(Rudraksh)

After nearly three hours, Kartavya and Ashvik returned from their shopping trip, their arms laden with bags. As they stepped into the house, they noticed a transformation already underway in the living room. Amandeep and Rishwik were busy setting up decorations, each focused on their tasks. Rishwik was standing on a stool, carefully adjusting the curtains to ensure they hung just right. The soft fabric draped elegantly, adding a cozy feel to the room. Across from him, Amandeep was meticulously hanging fairy lights, the soft glow of the tiny bulbs starting to twinkle as they illuminated the space.

Ashvik: "Mere na hote huye bhi achcha kaam kiya hai dono ne"

(Even without me being here, both of them did a good job.)

Rishwik and Amandeep both rolled their eyes in unison at the self-obsessed man Ashvik. Kartavya, observing the exchange, couldn’t help but chuckle at the playful dynamic between them.

Kartavya: "Rudraksh kaha hai??"

(Where’s Rudraksh?)

Rishwik: "2 ghante se kitchen me hai, na khud bahar aa rahe hai na kisi ko andar aane de rahe hai."

(He’s been in the kitchen for the past two hours. He won’t come out, and he’s not letting anyone in either.)

Kartavya: "Achcha, ruk main dekhta hu."

(Oh really? Wait, I’ll check on him.)

Rishwik nodded, and Kartavya made his way toward the kitchen. As he reached the door, he paused and smiled softly at the sight that greeted him—Rudraksh, wearing an apron, was focused on preparing a batter. His movements were calm and precise, as if this wasn’t something new to him. Kartavya stepped inside, leaning against the kitchen counter with a smile.

Kartavya: "Itne saalon baad, phir se bake kar raha hai, so I think I know your decision, am I correct??"

(After all these years, you're baking again, so I think I know your decision. Am I right?)

Rudraksh simply smiled, as he continued to mix the batter with steady hands. Kartavya, sensing the calmness in the room, walked over and placed a reassuring hand on Rudraksh's shoulder, a silent gesture of camaraderie.

Kartavya: "Good Decision, finally apne baare me socha toh tune."

(Good decision! You’ve finally thought about yourself.)

Rudraksh set the whisk down gently on the counter and turned fully toward Kartavya, his expression soft but grateful.

Rudraksh: "Sorry Bhai"

Kartavya: "Kis liye??"

(What for?)

Rudraksh: "Vo us waqt gusse me tension me aapse uchi awaaz me baat ki aur batameezi bhi ki, nahi karna chahiye tha mujhe vaisa."

(That time, I spoke to you rudely and disrespectfully out of anger and stress. I shouldn’t have done that.)

Kartavya: "Chup oye pagal! Vadde veer to vi koi maafi mangda? Aur main ki tenu nahi samajhda?"

(Shut up, you fool! Do you ever need to ask for an apology from elder brother? And do you think I don’t understand you?)

Rudraksh: "Thank you Mennu samajhan layi vi te mennu samjhan layi vi!"

(Thank you for understanding me, and for making me understand too!)

Rudraksh and Kartavya exchanged a brief look before stepping forward and embracing each other in a warm, brotherly hug. It was a gesture filled with mutual respect and a deep bond that words couldn’t fully capture. After a few moments, they pulled back, both smiling softly.

Kartavya: "Konsa flavour bana raha hai vaise??"

(By the way, what flavor are you making?)

Rudraksh returned to his task with calm focus, picking up the whisk once more and resuming the rhythmic motion. As he continued to blend the batter smoothly, he reached for a small bowl of powdered sugar and gently sprinkled it into the mix. The fine sugar dusted the surface before disappearing into the batter, adding a touch of sweetness to the recipe.

Rudraksh: "Itna toh samajh gaya hu ek week me ki sweet tooth hai use, chocolate flavour hi bana raha hu."

(I’ve figured out by now that she’s got a sweet tooth. I’m making chocolate flavor.)

Kartavya watched Rudraksh with a fond smile.

Kartavya: "Carry on."

Rudraksh gave a subtle nod, with that, Kartavya turned to leave, but as he neared the doorway, he paused. Standing there, casually leaning against the doorframe, were Rishwik and Ashvik, watching the scene unfold with amused expressions.

Ashvik: "Yahi maine kaha tha mere birthday pe cake bana de toh isne mana kar diya tha, aur ab dekho khud apni marzi se bana raha hai."

(This is what I had asked for on my birthday, but he refused to bake for me. Now look at him, baking on his own.)

Rishwik: "Ashvik bhai, aap na agle janam me ladki banke bhai se shadi kar lena aapko tabhi Shanti milegi."

(Ashvik bhai, you should come back in the next life as a girl and marry Rudraksh bhai. Only then will you find peace.)

Ashvik: "Chup kar tu."

(Shut up, you!)

Ashvik shot a sharp glare at Rishwik, clearly unimpressed by his teasing, while Rishwik responded with nothing more than a lighthearted chuckle.

Kartavya: "Jee bakwaas khatam ho gayi hove, taan chalo, kaam te lago hun!"

(Alright, enough nonsense. Now get to work, both of you!)

Rishwik: "Haan veere, eh Ashvik veer taan mainu gallan vich lga hi lende ne!"

(Yes, bro, but Ashvik bhai always gets me involved in his conversations!)

Ashvik: "Kya main??"

(What did I do?)

Kartavya: "Chalo donooo"

(Both of you, let’s go.)

Kartavya, with a playful grin, reached out and grabbed Rishwik and Ashvik by their necks, giving them a gentle but firm nudge, playfully shoving them out the door.

As evening fell, Kartavya, Rishwik, and Ashvik quietly entered Ruhanika's room. The soft glow from the screen illuminated the dimly lit space, revealing Ruhanika nestled in a sitting position on the bed, her head tilted slightly to the side as she dozed off. The movie continued to play in the background, the sound muted but still audible, casting a gentle ambiance throughout the room. The trio exchanged amused glances at the sight of her. Ruhanika looked peaceful, her long hair cascading over her shoulders, and a faint smile danced on her lips as she dreamt.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine is so cute."

Rishwik: "Yeah but ab uthana padega na."

(Yeah, but now we’ll have to wake her up.)

Ashvik: "Main utha deta hu."

(I’ll wake her up.)

Rishwik: "Bilkul nahi, jaise mujhe janwaro ki tarah uthate ho vaise main Angel ke sath nahi hone dunga, main uthaunga."

(Absolutely not! I won’t let you wake up Angel the way you wake me up like an animal. I’ll wake her.)

Rishwik started to move toward Ruhanika, but Ashvik quickly stepped in front of him, blocking his path. This sparked a playful quarrel between the two, as they pushed and jostled, each trying to outmaneuver the other. Kartavya, watching the scene unfold, shook his head in mild irritation. Deciding to intervene, he made his way toward Ruhanika. With a gentle touch, he caressed her head, his fingers brushing through her hair in a comforting gesture.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine, get up kiddo."

