I was shocked listening to his words. Akshaya was gaping at us looking from him to me.

"I should start from now", I stated.

"Yes and I think you are not that dumb. Don't make me repeat my words", Abhi warned. "There will be a contract with Karthik and he will tell you your job, Ms. Arya. Now follow me", he ordered and we both trailed behind him.

We all gather in the lift. Abhi was busy on his mobile, Akshaya was trying to ask me questions with her eyes and me ignoring her. I will deal with her later. After reaching the ground level his secretary was waiting there with another person, his security maybe.

"James, drop my sister at the house", Abhi ordered the person, the person who may be his head of security nodded his head. Abhi signaled me to follow him. I waved at Akshaya and followed him. Karthik opened the driver seat and Abhi sat inside. I climbed into the backseat.

Karthik started telling him his schedule. I was listening to everything. I started recording it on my mobile so that I will not miss a thing. After telling his schedule Abhi added some meetings and adjusted some timings for the meetings. He had many online conferences in a single day.

"Karthik show Ms. Arya her cabin and what she must do. Take her signature onTop the contract I sent you yesterday", Abhi ordered him. I was shocked he made a contract.

We reached the office. I have been here many times. I follow both of them as a lost puppy. Even though I visited here often, I don't know this place well. We all get into what looked like a private elevator. I was silent on the ride. They both discussed something about an important meeting which I understood briefly. The elevator doors opened and we all got down. I followed them into the office, as I was about to enter the cabin, Karthik stopped me.

"Please wait here, Ms. Arya. I will be back in a minute and will tell you about your job", Karthik sir informed me. I nodded my head. When I came to the office all greeted Mr. Goenka and Karthik. They all greeted them as Sir. So, I was going to call the same. I observed my surroundings as I didn't get time to focus. I found a reception near the elevator. I went there to see if anyone is present.

I found a girl of my age. She saw me and got terrified.

"Good morning mam, how may I help you", she greeted me and tried to hide her nerves.

"Hey, I am Avni Arya. I am about to be Mr. Goenka's assistant. You don't need to address me as mam", I replied to her politely. She huffed after listening to me.

"I thought you were his girlfriend or something. Here you are just his assistant. You are not even beautiful", she replied.

I thought she was a decent girl, but if she is not what can I do? I left her there leaving her calling my name. I stood outside the cabin and took my phone out. I messaged Anu that I will be coming home in the evening and explain to her some things. I saw Akky's messages but ignored them I'll deal with them later. Karthik sir came out of the room in 5 minutes and asked me to follow him. He stopped at the cabin next to Mr. Goenka. We entered the cabin. It was small. It only had a table with a system on it and a chair. Two cupboards are filled with different files and the total room is dusty.

"Is this where I am going to work?", I couldn't hide my shocked expression.

"According to sir's instructions you have to start working from morning 8 to 7 in the evening. You will have one hour break for lunch. And the most important thing is you should be with Mr. Goenka all the time. He will be staying here for 10 more days. In that time you can learn all things required from me. You should shift as he will be spending a lot of time in the main office", Karthik sir said in one go.

"Sir, why do Mr. Goenka need an assistant if he has you", I asked the question which was bothering me. Karthik sir sighed.

"Because I will be dealing with other things and I may not be near sir all the time. I don't know what sir saw in you", he muttered under his breath I heard that and felt disappointed. "Here read the contract and sign it. It has all the information you should know", he handed me some documents and left. I sighed. I know that he is loyal to his employer, I think he hates me as I humiliated him. I started reading the document.

Employment contract:

Employee: Avni Arya Date:

Terms:

. Should work under the company for one year. No resignation for that period.

. The salary will be 100,000 ($1355) per month. Salary will be increased according to the performance.

. Housing will be provided by the company.

. Transport allocations will be provided.

. Should be ready to travel at any time.

Responsibilities:

. Should obey his orders without questioning them.

. Should give him coffee according to his taste three times a day.

. Should not disrespect him.

Signature:

I frowned after reading them they were some weird requests in them. I wanted to confirm some things with him directly. I left my so-called dusty cabin to find Karthik sir. I remembered him telling me that his cabin was beside mine. I went to his cabin and find him working on some files. I knocked on the door to get his attention and he lifted his head and frowned seeing me.

"Yes?", he asked me.

"I have some doubts regarding this contract", I pointed towards the papers in my hand. Before he can give me an answer the phone rang. He answered the call.

"Yes Mr. Goenka", Karthik sir answered in a professional voice and sat straight. He became stiff. He listened to everything the other person said.

"Yes sir", Karthik hung the phone and looked at me with a scowl. "Sir is calling you to his cabin. Leave", he ordered me. I came out of his cabin and went to Mr. Goenka's. I went inside without knocking as he was expecting me and got a shock.

He was there sitting in his chair with a beautiful lady on his lap and were kissing. My heart broke. They still didn't notice me. I knocked on the door. And both lifted their heads. The woman sitting on his lap is the receptionist. I was waiting for her to leave but she didn't she was rooted on his lap.

"Yes, Ms. Arya", Mr. Goenka asked me. She was kissing his neck now.

"Sir, I want to speak about the contract", I struggled to keep my tone polite.

"As you can see I am busy come after an hour", he replied and started kissing her again making some noises. I need to leave this place before I lose my sanity. I turned to leave but he stopped me.

