"This is ridiculous..." Arabella whispered, crossing her arms while she watched the 'super squad' form into a circle and lay down on the middle of the gym. Atleast she didn't have to worry about Hope getting hurt because she is the only one who won't be asleep.

There are blankets and pillows on the table nearby, she got one set and laid it on the floor, already feeling tired of all this plan Hope planned. Hope strung Arabella to a corner, crossing her arms in nervousness.

"I don't think you should do this." She said in a suggesting tone to Arabella who sighed knowingly.

"Hope. I'm practically an original vampire who can't be killed unless the onerei has a white oak lying around." The Blonde reminded, softly telling her so that Hope would back off. "Besides, It's not like you told me where the urn is. The location is safe, capt."

Hope sighed and shook her head. "I'm not worried about the urn. You faced horrible things when you were still a witch and now you get to face your dead dad." She crossed her arms, looking at her seriously.

"My past is something I was sensitive with. I did many horrible things there, Hope." Arabella sighed, cupping her cheeks seriously. "I will come clean to you after all of this is over. It's not just my dad I'm worried about on seeing."

"You're making me more worried than before." She sighed, wanting to persuade the vampire on staying awake but she could see it in her eyes, determination.

"You don't have to be. I'll tell you everything if it makes you happy. Right now, I need to sleep and kill that night hag dash onerei." Arabella lets out a comforting smile, dropping her hands to her side.

Hope nodded in acceptance. But that still didn't make her feel better. She leaned towards Arabella's ear and whispered that no one could even hear, "I need you to hide the urn..."

When she was done on telling Arabella who seemed madly confused, she planted a loving kiss just on her cheek before pulling away. The blonde heaved out a sigh, not questioning her intentions.

"Sweet dreams."

Arabella sat up, panting as her heart went crazy beating inside her chest. "Hey hey, It's over. You're here." Hope said in worry, holding the girl in her arms.

"No no.. you can't fool me." Arabella chuckled while hyperventilating and stood up to get away from Hope. "What's it gonna be, huh? My dead father? Mother? The coven I manslaughtered?" She shouted around the room.

"What? You killed all those lives?" Hope whispered, afraid of the vampire who seemingly enough looked mad and insane.

The Blonde turned her head back to Hope, seeing fear around her eyes making her heart drop. "No no no. Hope I—" She tried to hold her wrist but she backed away in fear.

"Don't come close to me. You're a monster, Arabella." She spat, anger overtook the fear and glared at Arabella who seemed to lose it.

Before the Blonde could even talk to her for comfort, someone threw her over the wall. She immediately stood up but when she went and searched for Hope, the girl was on the ground and lifeless, lying on a pool of blood.

"Hope!" She shouted in agony, her vampire speed got to her, holding Hope's figure desperately. "Fuck— I... No..." Arabella whispered, holding her cheek.

"You are a monster, Arabella Luna Black. You don't belong in this world and look what you did." The night hag appeared, kneeling in front of Arabella who was sobbing. "You killed her." She gestured to Hope.

Arabella felt blood trickle down her chin, her fangs were out and she looked at Hope seeing the bite marks on her neck. "I didn't— I didn't do this." She whispered, looking at the woman.

"You did." She sneered and held her throat tightly making Arabella cough and try to get out of her restraint but it was no use. "Just like how you killed your father who was only trying to salvage his family. Your mother who tried to save you from death. Your entire coven who did nothing and was innocent."

"Stop..." Arabella whispered, clinging on her wrist but it seemed like her vampire abilities were useless. She got relief when the night hag let her go. "You are not real!" She shouted and tried to capture the night hag but she disappeared already.

Arabella sat up, feeling her sweat run down her temple. She tried to look for Hope but the girl was no where to be found. "Damn it, Hope." She whispered. "What was Hope doing in your dreams?" Arabella asked when she heard Rafael say it.

"The usual, being a badass." He said nervously and a tint of guilt when he looked at Arabella. She just nodded and held her neck, marks grew to red from her dream.

All of a sudden, the doors got destroyed when A monster came flying in with Hope as well. They both stood up. "Pretty much like that." Raf said shocked from their sudden appearance.

