CHAPTER SIX

Forest Hill High school.

TREVOR'S P.O.V

It has been two weeks since we settled in this new town,  two weeks since we started at a new school,  two weeks since I met Dylan and two weeks since everything was led out in the open.

Alex is a vampire,  Jordan a witch,  Avery a dragon, and Damien is Travis's mate? How is all my family is mated to males with strong aura and of the same almost family? Something that I can't keep my mind at ease.

Damien and Travis are taking things slow like really slow. Maybe because he lost his mate once.  Yeah, we know about that. All they do is checking on one another making sure to know how their day is going.

Nick and Mark are all over one another which they're cute together but sometimes they take it over the top that we have to leave the room for them.  And that is only two weeks, I can't wait for their eternity.

Chris and Max are so not getting anywhere, or maybe they're getting somewhere on their own pace but their path looks like a very long run. They some time talk like normal people, sometimes they act like animals to one another but one thing for sure they're overprotective of one another,  like very.

Dylan and I are also taking things on our own pace not fast but also not slow. Just what that day brings and we are all over it. Dylan has been everywhere I am,  except for the separate classes we have and thankfully we do have a lot of them and when I am at home but also he spends time at home also.  I'm just great full that he is getting along with Sally pretty well.

Good thing is that I don't get tired of seeing him everyday cause he has been anything but nice and loving.

We did talk a lot about the werewolf world,  that some we already know but most of the things we're very new,  especially on the mating part.  It is both terrifying and also intriguing. How can someone love you no matter what,  they're willing to even die or kill for you before even someone else gets to hurt you?

Rejection is the worst thing to come and the death of a mate is so crucial that it can make a wolf go berzerk.

I am currently walking in the hallways with Alex by my side heading for our next class.  Just like I predicted that He and I are going to be close friends and the good thing is that he is in every class that I take.  He never talks much to people apart from his family but he surely talks to me all the time,  it's like am his safe zone or something. Which makes people to notice him more.

" Do you have any plans after school?" Alex asks getting my attention back.

"Not really, why?" I say as we get inside the class.

" Nothing much, I just want you to come with me to Maxine's school.  Mason asked me to pick her up after school ". He says taking a seat next to me at the back of the class.

" Why you?" I asked with a confused expression all over my face.

" Well for starters I'm Maxine's favorite person. The kid is attached to me like am her gold or something. Sometimes she won't go anywhere without me. Well, his dad is okay with me being around her but his father not so much ",  Alex says putting his bag on the floor.

" You mean Ben?" I ask and he just nods. " What did you do to him? "

" Nothing.  The guy just practically hates me from day one".

" Did he say that? "

" Not really but his actions speaks louder.  He is usually on guard when he is around me, he never talks to me let alone acknowledge me".

"You are different you know that right? " I give him a know willing smile.

" So are you, your brother and his son but he welcomed you guys with extra open arms ",  he sniffles.

" Well we eat food and you drink blood",  I stated the facts.

" I do eat food too",  he protests. " Sometimes ".

" There you go". I shake my head for approval. " Well it's Max's day to pick up Ty,  so he could get both of them and pick her up at our place".

" Speaking of Tyler. He and Maxine have grown so close to one another. What's going on there? ".

" I don't know. But they are being friends". Alex says in almost a whisper as the teacher begins the class." It's a relief on my part".

Two hours of listening to the teacher talking about mixing chemicals to provide another chemical were enough to make us exhausted, that we couldn't take another minute before breaking down.

Before I could complain any further, the bell rings.

Walking out of class, I find Dylan waiting for us outside or mainly me. He walks towards me and hugs me tightly and before he could release me he plants a kiss on my forehead, cheeks, and on my nose.

It all started after the dinner we had with his family,  since then whenever he meets me he does that as we have not yet had our very first kiss.

" I have missed you ",  he says putting his arm around my shoulders.

" Well I didn't ",  Alex says taking another step away from us.

Dylan ignores him and bringing his focus back to me.

" I missed you too", say looking at him. " So how was your class? "

" Boring cause the teacher kept on talking and talking, he didn't know what he was keeping me from",  he kisses my temple.

" Well the torture is over now",  I say smiling at him.

Walking through the cafeteria doors,  I see everyone sitting on our usual table. That's right we sit together now during lunch. But among them, I don't see Mark or Nick,  of course, those two are somewhere doing gods know what.  Shamelessly.

