Love starved
And they tell me you are
Evil and i answerâ
Yes,I know.
Reyansh and aradhya decided to head out for dinner after the shopping.
Aradhya, excited to connect with Reyansh's Friends as it was surprising for her to see him have friends except dhruv.
As they arrived at the cozy restaurantâa popular spot known for its lively atmosphereâReyansh and Aradhya were greeted warmly by Abhay and Harsh, who were already seated at a table near the window. The ambiance was vibrant, with cheerful chatter and the inviting aroma of delicious food wafting through the air.
Harsh, with his trademark smile, wasted no time in breaking the ice. He started joking about how the restaurant had a "new diet plan"âtaking a meal's worth of time just to decide what to order.
The others chuckled, appreciating how he managed to lighten the mood instantly. As the menus circulated, Harsh continued with his playful banter, poking fun at the quirkiest menu items, which made Aradhya feel immediately at ease.
The conversation flowed effortlessly, with each friend sharing updates about their lives. Abhay, the quieter yet thoughtful member of the group, chimed in with witty observations that perfectly complemented Harsh's comic relief.
Aradhya, eager to get to know Reyanshâs friends better, took the opportunity to ask questions that sparked lively discussions.
"By the way, what have you both been up to lately?" Aradhya asked, directing her question at Abhay and Harsh.
Abhay, smiling warmly, leaned back in his chair. "Well, Iâve been buried under a pile of papers lately," he replied with a chuckle. "Teaching mathematics at the university keeps me busy, especially around exam time. Just when I think I can relax, thereâs always another batch of assignments to grade or new concepts to prepare for my students."
nodding at abhay with a smile,Aradhya turned her attention to Harsh. âAnd what about you, Harsh? What do you do?â
Harshâs expression turned serious for a moment, but then he grinned. âIâm an IAS officer. Itâs definitely a challenging job, but itâs incredibly rewarding. I get to work on policies that can make a real difference in peopleâs lives.â
"Thatâs impressive!â Aradhya replied earnestly. âWhatâs the most interesting project youâve been involved in so far?"
Harsh leaned forward, animatedly sharing a recent initiative aimed at improving education access in rural areas. He described how he worked with local communities to develop programs tailored to their needs, emphasizing the importance of grassroots involvement. His passion for his work was evident, and Aradhya found herself enthralled by the stories he told.
Aradhya was deep in conversation with Reyansh's friends, Abhay and Harsh. Her eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as she listened and shared stories, her laughter ringing out like music. Abhay spoke about his experiences as a mathematics lecturer, and Harsh added his humorous insights about his work as an IAS officer.
Reyansh, sitting nearby, couldnât help but admire her. He watched as she seamlessly connected with his friends, making them all laugh with her witty comments and genuine interest. There was something captivating about how she carried herselfâher confidence, her smile, and the way she made everyone feel at ease.
"Family?"she asked keeping her gaze between them.
"I am married"Abhay answered,his voice softening"and I have a son,he is 9 months,2 days old as my wife describes it"
Aradhya couldn't help but chuckle at his words and Reyansh who had been silently admiring her suddenly snapped out of his Wonderland and looked at him.
"You have a son?"That was the shock of the century for him.
"Agar kabhi doston ka khayal ho toh pata chale na!"Harsh didn't miss a beat adding his witty remark.
Reyansh felt a wave of regret rush through his veins"what did you name him?"
"Kairav kapoor"
"Such a beautiful name,I want to meet him now"Aradhya says excitedly.
"Of course there's no way I am not inviting you both on dinner soon"Abhay spoke.
The dinner ended with endless jokes by harsh, witty remarks of Reyansh and abhay, playful lines of aradhya and heartily laughter of all.

Reyansh and Aradhya sat together planning the details of their upcoming engagement, a somber topic came up. Reyansh, wanting to touch upon everything that would matter, hesitantly asked, "What about your parents? Do you think we should invite them to the engagement?"
His eyes had darkened by their only thought, but he needed her to take the decision.
Aradhyaâs expression shifted slightly at the mention of her parents. It had been five long years since she had seen themâyears filled with distance and emotional healing away from their abusive behavior. She smirked knowingly, sensing a way to handle the situation that would uphold her boundaries while maintaining some level of dignity.
âWell, inviting them might make for an interesting dynamic, donât you think?â she replied playfully, arching an eyebrow.
She appreciated Reyanshâs concern but also realized that this was not a decision to be taken lightly. "But I have no intention of having them at the wedding."
Reyansh looked at her curiously, trying to understand her reasoning.
Aradhya crossed her arms, her smirk growing a little wider. â I know exactly how to get them to attend my engagement."
Reyansh raised a brow, his curiosity at its peak and also the admiration for her--she looked no less than a devil with that pretty smirk on her face.
"When I was in Italy,2 years ago I met a man,he was the lawyer i appointed for some deal that did not end up well.later on,I got to know he was also one of the trusted lawyers of my grandpa. He told me he had been searching for me and also wanted to meet me earlier but my parents didn't allow.he told me a very surprising thing!"Aradhya elobrated,"he told me that all the singhania property which was on my grandfather's name--he left it in the name of his grandchild, which means me"
Reyansh's face held shock and something dark and evil--this news was destruction for her parents.
"So?"Reyansh amused"are we playing or you want me to end the game?"
"Let's play"they both smirked, knowing what's the end and they are winning this game.
