Rishwik: "Bhai vo Angel nahi mil Rahi."
(Brother, Angel is missing.)
The light smile that had graced Rudraksh's face, born from the thought of surprising Ruhanika with the flowers he had bought for her birthday, instantly vanished. A cold wave of fear replaced it, tightening his chest. His heart raced as he saw the urgency and worry on Rishwikâs face. Rudrakshâs mind began to spin with anxious thoughtsâhad something happened to Ruhanika while he was away? His grip on the bouquets tightened as the fear in his eyes grew more evident. Without wasting a second, he hurried towards Rishwik.
Rudraksh: "Na..nahi mil r..ahi matlab??"
(Mi...missing? What do you mean??)
Rishwik: "I don't know bhai, kuch waqt ke liye yahi living room me chod ke gaya tha, uske baad se kahi nahi hai"
(I donât know, brother. I left her in the living room for a while, and after that, I canât find her anywhere.)
Rudraksh: "Kaha hi jayegi, yahi kahi hogi Ashvik, Kartavya bhai ya Aman ke sath."
(Where could she have gone? She must be around here somewhere with Ashvik, Kartavya Bhai, or Aman.)
Rishwik: "Vo bhi use hi dundh rahe hai bhai."
(Theyâre looking for her too, brother.)
The color drained completely from Rudraksh's face as panic began to settle in. His once light steps now felt heavy with dread. Kartavya rushed over, panting and out of breath, his expression matching the same tension and concern that Rishwik had. Seeing both of them like this only deepened Rudrakshâs fear.
Kartavya: "Rishwik, Little sunshine mili??"
( Rishwik, did you find Little Sunshine?)
Rishwik shook his head, as words seemed to escape him. Before Rudraksh could press further, Ashvik came running towards them, his face equally tense, drenched in sweat from the constant running. He was panting heavily, barely able to catch his breath. Rudraksh's anxiety spiked seeing Ashvik in that state.
Ashvik: "Kuch pata chala??"
(did you find anything?)
Kartavya and Rishwik shook their heads in concern, their expressions mirroring Rudrakshâs mounting panic. Rudraksh felt a lump form in his throat.
Ashvik: "Kahi Vijaypratap...."
(Could Vijaypratap have...?)
Rudraksh: "Nooooo"
Rudraksh shouted in desperation, his voice echoing through the halls, startling everyone in the house. The flowers he had bought for Ruhanikaâred and white bouquetsâslipped from his trembling hands and fell to the floor, forgotten in his panic. His heart pounded wildly as fear overtook him, his mind racing with a thousand worst-case scenarios. Kartavya and Rishwik exchanged worried glances but stayed silent, knowing there was nothing they could say to calm him down.
Rudraksh: "Kahi nahi gayi hai meri Ruhh, yahi hogi tum log ne dundha nahi hoga. Main dekhta hu."
(Thereâs no way my Ruhh is gone. She must be here. You all just havenât searched properly. Iâll look for her.)
Rudraksh's hands trembled as he quickly pulled out his phone, desperate to check the baby monitor he had set up to keep an eye on Ruhanika. His heart pounded louder when he saw that the bed was empty, and Ruhanika was nowhere to be found on the screen. Panic surged through him. Without pausing to hear Rishwik or anyone else, he bolted up the stairs, sprinting toward their room with a single thought racing through his mindâhe had to find her. Bursting into the room, his eyes darted frantically, scanning every corner. First the bed, then the closet, then the washroomâeach place he checked was empty. Even the balcony was silent, void of Ruhanikaâs presence. The more he searched, the heavier his chest felt. His heartbeat thudded wildly in his ears, growing louder with each passing second as fear tightened its grip on him. He fought to push away the worst thoughts, desperately trying to maintain a semblance of calm, but the anxiety was overwhelming. Frustrated, he left the room and frantically searched the entire floor, his heart racing with each empty space he encountered. He darted to the terrace, but it was just as barrenâno sign of Ruhanika. Panic surged anew as he rushed downstairs, his mind racing with dread. When he hurried back downstairs, his heart sank at the sight of Rishwik, Ashvik, Amandeep, and Kartavya scouring every corner of the house. Their faces were etched with concern, and it only amplified the dread building inside him. Then he heard itâRishwikâs voice breaking through the tension. Those words shattered Rudrakshâs heart into a million pieces, echoing the very fear he had tried to suppress.
Rishwik: "Bhai, Angel kahi bhi nahi hai, kahi Vijaypratap le toh nahi gaya use."
(Brother, Angel is nowhere to be found. Could Vijaypratap have taken her?)
Rudraksh: "Noooo"
Rudraksh's voice rang through the air, a mix of desperation and fear for Ruhanika. His shout echoed, underscoring the gravity of the situation. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he retraced his steps, combing through every corner of the house, but each empty space only heightened his anxiety. As he was about to head toward the other side of the house, a firm grip on his hand halted him. Kartavya stood there, his expression grave yet steady.
Kartavya: "Itna kyu pareshan hai, ye toh hona hi tha na"
(Why are you so worried? This was bound to happen, wasnât it?)
Rudraksh: "Hona hi tha?? Kya bol rahe hai aap bhai, Ruhh mil nahi Rahi hai aur aapko baatein karni hai"
(Bound to happen?? What are you saying, brother? Ruhh is missing, and youâre just talking!)
Kartavya: "Sahi toh keh raha hu ek toh jaana hi tha use."
(Iâm telling the truth. She had to leave eventually.)
Rudraksh: "Enough bhai, mujhe Ruhh ko dundhna hai, kahi use kuch ho na jaye."
(Enough, brother. I need to find Ruhh. What if something has happened to her?)
Rudraksh pulled his hand away, frustration and fear surging through him as he struggled against the grip. But Kartavya held on tighter.