Ruhanika's eyes fluttered gently at Kartavya's soothing touch, a soft smile appearing on her face as she leaned slightly into his hand. Noticing her reaction, Kartavya smiled warmly and caressed her head again, his fingers gliding through her hair in a reassuring manner.

Kartavya: "Little Sunshine, get up, it’s time to get ready."

Ruhanika slowly opened her eyes, her gaze landing on Kartavya, who greeted her with a warm smile. In return, she smiled back, her expression softening as she took in her surroundings.  Sitting up straight, she rubbed her eyes gently, shaking off the remnants of sleep.

Ruhanika: "Maaf kijiye Bhai sa hum so gaye pata nahi kaise."

(Sorry, Brother, I don’t know how I fell asleep.)

Kartavya: "Koi baat nahi kiddo, it's good na tumne araam kiya kyuki ab hum khoob Masti karenge."

(No problem, kiddo. It’s good that you rested, because now we’re going to have a lot of fun.)

Ruhanika: "Kaise??"

(How?)

Kartavya opened his mouth, ready to say something, but Ruhanika's attention was suddenly drawn away as she heard other voices mingling in the air.

Ashvik: "Main uthaunga"

(I’ll wake her up.)

Rishwik: "Maine bola na main uthaunga."

(I already said I’m waking her up.)

Rishwik and Ashvik were still caught up in their playful feud, each trying to outdo the other with exaggerated gestures and mock protests.

Ruhanika: "Aap dono kise uthayenge Rishi Bhai, Ashu bhai???"

(Who are you both going to wake up, Rishi Bhai, Ashu Bhai?)

Both Rishwik and Ashvik suddenly paused their bickering, turning their attention to Ruhanika and then shifting their gaze to Kartavya. As they caught sight of him, Kartavya couldn’t help but roll his eyes in exasperation at their antics. In response, the two shot him synchronized glares, their expressions of irritation.

Rishwik: "Ye aapne thik nahi kiya Mr. Kartavya Khurana."

(You’ve done me wrong, Mr. Kartavya Khurana!)

Kartavya completely ignored their glares, as he turned his attention back to Ruhanika. With a casual flick of his wrist, he passed a packet to her, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. Ruhanika’s eyes lit up with curiosity as she accepted the packet, momentarily distracted from the playful conflict between Rishwik and Ashvik.

Kartavya: "Little sunshine, Ye lo isme gown hai ise pehen lo abhi aur ready ho jao."

(Little Sunshine, here’s a gown for you. Put it on and get ready.)

Ruhanika: "Taiyaar ho jaye?? Par kis liye??"

(Get ready? But for what?)

Ashvik plopped down beside Ruhanika, a mischievous grin on his face as he playfully ruffled her hair.

Ashvik: "Sawaal jawab nahi teddy, pehle ready ho jaye phir sab pata chalega."

(No questions, Teddy. First, get ready, and then you’ll find out everything.)

Rishwik, not wanting to be left out of the fun, hopped onto the bed beside Ashvik and Ruhanika.

Rishwik: "Also dress dekh ke batao kaisa laga."

(And let us know how the dress looks once you’ve put it on.)

Ruhanika eagerly tore open the packet, her eyes widening in delight as she pulled out a beautiful white gown. The fabric shimmered softly in the light, the delicate lace and elegant design capturing her attention immediately. She held it up, admiring the way it flowed, her smile growing wider with each passing second.

Ruhanika: "Ye toh bahaut sundar hai Bhai saa."

(This is so beautiful,  brother)

Kartavya smiled warmly at Ruhanika’s reaction, but suddenly, he noticed her expression shift to a frown of confusion. Her brows furrowed as she processed something, and before she could voice her thoughts, Ashvik burst into giggles, clearly aware of what was going through her mind. With a playful smirk, he shot a knowing glance at Kartavya. Ruhanika looked between them, her confusion deepening.

Kartavya: "I know kiddo, tum puchogi iska dupatta kidr hai right??"

(I know, kiddo. You’re probably going to ask where the scarf is, right?)

Ruhanika nodded.

Kartavya: "Ye gown hai beta ise aise hi pehente hai, aur trust me tum bahaut achchi lagogi, chaho toh Rudraksh se puch lo ise aise hi pehente hai."

(This is a gown, kiddo. You wear it just like this. And trust me, you’ll look amazing in it. If you want, you can even ask Rudraksh; he’ll tell you this is how it’s worn.)

Ruhanika shook her head, a small smile tugged at her lips.

Ruhanika: "Nahi bhai sa, ab aap keh rahe hai toh sahi hi keh rahe honge, hum pehen lenge."

( No Brother, if you’re saying it’s fine, then it must be. I’ll wear it.)

The smirk on Ashvik's face faded almost instantly as he looked at Ruhanika. His playful demeanor shifted to one of disappointment, his brows furrowing slightly as he regarded her.

Ashvik: "Teddy main bhi toh aise hi kapde laaya tha yaar, tum tab toh nahi maani."

(Teddy, I also brought clothes like this for you once, but you didn’t agree to wear them.)

Ruhanika: "Nahi Ashu bhai, aap chote aur adhure kapde laaye the, ye dekhiye ye wala sundar hai, and niche tak hai pura hai. Aap nahi samjhoge aap rehne do."

(No, Ashu bro, you brought small and incomplete clothes. Look at this one—it’s beautiful and full-length. You wouldn’t understand; just let it go.)

Kartavya and Rishwik exchanged amused glances, unable to hold back their giggles at Ashvik's sudden change in demeanor. The lightheartedness returned to the room as they poked fun at him.

Kartavya: "Okay, okay. Now go and get ready."

Rishwik: "Phir main tumhare Baal banata hu."

(Then I’ll do your hair.)

Ashvik: "aur main tumhara skin care karunga."

(And I’ll take care of your skincare.)

Ruhanika: "Vo kya hota hai Ashu bhai?? Aap humari twacha ka khayal karenge???"

(What’s that, Ashu Bhai? You’ll take care of my skin?)

Ashvik chuckled, as he grabbed Ruhanika's hand and playfully pulled her to her feet from the bed.

Ashvik: "Main batata hu par abhi jao jaake ye kapde badal ke aao yaar tum teddy please."

(I’ll explain it to you later. Just go change into those clothes for now, Teddy, please.)

Ruhanika nodded eagerly, her excitement bubbling over as she made her way to the closet. She opened the door and stepped inside, the fabric of the beautiful white gown still in her hands. As she closed the door behind her.

Rishwik: "Hum sab bhi jaldi se ready hoke aate hai."

(We’ll quickly get ready too.)

