Chapter 69

She was afraid looking at the sudden appearance of something covered in black in front of her.

She closed her mouth with her hands looking at it with wide eyes.

She blinked her eyes to see if it will disappear but no, all she could see was black.

Her heart was racing and she was panting heavily and her mouth was closed.

She gasped when that something was turning towards her and when she saw what was that something, she looked horrified.

Tears flowed from her eyes when she saw that something was none other than her Sammy.

" Sammy!" She exclaimed and hugged him making both of them fall on the ground.

" Piyu?" He called her concerned.

She was sniffing and he was rubbing her back to calm her down. They both stayed like that for sometime in eachother arms forgetting about their surroundings.

When she realised their position on the ground she got up quickly adjusting her clothes.

" What were you doing here?"

They both asked each other at the same time.

" I was hiding."

Again they answered at the same time.

They both looked at each other with wide eyes.

" You were hiding?"

Words came out of their mouths again at the same time making them sigh.

" Why?"

They both asked each other again at the same time and groaned loudly.

" Wait! I will ask first and you answer me." Piyu said quickly before he says the same thing.

" Ok." He said.

" What are you doing here?" She asked him frowning.

" My family brought me here to meet a girl." He said calmly.

She was silent for a moment grasping what he just said.

" What! You came here to see a girl?" She shouted at him angrily.

" Yes." He said enjoying her anger.

" How dare you to come and see another girl?" She shouted clutching his collar tightly in her fists.

He looked at her who is fuming with anger and he was enjoying her jealousy.

" Answer me Sammy." She yelled looking into his eyes.

Looking at her angry face so close to him, Sam just wants to grab and kiss her but he controlled himself and thought to clear her misunderstanding first.

" Piyu, I didn't know. My sister and mother didn't inform me about this until we reached here. So, when I got the chance, I quickly escaped from meeting the girl and came here to hide myself." He explained cupping her cheeks.

" Are you saying me the truth?" She asked calmly but fear was there in her eyes.

" Piyu, I would never lie to you. I cannot think about anyone else in your place......I love you." He said honestly and she hugged him tightly.

" I love you too......" She mumbled against his chest making him smile.

" So tell me now, why are you hiding in the bushes and what are you doing here?" He asked her frowning.

" I came here to meet the boy's family for a marriage proposal." She said skeptically.

" WHAT!" He yelled in rage.

" Yes, and I also didn't know about it until I was brought here by my family. I wanted to escape from here and I came outside but when I saw my family coming here, I hid myself behind these bushes." She said holding his clenched fists to calm him down.

" That's why I told you that we should tell about us at our homes but you were delaying. Now see they are seeing matches for you." Sam shouted and his mind went blank at the thought of Piyu marrying someone else.

" I am sorry Sam, I didn't know that my family is having plans about my marriage. I am also shocked as they didn't even asked my opinion and just brought me here." She said resting her head on his shoulder holding his arm.

Sam hugged her in fear of losing her.

" I don't want to lose you, I can't live without you..... I will die if you......" Piyu cut him off by placing her hand on his lips.

" Sammy, don't say such things. You will not lose me and I too can't live without you." She said to him who is on the verge of crying.

" Why they are so hell bent on getting us married?" Sam asked in frustration.

" Yeah, I also don't know and that too all of a sudden." Piyu also bellowed.

Both of them looked at each other silently and turned to see that they have audience who are watching them from that time.

They just stood stunned looking at their whole family standing there in front of them. Everyone were looking at them blankly without any reaction and that scared them the most.

" May I know what's happening here?" AJ asked seriously crossing his arms across his chest.

They tried to speak but voice wasn't coming out of their throats.

" Meer! Where were you? We were searching for you." Sam heard her mother's voice but he didn't know what to say or how to say.

" You two were hiding. Weren't you?" Apoorva asked amused looking at them.

They both nodded their heads in yes looking down.

" Why? Because you don't want to meet the person whom we want you to meet?" Jiya asked raising her brows at them.

Again they nodded their heads in yes still looking down.

Everyone and everything was silent for sometime.