Rudraksh: "Bhai kya kar rahe ho, chodo mujhe, mujhe Ruhh ko dundhna hai na jane kaha hogi."
(Brother, what are you doing? Let me go! I need to find Ruhh. Who knows where she could be?)
Kartavya: "kyu dundhna use, kya farak padta hai tujhe?? Jane de jaha..."
(Why are you looking for her? Why does it matter to you? Just let her go wherever...)
Rudraksh shrugged off Kartavya's hand, frustration boiling beneath the surface as he shot him an intense glare. His eyes burned with a mixture of anger and fear, refusing to let anyone distract him from the urgency of the situation. The urgency of finding Ruhanika consumed him, leaving no room for distractions or reassurances. He couldn't afford to waste any time; every moment counted, and he was determined to find her, no matter the cost.
Rudraksh: "Enough bhai, kya kuch bhi bole ja rahe hai, Ruhhh biwi hai meri, aise kaise kuch bhi hoga use."
(Enough, brother! What nonsense are you saying? Ruhh is my wife. How can anything happen to her like that?)
Rudraksh turned on his heel, ready to storm out in search of Ruhanika, when Kartavya's voice pierced through the tension, halting him in his tracks.
Kartavya: "Biiwwiii?? Par tu toh nahi manta use biwi."
(Wife?? But you donât even acknowledge her as your wife.)
Rudraksh turned once more to face Kartavya, their eyes locking in a silent exchange.
Kartavya: "Kya hua?? Sahi kaha na, nahi manta na use biwi toh kuch bhi ho kya farak padta hai, kahi bhi jaiye kaise bhi jaye koi bhi us...."
(What happened? Did I say something wrong? You donât consider her your wife, so why does it matter? No matter where she goes, or with whom she goes...)
Rudraksh: "Bhaaiiii enough."
Rudraksh stood his ground, anger radiating from him as he confronted Kartavya. He closed the distance between them, his gaze unwavering and intense, locking onto Kartavya's eyes with an intensity that could cut through steel. The weight of his words hung in the air, and the tension between them thickened. Rudraksh's heart raced, fueled by the protective instincts for Ruhanika that surged within him. He could feel the adrenaline pumping through his veins, the desperation to find her overshadowing everything else.
Rudraksh: "Meri Ruhhh, meri Ruhh ka sukoon hai, biwi hai meri, bahaut pyaar karta hu usse, aur uske liye ek bura shabd bardasht nahi mujhe bhai."
(Ruhh is my peace, my wife. I love her deeply, and I wonât tolerate a single bad word about her, brother.)
Kartavya let out a sarcastic chuckle.
Kartavya: "huhhh, pyaar, aisa pyaar jisme use kuch pata hi nhi, kabhi vo tujhse pyaar karegi ya nahi pata nahi, uske man ki baat toh samajh nhi pata hoga, pyaar karne chala hai."
(Love? The kind of love where she knows nothing about it? Who knows if sheâll ever love you back? You probably canât even understand her thoughts, and you think you can love her?)
Rudraksh: "Vo mujhse pyaar na bhi kare toh chalega, mera pyaar hum dono ke liye kafi hai, main bhale uske man ki baat na samajh saku par uski aakhein padhna janta hu."
(Even if she never loves me, itâs okay. My love is enough for both of us. I may not always understand her thoughts, but I know how to read her eyes.)
Kartavya: "Aur vo kabhi nahi mili toh???"
(And what if you never find her?)
Rudraksh: "Bhaaiiiiiiiiii"
This was the first time in Rudraksh's life that he had ever raised his voice at Kartavya. The tension in the air was palpable, and as he felt the weight of his frustration, he closed his eyes, desperately trying to compose himself before he completely lashed out. He knew the panic and fear coursing through him wasn't Kartavya's fault, but the overwhelming concern for Ruhanika made it difficult to think straight. Before he could say anything else he might regret, Rudraksh turned and stormed away from the gathering. He made his way to the other side of the house, driven by a sense of urgency that propelled him forward. Each room he entered became a frantic search zone, his heart racing as he desperately called Ruhanikaâs name, the sound of his own voice echoing in the silence. He checked every nook and cranny, from the kitchen to the living room, and even the washroom, his mind swirling with dread. Finally, he found himself standing before Kartavyaâs room. With a surge of hope, he pushed the door open, his heart pounding in his chest. The moment he stepped inside, he felt an overwhelming rush of relief flood through him.
Rudrakshâs heart softened instantly at the sight before himâthere was his wife, Ruhanika, sitting comfortably on the bed, utterly oblivious to the panic she had caused. She was casually watching something on the laptop, munching on chocolates as though everything in the world was perfectly fine. A wave of relief washed over him, and his tense muscles finally relaxed. Without wasting another second, Rudraksh quickly crossed the room in long, hurried strides, and before Ruhanika could even register his presence, he pulled her off the bed. Wrapping his arms around her in a hug so tight that not even air could pass between them, he held her as though he never wanted to let go. In that moment, all the fear, worry, and panic he'd felt melted away, replaced by an overwhelming sense of gratitude and love. Rudraksh had lifted her off the ground in his embrace, her feet dangling as her face rested against his shoulder. He buried his face in her neck, inhaling her familiar, calming fragrance, the scent that always grounded him. It was as if her very presence soothed every frayed nerve in his body.
Ruhanika was momentarily taken aback, her eyes wide with surprise, a half-eaten piece of chocolate still lingering in her mouth while another piece rested in her hand. She had never seen Rudraksh like thisâso frantic and filled with worry. It took her a moment to comprehend the depth of his fear before she started to notice the rhythm of his heartbeat, which was anything but normal; it was racing, each thud echoing the panic that had consumed him moments earlier. As the shock began to fade, she instinctively wrapped her arms around him, her fingers gently rubbing his back in a soothing motion. The warmth of their embrace enveloped them, creating a cocoon of comfort amid the chaos. Rudraksh sighed deeply, his eyes fluttering closed as he absorbed the sensation of her presence. It was as if he had finally found the peace he had been yearning for, a sense of safety that only she could provide. With each gentle stroke of her hand, he felt the tension within him gradually dissipate, and slowly, his breath and heartbeat began to steady. Once Ruhanika sensed that his breathing had calmed and the frantic rhythm of his heart was returning to normal, she pulled back slightly to look into his eyes, she said softly, her voice filled with warmth.
