Chapter 399
The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning
Lem turned to Madelyn and asked, âHey, Madelyn, Iâm stuck on a problem here, Can you give me a hand?â
Madelyn glanced at him and shook her head. âIâm stuck too. Why donât you ask Kennedy? Heâs ranked first in the whole grade, â1 Lem put on a pitiful expression. âHe wonât help me.â
âBut Iâm not sure how to solve it either!â Madelyn then turned to Kennedy, inquiring, âKennedy, have you figured out this problem? Could you teach us?â
Kennedy retrieved a workbook from his backpack. âTake a look at this. If you donât get it, feel free to ask.â
Madelyn glanced at Kennedy and then at that workbook. After she took it, she was instantly shocked when flipping through it. âYâYouâve completed all of these? When did you finish them? How did you do it so fast?â

Jadie settled into a seat beside Madelyn and clarified, âTheyâre using our classroom for a movie scene.
I picked up your backpack. Please check if anythingâs missing.â
Madelyn accepted it gratefully and said, âThanks, Jadie.â
Madelyn was the last to leave, adhering to the usual dismissal time. When she finally departed, it was already half past nine.

So, she contacted the driver and told him not to come pick her up today. The driver found it strange but didnât say much. She also sent a message to Ethan to inform him, but he didnât reply. She figured it would be alright and waited for him to read the message.
