Chapter 16

sorry

under Storm(payu)

"I told you to go home, but come, let's go to my car. You'll get sick again," Payu scolded Rain, his voice tinged with concern.

"I'll go home on one condition," Rain said, his eyes reflecting a mix of determination and vulnerability. Payu looked at him, a hint of confusion in his gaze, as he listened intently.

"I'll go home if you come home with me," Rain stated firmly. Payu nodded in understanding and gently took Rain's hand as they settled into the car.

"Why are you so stubborn? I told you to go home!" Payu's frustration was evident in his tone, but Rain seemed to be lost in his own thoughts, ignoring Payu's words.

"Hey, I'm talking to you!" Payu's voice softened as he looked into Rain's teary eyes, a wave of concern washing over him. Despite his worry, he maintained a facade of sternness.

"Are you crying?" Payu's question hung in the air, filled with a mix of worry and confusion. Rain met his gaze, and tears started to trickle down his cheeks.

"It's your fault! Why are you scolding me?" Rain's voice quivered as Payu gently cupped his face, a gesture of both comfort and apology.

Note: Payu is still under the influence of alcohol.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." Payu's apology carried a weight of sincerity as he tried to convey his regret.

"Let's go home now." Rain's voice was soft yet determined, prompting Payu to start the car and drive towards their destination.

As Payu navigated the roads, Rain succumbed to exhaustion and drifted into a peaceful slumber.

Upon reaching their destination, Payu gazed at Rain with admiration, his heart swelling with a mix of emotions.

"Your sleepy eyes look so pretty, shining like a star when you look at me with those teary eyes. Your lips are so pink, I want to kiss them so badly. I don't know why, but when you look at me, your eyes shine with so much fear. One day, you'll look at me with no fear, I promise," Payu's inner thoughts whispered as he lifted Rain in a bridal style and carried him inside.

Placing Rain gently on the bed, Payu urged him to wake up and take a bath before resting, mindful of his well-being.

"Where am I?" Rain's voice held a hint of confusion as he slowly awakened from his slumber.

"Go take a bath first, then go to sleep," Payu instructed, battling his own dizziness from the lingering effects of alcohol.

Rain followed the instructions and headed straight to the bathroom, seeking solace in the warm water.

As Payu settled on the couch, he reached for his phone and called his assistant, Kluen, with a specific request regarding a marriage contract.

After the call, Payu succumbed to exhaustion and drifted into a restless sleep on the couch, his thoughts lingering on Rain.

In the morning light, Rain gently woke Payu, informing him of the arrival of his assistant with the marriage contract.

"It's 10:30 am," Payu muttered to himself, a sense of urgency creeping into his voice.

"Can you let him in? He brought the marriage contract for both of us, and Rain, just sign it." Payu's words carried a hint of insistence as he grasped Rain's hand with determination.

"Yeah, I will let him in." Rain's response was punctuated by a slight stutter, reflecting his own inner turmoil and uncertainty.