Ruhanika: "Kya Aap thik hai???"
(Are you okay?)
Rudraksh slowly opened his eyes, the tension in his body starting to ease. With a tender touch, he gently placed Ruhanika back on the floor. His gaze held hers, and in that moment, he cupped her face in his hands, his fingers brushing lightly against her cheeks. He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, lingering there for several seconds as if trying to convey all the emotions he struggled to articulate. When he pulled back, their eyes locked, and Ruhanika's radiant smile blossomed on her face. It was a smile so genuine and full of warmth that it melted Rudrakshâs heart all over again, replacing the lingering fear with a wave of love and relief. Overcome with emotion, he instinctively pulled her into another hug, holding her tightly as if to shield her from the worries of the world. In that embrace, everything else faded awayâthe chaos, the fear, and the uncertaintyâleaving only the two of them, entwined in a moment that felt infinite.
Ruhanika: "Aap ko kya hua hai?? Aap Darr Gaye kisi baat pe??"
(What happened to you? Did something scare you?)
Rudraksh gently pulled back, yet his hands remained firmly on her shoulders, as if anchoring her to him.
Rudraksh: "Kaha thi tum, aur yaha kya kar rahi ho?? Pure Ghar me dundh raha hu tumhe pareshan ho gaya tha main betu."
(Where were you, and what are you doing here? Iâve been searching the entire house for you, and I was so worried!)
He felt a whirlwind of restlessness and tension coursing through him, but he kept his promise to himself; he wouldnât raise his voice. Instead, he took a deep breath, grounding himself in the moment. The worry etched on his face spoke volumes, but he remained calm, knowing that maintaining his composure was essential for both of them.
Ruhanika: "Offo, toh bhai sa se puch lete na, vahi toh hume yaha unke kamre me le aaye the ye laptop me kuch dikhane ke liye."
(Oh! You couldâve just asked Bhai Saa. He brought me here to his room to show me something on his laptop.)
Rudraksh: "Kartavya bhai??"
Ruhanika: "Jiii"
(Yes.)
Rudraksh turned his head towards the door and spotted Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rishwik standing there, their expressions brightened with smiles. The sight of them stirred an immediate sense of irritation within him. He shot them a deadly glare, his frustration still simmering beneath the surface, the tension in his eyes communicating his frustration.
Ruhanika: "Bhai saa, aapne bataya nahi inhe ki hum aapke sath hai??"
(Bhai Saa, didnât you tell him I was with you?)
Kartavya: "Little sunshine ye abhi aaya na mujhse mila nahi isiliye."
(Little Sunshine, he came to me just now, and I havenât had the chance to tell him yet.)
Ruhanika: "Achchhhaa"
(Ohhh.)
Ruhanika noticed Rudraksh's intense glare directed at his brothers and gently patted his chest to draw his attention away from them. His eyes softened as he turned to meet her gaze, and the warmth of her presence began to diffuse his irritation.
Ruhanika: "aap pareshan mat hoiye, hum yahi hai aur thik hai."
(Donât worry, Iâm here, and Iâm perfectly fine.)
Rudraksh's concern was evident as he scanned Ruhanika from head to toe, his brow furrowed with worry. Sensing his unease, Ruhanika stepped closer, placing her hands gently on his shoulders. She stood on her toes, attempting to bring her face closer to his. However, the height difference made it difficult for her to reach him completely. Rudraksh, feeling her soft hands on his shoulders, instinctively wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her a little closer. He looked down at her, a mixture of confusion and curiosity flickering in his eyes.
Rudraksh: "Kya kar rahi ho betu??"
(What are you doing, sweetheart?)
Ruhanika: "Hume zara sa uthaiye toh"
(Could you pick me up for a second?)
Rudrakshâs confusion deepened, but he couldnât help himself as he wrapped his arms around Ruhanikaâs waist, lifting her effortlessly off the ground. His heart raced as she pulled him closer, and just when he thought he had a grip on the situation, she surprised him yet again. With a gentle tilt of her head, Ruhanika leaned in and pressed her lips against his forehead, her kiss lingering for a few seconds. The warmth of her affection sent a jolt through him, igniting a flurry of emotions that he could barely contain. Rudraksh felt as though his heartbeat had jumped to a wild tempo, and for a moment, he was lost in the soft, sweet intimacy of the moment. She pulled back slightly, gazing up at him with a radiant smile that showcased her adorable dimples. Her playful expression and the light in her eyes made his heart swell with affection.
Ruhanika: "Ab aap thik hai?? Ya abhi bhi pareshan hai?? Ek aur kissie de hum aapko???"
(Are you okay now? Or are you still worried? Should I give you another kiss?)
Rudraksh found himself momentarily frozen, unable to even blink as he processed what just happened. Why did this girl have to make him blush so effortlessly all the time? The warmth of her kiss lingered on his forehead, and he could feel a rush of heat rising to his cheeks. No matter how hard he tried to maintain his composure, his face turned an unmistakable shade of red.
Kartavya, Ashvik, Rishwik: "Ek aur ek aur dedo."
(Another one! Another one! Give him another one!)
