Chapter 2

Dušica's P.O.V.

I was sitting on some beautiful beach. No one was around. I could hear song of birds around me and it was so relaxing. Sunset is coming. It's making sea and sky look like joined. I am about to get up and swim... But I was pulled away.

"Honey, wake up, we are almost here" comes voice of my dad.

That's how my perfect dream was ended. I groaned and shook my head in disbelief because I was in shock that I actually slept all this time. Oh my god! I looked through the window and saw beautiful pictures of nature.

"How much until we land?" I asked with my sleepy voice.

"Just a few more minutes baby girl" mom answered.

I rolled my eyes at her baby nickname. I am not little girl anymore people! I am 17 for god's sake! I decided to just ignore it and ask another question.

"So, flight is on time, right?"

"Right."

"Great, so I can go to pick up Mia from school. I really miss her!" I sad excitedly.

If you wonder how I know how to get to Mia's school, well that's easy. I know New York maybe even better than London. Every Summer and winter I would go there and spend time with my grandparents at their home. My grandparents have a lot of houses there, and all of that will belong to my mom, because she is their only child. But, even if we always lived in luxury, I am not that spoiled rich kid.

Well, All I need to have are cars and dogs. That's my sickness. I got so many cars. But my favourite is one which is just here. Lamborghini, made specially for me, that's my baby, literally. Everyone look at it when I drive by.

People say I'm beautiful, but I don't really see that. I have long black hair. I am 175cm tall, and my weight is 60kg. It's kinda perfect, but favourite thing about myself are my abs. I worked so hard for them. I have never been on diet tho and I have never watch specifically what I eat. It's just practice, I used to go running every day for about 30 miles and then gym. Fifteen miles early in the morning and 15 in the afternoon, when night is falling. That's my favourite time.

The thing that confuse me the most are my eyes. They are pretty weird, they literally change colors. They can be blue, green, grey and even gold... Sometimes all this colors are mixed together and it used to scare people away from me. Oops.

Finally I saw we are landing. Great. After couples minutes we were out of plane, and on airport.

My grandpa were already waiting for us out. He was tall man, and really good looking for his ages. When he saw me he spread his hands and I run like little kid to hug him.

He hugged me back and I heard him mumble "I missed you so much Duki" oh yes he just called me that.

Everyone laughed and I just rolled my eyes and smiled.

"I missed you too grandpa" I pulled away and let mom get chance to hug her dad.

"Where is grandma?" I asked when I realized he was alone here.

He rolled his eyes "You know your grandmother, Duki, she stayed at home and made plenty of food for you three." we all laughed again and went in the car.

When we were in, he told his driver to drive us home.

While we were driving, we talked about everything that happened for this past few years since we last time saw each other.

After about half an hour of driving we came in front of their property. We waited for other guys who worked for them to open the gate.

Mansion it was, amazing, too big for my taste but it's not like I'm complaining. It has big pool in front yard, and biggest underground garage I have ever seen. And there is my baby. But I needed to wait some time to go there and see it.

We went out of the car and grandpa put his arm around my shoulder and whispered in my ear "I took good care of her for you, don't worry."

"Thank you grandpa" I said and gave him kiss on the cheek.

We went inside and he called for grandma.

"Honey, we are here!"

I loved how after all the years of marriage they are still close. Few moments after that I saw grandmother rushing down the hall toward us.

"My little girl is finally here" grandma said and gave me bones breaking hug. I smiled widely, I missed her so much.

"I missed you so much grandma" I said and she finally let go of me.

"Look at you, oh my god, you are all grown up" she teased and I couldn't help but laugh at this.

"It was just two years since we last time saw each other".

"It's not just for me darling."

I was ready to answer but we heard someone clearing their troat. I turned and saw it was my mom.

"Hey, mom, your daughter is here too, in case you missed her" we all laughed at how silly my mom is.

I left them to have that mother-daughter time and followed my dad and grandpa in the living room. My suitcases were already unpacked in the room upstairs so I didn't really have anything to worry about.

After couples of  minutes of talk we all went to dinning room and sat around the big table.

There was everything I loved. I couldn't believe they remembered everything. Wow, just wow. We ate so good, meal was amazing.

I excused myself and went to my room. Ah I can't wait to took off this clothes. Room was just like I left it. Beige walls. King size bed in the middle, night table next to it. Table with computer. One window with beautiful view. Then door of the big bathroom and next to it, walk-in closet.

I went to the bathroom and stripped my clothes. Damn I was so sweaty. Eww! I took one long shower, after that went out, brushed my hair and teeth. I dressed up some Victoria's secret black underwear and walked out.

I looked at the wall watch and saw It is already 2:40 pm here. Wow I couldn't believe I already was here for 2 hours. Mia will finish at 3 and I have about 15minutes driving so I should dress up.

