Andhere chupe teri zulf mein, kholo ke raat aazaad ho🤍

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We've safely landed in the capital city of the country. On behalf of my crew, I'd like to welcome all of you to Delhi." The captain of the flight made the announcement.

Kabir and Kiara boarded their flight and have now reached Delhi. They booked separate seats on the plane as well to avoid any gossips or rumours. Kabir was the first one to get off the plane, followed by Kiara.

They didn't meet at the airport either. Both of them individually collected their luggage and walked out of the airport. As expected, paparazzis were already waiting at Indira Gandhi international airport. They started clicking photos of Kiara and asking her random questions. She managed to get into the car that Kabir had previously called for her. His usual driver was the one who picked her up. There was no way he was letting her out of his protection even for a minute.

The drive to Kabir's mansion was a good hour long. Since he was living in a mansion in a city like Delhi, it had to be on the outskirts. The mansion was located in a quiet neighbourhood with very few people living there. Kabir got plenty of privacy and peace there. No paparazzis or fans to disturb either of them.

As the car neared the mansion, Kiara smiled thinking about all the happy memories they had shared in that very mansion.

Both of them stay surrounded by people at all times. In the rare scenario that they get some down time, both of them prefer to stay indoors and low-key. Stay-in movie nights, board games etc. was what they usually would do. Their dates in general were very low-key too. Home-cooked meal, candle-lit dinner table conversations and lots of cuddling.

One of the first things that drew them to each other was how simple they were. Down to earth and connected to their roots. They both were pretty famous individuals and all the success they had in their careers, invited more fame as day passes.

Kiara being a public personality, entrepreneur and model had crazy number of people following and loving her. Kabir being a successful business tycoon had people admiring him since a long time.

When you're a public figure, it gets difficult to stay true to yourself. However much you reveal, people are gonna want more. More information, more details, more explanations and what not. They often forget that people who're open about their professional lives, often want their own personal lives as well. Privacy is what everyone needs and they should get it. Actors are just doing their job when playing a character. Businessman are just sharing their knowledge when in a press conference. There's much more to their lives than what meets the eye and it should be their choice to reveal those aspects of their lives to people.

The car came to a stop, breaking Kiara's chain of thoughts. She thanked the driver and got out of the car. The driver took her luggage and walked behind Kiara, who was headed to the mansion.

"Took you long enough." Kabir said as he welcomed Kiara into the mansion.

"Paparazzis, you know." Kiara briefly replied. She walked towards the kitchen, greeting the familiar staff at Malhotra residence. All of them were loyal and could keep a secret.

"Good afternoon, Kiara." Shanti, the head of the staff greeted Kiara as she stepped into the kitchen.

"Good afternoon Shanti ji. Kaisi hai aap?" Kiara politely said as she gave the woman a brief hug.

How are you?

Out of all the staff at Malhotra residence, Shanti was the only one who shared a warm bond with Kiara. She was the only one who didn't treat her job as a job and actually enjoyed all that she did. She has been with the Malhotra family since Kabir was a kid. She has practically raised Kabir and since she's now in her 50s, she has started to take things lightly around the house. Kabir and Kiara hate to be called sir or ma'am from her so she simply calls them by their name.

"Bilkul theek. Aap kaisi hai? Naye lipstick shades ki success ke liye shubhkamna." Shanti said as she handed a glass of water to her.

All good. How're you? Warm wishes for the success of your new line of lipsticks.

Just then Kabir entered the kitchen, listening to the two women talk.

"Mai bilkul badhiya. Thank you so much." Kiara replied after she chugged her glass of water.

I'm all good.

"Welcome back Kabir." Shanti handed a glass of water to Kabir as well which he accepted, returning her pleasantries.

"Aap dono thak gaye honge, khana bas ready hai; 15-20 minutes aur lagenge. Tab tak aap dono fresh go jaiye." Shanti suggested and Kiara nodded with a smile. She loved Shanti's food so much. She has been looking forward to it the whole flight here.

You two must be tired, the food is almost ready; 15-20 minutes max. Freshen up till then.

"Theek hai." Kabir replied on their behalf and both of them departed to their respective rooms.

Okay.

They haven't done anything more than cuddling or making out in this relationship. They want to cherish their time and not indulge in any sort of carnal needs right now. When in the same house, they mostly do not share a room. Kabir knows how Kiara feels about getting intimate before marriage and he doesn't mind waiting either.

Both of them took a quick shower and got dressed in casual clothes. Kabir was wearing a casual pair of jeans and a white top. Kiara was wearing a cotton chikankari Kurti and white pants with it.

They descended downstairs and noticed the pleasant aroma of Shanti's food filling the air.

They walked to the kitchen and saw all the delicious food that was placed on the island counter. Panner Bhurji, Palak Corn, Jeera Rice and Dal Tadka.

"This smells amazing." Kabir commented as both of them took their seats on the island counter. Kiara nodded in agreement to Kabir's words.