Rudraksh stood there, still reeling from the shock of Ruhanika's tender kiss on his forehead, his mind momentarily blank as he completely forgot about the audience at the door. The warmth of her affection lingered, wrapping around him like a comforting blanket. Ruhanika, on the other hand, was blissfully unaware of the stir she had caused; for her, kissing loved ones on the forehead or cheek was a natural expression of care and affection. Suddenly, she turned to the doorway, where Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rishwik stood, their smiles wide, clearly amused by the scene. Ruhanika, ever the playful spirit, leaned in again and planted another quick kiss on Rudraksh's forehead, her playful demeanor lighting up the room. The sound of clapping suddenly filled the air, snapping Rudraksh back to reality. He turned to see Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rishwik grinning widely, clearly enjoying the scene. He carefully set Ruhanika back down on the floor, still feeling a flutter in his chest from her unexpected display of affection.
Kartavya: "baat yaha tak pohch gayi aur mujhe khabar tak nahi."
(Things have escalated to this point, and I didnât even know.)
Rishwik: "bhai aapko chodo mujhe tak nahi pata hai"
(Forget you, even I didnât know!)
Ashvik: "Aur mera kya ha??"
(And what about me??)
Rishwik: "This self obsessed man."
(This self-obsessed man...)
Ruhanika: "Bhai sa kon si baat?? Aur baat kahi kaise pohch sakti hai??"
(Bhai Saa, what are you talking about? And what has escalated?)
Everyone erupted in laughter, and Rudraksh, feeling flustered, averted his gaze, his cheeks burning a bright red. It was a rare moment for him to feel so shy, especially in front of his brothers, but Ruhanika always had a way of making him feel both loved and embarrassed at the same time. As they all entered the room, the atmosphere filled with lightheartedness. Kartavya stepped closer, placing a reassuring hand on Rudraksh's shoulder.
Kartavya: "Mil gayi teri Ruuhhh, ab khush??"
(Youâve found your Ruhh, are you happy now?)
Rudraksh recalled everything that had transpiredâthe panic, the fear of losing Ruhanika, and the overwhelming relief he felt upon finding her safe. He turned to glare at his brothers, his expression a mix of frustration and embarrassment, ready to unleash his thoughts about their antics. But then, his gaze fell on Ruhanika, standing there with her innocent smile and chocolate-stained fingers, completely oblivious to the chaos that had unfolded moments ago. The sight of her brought a wave of warmth and tenderness washing over him, causing his irritation to melt away.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, betu mujhe bhookh lagi hai, khana laga dogi kya??"
(Ruhh, sweetheart, Iâm hungry. Will you serve the food?)
Ruhanika: "Jii hum abhi laga dete hai bas 2 minute."
(Yes, Iâll get it ready in just two minutes.)
Rudraksh smiled and nodded. She stuffed the remaining piece of chocolate into her mouth and slipped on her slippers. However, as Rudraksh glanced at the bed, his eyes widened in shock.
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh, tumne ek dabba khatam bhi kar diya betu??"
(Ruhhh, have you already finished a whole box, sweetheart?)
Ruhanika grinned widely, her eyes sparkling as she nodded.
Ruhanika: "Haa, ji vo kya hai ki ye bahaut swadisht thi hum swayam ko rok nahi paye."
(Yes, well...it was so delicious I couldnât stop myself.)
Rudraksh was just looking at the number of wrappers on the bed, his eyes widening in disbelief.
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai, ye khatam ho gayi, aap aur laa denge kya??"
(Rishi Bhai, this box is empty. Can you bring more?)
Rishwik: "Sorry Angel, ye imported chocolates thi, dusra aane me thoda waqt lagega US se."
(Sorry, Angel. These were imported chocolates. It will take some time to get more from the U.S.)
Ruhanika pouted.
Ruhanika: "Koi baat nahi hum intezar kar lenge."
(No problem, Iâll wait.)
Rishwik smiled at Ruhanika.
Rudraksh: "Itni sari chocolates achchi nahi hai Jaana."
(So many chocolates arenât good for you, sweetheart.)
Ruhanika: "Lagta hai aapko bahaut bhookh lagi hai, thik hai hum Jaa rahe hai, aap aa jaiye."
(Seems like youâre really hungry. Alright, Iâm going now. You come too.)
Rudraksh couldnât help but smile, shaking his head at Ruhanikaâs playful misunderstanding of the word "Jaana." Her innocent charm always managed to lighten his mood, even in the midst of the chaos. As she darted away from him, Rudraksh felt a warmth spread through his chest. He loved how effortlessly she brought joy into their lives.
Rudraksh: "Ruhhh dhyaan se."
(Ruhhh, be careful.)
Once again, his words fell on deaf ears as she had already dashed out of the room. Rudraksh sighed playfully, a smile tugging at his lips.
Kartavya: "Ohhooo"
Rishwik: "Ruhhh"
Ashvik: "Dhyaan seee."
(Careful!)
The three of them erupted in laughter at Rudraksh's flustered reaction, unable to contain their amusement. Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rishwik exchanged knowing glances, relishing the light-hearted moment that had unfolded before them. Rudraksh shot them a deadliest glare, his annoyance mixed with a hint of embarrassment and frustration.
Rudraksh: "What the hell was all that?? Kya natak laga rakha hai ye sab. Ye koi tarika hai mazaak karne ka??"
(What the hell was all that?? What kind of prank is this? Is this how you joke around?)
Kartavya: "Rudraksh sun meri baat."
(Rudraksh, listen to me.)
Rudraksh: "Aur bhai aap, aap kab se ye sab karne ke liye ??? Is faltu plan me Inka sath diya??"
(And you, brother? You went along with this?? When did you start doing this nonsense?)
Rishwik: "Bhai suno toh vo hum..."
(Brother, listen, we...)
Rudraksh: "Kya sunu main Rishwik??? Kya harkat hi ye?? Pata hai na Ruhh ko kitna khatra hai bahar, main kitna Darr Gaya tha uske liye, use kuch ho jata toh main kya karta??"