Hmm my dresser was full so how the hell am I supposed to pick something to wear?

I walked in and watched around for few minutes until I saw something I liked. Black ripped skinny jeans and red blouse. I was looking for my favourite beanie, but I remembered I had left it in car so it's probably still there. Even if it practically still was summer I would always wear beanies. It was like my mark.

I dressed up quickly and went downstairs. Hearing voices in the living room, I went there.

"I'm leaving, Mia is probably waiting!" I said to them and waved.

"Okay, honey. Say Hi to her" mom said and I nodded.

I was ready to leave when I remembered something.

"Grandpa, where are the keys of my baby?" I asked and he rolled his eyes.

"It's already waiting for you outside." I smiled at how cute he is.

"Thanks, grandpa, you are the best!" I kissed his cheek and ran outside.

Waiting for me, there was the best car you have ever seen. Damn how much I loved it! It is mat black. You probably thought how it would be red or pink or whatever girls love. But nope. My favourite color is black, I know it's weird.

I jump in and smelled that good smell of leather. I smiled to myself, put key in and rolled window down. I looked at my phone and saw it was 2:50 now.

"Fuck!" I cursed out loud.

Okay, I guess I'll just need to be fast. I pull the gas and went through gate. Driving down the street I realized something is missing. Oh, yeah, music! It was red light so I opened the drawer and saw a lot of CDs and on top of it my red beanie! Yes, I know it will be here. I put beanie on passengers seat and just turned on the radio. It was green again and I pushed gas.

I have 3 more minutes before classes end. It was busy road and I couldn't drive any faster. On every stop everyone would stare at my baby which would usually make me smirk.

I came in schoolyard and Zara's song "Ain't my fault" was playing in my car.

Everyone here was looking at me and I was trying to find a way to some place on parking lot close to the front door. And I saw one empty.

Boys and girls, my ages and younger was leaving the building. I stopped at one place near front door so Mia could easily see me. I opened the door while everyone was staring at me once again, I hate when people do that, like seriously, what is so interesting about me?

This amazing song was still loud played and it will only stop after car is locked. I took beanie from passenger's seat and put it on. It was simple dark red colored beanie which says "Bad hair day".

I looked over to front door and saw group of two girls whose back were facing me, I think they were talking with other girl but I couldn't see her, and two boys who I recognized like Mia's boyfriend and his best friend from pictures she has sent me before.

Their mouth were wide opened while they were looking at me. I smiled and wondered where the hell is Mia. I leaned on hood of my car and crossed my arms while waiting for her.

Then I saw her running out of the school building towards me. My beautiful best friend. Her orange hair was all over her face, she was wearing all black, and it looked amazing on her.

I noticed that all people were looking at us but I couldn't care less right now. I walked towards her  with tears of joy in my eyes.

Then her angelic voice screamed "Dušicaaaa!"

I smiled at her and she then jumped on me, her legs wrapped around my waist and her arms around my neck. I placed my arms at her small back holding her tightly. She kissed every part of my face and I giggled and tightened my grip around her.

"I missed you so so so much" she said.

"I missed you too Mia" was all I could say before burying my face in the crock of her neck. I was little taller than her so it was possible.

She jumped down and gave me bone-breaking hug. She was on her toes so she could kiss me and that was so fucking adorable. I kissed her forehead and put my hands on both sides of her face and tried to whip all that tears with my thumb.

"Please, don't cry" was all I managed to say.

"But it was two years since last time we saw each others" then she broke down in front of me.

It breaks my heart to see her like this. I pulled her into me, her head now resting on my chest.

"Shh baby, it's okay. I love you!" I said and kissed the top of her head. I realized all people was silent and no one was moving.

"I love you too!" She calmed down and pulled away. "But you are crying too!" she added and just then I realized I was crying all this time.

"That's because I am allowed to!" I said with smile and whipped tears away.

I'm really glad I have never really wore make up.

"Come on Now, I want you to meet my friends and you have to go to talk to the principal." She said and took my hand.

"Did you forget to talk Serbian or what?" I asked on clear Serbian which made her laugh.

"Of course not, but I would love to talk on English here so people wouldn't feel uncomfortable." she answered on Serbian.

"It makes sense." I said and kissed her cheek.

"Of course it does!" she come back with English again. "When something I said didn't make sense?" she asked way too serious.

I was ready to answer when she stopped on her track which made me  look at her.

"Please don't answer that" she said with the cutest puppy dog eyes ever.

I laughed at her and shook my head in disbelief. I looked over to see all the people still here looking at us.

"Why the hell they need to stare like that? That's creepy!" I said.

"Well... Probably because I am one of the most popular girls in this school and you are hot as hell!" she teased.

"Oh, I know I am hot but I am not sure for first part." I played along.

"Well, you'll see." she said playfully.

