chapter 207

Thaddeus dodges out his way before kicking him, When Amara suddenly sits up with a gasp.

"Ah my head" she says clutching it while I stared in shock, she was alive. Her eyes glowing gold

yet Emmet still hadn't noticed she wasn't dead as he continued attacking Thaddeus. Both of them

are oblivious to Amara being fine.

Thaddeus punches him making him whimper and Amara looks in his direction and her eyes

blaze even brighter when she sees Thaddeus beating her mate. before she hops up flicking her

wrist, gold light shooting from her fingertips and she growls menacingly at Thaddeus before

jumping on his back. Thaddeus stood immobilised while Amara smacked him on the head with her

palm repeatedly in a fit of rage.

"Stop trying to kill me, you nearly killed my mate you big savage bastard" Thaddeus tries

grabbing her, his hand moving painfully slow as he tries to grab her off his back like he was trying

to break out of a frozen mould.

While we all just stood watching in shock at the sudden change in events when Thaddeus

suddenly breaks out of her magic and grabs her ripping him over his shoulder and they both scuffle,

like two kids chucking a tantrum fighting over a toy and Amara was viciously gouging any part of

him she could when she suddenly bites his arm.

"Get off me you bloody brat" Thaddeus shrieks while Amara refuses to remove her teeth from

his arm.

"Thaddeus Theodore Madden Kane, and Amara Louise Madden Kane stop this instant” Imogen

bellows at them before storming over to them. While each one was trying to get the last hit in, it

was like watching children fight.

"Louise?" Emmet chuckles, making me raise an eyebrow at him.

"Are they always like this?"

"Usually worse” Ryland says getting up and dusting his pants off, like he has seen this play out

a million times. I too got up looking at the destruction Thaddeus had caused.

"That's it, break it up. Don’t make me get Tobias down here” Theo yells, grabbing Amara, she

was still trying to kick him as she was being dragged away from him. While Imogen got between

them. "I'm done, I'm done, they are a pair of idiots" Imgoen says pinching the bridge of her nose.

"He started it, kill my mate you big asshole not so tough now" Amara says as she glares at him.

"They do realise they are in a street right?" Emmet asks, his face flushing red with

embarrassment while people come out of the buildings staring at the two of them slinging names

at each other. Imogen turns, shaking her finger at them like they were disobedient children.

“Now clean this mess up!" Imogen tells them and they both glare at each other, shooting

daggers with their eyes. Amara flicks her wrist, everything suddenly restores, buildings returning to

normal and you wouldn't think anything even happened, metal untwisting and cars turning back

over and people getting up like nothing happened before our eyes.

"Um what's going on” Emmet whispers.

"Amara is cleaning up after Thaddeus, obviously her fear of you dieing and her tantrum, she

managed to steal her magic back. You will get used to their bickering, Amara can usually clean

anything up that's magic induced" Ryland explains though the cafe was still destroyed everything

else was back to normal.

“I still don't get what just happened” Emmet says looking around.

“Amara is light, Thaddeus is dark, together they balance each other. Word of advice though,

stay out of their way” Ryland says, clapping a hand on his shoulder.

"Always cleaning up after you, bloody ridiculous,you touch my mate again and I will zap you to

the next realm”

"I think you're growing on her,” Ryland says, nudging Emmet who was staring at her in awe. So

was I. She just cleaned up the street and now everyone was standing around dazed trying to figure

out what just happened. Amara looks over at Emmet, her eyes lighting up when she tackles him,

knocking him to the ground and kissing his face in a frenzy.

“I am so happy you're alive, I love you, I love you," she shrieks before sitting up. "Never get

between me and my brother, he is big and ugly but I can handle him" she scolds.

"You love me?" Emmet asks, Amara looks at him like he just grew two heads before realising

what she just said, her face turning beet red.

"Yeah you are alright I guess for a man" she says hopping up.

"But you love me"

"Slip of the tongue," she says. I roll my eyes at her, not a serious bone in the girl's body.

Thaddeus shakes himself off, he was a lot calmer now and I finally understood what Thaddeus

meant about having to let the darkness go and why he used to destroy everything he touched, his

demeanor turning calm after releasing his magic though now we just needed to find a healthier way

besides destroying everything, Amara couldn't possibly clean his mess all the time like she just did.

“Where is Orion?” Thaddeus asks, looking around panicked for a second.

“Probably at home” Ryland says and Thaddeus lets out a breath of relief.

“You alright?” I ask him and he shrugs

“I will be when I find that Demetri”

“Now what?" I ask, looking around and I could see Theo talking to the officers, and others

staring at Thaddeus.

“Nothing, Dad will erase everything. I need to get home. I don't know what came over me. I'm

just glad Amara was here before I destroyed everything” Thaddeus says.
