LAST CHAPTER

Drown to You - LingOrm (END)

Orm’s days at home had become even busier since the birth of Ratchaya and Natchaya. Her twin daughters were now three years old, entering a highly active phase that often left Orm feeling overwhelmed. Especially when Ling was at work, all the responsibility of taking care of them fell entirely on Orm’s shoulders. Ling had actually offered to hire a nanny, but Orm refused. She wanted to raise her children herself, without any outside help.

Like this afternoon, Orm was busy trying to persuade her two little ones to stop playing and take a bath.

"Ratchaya... Natchaya... It's getting late, let’s go take a bath," Orm called out, repeating the same sentence she had already said multiple times. However, the twins were still engrossed in their play, paying no attention to their mother’s words.

"Come on, let’s take a bath first… You can’t just play all day," Orm said patiently, trying to catch her daughters as they ran around the backyard.

Suddenly, the sound of a sharp cry rang out, making Orm immediately run toward Ratchaya, who had fallen.

"See? Mama told you not to run around too much," Orm said gently as she cleaned Ratchaya’s hands and legs, which were covered in dirt. "Alright, that’s enough playing for now," she added, guiding both Ratchaya and Natchaya back into the house.

Orm took her daughters to their room. One by one, she helped them take off their clothes before leading them into the bathroom.

She gently bathed the twins in the bathtub, carefully washing their little bodies. As she did so, she told them colorful stories, answering the innocent questions they eagerly asked. At times, Orm couldn’t help but smile at the funny and curious thoughts her daughters shared.

During bath time, Orm often sang cheerful songs. Sometimes, she made up her own tunes, and other times, she used familiar melodies, adding playful lyrics. Through this, she not only entertained them but also helped develop their speech skills, introducing them to new words. She knew that three years old was a crucial age for language development, and she wanted to be fully involved in that process.

"A little duck swims in the water... quack, quack, quack..." Orm sang, moving her hands like a swimming duck, making Ratchaya and Natchaya burst into laughter. Seeing their bright, joyful smiles warmed Orm’s heart. Every time they tried to sing along in their tiny voices, Orm felt a deep sense of happiness.

In the midst of the fun, Ratchaya suddenly asked, "Mama, why can ducks swim, but we can’t?"

Orm chuckled at the question and patiently explained, "Because ducks have webbed feet, like tiny paddles. But don’t worry, one day you’ll learn to swim too. Mama promises."

Hearing this, Natchaya started splashing the water with her little hands, as if trying to imitate how ducks swim. Moments like these were incredibly precious to Orm. Every second spent with her twins felt meaningful.

After rinsing and drying their small bodies, Orm wrapped Ratchaya and Natchaya in warm towels. She led them back to their room, guiding them to sit on the edge of the bed while she picked out their clothes.

"Dadda’s home!" Ling’s voice suddenly called from outside the room, making Ratchaya and Natchaya dash toward the door. As soon as Ling stepped in, both girls jumped into her arms, hugging her tightly.

"Oh… You must have missed Dadda, huh?" Ling said softly, crouching down to return the warm embrace. It had been three days since she last saw them due to a business trip to Taiwan. The longing that had built up was now replaced with the pure joy of having them back in her arms.

After a few moments, the twins finally let go. They nodded eagerly in response to Ling’s question, their bright smiles making Ling unable to resist stroking their hair lovingly.

Watching their interaction, Orm suddenly spoke with a hint of surprise, "P’Ling, why didn’t you tell me you were coming home now? I haven’t prepared dinner yet. Is it okay if we eat late?"

Ling looked at Orm with a meaningful smile. "I wanted to surprise you," she said with a small grin. "As for dinner, we can just order from outside, so you don’t have to go through the trouble of cooking, love."

Orm smiled but shook her head gently. "There’s no way I wouldn’t cook to welcome you home, P’Ling," she replied with a soft yet determined expression.