Ashvik and Kartavya nodded in agreement, their excitement palpable as they rushed out to get dressed for the surprise they had planned for Ruhanika. After some time, Rishwik returned to Ruhanika's room, anticipation buzzing in the air. However, he was taken aback to find the room empty, a curious silence greeting him. He glanced around, hoping to catch a glimpse of Ruhanika, but it seemed she had already slipped away. Rishwik was dressed in a casual yet stylish outfit—a crisp white t-shirt paired with blue denim jeans. Over it, he wore a sleek black hoodie jacket, which added a touch of flair to his look. His sporty watch glimmered on his wrist, and his white sneakers completed the ensemble, giving him a fresh, vibrant appearance. He furrowed his brows in confusion, wondering where she could have gone.

Rishwik: "Angel, kaho ho tum??"

(Angel, where are you?)

Ruhanika: "Hum yaha andar hai Rishi Bhai."

( I’m here inside, Rishi Bro.)

Rishwik: "ohh thik hai main wait karta hu."

(Oh, alright, I’ll wait.)

Ruhanika: "Nahi hum taiyaar hai aap andar aake humare baal bana sakte hai."

(No, I’m ready. You can come in and do my hair.)

As Rishwik stepped further into the room, he spotted Ruhanika sitting gracefully on the Ottoman, her gown flowing around her. A warm smile spread across his face at the sight of her, brightening the atmosphere. He approached her with a playful glint in his eyes and rounded his fingers in a charming gesture, crackling them against his forehead in a lighthearted attempt to ward off any "evil eye."

Rishwik: "Kitni pyaari lagi Rahi ho Angel, sach me Angel lag rahi ho."

(You look so pretty, Angel! You really do look like an angel.)

Ruhanika: "Kya hum sach me sundar dikh rahe hai??"

(Do I really look beautiful?)

Rishwik smiled broadly and gently patted Ruhanika's head.

Rishwik: "Tum sundar dikh nahi Rahi Angel, Tum sundar ho, aur tumhara dil aur bhi zyada sunder hai."

(Angel, you don’t just look beautiful—you are beautiful. And your heart is even more beautiful.)

Ruhanika smiled at Rishwik, feeling a warm glow from his compliments. Just as Rishwik reached for a comb to help her smooth out her hair, they both heard Ashvik's voice calling from outside the room.

Ashvik: "Teddy, kamre ho kya??"

(Teddy, are you in the room?)

Ruhanika: "Hum yaha hai Ashu bhai, aap andar aa sakte hai, Rishi Bhai bhi hai yaha."

(I’m here, Ashu Bhai. You can come in; Rishi Bhai is here too.)

Just then, Ashvik burst into the room, looking sharp in a white T-shirt paired with black jeans and a light blue shirt worn casually over it. A stylish Rolex watch adorned his wrist, and his white sneakers added a fresh touch to his outfit. Without skipping a beat, he darted toward the vanity, rummaging through the various items on the surface in a frenzy. Rishwik and Ruhanika exchanged puzzled glances, their expressions mirroring each other's confusion.

Rishwik: "Kya dundh rahe ho Bhai??"

(What are you looking for, bro?)

Ashvik: "Ruk ek minute."

(Wait a minute.)

Rishwik made an annoyed face, arms crossed as he watched Ashvik's antics, while Ruhanika wore a look of confusion, trying to figure out what was happening. Just then, Ashvik's eyes lit up as he found what he had been searching for—a pencil kajal. He approached Ruhanika and carefully applied the kajal behind her ears. Ruhanika’s confusion morphed into surprise, her eyes widening as she tried to process the unexpected gesture.

Ruhanika: "Ye vaha thodi na lagate hai bhai."

(You don’t put that there, Bhai.)

Ashvik: "Ab meri behen itni sundar lagegi toh nazar ka tika toh lagana padega na teddy."

(Well, if my sister is going to look this beautiful, I have to put a protective charm on her, don’t I, Teddy?)

Ruhanika smiled at Ashvik, appreciating his gesture and the little touch he added to her look. Meanwhile, Rishwik rolled his eyes at Ashvik’s over-the-top drama.

Rishwik: "Chalo chalo ab kaam pe lagate hai niche bhi jaana hai."

(Alright, alright. Let’s get to work; we have to go downstairs too.)

Ashvik nodded enthusiastically, while Rishwik moved closer to Ruhanika. With a gentle gesture, he gathered all of her hair from her back, showcasing the beautiful gown she wore.

Ruhanika: "Vaise ye sab kyu ho raha hai bhai??"

(By the way, why is all of this happening, Bhai?)

Ashvik: "Have patience teddy, pata chal jayega."

(Have some patience, Teddy. You’ll find out soon enough.)

Ruhanika, being the obedient and easygoing friend she was, didn’t question any further; she simply nodded with a smile. Ashvik, seizing the moment, picked up some moisturizer from the vanity and applied it gently to Ruhanika's face and she giggled.

Ashvik: "What??"

Ruhanika: "Hume humare gaalon pe gudgudi huyi. "

(I felt a tickle on my cheek.)

Ashvik and Rishwik both chuckled. Rishwik, ever the gentle soul, approached Ruhanika and began weaving a French braid through her long, voluminous hair. His fingers moved deftly, securing each section with precision, and Ruhanika felt a sense of comfort wash over her as he concentrated on making her look beautiful. Meanwhile, Ashvik took charge of her basic skincare routine. He carefully applied a gentle cleanser, followed by a light moisturizer that would keep her skin hydrated and glowing. Skipping any makeup, he made sure to be mindful of her delicate complexion. He knew that Ruhanika had a naturally radiant look, and he didn’t want to cover it up with anything artificial. Besides, he was well aware of her baby-like skin, and he wanted to preserve its softness and purity, ensuring it wouldn’t suffer from heavy products.

After completing her skincare, Ashvik carefully applied a light nude lipstick to Ruhanika, enhancing her natural beauty without overwhelming her youthful appearance. He then spritzed a subtle perfume in the air, allowing the delicate fragrance to settle around her like a gentle hug. Rishwik, having finished braiding her hair, added some charming hair accessories that sparkled in the light, giving her a touch of elegance. Just then, Ashvik dashed out of the room and returned with a small box in hand, his eyes sparkling with excitement. He knelt in front of Ruhanika, opening the box to reveal a pair of adorable white juttis adorned with a small bow. He gently slipped them onto her feet, making sure they fit perfectly and added a charm to her outfit. Meanwhile, Rishwik helped Ruhanika with some minimal jewelry, selecting delicate pieces that complemented her look without overshadowing it. Together, they transformed her into a picture of grace and beauty, ready to embrace the celebration ahead.

Rishwik: "Perfect, bhai toh flat ho jayenge."

(Perfect! Bhai is going to be mesmerized.)

Ruhanika shot a confused look at Rishwik, her brow slightly furrowed as she tried to process what he said.

Ruhanika: "Ye patle kyu ho jayenge?? Hum hai na inki sehat ka khayal rakhne ke liye."

(Why will he fall flat? I’m here to take care of his health, after all.)

Ashvik: "Offo teddy, ye toh baadme Rudraksh ko puchna abhi chali jaldi se hume bahaut Masti karni hai na ab."