(What should I listen to, Rishwik?? What kind of behavior is this? Donât you know how dangerous it is for Ruhh outside? I was terrified for her. What would I have done if something happened to her?)
Kartavya: "Kyu farak padta hai tujhe?? kya lagti hai Ruhi teri???"
(Why does it matter to you? Who is Ruhi to you?)
Rudraksh: "Kyu farak padta hai?? Kya lagti hai se kya matlab hai aapka Kartavya bhai vo biwi hai meri, pyar karta......"
(Why does it matter? What do you mean by âWho is she to me?â Kartavya Bhai, she is my wife, and I love...)
Kartavya: "Isiliye kiya ye sab Rudraksh."
(That's why you did all this, Rudraksh.)
Rudraksh: "Matlab??"
(What do you mean??)
Kartavya: "Jiske gayab hone bhar se ghar sar pe utha liya, koi kona nahi chod ghar ka use dundhne ke liye, pagal sa ho gaya tha aur kehta hai pyaar nahi karta."
(The moment she went missing, you turned the house upside down, searched every corner to find her, went crazy, and you say you don't love her?)
Rishwik: "Bhaji, aapko ehsaas karane ke liye kiya ye sab, main aur nahi sun sakta ki Angel sirf aapki zimmedari hai, biwi hai vo aapki and she should be treated like that."
(Brother, he did all this to make you realize. I can't bear to hear you say that Angel is just your responsibility anymore. She's your wife, and she should be treated as such.)
Rudraksh turned his back to the three of them, trying to regain his composure and hide the lingering emotions.
Ashvik: "Kyu bhaag raha hai apni feelings se?? Har kisi ke sath vo nahi hota jo unke sath hua tha??"
(Why are you running away from your feelings?? Not everyone goes through what happened to her.)
Rudraksh and Rishwik both closed their eyes in frustration, as if recalling something that had slipped their minds earlier. A moment of tension hung between them as they exchanged knowing glances, each one clearly perturbed by whatever memory had surfaced. Sensing their unease, Kartavya placed a reassuring hand on Rudrakshâs shoulder.
Kartavya: "Kuch bhulne nahi keh Raha hu, apna maksad zarur pura karna, par Ruhi ke liye apni feelings ko aise Nazar andaaz mat kar, pyaar karta hai toh Maan le na."
( Iâm not asking you to forget your mission, but don't ignore your feelings for Ruhi. If you love her, admit it.)
Rudraksh: "Bhai, aapne dekha na kitni masoom hai vo, aur mera maksad bahaut bada hai, use kuch ho gaya toh main seh nahi paunga."
(Brother, you saw how innocent she is, and my mission is huge. If something happens to her, I won't be able to bear it.)
Kartavya: "Matlab manta hai na usse pyaar karta hai??"
(So, you admit that you love her, right??)
Rudraksh: "bhai vo 5 saal choti hai mujhse"
(Brother, she's 5 years younger than me.)
Rishwik: "Aapke pyaar ka uske chote hone se koi lena dena nahi bhai, toh ye bakwas band karo."
(Her being younger has nothing to do with your love, brother, so stop with that nonsense.)
Kartavya gently guided Rudraksh to sit on the bed, sensing his restlessness. He sat down beside him, offering silent support. For a few moments, neither of them said a word, allowing Rudraksh to gather his thoughts.
Kartavya: "Main bhi tere jaisa hi tha, par Savisha aayi na meri zindagi me. Ab dekh le main kaisa hu. Vo har faisle me sath deti hai mera. Toh tu kyu apne rishte ko mauka nahi de sakta???"
(I was just like you, but then Savisha came into my life. Look at how I am now. She stands by me in every decision. So why can't you give your relationship a chance??)
Rudraksh: "Use kuch ho gaya toh??"
(But what if something happens to her??)
Kartavya: "Usse duri bardasht kar sakta hai??"
(Can you bear staying away from her??)
Rudraksh remained silent, his head lowered, carrying the weight of the his emotions. He gently patted Rudrakshâs back, offering comfort.
Kartavya: "Mil gaya jawab ab??"
(Have you found your answer now??)
Rudraksh: "Haa maana karta hu pyaar nahi reh sakta usse dur, par use kuch ho jaye ye bhi bardasht nahi kar sakta hu."
(Yes, I admit I love her and I can't stay away from her, but I also can't bear it if something happens to her.)
Rishwik knelt in front of Rudraksh, his face filled with concern.
Rishwik: "Aapki shadi Angel se hona koi coincidence ya misunderstanding nahi hai bhai, haa janta hu aap baba ji ko nahi mante, par ek baar soch ke dekhiye, Angel ki life kya thi aur phir aap aaye uski life me use is narak se bahar nikalne ke liye."
(Your marriage to Angel wasn't a coincidence or a misunderstanding, brother. I know you don't believe in fate, but think about itâwhat was Angel's life like before you came into it and pulled her out of that hell?)
Ashvik sat on the other side of Rudraksh, wrapping an arm around his shoulders.
Ashvik: "Tune use shadi karke galti nahi ki hai Rudraksh, use bachaya hai kuch galat hone se, toh tere sath use khatra kaise ho sakta hai??? Tu uski Raksha kar sakta hai mere dost soch ke dekh, use zarurat hai teri."
(Marrying her wasn't a mistake, Rudraksh. You saved her from something terrible, so how could she be in danger with you? You're her protector, my friend. Think about it; she needs you.)
Kartavya: "Hum bas samjhana ka kaam kar sakte Rudraksh, par main ab bhi yahi kahunga ki tum dono ek dusre ke liye hi Bane ho."
(We can only explain things to you, Rudraksh, but I'll still say that the two of you are made for each other.)
Rudraksh stood silently, letting Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rishwik's words sink in. He knew they had a point, and there was no use arguing against it. Just as he was about to respond, Ruhanika entered the room, her hand confidently placed on her waist, her expression clearly demanding attention.
