Chapter 3

Samantha's P.O.V.

Wow what the hell has just happened? I have never seen girl as beautiful as this one! Well I am pretty sure she is the most beautiful human being walking on this Earth! Wait, Sam chill please...

Her eyes. Oh boy, you should've seen her eyes! Her piercing eyes. They were gold at one moment then blue, after that completely grey!? That's insane! You probably think I am the one who is insane, even I thought that for a moment. I thought I'm losing my fucking mind! But no! I swear, it really happened. They actually changed color!

I think I will remember the moment we met for a long time, and I don't even know why. Why am I acting like this? Why am I talking like this about her? Why on Earth am I even thinking about her? But that moment when our eyes met, when our hands touched... I thought I would die! Her smile, oh god! Her smile is perfect! Like everything about her. LITERALLY!

*Flashback*

Last hour has finally finished, and I was walking with Ana and Emili out of the building. Damn, how much I missed Elena! I can't even talk properly with these two.

We are going to meet boys next to the front door and wait for Mia to meet us with the new girl. Great, just another new student here. I rolled my eyes at that thought. She will probably be in our "popular" group and I'll need to pretend to like her. Ugh! Ana can't stop talk about her and she didn't even meet her, oh god. We left building and boys were there. They greeted us and then Jon come with his bullshit.

"Do you think she is hot?" we all know who he was talking about. I rolled my eyes again.

"Mia said she is!" Ana said excitedly. I leaned on  the wall of school's building, shadow was covering my face and I closed my eyes.

I guess I have time to introduce myself now. My name is Samantha Mett aka Ice Queen. I'm 17 years old.

My family is the richest one in USA and second richest on the world. Yup, that's me. I have always had good life. Well, I have good life but I am not good, at all. Not anymore. I have wounds, a lot of them actually. But they are invisible and they are the kind that hurts the most.

I go to one of best high school in New York (which is mine btw) and have some friends. I actually never wanted a lot of friends. Even if I wanted I probably wouldn't get them because people are "scared" of me.

Only person I can completely trust is Elena, and now she isn't here. Great! Mia, Ana and Emili are really good persons too, but I don't have that freedom with them like I have with Elena. I have never showed my emotions in front of them.

People here know me as the Ice queen because of that. I turned my emotion off. Literally! I build walls around myself and I have a good reason for that. No one have ever broken my walls... Yet. And I am sure no one will.

I'm captain of school's cheerleader team. Dance relaxes me. Maybe that's one of rare times when i smile, maybe fake but smile is still smile right?

Emili and Elena are part of it too. Elena is my co-captain. Mia and Ana are volleyball players and they are pretty good!

I have never had a boyfriend. I don't even want to. I don't want to connect with someone, I don't even think I can. I can't let someone in.

People used to say I am beautiful, but I think beauty is inside of someone. And please tell me how can someone be beautiful if they are so fucking ugly inside?

Guys would always hit on me when I was normal teenager girl, but that time has passed. Now they are scared to even look at me. But it's not like I care.

Ana's voice brought me out of my thoughts. "Why are you acting like that when you are so fucking perfect?" she asked.

I gave her confused look and then rolled my eyes.  "No one is perfect" I said coldly.

At that moment I heard "Ain't My fault" of Zara Larsson playing somewhere. I am like the biggest fan of Zara! I looked in front of me and saw one girl parking car near us.

Everyone turned around to see who it was. I couldn't see her well because of all the people who was there. She parked not so far of us and then climbed out.

That's the moment when I leaned my eyes on the most beautiful girl I have ever seen! Her long black hair going down her back. Black skinny jeans and red blouse. She took something from passenger seat still music playing really loudly.

"I can't talk right now, I'm looking and I like what I'm seeing

Got me feeling kinda shocked right now

Could've stopped right now, even if I wanted

Gotta get it, get it, get it, while it's hot right now

Oh my god, what is this?

Want you all in my business

Baby, I insist, please don't blame me for whatever happens next"

This part of song that played right now was literally explaining how I felt when she run her hand through her beautiful long, black hair and took the red beanie which says "Bad hair day" and put it on. What the hell! She was so freaking hot! Oh god!

The music turned off. She looked around and noticed that everyone, literally everyone was staring at her with their mouth wide opened.

Ana gasped when the girl looked our way. Then she smiled! Guys were speechless like everyone else. I was pretty sure she couldn't see me because shadow was hiding my face.

"Do you remember when I said no one is perfect?" I Asked.

No one even bothered to turn around and look at me, they just nodded.

