Betty wondered what Kerwin had done that Sarah admired him so much.

Kerwin opened the car window and whispered to her, “Get in the car!”

Betty smiled at him and got into the car.

After she took her seat, Kerwin continued, “Sorry. I was too hasty at the previous press. conference. I didn’t think about it before I revealed your identity.”

Betty quickly shook her head. “It’s okay. I’m used to it. However, for involving Tylman Group and you, I felt extremely guilty and afraid that you would ignore me again or that you would be angry…”

“I was very angry,” Kerwin said.

Betty looked at Kerwin in panic.

Kerwin smiled.