Ling chuckled, thinking for a moment before standing up and walking closer to Orm. "Then I’ll take care of the twins while you cook."

Orm smiled, then leaned in to place a gentle kiss on Ling’s cheek. "Thank you, Phi. I won’t take long," she said before hurrying out of the room to prepare a special meal.

After Orm left, Ling turned her attention back to Ratchaya and Natchaya, who were standing there, watching her with excitement. "Alright, now let’s pick out your clothes," she said, leading them to the wardrobe.

Unlike Orm, who usually chose everything for them, Ling preferred to let the twins decide for themselves. She believed this was a good way to foster their independence, even in small matters like picking out their outfits. Ling smiled with pride, seeing how quickly her daughters were growing and learning every day.

•••••

After a warm dinner together, it was now time for Ratchaya and Natchaya to go to bed. Ling took over the task of putting the twins to sleep tonight while Orm cleaned up the dining table in the kitchen. Gently, Ling held both of her daughters’ hands and led them to their bedroom.

Once they arrived, Ling helped the twins get onto the bed, adjusting their pillows and blankets. After making sure they were comfortable, she tucked them in with care, softly patting them to soothe them.

Suddenly, Natchaya pointed to the bookshelf in the corner of the room and whispered, "Dadda… read a storybook."

Ling smiled at the request. "Alright, what story should we read tonight?" she murmured as she walked over to the bookshelf, scanning the neatly arranged books. Her hand finally reached for a book with a bright-colored cover featuring a small fox.

"How about The Adventures of the Little Fox and His Friends? Do you like this one?" Ling asked, showing the book to her daughters.

Ratchaya and Natchaya nodded eagerly, their eyes sparkling with excitement. Ling walked back to the bedside, sat on the small chair nearby, and opened the book to the first page.

With a soft and expressive voice, Ling began reading. "In a peaceful green forest, there lived a little fox named Rafi. Rafi had many friends, like the playful rabbit, the wise owl, and the squirrel who could jump very high..."

As she read, Ratchaya and Natchaya became more and more absorbed in the story. Their eyes were filled with curiosity, and from time to time, they smiled at the little fox’s adventures. Ling didn’t just read; she changed her voice for each character, making the story even more engaging for her daughters.

When she reached a funny part of the story, the twins giggled, covering their mouths to keep from laughing too loudly. Ling smiled, feeling proud and happy to share such a precious moment with them.

Eventually, after several pages, Ling noticed the twins beginning to yawn, their sleepiness becoming impossible to resist. Gently, she closed the book and placed it on the small table beside the bed.

"Alright, that’s all for tonight. The little fox and his friends will continue their adventure tomorrow night," Ling said with a gentle smile as she stroked their heads.

"Dadda… is the little fox sleeping too?" Ratchaya whispered, her eyes barely open.

Ling nodded. "Yes, the little fox and all his friends are already asleep. Now it’s time for Ratchaya and Natchaya to sleep too, so tomorrow morning we can go on new adventures together."

She then turned off the main lights, leaving only the soft glow of the night lamp in the corner of the room. After giving each of them a gentle kiss on the forehead, she whispered, "Good night, my loves… sweet dreams."

Ling quietly stepped out of the room, closing the door gently behind her, making sure the twins could sleep peacefully.

Ling finally entered her bedroom, where she saw Orm already waiting on the bed, comfortably leaning against the headboard while reading a small book. When she heard Ling's footsteps, Orm turned and gave her a warm smile.

"Are the twins asleep?" she asked softly, gazing at Ling, who stood in the doorway.

Ling nodded slowly with a smile. "They're sleeping soundly," she replied as she walked closer, climbing onto the bed, relieved to finally rest after a long day with the children.

Orm straightened her posture, welcoming Ling with a look full of care and attention. "How was work in Taiwan? You must be exhausted, Phi," Orm asked, her voice filled with warmth and concern.