Ruhanika: "Hum intezar kar rahe the aapka, aap aaye kyu nahi humne khana laga diya hai, chaliye na."
(I was waiting for you. Why didn't you come? I've set the table, let's go.)
Ruhanika glanced over at Rudraksh, noting the blank expression on his face. Instinctively, she sensed that something was troubling him. Concern washed over her, and she decided to bend down beside Rishwik to see what was going on. However, before she could settle in, Rudraksh swiftly stood up and gently pulled her back to her feet, his eyes filled with a mix of protectiveness and urgency. Seeing the tension between them, Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rishwik exchanged knowing glances, recognizing the need for a moment of privacy for the couple. With unspoken understanding, they quietly slipped out of the room, leaving Ruhanika standing there, puzzled by their sudden departure. As they left, Ruhanika's brow furrowed in confusion.
Ruhanika: "Ye sab chale kyu Gaye??"
(Where did everyone go??)
Rudraksh: "Tum ye batao, ye kar rahi thi tum mere samne jhuk ke??"
(Tell me, what were you doing bending over in front of me??)
Ruhanika: "Hume laga aap pareshan hai, hum toh bas puch rahe the."
(I thought you were upset, so I was just asking.)
Rudraksh gently cupped Ruhanika's face in his hands, his touch both tender and reassuring. Looking deeply into her eyes, he spoke with a softness that enveloped them like a warm embrace.
Rudraksh: "Ruhh, tum apne chote se masoom se dimaag me itna daal lo ki tum kabhi mere samne nahi jhukegi, infact kisi ke samne nahi jhukogi, samjhi??"
(Ruhh, get this into your sweet little headâyou will never bow in front of me, or anyone else, understood??)
Ruhanika: "Hum samjhe toh nahi Puri baat, kyuki sar jhukane me kya burai par aap keh rahe hai toh hum Maan lete hai."
(I don't fully understand what's wrong with bowing, but since you're saying it, Iâll agree.)
Rudraksh smiled softly at Ruhanika, his heart swelling with affection. Leaning down, he pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, feeling a wave of relief wash over him now that she was safe. Ruhanikaâs eyes sparkled as she returned his smile, her dimples making an appearance and lighting up her face. The sight was so adorable that he couldn't resist himself; he playfully poked her dimples, his fingers gently pressing into the soft skin.
Rudraksh: "Good, dheere dheere samajh bhi jaogi jaana."
(Good, you'll understand eventually, love.)
Ruhanika playfully smacked her forehead with her hand.
Ruhanika: "Offo, aap bhi na bhole hai ekdam."
(Oh, you're so silly.)
Rudraksh: "What??"
Ruhanika: "Ha kyuki Jaana nahi aana hai, aapko aana hai khana khane, chaliye ab, bhookh lagi thi aapko, humne paros diya hai."
(Yes, because you're supposed to come, not go, and right now, you're supposed to come and eat. I've already served everything.)
Rudraksh let out a soft chuckle, the warmth of the moment wrapping around them like a comforting blanket. As Ruhanika took his hand and began to lead him towards the door, he found himself mindlessly following her, a smile plastered on his face. The joy of being with her was infectious. But then, in an unexpected twist, Ruhanika's foot snagged on the edge of the mat, and she stumbled, losing her balance. Time seemed to slow down as Rudraksh instinctively reacted, encircling his arms around her waist just in time to pull her close to him. She gasped softly, her hands landing on his chest, right above his heart. Rudraksh's heartbeat quickened at the proximity, a thrilling rush surging through him. Their gazes locked, and he found himself lost in her honey-brown eyes, which sparkled with a mix of surprise and delight. Ruhanika's eyes mirrored his own deep black ones, creating an intimate connection that made the world around them fade into oblivion. A soft, genuine smile spread across Ruhanika's face, one that made Rudraksh's heart flutter wildly. In that suspended moment, all that existed was the two of themâsuspended in time, wrapped in the warmth of each otherâs presence. The worry that had clouded his mind earlier melted away, replaced by a sense of peace and happiness.
Ruhanika: "Bahaut bahaut, Dhanyawad, na jaane humara kya hota agar aap na hote toh."
(Thank you so, so much. Who knows what wouldâve happened to me if you weren't around.)
Ruhanika spoke casually, her tone light and carefree, but Rudraksh felt a heaviness settle in his heart as her words sank in. He couldn't shake the memory of their wedding day. What if he hadnât been there? The thought sent a shiver down his spine, and the weight of that possibility hit him hard. Without a second thought, he enveloped her in a tight embrace, pulling her close as if to shield her from any harm that could ever come her way. Ruhanika was momentarily taken aback by his sudden shift in demeanor, but she quickly melted into his warmth, resting her head against his chest.
Rudraksh: "Main humesha rahunga tumhare sath."
( Iâll always be with you.)
Ruhanika smiled brightly. She gently rubbed his back, her touch soothing and comforting, creating a calming effect that washed over him. Rudraksh felt a wave of serenity envelop him, the worry of the earlier moments fading into the background. As she pulled back slightly, their eyes remained locked, and she flashed him a radiant smile that made his heart flutter.
Ruhanika: "Hum jante hai, aur ab aap chaliye, aaj toh humne aapke man ka hi khana banaya hai, sachchi me."
( I know, and now come on, I've made exactly what you like today, really.)
Ruhanika pinched her neck like a child, a gesture that seemed to promise something. Rudraksh couldnât help but smile at her adorable antics; her expressions always had a way of melting his heart. With a twinkle in her eye, she took his hand again and led him to the dining area, her enthusiasm infectious. Once they arrived, she gently made him sit at the table, where Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rishwik were already settled in their respective chairs. The three of them exchanged knowing smiles, amused by the way Rudrakshâs eyes sparkled with admiration for Ruhanika as he watched her every move. Ruhanika then took her place beside him, her excitement evident as she decided today would be specialâshe wanted to feed him by hand. She took a bite of the dish in front of them, savoring the taste for a moment before turning to Rudraksh. With a cute smile, she extended the morsel toward him. Without a second thought, Rudraksh complied, mindlessly eating whatever she offered.