(Oh, Teddy, ask Rudraksh about that later. For now, come on, let’s go. We’ve got a lot of fun waiting for us!)

Ruhanika nodded, her heart swelling with excitement. Rishwik and Ashvik knelt down in front of her, extending their hands with playful smiles. She couldn’t help but smile back, placing one hand in Rishwik's and the other in Ashvik's. Their faces lit up with joy as they stood up together, supporting her as they helped her rise. The trio moved toward the door, and as they stepped out of her room, Ruhanika felt a flutter of anticipation. Approaching the staircase, she paused and looked down, her eyes widening in delight. The entire area was beautifully decorated in shades of white and blue, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The curtains draped elegantly along the walls, complementing the soft blue hues. Sprinkled throughout were vibrant yellow fairy lights that twinkled like stars, casting a warm glow over the space.

A plush couch was positioned in the center of the space, surrounded by a backdrop adorned with delicate white and blue flowers, creating an enchanting setting. On the opposite side, a stunning arrangement of white, blue, and silver balloons floated gracefully, interspersed with a cheerful "Happy Birthday" banner that added a festive touch. The contrasting lights enhanced the magical ambiance, making the entire area feel like a fairy tale home fit for a princess. At the bottom of the stairs, Ruhanika spotted Kartavya and Amandeep waiting eagerly. Kartavya looked dashing in a royal blue shirt paired with crisp white pants and polished black shoes, his hair expertly gelled for a sophisticated, polished appearance. The watch on his wrist completed his rich look, exuding confidence and charm. Amandeep stood beside him in a relaxed beige sweatshirt, matched with white pants and casual sneakers, projecting a more laid-back vibe while still looking stylish. Together, they made quite the pair, their smiles wide as they prepared to welcome Ruhanika into her beautifully decorated surprise party.

Finally, Ruhanika's gaze shifted to the center of the room, where the most important person in her life stood, completely captivated by her presence. Rudraksh was looking exceptionally handsome in a crisp white shirt, tailored black pants, and a stylish black blazer. The silver watch on his wrist caught the light, adding a touch of elegance to his ensemble, while his polished black shoes gleamed under the soft glow of the decorations. His hair was perfectly gelled, and his beard was trimmed neatly, enhancing the sharpness of his features. A brooch adorned his blazer, adding a refined touch that spoke to his attention to detail. But what truly mesmerized Ruhanika were his deep black eyes, filled with admiration and warmth as they locked onto hers. The intensity of his gaze sent delightful shivers through her, creating a whirlwind of emotions that danced in her stomach. Despite feeling a bit flustered, she managed to return his look with a bright smile, her heart swelling with joy and affection for the man who had always been her greatest supporter. In that moment, the world around them faded, and it felt as if it were just the two of them in their own little bubble, celebrating her special day.

The moment Ruhanika smiled at him, Rudraksh felt as though his heart might leap from his chest to be given to his wife. He was utterly awestruck as he took in her beauty. This was the first time he had seen her in a gown, and she wore it with such grace and elegance that it seemed to transform her into a vision of pure enchantment. She was adorned in a stunning white gown that featured delicate netted full sleeves and a stylish boat neck. The gown was cinched at the waist with a beautiful blue band, accentuated by a charming bow that added a playful touch to her sophisticated look. Ruhanika's long hair was expertly styled in a French braid, resting gracefully on her left shoulder, which framed her face perfectly. Around her neck, she wore a simple yet elegant nuptial chain along with her own cherished chain. The vermilion in her hairline was a radiant reminder of their bond, while diamond studs sparkled in her ears, adding a touch of glamour. On one wrist, a sleek bracelet complemented her look, while her other wrist sported a stylish watch. To complete her outfit, she wore cute white juti, which added a touch of charm. As Rishwik and Ashvik gently guided her forward, Ruhanika began her descent down the stairs, each step filled with anticipation and delight. The sight of her made Rudraksh's heart swell with pride and love, knowing that she was his, and he was hers.

As Ruhanika descended the stairs, Rudraksh was moving towards her,  their eyes remained locked on each other, filled with unspoken affection and joy. With each step Ruhanika took, Rudraksh moved closer, his heart racing in sync with hers. Finally, Ruhanika reached the last stair, where Rudraksh stood waiting for her, his presence radiating warmth and love. Rishwik and Ashvik, sensing the moment, gently released her hands, allowing her to take the final step towards her husband. Rudraksh extended his hand toward her, a gesture filled with promise and affection. Ruhanika's heart swelled as she placed her hand in his, her fingers intertwining with his as if they were always meant to fit together. The instant their hands connected, Kartavya and Amandeep burst the party poppers in unison, sending colorful confetti into the air. At the same time, rose petals began to fall around them like a gentle rain, creating a dreamy atmosphere that felt straight out of a fairy tale. Ruhanika beamed with joy, her smile lighting up the entire room. The sight of her happiness brought a surge of warmth to Rudraksh’s heart, making him feel as though he was floating. He became lost in her laughter and the way her eyes sparkled with delight, momentarily oblivious to the world around them. Meanwhile, Rishwik couldn’t help but shake his head in disbelief at how completely entranced Rudraksh was by Ruhanika. He hit his forehead with his palm, a mix of exasperation and amusement, realizing just how deeply his brother had fallen for his sister-in-law.

Rishwik: "Bhai ab kya puri raat Angel ko taadte rahoge?? Chalo na aage."

(Bro, are you going to stare at Angel all night? Let's move forward.)

Just then, Rudraksh emerged from his thoughts, glancing over with a mock glare directed at Rishwik. The sudden shift in his demeanor caught everyone’s attention, and a wave of giggles erupted among the group. Rishwik, however, remained unfazed, completely ignoring Rudraksh's playful glare.

Rudraksh: "Aao Ruh."

(Come on, Ruh.)

Ruhanika nodded, feeling the warmth of their support as Rudraksh gently led her to the couch that had been beautifully decorated just for her. The vibrant cushions and soft throws created a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, making her feel like a true guest of honor.

Rishwik: "Ha bas aapka kaam yahi tak tha ab hato aap."

(Yeah, your work ends here, now step aside.)

Rishwik playfully pushed Rudraksh aside, a cheeky grin spreading across his face as he positioned himself next to Ruhanika. Rudraksh shot him a deadly glare, but Rishwik, accustomed to this reaction, simply brushed it off with a laugh, pretending to be unbothered. Seeing the playful exchange, Ashvik and Amandeep quickly joined Rishwik, further crowding around Ruhanika on the couch.

Amandeep: "Okay, Ruhi, let's make you the girl you truly are."

Ashvik: "The royal princess."

Ruhanika looked at them, her expression a mix of confusion and amusement as she tried to understand the playful chaos unfolding around her. Just then, Rishwik seized the moment and gently placed a sparkling crown on her head, completing her regal look. The three of them—Ashvik, Amandeep, and Rishwik—leaned in closer, their faces beaming with mischief and excitement. In unison, they shouted, their voices echoed in the room, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere.