"Stay back guys, I got this." Hope said when the rest were about to help which made them back off. She jumped the Onerei and it stumbled to the ground, gripping on Hope's neck.

Arabella was about to jump in before Alaric showed up and tossed her an arrow. "Hope. Eyes!" He shouted and gave it to her from a distance. She caught it and broke it into two, stabbing the monster on its eyes quickly.

Before Hope could even walk to Arabella, the blonde took one look at her and saw blood fill her eyes. She took a step back, startling Hope who looked confused of her behaviour. Arabella clenched her eyes shut and ran away using her speed. The Tribrid frowned, looking at Ric who seemed confused as well.

☘︎︎

"Bella, what's wrong? You looked restless out there." Hope jogged to her figure by the fireplace, the blonde was curled up on the floor while leaning on the couch. She sat down besides her, wrapping an arm around Arabella's neck. "It was your nightmare, wasn't it?"

Arabella sighed nodding of her question. "There are many things I still haven't told you. Plently, including what happened to the people I grew up with."

"You can tell me anything, Bella. I would never judge you of anything you did, you know that." Hope said, noticing how the blonde would stare into a deep fat nothingness of space on the floor.

"I was only 15 when I started to show signs that I couldn't control my magic..."

"That child is a misfortune ready to uphold! She will bring nothing but destruction to our coven, Aurora." The elder of their coven shouted in fury, pointing at a teenage girl who was sitting just outside of their cottage by the door.

Aurora shook her head desperately. "Please, she is just a child. My daughter will learn how to control her powers in due time." She pleads.

"There is a way for us to get what we want." Another voice spoke from behind them, Emmett, Aurora's husband and Arabella's father. He slowly walked towards them and whispered to the eldest ears.

The mother between them 3 looked at the two with confused gestures. She turned her head to Arabella who was hugging her knees, innocent looking.

"No. No! She is my daughter." She shouted that even small Arabella could hear but didn't know what was going on. "You cannot take her away from me— I forbid it, Emmett."

"She will not die, my love." He said and held her hands. "Arabella Luna will live inside of us, her power given to all. A noble sacrifice."

"Aurora, you simply have no choice." The eldest witch said and they all simply looked at the purple eyed girl, staring at the bonfire in a daze. "She will be a hero to us all. A gift has been given to us and it is Arabella. We will do the sacrifice when she is of age."

"That doesn't make sense." Hope said, startled and disturb of what Arabella told her. "They were going to steal your magic and kill you for what? More power?"

Arabella scoffed and nodded, still looking at the fireplace. Reminded her of the event. "That's not all."

"Marcel! Put me down this instant!" Arabella giggled when the older boy picked her up off her feet and spun them around. "Now, before my father sees!" She warned and Marcel gave in, gently placing her down on the grass.

Marcel laughed, still at awe of how beautiful the girl looked. What was not to like? She has gorgeous blonde hair, pale and fair skin, eyes that was so unique you couldn't possibly imagine someone having such a color.

"I have not seen you for more than 2 days, give me the benefit of the doubt, young Luna." He said when the two of them sat on the grass, in front of them was the orange sky, sun about to set. "Also, Elijah has yet to see you tonight. He said he misses you."

"Mr. Mikaelson. Always the gentle and nobleman." She gushed jokingly. "But I cannot come tonight. My mother forbade me to exit our village under any circumstances."

Marcel heaved out a respectful yet frustrated sigh. "You must come! Elijah and his brother is persistent on seeing you again."

"Even Nik? I seriously doubt that, Marcel." She said in a teasing manner.

Arabella and Niklaus may have been two peas in a pod but sometimes it gets a little complicated than said. The girl was honest and fair, the man on the other hand is ruthless and unforgiving. She once saw Klaus threatening someone for speaking ill of Arabella behind her back.

"Oh and here." Marcel said and pulled a bottle of wine from behind him, two glasses as well. "It's only a few days until you turn eighteen. I remember ofcourse." He said cheekily, pouring a serving for both of them.

"I mustn't. Mother will be mad." She said seriously, looking behind them where the village is but nobody seemed to be strolling around for them to get caught.