"Thank you. Garam roti banai hai." Shanti informed as she kept two warm flatbreads on their plates. Both of them served themselves and each other the food and started digging in right away.

I'll serve hot flatbreads.

.

It was currently 6 pm.

Kiara was sitting on a swing placed in the garden at the backside of the mansion. She loved spending time here, her favourite spot in the whole house. The weather was gloomy and a bit chill. It felt like it might rain but seeing as it was the month of October, that was less likely to happen.

She was busy reading a book when Kabir approached her with a cup of tea.

"Here." He said as he handed her, her cup and sat beside her.

"Thank you." She said as she took the cup of tea from his hand and continued reading her book, not meeting eyes with him. Kabir mentally pouted at that.

"Kiara? Knock. Knock. Anyone home?" Kabir joked as he lightly knocked on her forehead.

"No one's home." Kiara replied nonchalantly, still busy reading her book.

"Give that to me!" Kabir said and practically snatched the book out of her hands.

"Kabir! I'm nearing the end of this one. I'm very curious to know what happens next." She tried taking the book back from his hand but he doesn't let her have it.

"I'm nearing the end of my patience. You know I need all your attention on me, at all times." Kabir said and she couldn't help but chuckle.

"Aww... my baby." She said and pulled Kabir's cheek.

"Don't." He said in a stern voice but of course Kiara didn't care.

"Come on now. Have your tea." Kabir said as he kept the book aside.

The couple had their cup of tea, indulging in a casual conversation. Kiara is the one who talks a lot and Kabir on the other hand just listens. It was perfect.

She talks, he listens.

"Cup rakh kar aaya." Kabir said as he took Kiara's cup in his hand.

I'll be back after putting the cups away.

"Meri book dedo please." Kaira said but Kabir shook his head.

Give me my book back, please.

He picked the book and before she could stop him, he walked inside the mansion. Kiara pouted at that.

She was busy pouting when she felt wetness on her shoulders and hands. She looked up to realise it has started to rain.

Baarish? Delhi mein? Woh bhi October mei? She thought to herself. She was astonished at the timing of the rain.

It's raining? In Delhi? That too in the month of October?

She stood up from her previous seat and spread her hands to feel the rain on her arms and palms. She looked up towards the sky and started feeling the rain on her face. She closed her eyes and indulged in the feeling.

She has been obsessed with rain ever since childhood. She used to get together with her friends and dance in the rain for a long time. She used to get a lot of scolding from her mother about this habit since she inevitably falls sick the day after but she couldn't care less. Rain used to and always will bring about such feeling of happiness to her. She just couldn't explain it.

Kabir who was walking back towards the entrance of the backyard stopped in his track as he saw the love of his life, dancing in the rain like a small child.

He leaned on the door frame and took a deep breath. He couldn't believe this beauty was his to cherish for the rest of their lives. He captured the scene in front of his eyes, memorising it for years to come.

When Kiara noticed him standing there, she gestured him to join her. He nodded and pulled out his phone to play a song he thought would be appropriate for the situation. He kept the phone at a shaded area and walked towards Kiara.

She was looking absolutely heavenly right now. With that pure smile on her face, she didn't look anything less than an angel. Kabir took a second to admire the beauty up close and he didn't realise when her smile was now on his face. Kiara's heart skipped a beat at the smile he was giving her.

Saanson Ko Saanson Mein Dhalne Do Zara

Dheemi Si Dhadkan Ko Badne Do Zara

Lamhon Ki Guzarish Hai Ye, Paas Aa Jayein

Hum, Hum Tum, Tum,Hum Tum

The song started to play from Kabir's mobile. He clasped her hand with his one hand and wrapped his other one around her waist. He brought her close to himself and started swaying their bodies together.

Both of them were smiling ear to ear and they couldn't help but fall all over again with each other.

Salvatein Kahin, Karvatein Kahin

Phail Jaaye Kajal Bhi Tera

Nazron Mein Ho Guzarta Hua Khwabon Ka Koi Kafila

Jismon Ko Ruhoon Ko Jalne Do Zara

Sharm-O-Haya Ko Machalne Do Zara

Lamhon Ki Guzaarish Hai Ye... Hum Tum

He twirled her around and bought her to his chest once again. Both of them were singing along the lyrics of the song aloud. A sense of gratefulness for each other engulfing their heart.

"I love you, Kabir." Kiara didn't realise when the words slipped out of her mouth.

"I love you more Kiara." Kabir said and connected their lips for a beautiful kiss.

It wasn't the first time they'd say this to each other, in fact this was the same place where they were when they confessed their feelings for each other the first time,  but they didn't confess on a daily basis so whenever they did, it was a special moment for them. Breaking the kiss, Kabir connected their foreheads, both of them basking in the love they shared.

Just then, they heard the horn of a car from a distance and pulled back.

"My parents are here." Kabir said and Kiara nodded with a nervous smile.

"Here we go." She said.