Rishwik, Ashvik, Amandeep: "Happy Birthday Ruhhhiiiiiiiiiiii "

Ruhanika grinned.

Ruhanika: "Ye sab humare janamdin ke liye hai???"

(Is all this for my birthday???)

Kartavya: "Ofcourse little Sunshine, ab tum ek hi ladki ko in sab ki life me toh hum sab tumhara birthday nahi manayenge kya??"

(Of course, little Sunshine. Now, you are the only girl in all their lives, so won’t we celebrate your birthday?)

Ruhanika: "Aur aapke jeevan me??"

(And in yours?)

Kartavya couldn’t help but chuckle at Ruhanika’s innocence.

Kartavya: "Beta bataya tha na meri wife aur sister bhi hai, bhul gayi??"

(Kiddo, I told you, right? I have a wife and a sister too, did you forget?)

Ruhanika playfully bit her tongue.

Ruhanika: "Maaf kijiyega"

(Forgive me.)

Rishwik: "Bhai khade kya ho jaake cake lao na."

(Bro, why are you just standing there? Go get the cake.)

Rishwik confidently ordered Rudraksh to fetch the cake, but to everyone’s surprise, Rudraksh didn’t respond with his usual irritation. Instead, he wore a knowing smile, as if he had been anticipating this moment all along.

Rudraksh: "Abhi laaya."

(I'll bring it right now.)

Soon, Rudraksh reappeared with a beautifully decorated trolley tray, drawing everyone's attention as he wheeled it into the room. The anticipation in the air was palpable, and all eyes shifted from the cake to him, wondering what he had created. They had expected a classic heart-shaped cake, but to their surprise, he unveiled a stunning flower-shaped cake, intricately crafted and adorned with delicate icing roses. As everyone admired the cake, Rudraksh's gaze was fixed solely on Ruhanika. He watched her expression transform into pure joy upon seeing the cake, her eyes sparkling with delight. In the short time they had spent together, he had come to learn that she had a special fondness for flowers, which was why he had initially brought home a bouquet earlier that day. Sadly, that gesture had been overshadowed by the chaos that ensued, but now he felt a sense of satisfaction in being able to bring a smile to her face. The cake, with its vibrant colors and floral design, mirrored the essence of Ruhanika's personality—bright, beautiful, and full of life. Rudraksh's heart swelled with pride, knowing that he had created something special just for her. The atmosphere around them was filled with warmth and love, making it a moment they would cherish forever.

Ashvik: "You unromantic person, I was expecting something better."

Rudraksh raised his eyebrows at Ashvik, a mix of amusement and mock disbelief playing across his face.

Rudraksh: "Tu saddi votti nahi hai jo main teriyan expectations puriyan karaan."

(You aren't my wife, so why should I meet your expectations?)

Kartavya: "But still Rudraksh'

Rudraksh: "Veere, Ruk nu phool pasand ne, usde chehre di khushi nu vekho!"

(Bro, Ruh likes flowers, just look at her face lighting up with happiness!)

As everyone turned their attention to Ruhanika, they found her gazing at the beautifully decorated cake with sparkling eyes and a sweet, enchanting smile. It was clear she was captivated by the dessert, lost in the delight of the moment. Rudraksh couldn't resist the charm of her expression. He bent down slightly, leaning closer to her with a playful grin, he asked, his voice soft and teasing.

Rudraksh: "Cake pasand aaya meri Rajkumari ji ko??"

(Do you like the cake, my princess?)

Ruhanika smiled broadly, her face lighting up with uncontainable joy as she nodded enthusiastically like a child discovering something magical. Her innocence and excitement were palpable, bringing an undeniable warmth to the room.

Ruhanika: "bahaut hi sundar hai ye, aur swadisht aur meetha bhi lag raha hai. Hume ise jaldi se kaate kya ????"

(It’s very beautiful, and it looks delicious and sweet. Can we cut it already??)

Everyone burst into laughter at Ruhanika's eagerness, the sound echoing warmly around the room. Her infectious excitement was like a burst of sunshine, brightening the atmosphere and drawing smiles from each one of them.

Rishwik: "Wait, Angel, let me take some pictures of you."

Ruhanika: "Phir se tasveere?? Rishi Bhai, aap har waqt humari aur sabki tasveere kyu lete rehte hai??"

(Pictures again? Rishi Bhai, why do you always take pictures of me and everyone?)

Ashvik: "Kyuki Teddy, photography ka shaukh pala hai janab ne."

(Because, Teddy, he has a passion for photography.)

Ruhanika: "Toh keval humari kyu?? Sabki tasveere lijiye na. Aap sab aa jaiye humare sath. "

(Then why only me? Take pictures of everyone. You all come stand with me.)

All stood behind Ruhanika, who sat regally on the couch like a queen, basking in the attention and affection of her family. The scene was heartwarming, filled with laughter and camaraderie as they celebrated together. Rishwik, ever the enthusiastic photographer, began snapping numerous pictures, capturing the joyful moments they were sharing. With each click of the camera, he ensured that every smile, every gleeful expression was immortalized. “Say cheese!” he called out, urging everyone to strike their best poses. Not wanting to be left out, Rishwik quickly set up his phone for some selfies, pulling Ruhanika closer for a group shot. The laughter and chatter filled the room, and each photo became a cherished memory, encapsulating the joy and warmth of their gathering. Ruhanika felt like the center of a beautiful moment, surrounded by family who cherished her, making her heart swell with happiness.

Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai, humse raha nahi ja raha ab, cake kaat de kya hum???"

(Rishi Bhai, I can’t wait anymore, can I cut the cake now?)

Everyone chuckled at Ruhanika's eagerness, fully aware that all she really wanted was to dive into the sweet treat in front of her. Her sparkling eyes and joyful grin spoke volumes about her anticipation for the cake. With a playful grin, Ashvik passed her the knife.

Amandeep: "Chalo Ruhiiiii, cut the cake."

(Come on, Ruhi, cut the cake.)

Rudraksh, standing nearby, couldn’t help but roll his eyes at Amandeep’s playful antics. Ruhanika took the knife in her hands and paused for a moment, her eyes darting toward Rudraksh. Rudraksh, catching her gaze, raised his eyebrows with a questionable look.

Ruhanika: "Aap bhi toh aiye."

(You come too.)

Rudraksh: "It's your birthday Ruhh Sohneyo."

Ruhanika: "Ha toh aap pati hai humare, hum aur aap alag hai kya??"

(Yes, but you’re my husband, are we separate or something?)