"What Ms. Aurora doesn't know, will not hurt her." Marcel insisted and gave her a glass, knowing full well that it has his blood in the beverage. "I will not tell a soul of this, I give you my word."

Arabella sighed softly, looking at him before grabbing the glass. "If my mother kills me, I will be haunting you if I were to be a ghost."

"Happy birthday, little Black." He said, just laughing at her joking threat. Marcel closely looked at Arabella while he took a sip of his drink, watching her drink half of the wine.

"Thank you, Marcellus. For keeping me company." She smiled genuinely, not knowing of the consequences if she makes one little mistake tonight.

Marcel nodded, "You are my bestfriend, Luna. I will always be with you."

"So you unknowingly drank his blood?" Hope asked just to make sure of what she heard. When Arabella nodded she continued. "Then what? He killed you?"

"N-No... I uh, I did." She confessed, fidgeting with her fingers on her lap, nervous of what Hope might think of her. "I slit my own throat."

As if Hope did read her mind, she held her hand that was slightly shaking. "It doesn't matter how you died. I'll be right here." She soothed, rubbing straight lines on her fair skin. Arabella nodded, still couldn't bring herself to look at Hope in the eye but continued.

Arabella didn't know it at the time but Marcel stayed in their village, lurking in the shadows and still contemplating on having to be the one to kill his bestfriend. That was atleast, what he thought.

He heard all of it, how Arabella was sobbing silently behind a wall. How his bestfriend was drawing blood from her lip because she was biting on it too hard to stop herself from sobbing loudly.

"She is dangerous. Her birthday is tomorrow, we are prepared for all of it." Emmett said in a whispered tone so no one could hear them. So that their daughter won't.

"Arabella is our daughter, Emmett. I cannot live without her." Aurora sobbed, clasping her face with her two hands in sadness.

Without the parents knowing, Their daughter heard all of it. She ran back up the stairs quietly, closing her door as gentle as she could before searching for something under her mattress. When she finally saw it, the girl gripped on the handle tightly.

Arabella looked out the window, the night bloomed and the stars shining to her. Almost as if they only appeared to stop the little witch from killing herself. But the pain was too much for her to bare.

Never once in Arabella's life that she imagined her own parents turning their back to her. But they did and it crushed her heart. She heard everything, starting from how they were planning it since she was 15, she was only alive today so that she can be 18 and of age.

"I'll never give you the satisfaction..." She whispered and brought the sharp blade to her neck, didn't hesitate to slash it with her choking up blood.

Arabella dropped her figure to the soft pillow behind her, red and violent liquid gushing out of her wound. She died alone, not caring what her bestfriend Marcel would think once he finds out that she committed a crime, and that was killing herself.

However, she didn't know that the vampire blood runs in her veins. Didn't know that Marcellus betrayed her trust by slipping his blood on her wine and thank god he did because she woke up minutes later, gasping for air. Marcel was just outside her window, ready to take her out of this awful place that he once thought was perfect for her. Before he could, the door slammed open.

"What in—" Emmett widen his eyes, many blood surrounded the white coverings and silk beddings. "What have you done..." He whispered.

"Oh my... Bella-Luna what have you done?" Aurora asked, hand was on her mouth in shock of what she just saw.

Arabella was, however, shocked too. She felt her life slip away, she died but now she felt more alive than she could ever be. Before the girl could even explain, someone came in the room through her window, carrying her bridal style and jumped out.

All she remembered was Marcel's angered face and that was it.

"... Marcel brought me to a small cabin near my house. I remembered asking him what he did to me, panicking and because that my emotions were all over the place." She explained, letting herself relax under Hope's gaze. "Soon enough, I never wanted to be a vampire. He told me what will happen if I do. The hunger, bloodlust, heightened emotions was al too much. I wasn't suppose to feed— I was determined not to."

Hope tried to stay quiet but when Arabella was no longer talking, she pursued her lips. "Then what happened?" Carefully, she asked.

"Marcel happened. He slashed a girl's neck and threw her my way. I restrained myself not to, I really did but he forced me to feed until I killed her. Until I became a vampire." She sighed in defeat, bringing her hands to her eyes to cover them. "Then, my mother did a locator spell. Found me a few miles away from our village. Safe to say, even when I became a vampire, they were still desperate to punish me for killing myself and taking away my magic..."