Ling gave a gentle smile and shook her head slightly. "I'm not tired," she said, looking into Orm's eyes with deep meaning. "My exhaustion disappears the moment I see you and the twins at home."

Orm smiled, but this time with a playful pout. "Really? I thought your exhaustion disappeared only because you saw the twins," she teased, pretending to sulk since Ling had spent most of her time with the children since coming home.

Ling chuckled at Orm's playful tone. She shifted closer, then looked at Orm with a teasing smile. "Are you jealous of the kids?" she asked, raising an eyebrow, clearly enjoying the moment.

"Me? How could I be jealous of my own children?" Orm replied quickly, though her shy smile gave her away.

Ling moved even closer, this time wrapping Orm in a tight embrace. She buried her face in Orm's shoulder and whispered softly, "I did miss the kids… but I missed you even more," she admitted sincerely, making Orm smile brightly.

"Really?" Orm pretended not to believe her, lifting her chin slightly to challenge Ling. "If that's true, where's the proof that you missed me more?"

Ling chuckled, her gaze turning playful. "You want proof?" she asked, one eyebrow raised, her desire clear.

Orm let out a small laugh, her eyes filled with challenge. "Go ahead… if you dare," she replied, her smile growing wider.

Without hesitation, Ling gently pushed Orm down onto the bed, letting her rest comfortably among the soft pillows. Ling then crawled closer, her gaze filled with longing and the emotions she had held back during the days she spent away from home.

She brought her face near until their breaths mingled, the closeness intensifying the moment. Slowly, Ling pressed a soft kiss to Orm's lower lip, a tender touch that Orm immediately reciprocated, kissing Ling's upper lip in return.

The kiss lasted for a while until Ling broke the kiss and moved to Orm's neck, giving Orm a few kisses on her neck. Ling's hands moved into Orm's pajamas, she squeezed Orm's breasts alternately and even played with Orm's nipples.

Ling unbuttoned Orm's pajamas and her gaze immediately fell on Orm's breasts which were so beautiful in her eyes that it made her swallow.

"P'Ling.. Mmh.." Orm squeezed Ling's hair, while biting her own lip. Her nipples felt ticklish when Ling's tongue licked her nipples and felt sore when Ling bit her nipples.

"Aah... Mmhh..." Orm could no longer hold back the moans that came out of her mouth. She let Ling explore her body to her sensitive area.

Ling opened Orm's pants and underwear and threw them on the floor. Her lips moved to kiss Orm's vagina several times before her tongue touched Orm's clitoris.

"Mmhh... P'Ling..."

Orm squeezed the sheets, her body writhing feeling Ling's tongue playing on his vagina and clitoris. Her moans filled the room along with Ling's tongue moving faster exploring her vagina.

"Aah... Lingling Kwong..."

Orm pressed Ling's head closer to her vagina. Her body shook violently as she felt something coming out of her vagina, "Phi.... Aaahhh...." Finally Orm let out a long sigh, her breath gasping unable to hold back the pleasurable sensation of her climax.

With a proud smile, Ling slowly pulled her head away. She then lay down beside Orm, turning to face her lover. "Was that enough proof that I missed you?" Ling asked, her mischievous smile still lingering.

Orm looked at Ling while trying to catch her breath, still savoring the warmth of the moment. However, she did not want to show her satisfaction too clearly. "Hmm... I don't know..." Orm pretended to think, wearing an uncertain expression as if teasing Ling. She reached for her pants that lay on the floor and slowly put them back on. Then, she carefully buttoned her pajama top, adjusting her appearance again.

Seeing Orm act as if she was unaffected, Ling felt challenged. "If that wasn’t enough," Ling said in a teasing tone, "I will just have to prove it again." She sat up from her lying position, moved closer to Orm, and slipped under the blanket covering her lover.

"Phi Ling... that's enough..." Orm giggled, trying to push Ling away as she moved closer beneath the blanket.

Bang!