Rudraksh gazed at Ruhanika with all the love he had stored in his heart, completely captivated by her. Time seemed to stand still as he admired her, unable to tear his eyes away. They were lost in their own world, immersed in each other’s gaze, while everyone else in the room watched, exchanging amused glances. It had already been two full minutes, but the connection between the husband and wife was unbroken, their eyes communicating a silent exchange of affection. Kartavya smiled warmly, genuinely happy for his friend. He could see the deep affection in Rudraksh’s eyes, and it made him feel a surge of pride for the happiness Rudraksh had found. Ashvik, on the other hand, had a different reaction. With a mischievous grin, he decided to break the moment, he gave Rudraksh a sudden jolt, shaking him out of his trance.

Ashvik: "Chal na bhai yahi raat guzarega kya??"

(Come on, bro, are you going to spend the whole night standing there?)

Rudraksh shot a playful glare at Ashvik for interrupting the moment, but it quickly softened as he turned back to Ruhanika. He sat down beside her, the soft warmth of her smile melting away any trace of annoyance. Her eyes sparkled as she looked at him, and in that moment, Rudraksh couldn’t resist the overwhelming affection he felt. Without a second thought, he leaned in and gently kissed her forehead.

Rudraksh: "Happy Birthday jaa.., Happy Happy birthday betu."

Ruhanika: "Dhanyawad."

(Thank you.)

Rudraksh smiled.

Amandeep: "Sir, cake bhi kaat lo yaar hume khana hai."

(Sir, can we cut the cake already? We want to eat.)

Ashvik, Rishwik: "Haaa please."

(Yes, please.)

Ruhanika giggled softly, her eyes sparkling with joy as she held the knife properly to cut the cake. Rudraksh joined her, placing his hand over hers, and together they made the first slice. The room filled with the lively sound of everyone singing the birthday song and clapping, the warmth of the moment enveloping them both. As Ruhanika turned to feed Rudraksh the first bite, he couldn’t help but notice the eager gleam in her eyes. Her excitement for the cake was almost childlike, and it made him chuckle. Shaking his head affectionately, he gently redirected her hand, bringing the piece of cake to her lips instead. She closed her eyes as she took the bite, savoring the sweetness with a blissful expression.

Ruhanika: "Ye.. kila.. swal..ish ... Aaii"

(This is so yummy)

Rudraksh chuckled, unable to resist pulling her cheeks as she mumbled something with her mouth full of cake. Her puffed cheeks and wide eyes made her look even more adorable, and everyone in the room couldn’t help but laugh along with him. Ruhanika tried to speak, her words muffled by the cake, which only made everyone chuckle more.

Ashvik: "Teddy you know, ye cake tumhare pati ne khud banaya hai."

(Teddy, you know, your husband made this cake himself.)

Ruhanika’s eyes widened in surprise, and she looked at Rudraksh with a mixture of amusement and delight, her expression almost comical. He couldn’t help but smile back. After quickly gulping down the mouthful of cake, she tilted her head slightly, and asked.

Ruhanika: "Aapne haathon se banaya hai ye???"

(You made it with your own hands?)

Rudraksh: "nahi pairon se."

(No, with my feet.)

Ruhanika's eyebrows furrowed  in confusion as she glanced from Rudraksh's feet to the cake. It was as if she was trying to piece together some silly puzzle in her mind. Rudraksh couldn’t help but shake his head at her antics, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

Rudraksh: "Of course my yellow, haathon se hi banaunga na."

(Of course, my yellow, I made it with my hands.)

Ruhanika was about to bring up the mysterious yellow thing again, her curiosity piqued, but before she could get the words out, Amandeep interjected.

Amandeep: "Ruhiiii, ab apne bhaiyon ko bhi khila do yaar."

(Ruhi, now feed your brothers too.)

Ruhanika: "Arehhh haa."

(Oh yes, of course.)

With a gleeful smile lighting up her face, Ruhanika grabbed another piece of cake and leaned towards Rudraksh, her eyes sparkling with excitement.  Rudraksh accepted it eagerly, a grin spreading across his face as he took the bite from her hand. Feeling the contagious spirit of celebration, Ruhanika then turned to the others, ready to share the sweetness of the moment. One by one, she fed the cake to Kartavya, Amandeep, and Rishwik, each of them grinning widely as they tasted the cake she had shared with Rudraksh.

Ashvik: "Chalo Teddy ab baith jao, now gifts time."

(Come on, Teddy, sit down now, it's gift time.)

Ruhanika: "Tohfe denge hume??"

(You’ll give me gifts?)

Rishwik: "Jii tohfe denge aapko. Chaliye ab baithiye Shanti se."

(Yes, we’ll give you gifts. Now, sit down peacefully.)

Ruhanika's gaze fell upon Rudraksh, who blinked reassuringly at her, silently encouraging her to embrace the moment. With a bright smile, she settled back into her seat, her heart racing with anticipation. Moments later, Ashvik, Rishwik, and Amandeep burst into the room, each of them clutching an armful of colorful gifts. The sight was almost overwhelming, and Ruhanika’s eyes sparkled with excitement as she cupped her face in awe. The trio grinned, clearly relishing in her reaction.

Ruhanika: "Itne saree tohfe."

(So many gifts!)

Amandeep: "22 gifts for the 22-year-old princess."

Ruhanika smiled widely, but suddenly her eyes began to glisten with tears, catching the others off guard. Rishwik, Ashvik, and Amandeep exchanged panicked glances, their expressions shifting from joy to concern. Panic set in as they knelt down in front of her, their hearts racing with concern. Rudraksh, who had been sitting beside her, felt his heart race at the sight of her distress. He placed a calming hand on her shoulder, offering his support.

Ashvik: "Teddy kya hua??"

(Teddy, what happened?)

Rishwik: "Pasand nahi aaya surprise?"

(Didn't you like the surprise?)

Amandeep: "Kuch aur chahiye?? Bolo hum le aayenge."

(Do you want something else? Tell us, we’ll get it for you.)

Ruhanika shook her head, trying to suppress her emotions. Sensing her distress, Rudraksh gently cupped her chin with one hand, lifting her face so their eyes met. His gaze was warm and steady, reassuring her that she was safe with him. With his other hand, he tenderly wiped away her tears, his thumb brushing softly against her cheek. As he did this, he rubbed her shoulder gently, providing comfort and a sense of security.

Rudraksh: "Ruhh, bola tha na betu aaj ke din Rona nahi hai, birthday hai na tumhara."

( Ruhh, I told you not to cry today, it’s your birthday.)

Ruhanika: "Humara janamdin aise pehle kabhi nahi manaya, kabhi aise tohfe nahi mile, hume Rona aa gaya par hum khush hai."

(I’ve never had my birthday celebrated like this before, I’ve never received gifts like this. I feel like crying, but I’m happy.)

Ashvik, Rishwik, and Amandeep let out a collective sigh of relief as they noticed Ruhanika’s smile return, a genuine one that lit up her face. It was as if a weight had been lifted from the room, and they exchanged glances filled with gratitude and reassurance.

Rishwik: "Oh my god Angel, dara hi diya tha tumne."

(Oh my God, Angel, you really scared us.)

