"Tell me darling, what did you guys do on your date?" Liz asks and I smile.

After my date on Saturday, I didn't want to get up from bed on Sunday, so I stayed in bed all day and ended up eating snacks from the vending machine that's in the common room, just like the true snack whore I am. I didn't get the chance to tell them about my date, but I did tell them that it went great. Lucas and Cole eventually joined me at the room and we watched mean girls. Lucas even recited Cady's, spring fling dance, speech.

"Well he picked me up at the dorm and got me roses," They're not my favorite but the gesture was really sweet. "And then he took me to this restaurant it wasn't too fancy but it wasn't too laid back either, so I liked that. Then he took me to this beautiful cliff and we ate cannolis while looking at the stars." Lizzies smiled at me.

"That's is so cute and romantic." She gushes and I nod rapidly.

"I know right it was a good night." Except the awkward car ride cause he had asked me about my parents, and the part where I cried myself to sleep.

"What else happened?" She asks. You mean besides sleeping with Chase in the same bed right after I went on a date with Max, not much. I don't get to answer her cause Mr. Waters comes into the class room. I turn to her and tell her I'll tell her later.

"Good morning students." Mr. Waters says as he walks into the classroom. He's awfully cheerful today. Did he get into Mr. Green's weed stash? "Today I have decided to give you a free period, I didn't have anything planed, so free time. Leave do what you want but don't do anything illegal." He says and I smile. I turn to Liz and she smiles at me. We stand up and start to leave the room. We stop mid-track and look at the boys to see if they are going to come with us and they nod. Chase is the first to stand up and he comes next to me.

"So where are we going princess?"' He says and I smiled at him.

"I don't know wherever the hour takes us." I pause. "Ooh let's go get May she's in AP Bio right now. She says she has a love hate relationship with that class so she might want to come."

"And we can never forget Cole he's also in that class." He tells me and I nod. I didn't know he was in that class. That sound so horrible from my part it sounds like I judged a book by its cover.

"Okay let me text her." I take my phone out and start looking for her contact.

Me: Hey babe, you wanna skip class?

June🌺: Yes please get me out of here.

Me: With pleasure, tell Cole to come too.

June🌺: Okay see you in a bit.

Me: Okay.

"Done. She is on her way and she is bringing Cole." we continue walking down the hall and I see Liz and Lucas laughing at something Lucas said. I'm going to make it m life's mission to get those two together by thanksgiving. They would make such a cute couple and they clearly have feelings for each other.

"Maddie are you listening?" Chase asks next to me. Whoops I dosed off.

"I'm sorry what?"

"I asked if you wanna order something from Uber Eats and eat it by the bleachers." He says chuckling.

"Yeah." I smile and nod rapidly.

"Okay I'm going to give you three options, option A, B, or C."

"Chase I'm sorry to break it to ya, but if you didn't know it by now, those aren't options those are letters." I say slowly.

"I'm aware but every letter holds a fast food or restaurant." He explains.

"Oh smart, then C because it's the first letter of the name of the person that is buying the food."

"You chose Burger king."

"Ooh you know what we should do?" I pat his arm very rapidly as I say this.

"What?" He looks up from his phone and looks down at me chuckling when he sees my excitement.

"We should do that thing everybody is doing on social media, where there are two people and then they play rock, paper, scissors, and the one that wins gets to pick the fast food they will eat-"

"We're already doing that Addie, only you didn't have to compete with me."

"I wasn't finished asshat. There are 4 courses, drinks, appetizers, main course and dessert. We compete, and if I win the first round I choose the fast food place we're getting the drinks from."

"No name calling, I thought we were past the 'I hate being your roommate' phase." He continues and smiles when I roll my eyes. "And let's do it."

...

We were currently at the top of the bleachers waiting for May, and the food to get here. Now that I think about it, May is the only one that isn't here, Cole got here like 15 minutes ago, but May isn't here. Cole said that she told him she had to go to the bathroom. I think she's talking with a guy, I'll have to investigate that later.

Oh and I almost forgot, I won all of the rounds, for drinks I chose Denny's milkshakes, because who doesn't love Denny's. For appetizers I chose Wendy's and I picked the barbeque boneless wings. Those are the best things that have ever existed in this world and I'm being totally honest. For the main course I chose Chili's and I picked the sliders. And finally for desert I chose McDonald's and picked mc-fucking-flurries as Chase like to put them. Now that I think about it that's a lot of food, and he's paying for it. Holy shit he can't pay for all of that, I mean he can because he's rich, but like that's a lot of money.

"Hey let me pay half." I say out of the blue and he looks at me like I'm a weirdo. "What?"

"I'm not letting you pay half." He says shaking his head.

"Why not?"

"Because I offered to pay."

"Yeah but like we ordered a lot of food. C'mon let me pay half."

"No."

"Hey babes what did I miss." May says and sits down next to Lizzie.

"They're fighting like an old couple over splitting the bill." Lizzie answers while resting her head on Lucas's shoulder, and I see Lucas blush. Aww he blushed I swear I will make it my life's mission to get them together before Thanks giving.

"Just split it. Easy as pie." I smile at May and Look back at Chase. He rolls his eyes and takes his phone out. He sighs and looks back at me.

"Fine, fine. You wanna split the check? You owe 63.81." He says and I nod. Why was he being so stubborn about this? It's just sixty-four dollars.

"Okay. May pass me my backpack please." She nods and hands me my backpack.

"Here you go babe." She say

"Thank you." I get my wallet and hand him sixty-four dollars. "There you go sixty-four dollars." He takes the money and then his phone rings.

"The food's here. Cole will you help me go get it?" he nods standing up.