Ruhanika: "Kaisa laga aapko??"
(How did you like it??)
Ruhanika asked. However, he was lost in his own world, completely absorbed in the moment they were sharing. The affectionate looks he gave her, the soft smiles, all of it made the surroundings fade away, and it felt like it was just the two of them. Meanwhile, Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rishwik exchanged smirks, clearly enjoying the success of their plan to create a romantic atmosphere for their brother and his wife. They had witnessed the growing bond between Ruhanika and Rudraksh, and it delighted them to see their brother so entranced by her. Ruhanika frowned slightly, noticing the silence that hung in the air and the lack of response from Rudraksh. Determined to break through his reverie, she playfully tugged at his shirt sleeves, gently pulling him back to reality. The familiar gesture worked like a charm; Rudraksh blinked a few times, coming out of his trance as he finally focused on her. His gaze softened as he looked into her eyes, which were filled with curiosity.
Rudraksh: "Huhh??"
Ruhanika: "Bataiye na kaisa laga aapko??"
(Tell me, did you like it??)
Rudraksh: "Kya??"
(What??)
Ruhanika: "Areh humne abhi toh aapko khana khilaya na, kaisa laga aapko??"
(I just fed you, didnât I? How did you like it??)
It was then that Rudraksh snapped back to reality, realizing he was seated at the dining table, his plate overflowing with his favorite dishes, with the delectable Kheer standing out among them. The sweet aroma wafted towards him, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and happiness wash over him. As he glanced around the table, he noticed Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rishwik wearing mischievous smirks, clearly reveling in his obliviousness just moments before.
Ruhanika: "Bataiye na, Achcha nahi hai kya??"
(Tell me, don't you like it??)
Rudraksh: "Areh, bahaut achcha hai betu, mujhe pasand aaya."
(Oh, itâs really good, sweetheart, I liked it a lot.)
Ruhanika grinned.
Ruhanika: "Thik hai toh hum aapko aur khilate hai."
(Okay, then I'll feed you more.)
As Ruhanika prepared to take another bite and offered it to him, Rudraksh gently held her hand, stopping her mid-motion.
Ruhanika: "Ji kya hua?"
(What happened?)
Rudraksh: "Mere intezar me tumne bhi nahi khaya hai na??"
(You havenât eaten either, have you??)
Ruhanika smiled sheepishly. But Rudraksh, shot her a mock glare.
Rudraksh: "Kaha tha na apni sehat ke sath mazaak nahi Karo. Chalo muh kholo."
(I told you not to mess with your health. Now, open your mouth.)
Rudraksh took a moment to he lovingly fed Ruhanika, who eagerly accepted each bite. The laughter and teasing from their friends filled the room, a lighthearted backdrop to the sweet exchange between the couple. Kartavya, Ashvik, and Rishwik were all smiles, clearly enjoying the adorable dynamic between Rudraksh and Ruhanika. As Ruhanika's adorably confused expressions elicited playful jabs from their friends, Rudraksh couldn't help but chuckle. Yet, when the teasing became a bit too much, he shot a glare at Ashvik and Rishwik, which promptly silenced them. But Kartavya, ever the instigator, continued to poke fun, refusing to back down from his antics. Once they finished their lunch, Rishwik sprang up with an infectious energy and bounded toward Ruhanika, grabbing her hand enthusiastically.
Rishwik: "Chalo Angel"
(Come on, Angel.)
Ruhanika: "Kaha??"
(Where??)
Rishwik: "Abhi na tum apne kamre me jaogi, aur shaam tak main jab tak lene nahi aata bahar mat aana."
(Now, youâre going to your room, and youâre not coming out until I come to get you this evening.)
Ruhanika: "Thik hai Rishi Bhai."
(Okay, Rishi Bhai.)
Ruhanika smiled and she turned towards Rudraksh.
Ruhanika: "Suniya"
(Listen.)
Rudraksh: "Kahiye Sohneyo"
(Yes, Sweetheart?)
Ruhanika: "Kamre me chaliye, Rishi bhai keh rahe hai shaam tak vahi rehna hai."
(Come to the room, Rishi Bhai says we have to stay there until the evening.)
All of them chuckled at Ruhanikaâs innocence, finding her confusion utterly charming.
Rudraksh: "Mujhe nahi tumhe keh raha hai."
(He told you, not me.)
Ruhanikaâs confusion deepened as she looked from Rishwik, who was bouncing with excitement, to Kartavya, who had quietly approached her from behind. She felt a gentle grip on her shoulders, and instinctively, she turned to face him.
Kartavya: "Yes little sunshine, tumhe rehna hai, baakio ko toh bahaut kaam hai."
(Yes, little sunshine, youâre the one who has to stay there. The rest of us have a lot of work.)
Ruhanika: "Par hum akele kya karenge bhai sa?? Aur ye humare sath kyu nahi aa sakte??"
(But what will I do alone, Bhai Sa?? And why canât he come with me??)
Kartavya: "Main tumhe movie laga ke deta hu tumhara time nikal jayega."
(I'll set up a movie for you, your time will pass by.)
Rishwik: "Main tumhe bich bich me coffee laake deta rahunga."
(I'll bring you coffee now and then.)
Ruhanika grinned.
Ruhanika: "Rishi Bhai meethi coffee."
(Rishi Bhai, sweet coffee.)
Rishwik: "Haa baba meethi coffee."
(Yes, sweet coffee.)
Rudraksh: "Koi coffee nhi milegi, itni chocolates khayi hai tumne, daant kharab ho jayenge"
(No coffee at all! You've eaten so many chocolates, your teeth will rot.)