"Well forget that shit, because this girl is fucking perfect!" I said and they turned with shocked expression on their faces.

"It's true!" Ana said. "I really need to know this girl."

I took another glance at mysterious girl and she was now casually leaning on her car with her arms crossed over her chest.

Every guy and girl was looking at her, and at that moment Mia ran through the front door. Girl seemed to see her so she took few steps toward us when Mia jumped on her wrapping her arms and legs around girl. I looked at them, they both crying while kissing each other. It was so adorable! They were like sisters. But I couldn't watch it anymore, so I went inside.

After some time I saw She reject Jon and I smiled at that. I think she is only girl that rejected Jon! Ever! Mia introduce her with our friends and I went outside to meet girl myself.

Oh god, her voice! Melody for my ears, most beautiful sound I have ever heard! When our eyes met I died for a moment. When our hands touched I felt like they were meant to hold each other. Oh what the hell am I talking about!?

Maybe I won't need to pretend to like this new girl...

End of flashback

Now we are waiting outside for her and Mia to come back from Principal. Everyone (except Jon of course) are here waiting for them.

"I really can't believe I met such a beautiful girl!" said Emili.

"I know right! Plus she seems to be really kind."  Ana added without  blinking.

"Well, lucky you! You will spend more time with her than us obviously." Emili said with sad smile. Oh she is bi! Bisexual!

"Do you really already have crush on her, Emili? Like seriously?" I asked and rolled my eyes. She blushed slightly.

"Well.. Umm.."

"Whatever" I said coldly not wanting to hear it.

"But seriously Sam you have to admit it, she is hot" said Ana.

I rolled my eyes again and couldn't even answer because Emili said

"And we all saw how this guys were looking at her. Not just guys, girls too! I can bet that even half of school or even more already have crush on her!" It was Tom's time to roll his eyes.

"Girls, just chill okay? You both will meet her because she is best friend of my girl. And I am pretty sure we are going on lunch now with her."

What? Lunch with her? Now? Oh my god!

"Seriously?" they both asked in unison, they were so excited.

Tom smiled "Yep!"

Oh god, oh god! Wait... Why am I even so excited?

"Did you all come in school with yours car?" Tom asked. It was weird of him to ask this.

"I did." said Ana.

"Same" answered Emili quickly.

"What about you, Sam?" he asked.

"Me too." I said lazily.

"Eh, too bad then." he said with devilish smile. I had confused expression on my face.

"What do you mean?" asked Ana like she was reading my mind.

"Well if you didn't, you would probably drive with Dušica when we leave for a lunch" he said casually leaning on Mia's car.

"You are fucking kidding me right?" Ana gasped.

"No, I am not!" he said. "Because I come to school with Jon today, I will drive Mia's cara while she'll be with her friend. "

"Fuck!" cursed Emili. It was really weird to hear her do that because she actually never curse.

"Do you guys even know how to pronounce her name?" asked Tom. Well to be honest I didn't.

"I heard Mia saying that all the time so I remembered it. Well, I hope it's good. I wouldn't like her to think it's so complicated for me..." Ana mumbled.

"We'll just ask her to teach us." said Emili.

Yeah, I can already see how annoying they are going to be! Poor girl!

Dušica P.O.V.

After meeting Mia's friends we went to see principal. Building inside was amazing!

"Do you like it?" Mia asked in clear Serbian.

"Yeah, it's amazing." I said with smile and looked at her. "I missed you so much, you know that?"

"I missed you too, love!" she said and pulled me into her. She hugged tightly. I was enjoying her smell. It was exactly same as I remembered.

"Come on, principal is waiting for us." she said and pulled away.

"You are on edge of crying! Again..." I said while watching her face.

"Oh shut up!" she said and punched my arm playfully.

"Ouch! That hurts!"

"Oh my god! Sorry!"

"I was kidding Mia" I almost bursted out of laughing but it still was so cute!

"You are such an idiot!"

"Yeah, I am. But you love this idiot." I smirked.

"Nahh... don't be so confident."

We both laughed. I was thinking about Sam. Maybe I should ask Mia to tell me something about her.

"Mia?"

"Hmm?"

"Who is that Sam girl?" I watched how her expression changed.

"Well, don't mess with her. She is so called Ice queen of this school." she rolled her eyes.

"What do you mean?" I was confused.

"Well, she has never showed her emotion to anyone, except to her best friend. Ever! She is so cold to people. She barley laugh or smile. Even if she does, it's all fake! Everyone here are afraid of her. She is also the queen Bee."

"Wait, but why are people afraid of her?"

