You're my humanity ; Hope Mikaelson ✔︎

-Narrator's perspective-

With Emma, Dorian and even Caroline who was on the other side of the world was desperately trying to find a way to get Alaric, Arabella and the girls back, Hope was trying to threaten Alyssa who was stuck on the cell.

The tribrid just learned why she stuck Arabella in the prison world. Was to teach Hope a lesson too by seperating Hope and Arabella from each other. Literally.

But it only motivated her to find a way to get Arabella the hell out of there, and as well as the twins and Alaric. She definitely regretted on the 'time apart' as the last thing Arabella even thought of her. It was eating her alive and if only she could take it back, she would. She will. Once she gets her back.

Now she had to deal with Cupid with Landon who tried and failed to take him down. It was a pretty good distraction and desperately wanted to take her mind off of it.

On the other side of different worlds, Arabella was hell bent on leaving the prison world and just take her anger out on Hope. Because of what she last heard from the girl, she should be.

For now, Being mad on Alaric will do because he sent Sebastian to this world. Without even telling her, that is. But mostly because She and Sebastian was actually making progress on being friends. And she assumed that he left willingly, not unwillingly.

"You lied to me?" Lizzie questioned Alaric who placed the wooden stake down to pour himself bourbon. He offered one to Arabella who reluctantly took it and sipped the burning alcohol. "You told me that Sebastian chose to leave the school."

"I said he made his choice. He refused to respect to respect our rules." He explained calmly.

"So you sent him here?" She asked, unbelievably mad and she should be.

"He had help. There was a witch who did the spell. Dark hair, kind eyes. Amazing accent." Sebastian spoke up.

Arabella snorted, knowing exactly who it was but nonetheless, she grabbed the bottle of bourbon and poured it on her glass some more. She definitely didn't need to face Kai sober.

"You can yell at me after we arm ourselves." He said, looking over to Arabella who rolled her eyes and placed the bottle down.

"Dad, why do we need weapons so bad?" Josie asked, still a little out of the loop.

"All you need to know is that we're in danger, and we need to find a way out now." He turned around to leave but Sebastian sped to his way, Arabella speeding between the both of them.

"Enough. Both of you." She warned, moreover Alaric who looked at the Vampire behind her.

"We're in a new world now. Perhaps you are no longer the one in charge." Sebastian walked towards him, didn't mind of Arabella who tried to hold him back.

Alaric drove the stake in his stomach, disregarding how Arabella glared at him but let the man drop to the floor. "Want Lizzie to hate you some more? Keep going." She said and placed Sebastian, who thanked her, on the couch.

"Arabella. Please." He pleaded, looking at the blonde who sighed and followed him in pursuit, leaving Sebastian on the couch with Lizzie to tend with.

Soon enough, they got to the Memorial Library, or atleast, what it was before it turned into a Memorial Library.

"Dad. This is about Uncle Kai, isn't it? That's why you're so worried?" Josie came in the room, walking up to the two who was gathering weapons. "I know this has to be hard for you, but you said he was desiccated."

"You don't know what he's capable of. And until I'm positive no one's set him free, I'm not taking any chances."

"Dad, who could have set him free?" She asked, watching Ric grabbing the crossbow from under the table.

"I can think of two or three people." Arabella spoke up, Ric glaring at her.

"I'll explain all that later. Right now, I need you to go to the Meadow and get the Sandclock before anyone else finds it. Arabella, you help her- protect her." He instructed, pushing away a few books on the shelf and behind was a dagger. "Then I need you to come back here and hide. And stay hidden." He handed the blade to Josie who took it hesitantly. "Watch over her, both of them." Ric said to Arabella who nodded. Ofcourse she will.

Josie turned around. "Dad, this is all my fault. If I hadn't done black magic in the first place, we'd never been in this mess."

"We all make mistakes." Ric said simply before turning around and left.

"Come on, Jo." Arabella said, gesturing her to go on and leave before time runs out.

"What did he mean by we all make mistakes?" She asked, hoping that Arabella would know because the vampire looked pale since they got here. "I know that look. You had it when you saw the merge book when I was researching it."

She shook her head, wanting to change the topic. "It's because Hope told me she wanted some time apart. I got the memo when I disappeared from thin air and got transported to this hell." She huffed, knowing Josie will back off and not question it again.

"Lizzie? Sebastian? Where are you guys?" Josie stumbled down the Lounge again with Arabella dashing inside the kitchen, hoping she'll find them there.

With Arabella gone, a Vampire spoke up behind Josie. "Quick Question. Who the hell are you?" Josie looked flabbergasted.

"Jade?" She asked, surprised that Jade was here.

"How do you know who I am?" She asked in skeptic-like. Then it dawned on her as she chuckled. "Little Josie Saltzman all grown up. Is Lizzie here, too?"

"Uh, no... Jade, what are you doing here?" She asked, lowering her guard which was a big mistake.

"If it's okay with you, can we have this conversation after I eat? Because I'm starving. And you look delicious." Her eyes shifted to her Vampire side, Alarming Josie who was searching for Arabella.

The fear soon got flushed down when someone jabbed a stake inside her chest from behind. Jade dropped to the floor and Kai revealed himself.