Taking a seat next to Avery cause Alex is on the other side of the table. Which he only winks at me.

" It has been two weeks since you guys have been here,  some of the pack members know you,  some they don't. So Damien wants to introduce you guys to the pack and then Max and Mark to start their training ",  Dylan says wandering around looking for something.

" Looking for the wonder twins?", Jordan asks taking a bite of his sandwich.

" Where are they?",  Dylan asks.

" They're somewhere around this school,  but not available anytime soon",  Max says getting a nudge from Chris. " What try to listen in".

And everyone is quite concentrating, except for me and Jordan. We do not share their ability. Before I knew it everyone is making a weird face.

" Eww... How can they do that in the janitor's closet", Chris says cringing his face.

" That's called love my brother",  Dylan says looking at me.

" Ooh hell no... Whatever they are doing in there, I cannot do in a place like that ",  I say shaking my head very had to make sure he gets my point.

" So when will we start the training?", I ask.

" We? ",  Dylan asks in disbelief.

" Yes we,  I need training too",  I say looking at Alex for support which he only stares at me.

" They'll be training for them and I will be the one protecting you in every way possible ",  Dylan says trying to make his point.

" Come on Dylan,  you won't be there all the time to protect him. He is human he needs some defense lessons ",  Chris says.

" Exactly,  thank you Chris",  I smile at him.

" Okay... But I will be the one training you",

" Absolutely not. I will be doing that. You will go easy on him ". Alex speaks for the first time since he sat down.

" It is settled then",  I say pressing a quick kiss on his left cheek.

" What is settled ",  Nick asks from behind us.

Which we all look at them.  They both have hickies all over their necks. Which was not so cool to look.

" Seriously guys,  we're at school. Boundaries guys boundaries",  Avery says and for that we all stood up and leave.

" Come on guys,  we can't help it",  Nick shouts making everyone look at their direction.

DYLAN'S P. O. V

Meeting Trevor is the best thing in my life right now and I have been grateful since then.  My brother did not reject my mate which was something so dear to me.

Trevor and I have been getting so close,  more like me being so close to him because I don't give him space to breathe on his own. I want to know everything about him. Gladly he is an open book and he does not have any complicated life story.

Although he wants to take things on accordingly which I agreed on it but on my side I just want him to be mine already. Where I could corner him and kiss him till he goes numb or rips his clothes and do whatever I please to do to him.

'Stop being a pervert'.  Luke says.

'No am not'.  I say shaking my head.

'Listen to your thoughts dumb ass'. He snarls.

'They're just wishes, stop being stupid'.

'Whatever.  So when can I meet my mate?' He asks.

'How about today?'

'Really?'  I could feel his excitement.

'Yeah why not,  it's not like he never wanted to meet you'.

'Finally.' He jumps.

I feel some electrical waves pass through me looking I see Trevor holding my hand.

" I have been calling you but it looks like you were lost in your world ",  he says nuzzling me.

" I was talking to Luke",  I say kissing his hand.

" How is he? " He asks kissing my hand.

" Well he wants to meet you ",  I say and he halts.

" Really? ",  he asks with worry in his voice.

" Yes,  he would love to",  I say reassuring him.

And for that, we continue walking to the parking lot since classes are over with silence lingering around us.

I wish I could read his mind right now. But all I could see is him worried.

'Does he think I would not like him?'  Luke asks.

" Do you think he will like me? " Trevor asks.

Before I could answer.

'Is he afraid to meet me?'  Luke asks again.

" It's not like I am afraid to meet him",  Trevor says.

Ooh hell no... I can't be the middle man.

'I think he is nervous'.  Luke observes.

" I think am more nervous than excited ",  Trevor unknowingly clears Luke's judgment.

" When can I meet him? " They both ask.

" When we get home ",  I reply.

" My home or your home? ",  Trevor asks this time.

" Anywhere that you are comfortable ",  I say smiling to myself.

" Why are you smiling? " They both ask.

" I am just happy ",  I say taking his hands in mine. " Listen,  you both have a lot in common.  So you will get along just fine".

I didn't know if I was answering Luke or Trevor but they both seem to calm down.

" Let me take you to my favorite place, and we can deal with all of this",  I tell him.

And for that we get in Alex's car as of today I came to school with him. In Exchange, Trevor gives his motorcycle keys to Alex which he only frowns and except them.

For that and we are gone.