Ashvik: "Aise koi rota hai kya yaar."

(Who cries like this, seriously?)

Amandeep: "Achcha chalo ab gifts kholo."

(Okay, now open the gifts.)

Ruhanika nodded enthusiastically, her excitement palpable as she began to unwrap the gifts. Each layer peeled away revealed a treasure, and she delighted in the variety before her. There were big boxes and small ones, each holding something special. Soft toys, vibrant chocolates, stylish earphones, and beautiful accessories filled the space around her, creating a colorful display of love and thoughtfulness. As she reached the last few gifts, her eyes widened in surprise. Kartavya stepped forward with a beaming smile, presenting her with the latest iPhone 16 Pro Max alongside a sleek iPad. Ruhanika’s jaw dropped in awe as she held the luxurious gadgets in her hands.

Ruhanika: "Par hume iska upyog karna nahi aata hai."

(But I don’t know how to use this.)

Rishwik: "Hum sikha denge na Angel, relax."

(Don’t worry, Angel, we’ll teach you, relax.)

She smiled brightly and nodded, her heart warming at the gifts, but it was the chocolates and soft toys that truly captivated her. She carefully set aside the gadgets, prioritizing her newfound treasures as she began to admire the soft toys, hugging them tightly and beaming with delight. Now everyone’s attention turned toward Rudraksh.

Rudraksh: "What??"

Kartavya: "What kya what?? Gift kon dega."

(What do you mean "what"? Who’s giving the gift?)

Rudraksh: "Aap sabke samne dena padega??"

(Do I have to give it in front of everyone?)

Rishwik: "Kyu bhai akele dena hai?? Aisa kya Dene walo aap??"

(Why, bro? Do you want to give it alone? What exactly are you planning to give?)

Rishwik raised his eyebrows, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips as he leaned slightly closer to Rudraksh.

Ashvik: "Don’t you dare ruin her innocence, I’m telling you."

Ashvik joined Rishwik in their playful teasing of Rudraksh, giving him high fives as they laughed together, their camaraderie evident. Rudraksh rolled his eyes in mock exasperation at their antics but couldn’t help but smile at their excitement. He quickly excused himself to retrieve his gift, leaving a trail of curious glances behind him. When he returned, Rudraksh held a large envelope, a smile playing on his lips. He stepped forward and handed it to Ruhanika. Her brow furrowed in confusion as she accepted the envelope, unsure of what to expect. She carefully opened it, revealing several sheets of paper tucked inside. The room fell silent, and curious glances were exchanged among the group as they wondered what Rudraksh was presenting—some kind of property or perhaps a legal document? Rudraksh knelt in front of Ruhanika, taking her hand in his. His gaze was earnest, filled with warmth and love, but when she shook her head.

Ruhanika: "Aap humare samne kyu jhuk gaye?? Hume toh mana kiya tha na aapne."

(Why did you kneel in front of me? You told me not to do that, right?)

Rudraksh: "Shhh Sohneyo, meri baat alag hai tumhari baat alag hai."

(Shh, sweetheart, it’s different when I do it, and different when you do.)

Ruhanika: "Par kyu?? Aur kaise??"

(But why? And how?)

Rudraksh: "Shhhh jaana, suno ab meri baat."

(Shhh, sweetheart, listen to me now.)

Ruhanika: "Phir se jaana, areh hu....."

(Again with the sweetheart... hey, I—)

Rudraksh chuckled softly as he gently placed his fingers on her soft lips.

Rudraksh: "Suno pehle ab meri baat, sunogi Sohneyo??"

(Listen to me first, will you sweetheart?)

Ruhanika nodded, as Rudraksh took his hand back. He resumed holding her hand, gently caressing it with his thumb, creating a warm and tender connection between them. His gaze was locked onto her eyes—those deep, expressive eyes that always seemed to draw him in, making it difficult for him to look away. As he looked deeply into her eyes, he found it nearly impossible to tear himself away. Each time he gazed into those sparkling orbs, he felt himself getting lost—lost in her innocence, in the purity of her heart, and in the boundless love that seemed to radiate from her very being. Yet, despite the magnetic pull, he managed to compose himself, channeling his emotions into a soft smile that reflected his affection.

Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, humari shadi ki baare me kuch baatein hai jo tumhe nahi pata hai."

(Ruhh, there are some things about our marriage that you don’t know yet.)

Ashvik, Rishwik, and Amandeep exchanged wide-eyed glances, their hearts pounding in their chests as they anticipated the moment of revelation. They feared that Rudraksh was about to disclose the truth about their marriage—the fact that it had been born from a case of mistaken identity, with Rudraksh believing her to be someone else. The thought of Ruhanika breaking down at such news made Rishwik's stomach twist with anxiety. Just as Rishwik was about to intervene, Kartavya placed a steadying hand on his shoulder, urging him to remain calm. He shook his head, silently communicating his confidence in Rudraksh. Kartavya's steady gaze assured them that he believed in Rudraksh's feelings for Ruhanika, and that he would never intentionally hurt her. Reluctantly, the three friends took a step back, their worry still evident but tempered by Kartavya's trust. They watched intently, their breaths held in anticipation, hoping that Rudraksh would find a way to express his feelings without causing Ruhanika any pain. They knew that love could be complicated, but they also had faith in the strength of the bond between the newlyweds.

Rudraksh: "Vo main abhi na tumhe nahi bata sakta hu, kuch reason ki vajah se. Par tum bharosa karogi mujhe??"

(And I can’t tell you right now, for some reason. But will you trust me?)

Ruhanika nodded, her expression shifting from confusion to intrigue as she felt the warmth of Rudraksh's hand against hers. The gentle caress of his thumb was soothing, grounding her as she leaned in closer, eager to hear what he had to say.

Rudraksh: "Toh Ruhh, ye humari shadi ko legally register karne ke papers hai aur phir humara marriage certificate bhi mil jayega."

(So Ruhh, these are the papers to legally register our marriage, and then we’ll also get our marriage certificate.)

Ruhanika smiled widely, feeling genuinely happy as Rudraksh's words sank in. The warmth in her chest blossomed, radiating throughout her entire being. She looked into his eyes, seeing the love and sincerity reflected back at her, and it made her heart swell with joy.

Rudraksh: "Par main nahi chahta ki tum ispe abhi sign karo."

(But I don’t want you to sign them right now.)

Her smile vanished, and she pouted, her eyes narrowing slightly in disappointment.

Ruhanika: "Par kyu?? Kya aap humari nahi mante??"

(But why? Don’t you accept our marriage?)

Rudraksh: "Nahi betu, ye baat nahi hai, manta hu ab main humari shadi ko."

(No, sweetheart, that’s not it. I do accept our marriage now.)

Ruhanika: "Toh phir kyu sign nahi kare hum?? Humne dekha ki aapne sign kar diya hai."

(Then why don’t I sign? I saw that you’ve already signed.)