"No! Stop!" Arabella shouted desperately, multiple people were restraining her on a table in the middle of a blood drawn circle. She tried to get off but the more she restrained, the more she felt weak.

Earlier, her emotions gotten the better of her when she saw her father found her. Emmett was about to snap her neck but Arabella's anger was too much and so she dug her teeth in his neck, until he was dead. She regretted it ofcourse but it's like something inside her clicked when she saw her father. All she saw was the need to kill him, and she did.

"You killed your own father, Arabella. You are not my daughter." Aurora, or atleast, Emmett inside the body of Aurora said hovering over Arabella. "From this day on, you will stay immortal for eternity and no strong weapon will be enough to kill you." She said one last time and started to chant, holding other witches hands.

"Mother! Stop! I beg you!" The girl pleaded, feeling something inside her that was too painful for her to counter. She screamed and felt like it has been hours until she dropped to the ground, blood running down her nose.

Everyone around her stopped chanting as soon as the spell was finished. Then, Arabella felt something inside her that was too powerful, vengeance and the need to kill ever single one of the people in this village. Her eyes shifted into red, veins visible when she dug her teeth inside the closest person she was.

Their screams was deafening, but all the vampire could see was red. She didn't care at that moment of what will happen after this. After she shoved her hand through a man's chest and crushing his heart from the inside.

After she was done, there was only one person alive to witness all of that but remained untouched. Arabella took out the dagger from her pocket, the very one her father gave to her to protect herself, the same one she used to kill herself. Call her sentimental but its only fitting as revenge.

"This does not change anything." Aurora sneered, Arabella not knowing it's her father who was controlling her mother. "You are still a filthy monster. You are not my daughter."

Arabella scoffed, gripping on the dagger tightly. "And you are not my mother." She said seriously before digging the sharp end of the dagger to her stomach, hearing Aurora gasp from the pain. "I loathe you, you and father. I will never mourn your death until the very end of this world." Arabella coldly said and pulled the dagger out of her stomach, watching the woman drop to the ground with the rest of 'em.

The teenage girl looked at her hands, red blood covering her skin until to her forearm. Her hair was also tainted with the blood, shirt, everything. She looked at the blade on her hands, then on a figure who had just arrived in panic.

She glared at him, the once bestfriend she loved with all her heart was there. Marcellus looked frightened by the amount of blood and bodied surrounding her. But the once witch didn't care as she walked towards him.

"I despise you too." She whispered, watching Marcel took a step back from her cold words.

"Elijah soon followed after Marcel, I had no choice but to come to them." Arabella finally finished the story, looking over the girl who looked at her sympathetically. "I never understood what my mom said before she did the spell. The no strong enough weapon. It was on the back of my head after all I've done." She whispered sadly.

Hope scooted closer, wanting Arabella to know that she will never leave her side.

"There was also something else..." She whispered, guilt of what she could have done lingered on her head. Hope gestured her to go on, waiting patiently. "The morning that I came with the Mikaelsons, was the day I took off my daylight ring and stood outside with the sun up. I didn't expect that I will wake up."

"Oh, Bella..." Hope whispered in shock, looking at her with a soothing look.

Arabella sighed nodding. "I tried everything. Stabbing myself with wood, vervain, desiccation, all which was not a permanent solution." She said in a sad tone, wondering what Hope's life would be if she actually died and went to the other side. "I'd understand if you want some time alone after all that you learned."

"Ofcourse not..." She answered and tilted her head downwards to meet Arabella's eyes. "Nothing you said changed between us. I could never leave you, you know that."

"Good..." Arabella sighed in relief and cracked a smile. "Because I am in desperate need of a good nights sleep with you besides me."

Hope chuckled, standing up while the two walked side by side to go to their room. They were too tired to even care about changing clothes to something more comfortable.

Arabella could even close her eyes and still feel Hope over her arm, planting small and multiple kisses to her neck until she grew tired and fell asleep. The blonde smiled softly, pulling her closer until she drifted to sleep as well and this time, it was the best sleep she's gotten.