Sam and Piyu decided internally to tell about their love to their parents. They looked up to explain them but got shocked when they saw all of them laughing.

Everyone were laughing looking at them.

Piyu looked at her father who was also laughing loudly with her brother.

Sam looked at her mother who is having tears in her eyes due to the laughing along with his sister and brother in law.

They both looked at each other and then at them who are still laughing.

" You two are too dense."

Came the voice.

They turned to see Rads standing there with Rohan smirking at them.

" Huh?"

" Didn't I tell you Rads that these two doesn't use their brains at all when such things happen."

Came another voice.

They turned to see Jai standing there along with Meera smirking at them.

Sam is getting irritated with their puzzles.

" Will anyone tell us what's happening here?"

Sam shouted in frustration.

" See still they don't understand."

Rohan said sighing.

" What you all are doing here?" Piyu asked them frowning at them in confusion.

" We came to knock some sense into two dumb brains." Rads said rolling her eyes.

" Who?" Sam asked.

" Oh God!" Meera exclaimed.

" We brought you here to meet a girl for your marriage Sameer." Sam's brother in law said smiling at them and Sam listened to him calmly.

" And that girl is Piyali." Jiya said smiling at her stupid brother.

" We brought you here to meet a boy for your marriage Piya." Apoorva said smiling at Piyali's stunned face.

" And that boy is Sameer." Aditya said smiling at his baby sister.

Both Sam and Piyu stood rooted in their places.

" Everyone can see your love for each other in your eyes." Jai said grinning at them.

" Except these two idiots." Rads muttered but everyone heard.

" What? How? When?" Sam asked still stunned.

" When first time Piya came to our house, that day only I saw something in your eyes for her beta and after she came to your life I saw my old Meer back again, I saw you smiling and laughing again. She is the reason of your smile and happiness and I want you to be happy forever. My heart said that you love her and I was just waiting for you to confess it to me." Sam's mother said with tears in her eyes.

Sam just stared at her.

" You know when I first saw you both together in the hospital when Arnav was born that day itself I liked him for you. You both looked so good together like a married couple. Whenever you talked about him I saw love in your eyes and he looks at you like you are his whole world. A mother always wants his daughter to be happy and I trust Sameer in keeping you happy." Her mother said smiling at her.

Sam and Piyu just stared at her stunned.

" We waited that you both will reveal about your relationship but you didn't so that's why we had to arrange this meeting like this." Jiya said.

" We wanted to surprise you both by arranging this meeting." Aditya said smiling.

" But you both had to ruin it." Jai said.

" By hiding in the bushes." Rads said laughing.

All the while Sam and Piyu stayed quiet listening to them with wide eyes.

AJ cleared his throat.

" Now can we sit and have a proper talk?" He asked seriously making both of them nervous.

They nodded their heads in a daze.

All of them went and sat on the table arranged for them in the garden.

" You both hid such a big thing from me. What did you think I will not find out? I can easily recognise what is in my daughter's heart and every time I see you both together, I always feel that there is more than friendship between you two." AJ said seriously and both looked down guiltily.

" And when I myself arranged this meeting for your marriage talk, you both ran away and hid behind the bushes." AJ said exasperated.

Both went red in embarrassment.

" Sorry Uncle, I ran away because I can't meet some other girl when Piyu is there in my heart." Sam said honestly melting their hearts.

" Sorry Papa, I also ran away because I didn't want to meet a boy when I love Sameer, It felt like I am betraying him." Piyu said softly making everyone smile at her.

" So Sameer, I want to get my princess married to you. You should keep her always happy and never ever should make her cry or hurt her." AJ said in a warning tone.

" No! I wilk nerver hurt her. If she is your princess then she is my queen.....Queen of my heart." He said smiling lovingly at Piyu who blushed looking down.

AJ was very much happy with his answer and smiled widely at them.

" Welcome to the family."

Saying this AJ hugged Sameer tightly.

Rads, Jai, Rohan and Meera squealed happily clapping their hands. They all hugged Sam and Piyu congragulating them.

Sam and Piyu are very much happy. They never for once thought that today all this will be happening. Their happiness knew no bounds as their love has won and they both are going to get married soon.
