CHAPTER TWENTY

TREVOR'S P.O.V

Sweat is dripping on my forehead, as I take a deep breath while gripping tightly on a wooden sword that is on my hands. Looking at my opponents in front of me who are ready to attack me at any moment. Waiting for them to attack me first so I wouldn't give up my moves.

" Remember your training keep your head low and everything will be okay", I hear Damien's voice in my head, remembering what he told me.

Before I analyze what is happening, I see a blast of flame coming towards me, quickly I move aside but only to come face to face with a vampire charging towards me, using all the speed I have I swing the sword much higher getting a good hit to his stomach only to be pushed by a wolf and being thrown to the side landing on a very sharp object which pierces my lower abdomen.

" Holy shit, are you okay?" I hear Levi running to where I am.

" I am okay", I say looking at the damage. Another scar.

" You don't say. That was a pretty bad fall", Cole says standing above me." Let me heal that".

" No need to, I will just go to the doctor". I say trying to stand only to fall back down wincing on the pain.

" Your bleeding Trevor, let him heal it". Liam says

" Probably he will remove the scar this time cause it looks like Levi keeps on adding scars on your body". Darius says.

" Not really", I say looking at Levi's worried face. " Okay, I will let you heal me this time".

Cole smiles widely as he bends down doing his magic and in a second the wound is gone.

" See there all new. I could remove other scars if you want".

" No!" I say a little sharply. " No need thanks".

" I think we are done for the day, let us go clean up". Liam says as he picks his things from the ground, making all of us do the same and we all start to walk out of the training room.

As walking out I notice Levi is lacking behind with a worried face written all over him.

" You guys go ahead I will catch up with you". I tell them and off they were gone.

" Hey, are you okay?" I ask him as I walk towards him.

He just looks at me with almost teary eyes.

" Is this because of what Darius said?" I ask him. " Because you know he was only joking right?"

" Except it was not for me". He says looking at my scar on the neck. " One day I might do worse".

" Hey, not all scars that I have is because of you. You only gave me one, okay maybe two but that one doesn't count. Only one".

" Do you even see how it looks on you. It looks like someone butchered you and that someone was me. And every time I see that scar it reminds me that one day I might take it far". He says with tears this time.

" It is not like you meant it, it was an accident. So stop blaming yourself". I raise my hand wiping his tears. " And if you take it far, Cole is always around".

He closes the distance between us coming so close to my face, " If only I was your boyfriend". He leans in and kisses my scar " I would have done more than kissing your scar".

" Levi - " I start.

" I know", He takes a step behind creating a distance between us. " I know am not your boyfriend or if I will ever be for unknown reasons. But I am just happy for whatever we have now". He takes my hand into him and we walk out of the room.

I need to get out of this place as soon as I can, I don't think if this going to end in a good way. Someone will get hurt.

Reaching my room, I remove all the clothes and put them in a Laundry hamper and get inside the bathroom. Piss, brushing my teeth, shaving, and taking a shower is what I did in the bathroom. Getting out I walk into my closet taking black jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black leather jacket. Hanging my shades on my left front pocket, Silver watch on my wrist with black canvas, and I was done.

Today we are going outside the packs land, to the hunter's recruiting camp as we are going to see how they recruit them and how they train them although I know all the process, not too long I was one of them. If things go great then I will contact Dylan back home.

" You look sexy", Levi whispers into my ear as he leans further to my scar.

" Levi", I warn stepping away from him.

" Ooh..come on. You can't deny me that". He smiles at me which I only push him away.

" Yes, he can because he is not your boyfriend". Liam says looking at Levi. " I think you should file a rape case against him".

Which we all laugh at what he said and we all get into a black SUV, I being the driver, Levi shotgun  Cole, Darius, and Liam at the back. Being escorted by another two SUVs full of warriors in them. Three hours' drive, this is really a road trip.

It didn't take long for Cole, Darius, and Liam to doze off leaving Levi, and I silently driving with a little music background.

" Can I ask you something?" Levi breaks the silence between us.

" I know what you want to know", I say gripping tightly at the steering wheel. I don't think I want this conversation right now. " So no".

He smiles, " I am going to ask anyway. Why don't you want to become my boyfriend?"

" Levi - ".

" Just give me a reason. Because I have shown you how much I like you, how much I will give you anything to make you happy. So just tell me what makes me unlikable to you?"

" It is not you Levi, the thing is that one day you will meet your mate and all these feelings that you have towards me will all go to the parish, so just wait a little longer and you are going to be happy".

" But I want to be happy with you, right now. I will even reject my mate just to be with you". He looks at me desperately. Now I think this boy is going crazy right.