Ruhanika pouted sadly, her eyes shimmering with a hint of disappointment. The sight tugged at Rudraksh's heartstrings, and melted.
Rudraksh: "Okay fine pi Lena."
(Okay fine, you can drink it.)
Ruhanika's face lit up with joy and she grinned. Rudraksh couldnât help but chuckle at her infectious happiness.
Ashvik: "Areh yaar kitni baatein karte ho tum sab, jaldi karo na mujhe samaan lene bhi jaana hai."
(Oh man, you guys talk so much! Hurry up, I also need to go pick up some stuff.)
Ruhanika looked at Ashvik, her eyes reflecting a mix of curiosity and confusion, before turning towards Kartavya.
Ruhanika: "Bhai saa suniye"
(Brother, listen.)
Kartavya: "Bhai sa ki little sunshine sunaiye."
(Yes, Bhai's little sunshine)
Ruhanika: "Kya aap bhi Ashu bhai ke sath samaan kharidne chale jayenge??"
(Are you also going with Ashu Bhai to buy things?)
Kartavya: "Kyu little sunshine???"
(Why, Little Sunshine?)
Ruhanika: "Vo ye na bahaut bhole hai toh dukaandaar unhe buddhu bana dete hai."
(Well, you see, heâs very innocent, and the shopkeepers always trick him.)
Rudraksh chuckled at the sight, but Rishwik couldn't contain himself and burst into laughter. Ashvik, with his exaggerated baby face, looked utterly ridiculous and undeniably adorable at the same time. His wide eyes and exaggerated pout were enough to elicit giggles from everyone in the room.
Ashvik: "Teddy yaar tum kab tak mujhe roast karne wali ho is baat pe??"
(Teddy, for how long are you going to roast me over this?)
Ruhanika: "Humne aapko kab sek diya??"
(When did I ever roast you?)
All started laughing.
Rishwik: "Chalo ab tum mere sath Angel, main batata hu sab tumhe, chalo."
(Come on, Angel, youâre coming with me. Iâll explain everything to you. Letâs go.)
Ruhanika nodded and then turned toward Rudraksh.
Ruhanika: "Hum jaate hai, aap aa jaiyega hum intezar karenge."
(Iâm going, but you better come too. Iâll be waiting.)
Rudraksh smiled softly, blinking his eyes in assurance as Rishwik took Ruhanikaâs hand, leading her away. He watched them, a sense of warmth swelling in his chest as he noticed the two of them giggling together over some shared joke, their laughter echoing through the living area. Kartavya, settling beside Rudraksh, nudged him playfully and said.
Kartavya: "Pyaari hai na"
(Sheâs adorable, isnât she?)
Rudraksh: "bahaut."
(Very.)
Rudraksh said mindlessly, still caught up in the warmth of the moment.
Kartavya: "Pyaar bhi bahaut karta hai na"
(You love her a lot, donât you?)
Rudraksh: "Haan bahaut."
(Yes, a lot.)
Kartavya chuckled, breaking the momentary silence and bringing Rudraksh back to reality. Rudraksh quickly averted his gaze, feeling a slight flush creep up his cheeks as he realized he had been lost in thought. Ashvik, noticing the exchange, settled down on the other side of Kartavya. Rudraksh cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure.
Kartavya: "Kya socha hai??"
(What have you decided?)
Rudraksh: "Kya ye sahi hai??"
(Is this the right thing to do?)
Ashvik: "Pyaar me sahi galat nahi hota hai mere bhai."
(There's no right or wrong in love, my brother.)
Rudraksh: "Vo choti hai mujhse, aur meri life, vo toh pata hi hai na use kuch ho gaya toh??"
(Sheâs younger than me, and my life... You know it, right? What if something happens to her?)
Kartavya: "Tu hone dega use kuch??"
(Would you let something happen to her?)
Rudraksh shook his head.
Kartavya: "Ek baar ek kadam aage badha ke toh dekh, baaki cheezein khud thik ho jayegi."
(Just take one step forward and see. Everything else will fall into place.)
Ashvik: "Tum dono ek dusre ke liye hi Bane ho, tu use narak jaisi zindagi se bahar lekar aaya hai aur vo tere dil ko vo sukoon deti jo kahi saalon se tune mehsus nahi kiya. Sahi keh raha hu na??"
(You two are made for each other. You pulled her out of a hellish life, and she brings peace to your heart, something you haven't felt in years. Isn't that true?)
Rudraksh remained silent this time, simply listening to them. Kartavya stood up and placed his hand on Rudraksh's shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
Kartavya: "Little sunshine ka birthday hai, uske liye dress lene ja raha hu. Tu dimaag ko thoda araam de aur phir sochna, par dil se."
(It's Little Sunshine's birthday, and I'm going to buy her a dress. Give your mind some rest and think it over afterward, but with your heart.)
Kartavya recognized that Rudraksh needed some time alone to process everything swirling in his mind. With a knowing glance, he gestured to Ashvik, and the two quietly slipped out of the room, leaving Rudraksh in a peaceful solitude.
As Rudraksh sat there, he was lost in thought about his marriage with Ruhanika. Memories flooded his mind: how terrified she had been of everyone around her, how she had only placed her trust in him, and the anguish he felt witnessing her struggle. Each thought pierced his heart, reminding him of the depth of his feelings for her and how profoundly she impacted his life.
He reminisced about the small moments they sharedâher laughter, the way she would shyly smile at him, and the comfort of simply being in her presence. A warm smile spread across his face, brightening his features as he reflected on how far they had come together. Suddenly, an something sparked in his mind, with newfound determination, he stood up, ready to put his plan into action. Today was a special day, and he wanted to make it unforgettable for Ruhanika.
Rudraksh: "Mainu pata si hun maine ki karna si."
(I know what I have to do.)
