CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

TREVOR P.O.V

I park my motorbike outside Travis's house.Well after our argument at the pack house and everyone went to their separate ways. I decided to go and visit Travis, Damien and the kids.  Walking at the door but before I could knock the door flies open reviling a smiling Tyler.

" Uncle Trev", He comes towards me with open arms to embrace me which I gladly returned kissing his temples.

" I miss you too kiddo". I say putting him down.

" You have been gone for too long that I thought you won't come back". He says as we get inside the house.

" But I promised to come back. And I kept my promise".

" Barely", He pouts. Which I just smile at him.

" Hey Uncle Trev", Maxine greets from the couch. " I am glad our back".

" Hey Maxine. Am glad you missed me". I smirk at her which she only blushes.

" Where is your dad?" I ask Ty.

" He is in the kitchen with the twins", He says sitting at the living room going back to watch whatever they were watching.

" Travis?" I call as I get closer to the kitchen.

" In here". He says.

Walking in I find him feeding the twins who are on top of the kitchen island table.

" Hey", He greets as he hugs me tightly.

" Hey". I say back but he is not letting me go. " You don't have to hug me to death".

" I might well do that if that will make me know that you are really here". He says as he lets me go, with watery eyes.

" I am really here". I tell him as I put my palms on his cheeks, which he only closes his eyes " See". He just nods smiling.

" If I didn't send you there to get killed, then I sure did send you to come back with the most big scar ever". He says as he continues to feed the twins.

" Big scar is better than being dead". I say taking a seat close to Devyn or Daizy, I just can tell them apart yet.

He looks at my scar, " Yeah it is better". He pauses. " So tell me what happened out there?"

So I start to tell him from the first campsite to the purity pack house, about the training and being divided into groups so they could transfer the stronger ones to the pack and being used by the Purity pack leaders to look for the triplets. How I found out that their leaders were the same people who wanted to kill the triplets and me being the second in command of the security and warriors. I tell him how their sons are different from their fathers and I will let them go back if they want to. I tell him that I will do the same to the hunters warriors if they also want to go back to their families. I also tell him how I got all of my scars leaving out the main visible scar.

" No wonder Ty was getting very sick". He says as he puts the twins on the floor.

" Ty was sick, how bad?" I ask in concern.

" Dylan didn't tell you?" He asks with a frown.

" No we haven't talked much, we were busy doing some other things". I say blushing deep red which he only smiles.

" okay so when Tyler turned eleven he started to get sick, which it was just randomly and we couldn't find the cause of his sickness. We tried everything that we could possibly think of, running different tests, making Myron stay close to him but nothing he just kept getting sick. Its not like he was getting sick everyday. Sometimes he gets just a normal fever, sometimes it was bad like really bad.

Jordan and Matt decided to read every book and articles they could get their hands on. They came up empty at first but one day they got an answer". He says looking at me.

" What was it?" I ask curiously.

" It was you".

" Me?" I ask confused.

" Before you freak out just listen cause all of this was not your fault cause you didn't know and one knew about any of it". He says defensively.

" Just tell me", I whisper .He looks at me debating whether to sugar coat the info or just lay it there out in the open.

" A mate is suppose to know your emotions and pain whenever you get hurt. So all the pain that you were experiencing during your wounds healing process, Dylan never experience the pain you were in but Tyler did. All of them".

I know about pain experience thing with the mate. But I have never heard of the pain beyond that. So every time that I was in pain, hurt and scared I was not the only one going through that. I just traumatized a child. How could I do that to a child, if I knew I wouldn't have gone. What did I just do. I knew Dylan could handle my pain cause he is stronger and werewolf so he won't feel that much of the pain. I am a terrible person. What did I just do? This is on me.

" Trevor". Travis tries to get my attention back. " You didn't know".

" I did this to him?" I feel a tear fall on my cheek. " How?"

" It is all because you share a hunter's blood. Its like how Damien share the Alpha's blood with Dylan, Devyn and Daizy. When one of them get injured then he will experience the same pain even if it will be for a while. I couldn't feel your pain because my hunter's side is gone but not Ty's." He explains.

" How do I fix it?"

" That we don't know". He replies.

" I think I know someone who knows. More like people". I say looking at him which he only stares for me to say more. " The hunter's warriors".

" Ooh". He says remembering. " So they can come in handle".

" I am sorry Travis. If I knew I wouldn't have gone".

" If you knew none of us would let you go anywhere. So its okay. It not like he is sick now".

" I will fix this I promise". I say.

" I know you will", He says taking out a cooking pan. " So what do you want for lunch?"

But before I could answer that, the front door opens and we hear Damien voice greeting the kids at the living room, before he enters the kitchen.

" Hey babe. I came baring gifts". Damien says as he puts brown paper bags on the table and goes to his mate. " I have missed you". He says as he leans in and give Travis a deep passionate kiss. I don't think if they care am here.

" I have missed you too". Travis says panting. Until when his eyes meets mine that is when he blushes hot red as he hides his face on Damien's chest.

" Hello Trevor", Damien says smiling towards me.

" Hello Damien". I say trying to swallow my laugh. " I have never seen Travis acting all blushy and shy before. What did you do to my brother Damien?"

" Its all about love", I hear Dylan's voice from behind me. Which I turn to see him carrying another two of the brown bags. He also puts them on the table.

" Hey", He greets as he gives me a quick peck on the cheek. " Travis". He greets him.

" Is everything okay with you two", Damien asks looking at both of us.

" Yes", We both reply at once.

" If you say so". He says but I know he did not buy that. " Well we brought lunch from the pack house".

Damien starts to remove containers from the brown bags. " there is pasta, mac and cheese, fries, burger, salad, chicken sandwich,mash potatoes, rice and sauce. We just took almost everything on the table. So what do you want to eat?"

" Woow. Are you feeding an army?" Travis says as he takes the plates from the cabinet.

" You don't say". I agree with him only for Dylan to laugh and Damien to frown.

" Whatever". Damien says as he takes a seat beside his mate. " Tyler its lunch time", He calls.

Silent.

" Tyler". He tries again.

Silent.

" Let me go check on them". I say walking to the living room.

I find Tyler a sleep with his sisters on the couch, Daizy on his chest and Devyn on his stomach or vice versa. I silently stand looking at them as they are peacefully lying there in a deep sleep. Admiring at their love for one another even on their sleep you can still see that.

" One day it will be one of us". I hear Dylan's voice from behind me as he comes to hug me from behind as he puts his head on my shoulder.

"One day", I murmur laying my head on his has we stand silently looking at the sleeping kids. It looks like Maxine is gone.

" I am sorry". I say breaking the silent. " I never cheated on you or my intention to make you feel like I did".

" I know and if you did I would have known. I just over reacted". He says turning me to face him.

" Are you saying you were jealousy?" I smirk.

" I am allowed to", He blushes which I only smile.

So I slide my hand around his waist and pull him closer, I brush a loose piece of hair out of his eye smiling, " You need a hair cut".

" So do you", He says as he grabs my shirt and press his lips on mine as his hand slides at my back pressing me close to him. We remained locked into eachother's embrace for I don't know how long until...

" Are you guys coming? We are starving". Damien shouts from the kitchen.

For that we part ways and head to the kitchen with swollen lips.

And here I thought I was suppose to meet with the warriors during lunch.

Anyways my mate is better than them.

I will see them during dinner.

For that we start to eat after telling them that Ty is asleep with the twins and Maxine left.