"As your first task clean the room assigned to you and arrange all the files according to the year", I didn't show the shocked expression on my face. "And please close the door, I don't want any disturbances" after that words left his mouth I slammed the door shut.

I tried to control my emotions. I rushed to the washroom, I didn't want others to notice my expression. I went into a stall and locked the door. I cried silently cursing him in my mind. After 10 min I gained my composure and I came out of the stall. Luckily, no one is outside so I went near a mirror and washed my face. I looked up and came face-to-face with my pale red-eyed face. I chuckled humorlessly at my reflection.

"Avni this is not you. You will not cry over a man who can't keep his part in his pants. You want to be a part of the company. So, I'll be professional", I gave a pep talk. I waited till water got dried on my face. I smiled at my reflection, "It is just a crush not love". I left the washroom and saw that the receptionist was not in her place. I tried to be strong and left for my cabin and started cleaning it.

Abhi

When she came out of the room dressed in that I couldn't control my emotions. I wanted to see her for the whole day so I ordered her to come to the office with me. I ignored her question and gave her an answer, which I know will hurt her, I ignored her in the lift and tried to focus on my work. After getting to ground level both Karthik and James were there waiting for me.

"James, drop my sister at the house", I ordered him. I don't want to deal with my sister now. I get into the driver's seat of my car. I internally chuckle at the memory of my last car. I wanted Avni to sit beside me but I ignored the urge to ask her to sit beside me when she climbed into the back seat. Karthik started telling me my schedule. I made some adjustments and added some more things. I wanted to take Avni to a meeting today. Let's see if it happens. In the journey, I saw Avni in the rearview mirror and noticed her recording everything. intelligent girl.

"Karthik show Ms. Arya her cabin and what she must do. Take her signature on the contract I sent you yesterday", I ordered. I planned to show her everything for her but know I need to keep a professional relationship with her.

We reached the office and handed the car keys to the driver and went inside. Avni and Karthik behind me. The office was in frenzy. All wanted to wish me for being the CEO and my first day in this branch meant a lot to them. Our main branch was Delhi but it changed to New York as our company's economy increased. My family takes care of business in India while I take care of it in foreign countries.

We all get into the elevator. We reached the top-floor, I found the receptionist giving Avni a stink eye in my peripheral. I shook my head at her, she will be fired if she behaved like this. We reached my cabin and I went inside first Karthik followed me. I sat in my chair staring at the door waiting for her to enter.

"Sir, she is not going to come inside", I broke out of my thoughts hearing this and scowled at him. I didn't like that. "Sir, you informed me yesterday to make her hate you and keep her far from you", he replied to me.

"Yes, I think it will be better for both of us. Tell her that the cabin next to mine is hers and explain to her about her job. Treat her like your assistant for 10 days as she will be learning everything from you and give her the agreement", I handed him the agreement which I made last night. We discussed some business and Karthik left. I switched on the cameras present on the floor. I observed her while she was listening to Karthik and when she was reading the contract. She looked adorable. I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in", I ordered and the receptionist came inside. She walked seductively to my desk and bend down to give me a clear view of her cleavage. I scowled at her.

"Ms. leave this room or you will be unemployed the next second", I ordered her in a serious tone.

She shivered and came and stood beside me, her perfume is strong compared to Avni's. Avni's perfume had a light fragrance to it and is vanilla flavored. I smiled at that thought.

I felt her pointy nails draw down my face and I came out of my daydreaming, I don't know why women do it, I feel disgusted by it. I shook her hand off me.

" Come on, don't try to resist me. I know you like me", she said what was supposed to be seductive I think. She took me smiling as a compliment. I looked at the computer and saw Avni in Karthik's cabin. She may have some doubts, after all, there were many weird things I mentioned in the contract.

I called Karthik and informed him to send Avni in. I pulled the woman present in front of me and started kissing her, I tried to imagine kissing Avni and kissed her more deeply. I heard a knock on the door. My heart broke a little after seeing her expression. I placed a hand on her waist. "Yes, Ms. Arya", I asked her and the woman in my lap started kissing my neck.

"Sir, I want to speak about the contract", she asked in a polite tone. As I started this whole scene to hurt her I said to her to come after an hour and started kissing the woman and making some moans. When she was near the door, I stopped her.

"As your first task clean the room assigned to you and arrange all the files according to the year", I ordered her and there was a sad expression that broke my heart a little. "And please close the door, I don't want any disturbances", as the words left my mouth she rushed out of the room. After Avni left the room I pushed the woman of me. I scowled at the woman. "I think you know the company rules, I will give you 10 minutes to collect your stuff and leave. You will receive your termination letter by the evening", I ordered her. And she left the room, she left in a hurry.

I opened the camera and saw Avni going into the restroom. I feel bad ordering her, but this must happen. She is innocent and she will suffer because of my world. I was lost in thoughts when I saw her come out of the restroom. She went into the cabin. I went to her cabin and stood outside. I watched her work in the room, she was coughing because of the dust. I couldn't bear to see more. I went to the conference room and waited there till my meeting start.

After 2 hour meeting, I went to my cabin. I saw a paper on my desk. It was the contract. I am terrified that she might have left. But I saw her signature at the bottom. I smiled.

"You are tougher than you look Avni. I am Abhi Goenka and I break all the beautiful things in my life. Let me see how long you can stand before breaking"