" You can't do that. Not to yourself or to your mate. Do you know how painful the rejection is? You will be miserable and kill your wolf". I tell him annoyingly.

" How come you know a lot about wolves?" He asks suspiciously. Busted.

" Because I read too many werewolf books". I tell him hoping he will buy it.

" So what your saying is that I can't be your boyfriend because I have to wait for my mate who is not allowed to reject," He pauses. " Okay, I will agree to that if you will let me kiss my scar ".

" Your scar?" I ask him in disbelief.

" Yes, my scar. Cause I am the one who gave you that scar".

" But it is on my body".

" Whatever. Okay, our scar. Will you let me?"

Before I could answer him the car in front of us stops immediately which made me hit the breaks so fast that we all go forward thankfully we wore seat belts.

" What the hell was that?" I hear Liam groans from the back seat.

" I think we have a problem sir".  Henry one the warriors in the first car say through the radio.

" What seems to be a problem Henry?" I ask him.

" I think the camp as been ambushed cause we can't get anyone through", He replies.

" But we can go ahead and check out first", Jared another warrior suggests.

Darius takes the radio out of my hand forcefully, " Then what are you waiting for. Go."

" Darius am the head of the warriors, you can't just order them to do something without a plan". I half yell at him.

" And am your leader so whatever I tell them goes". He hisses at me showing his fangs.

" Darius", Levi warns with a growl.

Before I could even default the order they were gone leaving us alone in the middle of the woods without any extra protection. I turn around glaring daggers at Darius which he only smirks.

" You think this is funny?" I ask him angrily.

" Your face looks kinda funny".  He smiles widely which he only earns a back head slap from Cole.

" Henry?" I call through the radio.

No response.

" Jared?" I try.

No response.

" Henry, Jared respond".

No response.

" Okay I think something went wrong". Darius says with a worried tone.

" You think so?" Liam asks him.

" It is all clear sir, you can come in". We hear Jared's voice through the radio.

" See nothing is wrong". Darius comments which he only earns a groan from all of us.

" What happened?" I ask to be positive.

" We were doing some perimeter checking. All good sir". Jared responds again.

" Okay. We are on our way". I tell him and we start to drive.

Reaching the campsite, everything has gone super quiet as if no one exists. The front gate is open but there are no guards. Driving further we don't see any kind of activity going on. Looking ahead we see the two SUVs parked in front of us but no one is either inside or around them and it is really quiet.

" This is creepy". Cole says sitting straight and alert making everyone be more alerted.

I come to a stop behind one of the SUVs, still looking around to see any kind of human existence.

" Jared come in". I speak through the radio.

" Henry, do you copy?" I ask again.

Looking around I don't see anything or anyone. So I decide to be the brave one.

" Nobody gets out of this car do you hear me", I say looking directly at Levi cause I know that he will be the first one to come out. Placing my sword at my back pouch. Taking my two guns on my hands, I open the door and step outside. " Any sign of danger you drive away".

" Trevor", Levi calls.

" I will be okay. Now stay put". I close the door and start to go deeper into the campsite.

Since when I have become this brave? I ask myself as I walk even further. Reaching an open field I see Henry, Jared, and other warriors being held captive with people I have never seen before and am overly outnumbered. So I decided to turn around and head back to the car.

" Don't move", Someone says behind me. " Drop your weapons and put your hands where I can see them".

I put the guns down and my sword as I try to calculate my way out. But before I could get any solution another person comes right in front of me and I hear movements behind me turning around I see other people escorting the boys to where I am.

" And you call yourself a warrior". Darius mocks as he passes me over.

" I thought I told you to go". I ask them as I was pushed to walk.

" Well, we didn't see any kind of danger". Liam replies.

" Stupid". I whisper angrily.

They do look werewolf to me, who belong to a pack and not that they are rogues. Some of their faces look familiar to me but I can't place them to where I have seen them before.

Reaching to where others were, they tapped our hands together using zip ties and told us to stay put waiting for their leader to come.

Several of pissed off silent hour, we hear a commotion to where we have parked our cars.

" I think their leader is here". Levi whispers to me.

" Where are they?" I hear a familiar voice coming towards us.

So I stand to see if that person is real or am just daydreaming.

Maybe not.

There he is, handsome as ever.

He is standing right in front of me, with teary eyes and exhausted face.

No one makes a single move, still looking at each other to know if this is real.

Until I feel a tear roll down my cheek, to know that it is real.

" Dylan?"

At last, they reunite after eighteen months.

What will happen to Levi, Cole, Darius, and Liam?