The sound of the bedroom door suddenly opening startled both Orm and Ling. They locked eyes, shocked by the unexpected interruption. Ling, who had initially ignored the disturbance, continued her movement under the blanket. However, Orm quickly patted her shoulder in warning. "P’Ling… The twins are here." She turned to see their daughters standing in the doorway, their sleepy but curious eyes staring at them.

Ling immediately froze, stopping her actions, and emerged from under the blanket with an awkward expression. She took a moment to collect herself before greeting them. Ratchaya and Natchaya, still half-asleep, ran toward the bed.

"Dadda… Mama…" Ratchaya called out as she climbed onto the bed, followed by Natchaya, who let out a small yawn but remained excited.

Ratchaya looked at Ling with an innocent expression and said, "Dadda… hiding under the blanket. You must be scared of ghosts too!" Her distinct, slightly lisped voice made Orm chuckle.

Ling raised an eyebrow, slightly confused. "Ghosts?" she asked, trying to suppress a laugh. "What ghost, sweetheart?"

Ratchaya nodded seriously. "An ugly ghost, Dadda! Ratcha can't sleep because of the ugly ghost," she explained, then quickly snuggled under the blanket beside Orm. Not wanting to be left behind, Natchaya immediately followed her sister and hid under the blanket as well.

Orm lifted the blanket slightly and looked at her daughters with warmth. "Sweetheart, that’s just your imagination. There are no ghosts," she said gently while stroking their heads. "Mama will take you back to your room to sleep, okay?"

But the twins shook their heads in unison, clearly refusing. Natchaya, her eyes starting to water, insisted, "No… Natcha and Ratcha want to sleep here with Dadda and Mama."

Orm could not resist their request and sighed in defeat. She stroked their hair one by one and said, "Alright… but promise to sleep now, okay?"

"Yes, Mama!" Ratcha and Natcha answered together, their faces lighting up with joy at getting their wish.

Ling, still smiling at their antics, shifted her position to make space for the twins to sleep between her and Orm. She glanced at Orm, who was busy tucking the twins in, then let out a quiet sigh and murmured, "Why are the kids closer to you than to me? Even though they look more like me."

Orm chuckled softly and looked at Ling with a gentle gaze. In a quiet, understanding voice, she replied, "They are close to you too. But maybe you've just been busy with work lately."

Ling took a deep breath, realizing Orm was right. Her packed schedule had left her with little time to spend with her family. "I should be spending more time with you all…"

Orm smiled and placed a gentle hand on Ling’s arm. "It's okay. When you have time, let's go on a trip together. The twins love you so much."

Ling gazed at Orm with deep affection and nodded slowly. She knew how understanding Orm was about her work, and she felt grateful to have her as her life partner, along with the two little angels who now completed their family.

°°°°°°

"Breakfast is ready," Orm called softly from the kitchen, filling the air with the mouthwatering aroma of her cooking.

Like excited little children, Ratchaya and Natchaya immediately ran toward the dining room, leaving behind a messy living room scattered with coloring tools and toys. Ling, who had been patiently keeping them company, smiled as she tidied up the remnants of their drawing session. After making sure everything was neat, she followed them to the dining room.

"Come on, Mom Dadda!" Ratchaya called cheerfully, pointing to the empty chair beside her, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

"Alright, sweetheart," Ling replied gently, granting Ratchaya's request. She took a seat beside her, while Orm sat next to Natchaya. And so, their little family began their breakfast together, enjoying the warm and loving atmosphere between them.

However, in the middle of the meal, Orm noticed that Ratchaya seemed reluctant to feed herself. With a gentle tone, she asked, "Ratcha, do you want Mama to feed you so you can finish quickly? We're going out after this, remember?"

Ratchaya shook her head slightly. "No," she said, pushing her plate toward Ling. "I want Dadda to feed me…"

Orm gave a small smile and reached for Ratchaya’s plate. "But Dadda is still eating, sweetheart. Here, let Mama feed you instead."

