HELLOOOOO GALS AND GENTS! It's Marcus here back with another NANO STAT UPDATEEEEEE! *blares vuvuzela*

Can you tell am excited? Because I hope you notice! Wow, after so many weeks submissions are finally closed and the real action begins. We have so many things to discuss chaps.

First off, the total number of submissions is drum roll please *badadadadaa*

.....119 SUBMISSIONS! Which means Mariya_Evans is the winner of our betting games!! Woot, woot! Her guess was 118. And so the lovely Mariya has won for herself drum roll please *badadadadadadadaaaa* A mutual follow from our account!

Woooooooohooo! Congratulations @Mariya_Evans and thanks to everyone who participated. It was so fun to guess ourselves who would be the winner as we watched those submissions climbed, haha!

Secondly, as previously stated in our Important Notice Update we will be releasing our Longlist announcements as judging is completed for that category, starting with Novellas. Chaps can I tell ya Novellas outdid itself this year. A whopping 29 submissions!

And it was a pleasure reading every one of them...which made choosing our longlisters even harder. If we could we would keep almost everyone of those submissions but alas this is a competition.

First and foremost we are proud of each and every one of you for having the guts to submit and remember if you did not make it that's NOT a reflection on your worth as a writer.

There were so many fantastic entries but as judges we chose the stories that to us showed the absolute strongest potential of progressing far into the competition and so when the longlist does come out this Friday we hope that all will show love and support to those who made it. ❤️

And to our Longlisters what can I say except....CONGRATULATIONSSSSSSSSS!