"She is daughter of richest couple in USA and she have that power to expel anyone from this school just with one simply call. Also did you see her eyes?" oh yes I did! They were the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen! I got lost in them. They were blue like sea and they were shining.

"People are afraid to look her in the eyes, because they are afraid of it." she giggled then looked at me "I would be more afraid of yours!"

I blushed slightly and she laughed even more.

"You are not funny!" I said and pushed her playfully.

"Oh, yes I am!" and then we both laughed.

After two more minutes we came in front of big black door.

"Here we are." she said. "Should I come with you or?"

"Yes, you should! You are my best friend and I want you by my side."

"Chill, Dušica, it's not like he is going to kill you" she rolled her eyes.

"I am not sure anymore!" I smiled as she giggled.

I knocked two times and heard faint "come in"

I opened the door and Mia and I walked in. I saw man around his forty writing something down. He has black hair and green eyes. Next to him was standing some woman about my ages. She had long, brown hair and perfect body. Is she a student?

Anyway, no one of them bothered to look at us. I guess this woman was waiting for him to give her the paper. I gave Mia confused look and she just rolled her eyes. Then man finished his writing and looked at woman next to him.

"Here Ms. Smith, this is your schedule for this new student, so like I said she was one of the best in London so I am pretty sure she won't have any problem with your classes." he said and gave the woman papers. Wow she was my teacher?

"We are here by the way." Mia said and laughed a little. I smiled at how careless my best friend is.

They both looked at us with their eyes wide opened and jaws almost touching floor. I wanted to laugh so bad. I looked over at Mia who was biting her bottom lip to stop her from laughing.

I couldn't stop myself, I let out one low chuckle and not long after Mia joined me. Man and woman looked at each other. Then principal get up from his chair and walked around his table to stand in front of us. He looked at me and tilted his head.

"Are you sure you are on right place?"

I gave him confused look and he just smiled which made me even more confused.

"I mean, casting for Victoria's Secrets isn't here."

Um unprofessional? But anyway I felt how heath rised up to my face and I really didn't know what to say.

"Oh, yeah I know sir."  Mia said and we all looked at her. She had that big grin on her face. "But I just wanted to meet my friend with you and then I'll go there. I'm sure they are waiting for me!" she winked to me and we all laughed. "Hey, I was serious!" she groaned.

"Oh, we know you were." Man said. God, he even pretended to wipe his fake tears away. Wow this guy was pretty cool. He looked at me again and said. "Anyway, I'm glad to finally meet you Ms. Nikolić" he said and I gave my best to stop myself from laughing at how he pronounce my last name.

He saw my expression and chuckled "You can laugh if you want because I know I pronounced it wrong." and right then like on cue Mia started laughing like crazy.

I looked over at her and saw her holding her tummy.

"I am so sorry sir." she said after she calmed down. "But that really was hilarious!"

"Oh, I know I am funny Mia." then he looked at me and hold out his hand while saying "I'm principal of this school, Mr. Nicolson."

I took his hand immediately and shook it.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Nicolson. I'm Dušica, Dušica Nikolić." I said with best smile I could menage.

"Oh, so that's how you pronounce that!"

"Yes, sir!" i said with smile.

He looked over to woman next to his chair where he was sitting when we came in. I almost forgot she was there. I looked at her as well and then she smiled. Aww her smile is so cute!

"Oh, I almost forgot!" he said with apologetic look. "This is your new favourite teacher!"

Wait... What? Teacher? Seriously dude? I smiled while she rolled her eyes.

"Ms. Smith, your English teacher." she said while holding her hand to shake it.

Her voice was so beautiful.

I took her hand and looked her  directly in the beautiful forest green eyes.

"Nice to meet you ma'am" i said and couldn't decide should I say what was on my mind but I decided to tell it anyway. "I need to be honest, when we come in I thought you were student." here, I said it.

I saw her blushing and heard Mia and principal giggle. I giggled as well!

"Well, yeah! She is pretty young and this is her first year teaching so I hope you won't give her any troubles." said principle and eyed me.

"You shouldn't worry about that, sir!" I said with big smile.

He smiled back at me and walked around his table and sit in his chair.

"You two may sit down" he motioned us to sit on chair and couch in other side of table. Mia hurried and sat on chair. I rolled my eyes and sat on couch.

"You, Ms. Smith can stay with us and meet our new student more or you can go if you have something else to do" he said and looked at brown haired woman next to him.

She bit her lip like she was debating with herself what to do. Then she looked over at me and sighed.