But Ratchaya stubbornly held onto her plate, refusing to budge. "Dadda is already done. I only want Dadda."

Without saying much, Ling simply smiled, picked up a spoon, and started feeding Ratchaya while continuing her own meal. Orm chuckled and teased, "Always with Dadda… But in the end, the one you’ll be looking for is still Mama."

Hearing that, Ratchaya looked at Ling with curiosity. "Is that true, Dadda?" she asked innocently, wanting to hear the answer from her parent.

Ling only gave a small nod, her warm smile never fading. She continued feeding Ratchaya calmly, making sure her daughter felt cared for. Suddenly, Natchaya, who was sitting beside Orm, also pushed her plate toward Ling.

"Dadda… I want you to feed me too," she said hopefully.

Seeing this, Orm tried to reason with her. "Ratcha is already with Dadda. Come here, Natcha, let Mama feed you instead."

But Natchaya quickly shook her head, firmly refusing. "I only want Dadda," she said with determination, unwilling to move to her mother’s side.

Ling smiled, understanding her daughters’ desire to be close to her that morning. "Alright… Come here, Dadda will feed both of you," she said patiently. She then alternated feeding Ratchaya and Natchaya, each spoonful making the twins giggle happily. They even wiggled in their seats with excitement.

Watching the adorable scene, Orm shook her head slightly and smiled in amusement. She muttered under her breath, "Hah… The fate of a mother, giving birth to my own rivals."

Despite her playful complaint, Orm felt nothing but happiness seeing Ling so close to their daughters. It was as if nothing could replace Ling's place in the twins' hearts.

•••••

Today was a special day for Orm's little family. After planning for some time, they finally had the chance to spend a day at the beach for a family picnic. Ling, who was always busy with work, deliberately took a day off to fully focus on her beloved family. This moment was a rare opportunity for her to refresh herself while strengthening her bond with the people she loved.

The journey to the beach was filled with laughter and cheer, making the trip feel much shorter. Inside the car, their joyful voices echoed, creating a warm and happy atmosphere. Ling sat behind the wheel, driving leisurely while occasionally glancing at the rearview mirror to check on her two little ones in the backseat. A smile never left her face as she cherished the long-awaited togetherness.

Meanwhile, Orm kept Ratchaya and Natchaya company in the back seat. Cheerful children's songs played from the car's speakers, and the twins eagerly sang along to the rhythm. Their tiny voices were filled with excitement, even though they occasionally got the lyrics wrong, which only made the moment even more endearing. Orm smiled, gently guiding them and correcting their lyrics with patience and love.

When they finally arrived at the beach, Ling was the first to step out of the car, inhaling the fresh sea breeze and feeling the warmth of the sun welcoming them. Shortly after, Orm joined her, gazing at the vast stretch of sand before them. As she kept an eye on the twins, Orm prepared to take charge of watching over them so Ling could handle the picnic supplies.

"Do you want me to help, Phi?" Orm asked while watching Ling unload their belongings from the trunk, stacking everything they needed for the day.

"No need... Just watch the kids. I'll take care of this," Ling replied with a gentle smile, showing her sincerity in wanting Orm to focus on Ratchaya and Natchaya, who were already impatient to play on the beach.

"Mama… Come on, let's go!" Natchaya called excitedly, tugging at Orm's hand. Ratchaya quickly joined in, pulling her other hand, unwilling to be left out of the fun.

"Alright, sweethearts…" Orm said with a smile, unable to resist their enthusiasm. She took Ratchaya’s hand in her right and Natchaya’s in her left, leading them toward the shoreline where the small waves gently lapped at the sand.

As soon as they reached the water’s edge, the twins cheered in excitement, mesmerized by the shimmering ocean under the sunlight. They crouched down near the water, occasionally dipping their tiny hands into the cool sea. Orm knelt beside them, soaking in this precious moment of happiness with her children.

