Contract Marriage With The Disabled CEO
Chapter 91 Fall in Love with Him Betty couldnât remember how long it had been since her mother had bathed her like this. In fact, Shelly
only did it when she was very little. After that, she was busy working and Betty had to take care of hers elf.
It never occurred to her that suddenly there was a man who fed her, cleaned her room and bathed her
when she was hurt after all those years of being alone. It was like making up for all the love she had los t over the years.
Whatâs more, the man who took care of her was a nobleman who had never taken care of anyone else.
Betty felt that she began to accept him, as if the ice in her heart was melting.
Then she closed her eyes to hide the emotion in them.
âKerwin, will you stop being so nice to me? Iâm afraid that⦠I will fall in love with youâ, Betty thought.
After the bath, they go back to the living room. Kerwin was all wet. Then she took some of her sportswear out of the bedroom.
âDo you really intend to stay here today?â she asked tentatively, before handing the clothes to him.
âOf course.â Kerwin answered casually, taking the clothes from Bettyâs hand. âDidnât you say you had to look after your mother? But your hand is injured. How do you take care of her? I can stay and look afte r you both.â
âYou donât have to do that,â Betty said, âI can take a good care of my mother.â
âReally?â The man raised his eyebrows. âYou even need me to help you take a bath. Are you sure you
can handle this yourself?â
What he said reminded her of what happened in the bathroom. Her face turned red and she forgot to re tort. Then she heard Kerwin chuckling.
He just took the clothes and went to the bathroom.
Betty was annoyed for a moment. She felt that she was led by Kerwin again. It made her feel as if he had gotten permission to s tay here tonight Before leaving the room, he suddenly thought of something. âIf you come home with me, I wonât stay he re.â
With that, he went straight to the bathroom and took a cold shower deliberately to douse the fire inside
him.
When he returned to the room, he found Betty already in bed. The mattress was so small, that Betty wa s almost curled up in the corner. Kerwin lay down on the bed and hugged her into his arms.
âWhat are you hiding from?â Kerwin whispered in her ear, âDoesnât the bed have much space now?â
Then he turned off the light, feeling exhausted after a long day. The smell of Bettyâs hair made him hap py.
It seemed that sleeping in a small bed had its advantages, for at least they could be so close together.
He quickly fell asleep, but Betty stayed awake for a long time.
She turned a little, looked up and saw his handsome face with the stubble on his chin.
Kerwinâs breath was all around her. For a moment, she felt her heart beating so violently that she could not control it.
She thought to herself, âBetty, do you have feelings for Kerwin? Or are you in love with him already?â
At midnight, many people in Chicago were still sleepless.
After working overtime, Jeffrey was tired from work when he got to his apartment next to his magazine

Hearing his voice, Emily looked up. Her eyes were red, which showed that she had been crying.

âWhy are you waiting for me here?â asked Jeffrey, frowning. Then he helped her to get to her feet. âI wo rked overtime. My cell phone is out of battery. Letâs go in first.â
As soon as they entered the room, Emily immediately hugged him.
âWhatâs wrong?â He froze.
Her tears soaked his shirt. âJeffrey, will you leave me?â she whispered.
Emily didnât know how to describe her feelings when she heard Lydiaâs words today.
That woman told her that today Jeffrey asked Betty why she didnât explain that she was framed in front of everyone in the magazine.
Emily knew that Lydia told her this because she wanted her to teach Betty a lesson. Unexpectedly, her
face turned white with fear when she heard this.

However he was somewhat reluc âYou donât want to marry me, do you? âShe asked tentatively and even more upset that he remained sile Jeffrey managed a smile. âHow could I do that? Youâre just being paranoid. Your hands and feet are cold. Go take a bath.â
With that, he pushed Emily into the bathroom.