"I can stay" she gave me warm smile and came to sit next to me. Oh god!

"So, Dušica I heard you were one of the best student back in England, right?" I blushed and they chuckled.

"Yes, I guess that's true"

"That's really great! Also I heard that you are really good volleyball player." he said with big smile on his face.

I smiled too, just mention of volleyball can make me smile.

"Really good?" asked Mia with confused expressions on her face. We all looked at her. She was glaring Mr. Nicolson and then she looked back at me and smile. "She is literally the best! I swear I have never seen anyone play as good as she!" I bushed even more.

Oh my, I am pretty sure I looked like tomato! Screw you Mia!

"Well that's great, we need one more player before league starts. So, your first day is on Monday and here's your schedule." he said and gave me my schedule, and I look at it, I have same classes every day and that was so cool.

3. P.E.

Lunch

I frowned at fact that I will start my day with math but it still was great.

"This is great!" I said with smile.

"You will be with Mia on every class by the way. I did that so you wouldn't feel lonely but now I see that would be your last problem!" he chuckled. "Also you have forth class too, but you need to pick what will that be. That's some of languages."

"Which language are there?" I asked because I speak ten.

"Well, we have French, Spanish and Italian." he said.

"Oh god, seriously?" I asked and sigh. He looked at me with confused expression.

"What's the problem?"

"Well... I speak all of them actually. I just hoped I will have opportunity to learn some new language."

His, and Ms. Smith's jaws were on the floor. Once again. I looked over at Mia who was fighting with herself to not burst out laughing! I rolled my eyes and she put one hand over her mouth.

"You speak all of mentioned?" asked my English teacher. I looked at her and nodded.

"Yes, I actually speak ten languages. That's what is excepted of you when you are Nikolić." I said and shrugged.

They just looked at each other. And didn't know what to say. It passed few moments and principal decided to speak againm

"Well, that's really impressive! I guess you will need to pick one you love the most then. " he said and gave me apologetic smile.

"Then, that's absolutely French!" I said happily.

"Then we finished this. So every day you will have four classes and after that you have volleyball practice, starting on Monday. Well, actually they need to pick you to play for our team and you'll show them what you can do on Monday. If you get in, and I don't doubt it after what Mia said, you start with practice every day after your forth class and weekend at 7 in the morning." Mia and I both groaned and he and Ms. Smith just giggled.

"Oh and also, girls you will be together with cheerleaders. I hope you don't mind it but you will have practice together every day. They will be with you every game this year. And I really hope we will got trophy this time!" I smiled at how positive this guy was.

"Oh don't worry about that sir." said Mia "With Dušica by our side we will win every game! I promise you that"

"Wow, you are so confident!" woman next to me said.

"Hey, I just believe in my best friend!" said Mia and winked. We all laughed.

"I hope so!" said principal and smiled warmly at us.

"Anyway, I guess you are tired of your trip and I won't bother you anymore. You may go." he said and smiled once again. I smiled too.

"Thank you so much for everything!" I said and Mia and I got up. Ms. Smith got up as well.

"I should go too Mr. Nicolas."

"No problem! See you on Monday Dušica." he said while we were leaving.

"Goodbye!" tree of us said in unison.

When Mia closed the door we all laughed. It was funny how I actually laughed with my teacher right now.

"So, Dušica" she started "If you need help about anything you can count on me" she put her hand on my shoulder and smiled. I smiled back

"Thank you so much! It really means a lot!"

"I'll leave you two now" as she said that she went on other side of hallway. I looked at her way little more then I should and I heard Mia speaking on Serbian again.

"I thought we will never left that room!" she breathe out and I laughed.

"Same! Oh my god, this man is so funny to talk to!"

"Yeah, I know right!"

"Oh, by the way, this English teacher... Umm, how old is she?"

"She is 23! First day she came I thought she is student too!"

"Well she looks like one." i said with smile. "Mia?"

"Yes?"

"Do you think I will be accepted in the team?" I was kinda nervous.

She stopped walking and I realized that just when I was about three meters in front of her. I turned and saw her staring at me like I was the stupidest person ever!

"What?"

"Do you really think they won't accept you? I mean, damn girl, you are the best!"

"But-" I tried to speak  just to be interrupted by her.

"No ifs, buts or ands! You will be in, I know that. Come on now" she said and walked towards me. "Guys wait for us outside, we  are going to get some Lunch!"

"Oh god, I forgot they are waiting for us!" I said and remembered that Sam is there too. And just like that I got excited! What the hell is going on with me? I hope I will find out soon.