I was ready to answer when I bumped into someone. I almost fell down but Mia caught me. Damn, this wasn't officially even my first day at school and I made idiot out of myself. Great.

"Jon, you idiot! Watch where you're going! " I heard Mia practically yelling at a guy. I looked up and saw pair of beautiful blue eyes looking at me.

"Why I need to make everyone fall for me?" he asked with very hoarse voice.

I looked blankly at him. Is he for real?

"Would you like to go on a date with me?"

Wow wow, did I really hear this right? I rolled my eyes at how confident this guy is.

"Of course" I looked how one big smirk started appearing on his face "I wouldn't" i finished and that smirk left as fast as it came.

I took Mia's hand and lead her past him. She laughed like everyone who still was there. I smiled at myself. While we was going to the front door I heard people whisper to each other something like

"Who is this girl?" "Oh, is this that new girl?" "Damn, she is hot" "Some new meat!" wow that was disgusting!

There were comment of girls too like

"I wish I have her hair!" "I wish I look like her" "Who is this bitch that has literally made every guy droll over her?"

Next to the door, still was those people I saw before (Mia's friends) just without one boy, Jon obviously.

"So" Mia started when we reached them "This are my friends: Emili" she motioned with her hand girl with blonde hair.

She smiled warmly to me and gave me her hand to shake it and I immediately took it.

"It's pleasure to finally meet you!"she said.

"It's nice to meet you too Emili. I'm Dušica." I said with my perfect British accent.

I saw in her eyes that she would die to hear it more. I smiled at fact that Americans adored British accent.

"This is Ana" Mia kept introducing me with other girl. "She is the captain in a volleyball team"

I nodded and gave the girl warm smile, "I heard you are very good at volleyball!" she said while I smiled even bigger.

"Well, you can say that."

"She is literally the best!" Mia interrupted "No offense Ana." she said with apologetic look.

I chuckled at my best friend. Ana just smiled. She had perfect curly hair, god.

"And" Mia said while wrapping her arm around some really nice guy's shoulder. "This is my boyfriend Tom" I smiled.

"Woah, so I'm finally meeting this perfect guy who makes my girl happy, right?" I asked. "Her words, not mine."

He looked down at Mia who blushed really hard. I laughed a little with two other girls. He kissed the top of her head.

"I guess that's me" he said and looked up at me again. "And sorry for what happened with Jon, he is just an idiot sometimes but still my best friend". I smiled

"Well, I know how is it when you have idiot for a best friend" I looked at Mia then who haven't even realized what I've told yet.

"Oh god, you're talking about me!" she yelled and punched my arm playfully. I laughed along with everyone.

"Well, good morning Columbus!" I said ironically.

"Bitch" she said still laughing.

"I love you too" I said and kissed her cheek.

"I don't know who said I love you!" she tried acting dumb.

Guys were laughing hilariously. I wrapped one arm around her shoulder and pulled her to me

"Well... I guess you said that, few minutes ago!" and then I placed kisses all over her left cheek. She just giggled and that was adorable.

I let go of her and noticed just few more people was here. We stayed there a bit more and I was about to walk in with Mia and go to talk to the principal. But right then I heard the most beautiful voice on this Earth. So angelic and gentle, but kinda cold? I don't know how to explain.

"So, it's not even your first day and you already break people's hearts."

I saw expressions of people in front of me changed and it was really weird. It seemed like they were scared. Like really really scared for a moment. I didn't bother to turn and see who it was. Big smirk appeared on my face.

"Well, maybe you can be the next one. Who knows?"

Then something change in expression of my new friends. It was like they were worried or even more scared? I don't know...

I finally decided to turn around and see who I was talking to.

Then I found myself standing couples inches away from the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.

Her beautiful blonde hair and her beautiful baby blue eyes. Her beauty was breathtaking. She smiled at me and I couldn't help but smile either. I tried to say something but it was so hard. After couples moments staring at each others I finally managed to say something.

"I'm really sorry I said that, I thought it was just another guy."

"So, I really have that manly voice?" she frowned and I opened my mouth to say something but...

I looked at frown on her face and thought how her face were made only for smiles.

"Oh, no! That's not... Uh that's not what I thought." she just smiled and showed me her perfect dimples.

Oh my god! I almost died right there and then. She held out her hand for me to sake it. I took it without thinking and I felt eruption of butterflies in my stomach. I felt some weird shiver down my spine. Then I heard her angelic voice again.

"I'm Samantha Mett. Or Sam for short."

"Nice to meet you Sam. I'm Dušica Nikolić." I said with smile. She smiled too and let my hand go. I really didn't know why but I just wanted her to never let go of my hand.

She wasn't like the other girls... She has something in her eyes. Something I couldn't put my finger on. It was a lot of mixed feelings, like sadness, loneliness. She looked mature. Much more mature then otherd and I really wanted to know her better.