"Mama… Are there fish here?" Ratchaya asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Orm smiled warmly and replied, "Yes, sweetheart… But the fish are further out there," she said, pointing toward the deeper part of the ocean, showing the twins where the fish usually swam.

Ratchaya and Natchaya nodded eagerly, imagining a school of fish swimming in the vast sea before them. Ratchaya even waved at the ocean as if greeting the fish that might be out there. Orm chuckled softly, amused by their innocent imagination.

Meanwhile, from a distance, Ling watched the three of them with a smile full of love. She finished unloading their belongings and began setting up a picnic mat under the shade of a tree, making sure they had a comfortable spot to relax.

Once everything was in place, Ling walked over to Orm and the twins, who were still busy playing by the shore. With a bright smile, she carried a box of beach toys she had prepared back home. "Who wants to play with Dadda?" Ling asked enthusiastically, eager to spend quality time with her children.

"Me!! Me!!" Ratchaya and Natchaya shouted in unison, raising their little hands high, their eyes sparkling with excitement.

Ling then turned to Orm, smiling gently as she said, "You should take a break. I'll play with the kids today." Her voice was filled with sincerity, as if she wanted to make up for all the time she had missed.

Orm nodded in understanding. "Alright, I'll prepare some food for you all later," she replied, giving Ling and the twins their moment without interruption. She then walked toward the picnic mat under the tree, leaving Ling to take over playtime for the day.

Ling eagerly led the twins toward the water, holding their hands gently but firmly to ensure they were safe. Even though they only played by the shoreline, the joy on their faces was undeniable. They giggled as the waves brushed against their feet, the cool water bringing a refreshing sensation to their skin.

After playing in the water for a while, Ling guided them to the drier part of the beach, where the sand was more suitable for building. With excitement, she took out small shovels and molds from the toy box and encouraged the twins to build a sandcastle.

"Let's make a big castle, okay?" Ling said, picking up a small shovel and starting to shape the foundation. Ratchaya and Natchaya immediately joined in, though their work was still messy. But to Ling, that only made the moment even more heartwarming. They happily scooped and piled up the sand beside her, laughing as they built their little castle.

Ling patiently guided them, occasionally fixing parts that crumbled or refilling molds that weren’t packed tightly enough. She even crouched down, carefully shaping each part of their sandcastle with great attention. Every time they managed to form a tower, Ratchaya and Natchaya cheered excitedly, proud of their little "castle" slowly taking shape. Ling couldn't help but laugh along with them, savoring the pure and unfiltered joy of her children.

After spending an entire day enjoying their picnic at the beach, Ling and Orm decided to head home as the sun began to set on the western horizon. The sky was painted in shades of golden orange, creating a serene atmosphere, as if wrapping them in the warmth of the sun’s final rays. The twins, Ratchaya and Natchaya, had already changed out of their wet clothes after playing in the water. Their faces still beamed with joy, even though their tiny bodies looked tired from all the fun they had.

Orm, who had prepared a camera and photography equipment, didn’t want to miss the chance to capture this special moment. With swift hands, she set up the camera on a tripod, carefully adjusting the angle to perfectly frame the beach and the breathtaking sunset sky in the background.

"Let’s take a photo first," Orm said with a small, meaningful smile, as if she wanted to capture the happiness they felt that day.

After making sure the camera was ready, Orm ran over to join Ling and the twins. Ling carried Ratchaya in one arm, while Orm held Natchaya close on her side. They stood together in front of the camera, looking into the lens with the stunning sunset and calm sea behind them. The warmth of their little family radiated naturally, their smiles filled with genuine joy.

Click!

The camera shutter sounded several times, capturing every second of happiness reflected in their faces.

In that moment, Ling and Orm exchanged glances, as if remembering the journey they had been through together. Who would have thought that a relationship once filled with challenges would lead them to the happiness they now shared? They felt grateful that every hardship they had faced only strengthened their bond, bringing them to this moment—where they had a complete little family. And deep in their hearts, they silently wished that this happiness would last forever.