Rudraksh: "Main chahta hu ki ispe tum tab sign karo jab tumhe sab pata ho, phir agar tum is shadi me nahi bhi rehna chaho tum main kuch nahi kahunga."

(I want you to sign it when you know everything, and if after that you don’t want to stay in this marriage, I won’t say anything.)

Rudraksh held immense pain in his eyes while saying this, his heart heavy with the weight of his unspoken truth. Despite the joy surrounding them, a storm of guilt brewed within him, knowing that their union was born out of circumstances that were anything but ideal. He didn’t want to burden her with the knowledge of their unconventional beginning—she deserved happiness, untainted by the shadows of his past actions. The thought of forcing anything on her, especially the harsh reality of their situation, made him ache inside. He had already married her against her will, even if she didn’t know it, and the weight of that guilt gnawed at him relentlessly. But amid the turmoil, there was also a flicker of peace. He felt grateful that she was his and not someone who would have tarnished her spirit or caused her harm. He believed he had saved her from a fate that could have been far worse, and for that, he found a sense of solace.

Ruhanika: "Kaisi baatein kar rahe hai aap, hum kyu jayenge aapko chod kar."

(Why are you saying such things? Why would I ever leave you?)

Ruhanika had tears in her eyes, as she spoke. Even Rudraksh's eyes were wet, the unshed tears reflecting the deep well of emotions he held inside.

Rudraksh: "Meri kuch Harkatein hi aisi hai Ruhh."

(Because of some of my actions, Ruhh.)

Rudraksh lowered his head in front of Ruhanika, his gaze focused on the ground as if seeking solace in the floor beneath them. The weight of unspoken truths pressed heavily on his shoulders, and in that moment, he felt both vulnerable and exposed.

Ruhanika: "Bhai sa, ek pen denge hume aap??"

(Brother, can you give me a pen?)

Kartavya and the others exchanged knowing smiles, fully aware that Ruhanika would react in a way that was true to her kind and loving nature, and they anticipated that she would embrace this moment with the grace and positivity that defined her. With a supportive nod, Kartavya handed a pen to Ruhanika, who took it with a mix of determination and excitement. She turned her gaze toward Rudraksh. Rudraksh watched her, his heart racing, caught between admiration and anxiety. He knew the significance of this moment; it wasn't just about signing papers—it was a declaration of her acceptance and trust in him. Ruhanika’s expression reflected her inner strength, and in that instant, he felt a profound connection with her, as if they were united in this journey together.

Ruhanika: "Hum nahi jante ki aap hume kya nahi bata rahe hai, kyu nahi bata rahe hai, par hum itna jante hai ki hum ab aapke bina nahi reh payenge, aapne hum nayi zindagi di hai, itna pyara parivaar diya hai, aur khud bhi ye kehte waqt kitne dard me hai aap, aapki aakhon me dikh raha hai. Yaha sab humse pyaar karte hai, koi hume pareshan nahi karta hai. Aap sab hume rone tak nahi dete hai, humari har baat mante hai, hume aisa mehsus karate hai jaise hum kahiki Rajkumari hai, hum nahi Jane Wale kahi aapko chod ke samjhe aap??"

(I don’t know what you’re not telling me or why you’re not telling me, but I do know one thing—I can’t live without you anymore. You’ve given me a new life, a loving family, and I can see the pain in your eyes while saying all this. Everyone here loves me, no one bothers me. You all don’t even let me cry, you listen to everything I say and make me feel like I’m some princess. I’m not going anywhere, I won’t leave you, do you understand?)

Ruhanika spoke with an authoritative tone, a blend of confidence and determination that took everyone by surprise. Rudraksh’s heart swelled with pride and admiration as he smiled at her, his eyes glistening with unshed tears.  As Ruhanika prepared to sign the papers, Rudraksh gently held her hands, halting her movement for a brief moment.

Rudraksh: "Betu, ek aur baat hai."

(Sweetheart, there’s one more thing.)

Ruhanika: "Kya?"

(What?)

Rudraksh: "Main paanch saal bada hu tumse."

(I’m five years older than you.)

Everyone present exchanged exasperated glances, collectively hitting their faces with their hands in disbelief. Rishwik shook his head, while Ashvik rolled his eyes dramatically.

Ruhanika: "Toh??"

(So??)

Rudraksh: "Toh tumhe isse problem nahi??"

(So, you don’t have a problem with that?)

Ruhanika: "Isme hume dikkat kyu hogi?? Aap kya keh rahe hai??"

(Why would I have a problem? What are you even saying?)

Rishwik: "kuch nahi Angel, Inka dimaag kharab hai."

(Nothing, Angel, he’s just losing his mind.)

Ruhanika let out a light giggle, the sound ringing like music in the air as she confidently signed the papers. The moment her pen lifted from the page, Rudraksh felt as though he was on cloud nine. A wave of relief washed over him, followed by an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude. The moment she signed the papers, the rest of the men in the family erupted in cheers, their voices echoing through the room. Amandeep, Ashvik, and Rishwik exchanged enthusiastic high-fives, their faces beaming with happiness. Kartavya grinned widely, clapping Rudraksh on the back as he beamed at Ruhanika, who was now officially his wife in every sense of the word.

"yeaahhhhhhhh, Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Malhotra"

Rudraksh and Ruhanika both felt their cheeks flush a gentle shade of pink, the warmth of their shared moment enveloping them like a cozy blanket. As Rudraksh settled beside Ruhanika, she turned to him with a radiant smile that made his heart race. In an affectionate gesture, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder, pulling her close. Leaning down, he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, a tender sign of his love and protection. The gesture made Ruhanika's heart flutter, and she nestled against him, feeling safe and cherished. The atmosphere around them buzzed with laughter and excitement from the ongoing celebration, but in that moment, everything else faded away. It was just the two of them, enveloped in their little world of love and happiness. Ruhanika tilted her head to rest against Rudraksh's shoulder, a content sigh escaping her lips as she savored the warmth of his presence. Rudraksh glanced down at her, his heart swelling with admiration. He couldn't help but feel grateful for this beautiful woman by his side, who had unknowingly become the center of his universe. She looked up at him with those bright, expressive eyes, and he realized just how lucky he was to have her in his life.

Rudraksh: "Thank you for trusting me Sohneyo."

Ruhanika just smiled, her eyes sparkling with joy and warmth. The simple gesture of her smile conveyed a world of emotions-happiness, contentment, and an unspoken understanding between her and Rudraksh. It was a smile that spoke volumes, reflecting her feelings of trust and affection for him. Rudraksh, noticing her smile, felt his heart swell with affection. He knew that this was just the beginning of their journey together, and he was ready to cherish every moment with her. With her warmth beside him, he felt an overwhelming sense of peace and happiness, knowing they were building something beautiful together.

Ashvik: Chalo chalo, ab celebration time."

(Come on, come on, it's celebration time now.)

"Humara Bina??"