"Come with me if you want to live." He looked at the Siphoner.

Arabella showed out of no where, drove her hand inside his chest and pushed him against the wall. "Malachai. Lovely to see you here." She said in between breaths, Kai squirming under her because she has her hand gripping on his heart.

"Arabella! Likewise!" He said, gritting his teeth in a smile while holding her wrist, trying to make her let go. "Hold on hold on... I can help you-"

"-Oh spare me the dramatics." She sneered, eyes turning to red. "Don't worry. You'll wake up with an aching pain in chest."

"Wait wait wait!" He shouted, looking past Josie who was behind her the whole time. "I swear. I'll help you find the other ascendant in this world. You can't find it without me."

Arabella glared at him, not believing for one second that he did have it. "You Fooled me once before. I'm not gonna make the same mistake twice." Before she can even pull his heart out, Josie drove the sword inside her chest from behind.

The Salvatore gasped, not having the strength to take Kai out with her. She collapsed on the ground and looked at Josie. "You cannot... trust him..." Was her last words before dropping on the wooden floor, unconscious.

From where Josie was standing, they needed to find a way to get out of here and fast. Wasting

time where with Arabella keeps killing the heretic wasn't too much to go on. But then again, it's her mistake and she should be the one to fix it.

Josie pulled the sword out of her body, looking at Kai who seemed surprised. "Where's this ascendant?" She asked, swinging it on her shoulder to try and intimidate her uncle.

In less than an hour, Arabella woke up, gasping for air as she stood up. She looked around and no one was in there. "Damn it... Damn it!" She shouted before speeding away the house.

All she could think about was whatever rash decision Josie did, it will all affect them very harshly. But ofcourse, the nervous sensation of Kai doing something bad to his niece was lingering in her mind as her footsteps were picking up its pace to her way.

The only place she could thought about was the bar where Bonnie chained up the heretic. She just hoped that someone was there and knew someone is when Alaric went on a quest by himself. In fact, as her steps were getting to quicken, her hair was flying in the air by the gush of wind. Any human would just think that a harsh weather were bestowed upon them but in reality, it was just Arabella who was panicking inside her own mind.

There was only one thing that she was tasked to do- one thing and yet, she failed. She didn't know where Josie was, She didn't know where Lizzie was even. But then again, Arabella will search every house in this world just to find Lizzie. She just hoped that she wasn't too late before those students got to them first.

With her problems in the Prison world, she can't help but still think about a certain blue eyed girl in another world. It was still painful deep inside her heart but the only thing keeping her going was the thought of making sure that the Saltzmans were okay.

Despite Hope literally crushing her heart, She kept going. Knowing that Arabella's whole world will crash down just by them seperating, but Hope had to do it anyways. Even if they didn't talk through it, Arabella still felt the burning and wrecking pain on her heart.

Once she'd arrived in the bar, she kicked the doors down for it to open. Hoping to find someone in there. "Okay I'm a little pissed so tell me I can kill someone in here." She growled, looking around the room once she got inside. "Oh great. Goodbye." Arabella spoke up seeing a werewolf in there. She drove her hand inside his chest, ripping apart his heart in the process before taking it out.

"Ara! Where's Josie?" He asked in panic, seeing no one else besides her. She shook her head, saying as she was sorry.

"Your daughter killed me and went on a mission with Kai Parker." She huffed, cleaning her hand with a cloth behind the bar.

Before he can even ask, footsteps walked inside the room.

"Oh goody. You're both here." Kai, from out of no where said as he waltz inside the room. "That's disgusting." He pointed at the dead but not dead wolf on the ground.

"You." Alaric whispered, still having his crossbow in hand. Arabella clenched her fist into a ball in anger.

"What can I say? I'm all heart." He snickered, gesturing at the crushed organ on the ground. "Hey, look at us- We're beard bros." Kai chuckled but Alaric triggered the Crossbow, shooting him in the chest directly.

However, Kai just smiled as his skin turned to grey and he dropped to the floor with a colorless vein surrounding his body. Soon enough, they heard footsteps come close to them and Josie walked in. "Dad!"

"You cannot just kill me like that." Arabella said in an angered tone but everyone in the room knew she was relieved to see her again.

"Josie." Ric sighed out in relief, placing his crossbow on the counter before hugging his daughter. When he pulled away, he looked back to a deceased Kai then back to her. "What are you doing with him? He could've killed you."

"He saved my life, actually." She said in a shocking tone but neither of the two in front of her acknowledged it.

"And you killed me in that order." Arabella snorted, Josie only looking at her with a sorry look.

Alaric looked at the two before focusing more on what's the problem. "I don't care. He's a liar. You can't trust him. You hear me?"

"Was he lying when he told me you sent a bunch of your old students here to punish them?" She asked, all three knowing what happened now.

"I told you, we all make mistakes." He said in a much more calmer tone. Ric walked towards Kai, pulling a machete that was besides him. "I'm not about to make the same one twice."

"Dad, you can't kill him in this world." Josie said, her father gripping on the handle of the weapon tightly.

Ric looked over to the blonde who nodded. "Well, I'm sure as hell gonna try." He swung the blade downwards to his neck, seperating his head from his body.