"No Cole stay here, I'll go." I say and he shrugs sitting down again. Chase looks at me and sighs. What's his problem today, he was just fine like an hour ago. We start walking towards the entrance of the school and got the food.

"Why didn't you want me to pay half?"

"Because I don't want you to spend your money on something that I offered to buy."

"But it was too much money and I wanted to pay half because I will be eating some of that food too you know."

"Yeah, yeah let's go."

"So I was thinking we already skipped the first class of the day why not skip the whole day?" I said taking a fry out of the Chili's bag and eating it. Chase nods and grabs a fry too.

"Okay, and we could watch movies in the common room."

"Ooh let's take the food there instead."

"Sure, want me to text everyone and tell them to meet us at the common room?"

"Yes please." I say and take another fry.

"Hey stop that or there aren't gonna be any left." I give him puppy dog eyes and he sighs. "Fine but give me some too." I do a tinny victory dance and he laughs.

"Of course what kind of roommate would I be if I let my roommate starve?" I give him a fry and he takes his phone out an/d starts texting somebody. Seconds later my ass vibrated and well I guess he sent it to the group chat Lucas insisted we made so we could all know where everybody was at all times. It was actually smart because if one of us goes missing we'd know it right?

"Okay I told them to meet us in the common room."

"Okay. Hey can we go to my locker first I have to get my jacket." Who knew skipping school would have so many pit stops. He nods and we make our way to my locker. I'm loving Seattle but the cold is just about killing me. Miami was never this cold of course the only days it was cold it was on rainy days and well that's when this jacket came in handy.

"Don't you have any other jackets in the dorm?" he asks when we start to walk out of the school.

"Nope this is literally the only jacket I own." I told him and he gives me a confused face. "I live in Miami remember, you know sandy beaches, very hot days. I actually used to wear a bikini to school underneath my clothes and have a beach bag in the jeep and I would go to the beach every day with Seb, Javi and Hailey."

"Who are Javi and Hailey?"

"Well Javi is my e- Sebastian's best friend, and Hails is my best friend."

"Did you have many friends back at home or were you one of those girls that everybody want to be friends with but only has one close friend?"

"I did have a lot of friends back at home."

"Were you like a lot friends popular or a lot just a lot of friends?"

"What is this an interrogation?" I laugh and continue. "I was the first one."

"You were popular?" He says shocked.

"I'm still popular, I just left for senior year not forever. And does that seem so hard to believe?"

"Kind of." I gasp dramatically and he chuckles. "Why were you popular?"

"Well I'll tell you but don't act so shocked." I say and he nods. "I was a cheerleader."

"A cheerleader?" He says shocked. I rolled my eyes and nodded.

"The head cheerleader to be exact. I started when I was a freshmen, I quit on March and gave the position to Hailey. We both wanted to be cheerleaders since we were little and we joined the squad together." I smile I remember the day that we both had tried-out for the team we were both very happy to had been chosen for the team.

"Why did you quit?"

"Personal reasons. I never made it to practice on time and sometime I didn't even go." We made it inside Fredrickson Hall without any teacher seeing us. And were on our way to the common room. "Wait. Here take these to the common room and I will take the mcflurries to the fridge that we have in the dorm so they don't melt." I say and hand him the bags of food I was carrying.

He goes into the common room and I go up to my room, put the mcflurries in the fridge and go to the closet. I change out of my uniform and into some sweats and a simple t-shirt. We're skipping the whole day why not get comfortable. I go back to the common room and sit next to May on the couch who is texting somebody, but once she sees me she turns off her phone and looks at me.

"So what did you guy's order?" May asks and I tell her.

"We ordered Denny's, Wendy's, Chili's and McDonald's." She nods and Chase starts to take the food out. I take my milkshake and take a sip. "So what movie are we watching or movies, we are skipping the entire day after all."

"Ooh we should watch Harry Potter. It is a cold and rainy day after all." Liz says and I nod.

"Actually I'm just here till third period, I have an oral presentation in history today its thirty percent of my grade, so I do have to go to that class, but after that I can come back." May says and I nod.

"Okay." I smile at her and she smiles back. She's acting strange today, I wonder why. I stand up and walk to the collection of movies that they have next to the arcade games and search for the Harry Potter movies. I put on the first one and almost jump with excitement when the Harry Potter theme song turns on. The Harry Potter movies have to be my favorite movies ever.

"You good princess you look like you're ready to jump out of your seat and dance to the theme song." I tried to hit him in the face with a fry. Tried being the key word, he successfully caught it in his mouth.

"Shut up." I say and he laughs.

"Oh my god look at him." I slightly scream when I see him.

"Who?" Chase says and I look at him.

"Professor Snape."

"The old dude?" Cole asks and I gasp dramatically.

"Old dude? Excuse you he is gorgeous."

"Darling he's old." Liz says and I gasp again.

"He totally is, but Maddie's right he is gorgeous." May comments and I nod pointing at her.

"No he's not." Chase snorts.

"You're just jealous cause you know you'll never be as gorgeous as he is."

"Not true." He smiles at me and I stick my tongue out at him. "Let's not be childish Maddison."

AUTHOR'S NOTE

Hello my little love bugs. Here is chapter 23. It's more like a filler chapter I didn't know what to do in this chapter, but at the end I found what to write. I feel like I didn't do much in this chapter, but at the same time I feel like I filled it up too much, I'll let y'all decide that in the comments.

So May was acting strange what do you think is happening with her? I already know, but if y'all guess it I might do a rare thing and upload two chapters in one day (Not today though). Anywhore Merry Christmas Eve my babes I hope all of you are staying safe during these Christmases and having fun also staying safe.
