Zacharias narrowed his eyes dangerously.
âNot much. Fifteen grand.â Itâs not easy getting fifteen grand from him. Zacharias scoffed. âFifteen
hundred.â âIâm not leaving, then. Iâm going to stay here tonight. Youâre not going to flirt with my
goddess.â Tony opened the door and was about to get in. Zacharias relented. âFine, Iâll do it.â Tony
pulled his hand back and turned back around with a smile. âGive me the money before you leave. I
donât want you breaking your promise.â Zacharias took his phone out and gave Tony the money. Fifteen
grand. Tony cursed himself. Man, that was quick. Maybe I shouldâve asked for more. He couldâve given
me 75 grand if I asked. Too late for regrets.
âNow leave,â snapped Zacharias. We canât have this guy here ruining things for us.
Tony said, âRight away.â When he came back into the lounge, Shirley was having some water. He
pretended he had to leave. âSee you next time, my goddess. I have to go now. Urgent stuff.â Zacharias
shot Tony a sharp look. The guy took his car key and left, and then he was gone from the residence.
Shirley smiled, watching Zacharias turn the TV off. She didnât ask him how he managed to chase Tony
out. She pretended none of this had happened. âItâs still early. Do you want to work for a bit?â she
asked.
Zacharias took the glass of water and gazed at Shirley. âDo you think Iâm still in the mood to work
tonight?â Shirley felt electrified for a moment. Zachariasâ gaze was like fire, and she melted for him.
âMy time is yours tonight.â Zacharias put the glass down and hugged Shirley.
âWorkâs important, but youâre more important.â Shirley wrapped her arms around him. She missed him
so much, and that hug squeezed out all her longing for him. She rubbed her cheeks against his chest.
âOkay, then.â âLetâs go upstairs.â Zacharias picked her up and carried her in his arms. Shirley giggled,
wrapping her arms around his neck.
âI donât want to tire you out. Put me down.â Zacharias didnât listen to her and took her upstairs instead.
Shirley enjoyed his firm hold on her. She felt safe and secure in his arms. She thought he would at
least put her down so she could have some rest, but he didnât. Instead, he took her to the battlefield.
His bed.
Shirleyâs heart started to race. She did miss him a lot, but this was too quick and straightforward.
Shouldnât we⦠Shirley couldnât think of anything else better to do with the time, and her cheeks
burned. Whatâs going on with me? Why am I so lewd ever since meeting him? âI need to take a
shower.â Shirley sat up.
Zacharias stopped halfway through, taking his suit off, and he smiled. âSure. Go ahead.â Shirley was
about to go in, but Zacharias hugged her from behind. He unzipped her gown, revealing her beautiful
back, and he kissed her shoulder. âGo.â Shirleyâs heart raced faster. Zacharias did a little favor for her,
and she felt loved. Shirley went into the bathroom. Once the water started running, she couldnât hear
what was happening outside. She just wanted to have a serious shower.
Unbeknownst to her, a dangerous, ravenous silhouette was standing outside the bathroom, and then it
opened the door.
