Chapter 17 - Deep Talk

It was the fourth day of our vacation and Hawaii, well Alex is a much better person when he was away from work. He was more fun and friendly when he forgot about his problems and work. We kept challenging one another non stop but it made us closer to one another.

It was almost midnight but I couldn't sleep, i was inside of my room scrolling on my laptop. I read an article, I watched a video of Alex and i in twitter, E news, YouTube, Insta and many more. It seemed like it was a massive successful for both of us.

Hot couple were having a romantic vacation in Hawaii

Bella Clark has his man watching her back in Hawaii! What a sweet guy he is.

"Very sweet" I sarcastically said.

"Bella Clark and her new man the hot young billionaire Alexander Adams are having a sweet romantic vacation in Hawaii! How cute is that?" The host said then i laughed at it.

"Both of the couple first showed up a few months ago, Adams attended Clark's fashion show by appearing at the front seat of the show then ended up leaving the after party together after the cheating rumors from her long term relationship with the football player Anthony Harvey"

"Bella has been posting a lot of stuff of them having a good time in Hawaii in her Instagram story lately, and look at this post of them together in there"

I scrolled down into the comment bar and there were so many comments that supporting us together, well there were so many hate comments about us but maybe they were just jealous.

I closed the video then went through my Instagram, i used to spend a lot of time on my personal account by looking through the explores. I used to spend my time by looking at the videos of food, dogs, and satisfying videos like slime and the others. I know it sounds pretty immature but hey, it's my thing.

I was scrolling on it until a video of Alex and i was reposted by an account that has so many followers. It was an account of cute videos of relationships and girls things. It was a video of Alex and i on the cruise when we went into the whale watching.

"Oh my god" i was filming the whale that came out of the sea.

"I promise that your dream will complete one by one" he said then i laughed.

"What?" I laughed.

"You were only looking at them on your kindergarten book now you see it lives" he said.

Then the video ended.

The caption was Bella Clark is living her dream.

"Well kid you don't know what is going on in here" i said under my breath.

I opened the comment section just to see how people responded to us, how they react.

I closed the comment section right away when they started to talk about kissing touching and stuff cause I really couldn't imagine how to start it. I mean we've kissed and we were so drunk that I couldn't even remember how was it felt.

"Aah!" I suddenly scream because i was surprised by Kelsie's FaceTime on my laptop because it had a loud sound in the middle of the empty room and i was having a deep thought that scared me which made me shocked.

"Shit Kelsie" i said.

My door suddenly being opened which revealed Alex, "bell you okay?" He asked me.

"I'm fine it's just the FaceTime's sound surprise me" i said.

"Oh" he said.

"Can i get in?" He asked me then i nodded.

Well I didn't know why he wanted to get in but whatever he could come, and I didn't really want to argue or talk too much to make him go.

I was tired.

"Hey Kelsie" i said as i saw her on my laptop screen.

"Hey Bell how are you?" She asked me with a smile.

"I'm fine how are you?" i said.

"I'm fine it's just haven't seen you in a while" she said while laugh a bit and it made me smile.

"How's hawaii?" She asked me.

"It's good, very relaxing and stuff" i said while half smiling.

"What time is in there?" She asked me.

"Midnight now" i said.

"Anyway your parents are keep texting me asking me about you" she said then i let out a breath, i stayed in a silent didn't know how to respond.

"Have you avoiding both of them?" She asked me.

"It just a normal me at the end of the year Kels" i lazily said, to be honest i felt like Alex wasn't supposed to hear this conversation so I didn't really respond too much.

"Yeah it's just a competition of them trying to take you home for Christmas" she said then i smiled.

"How's Alex?" She asked me.

"Good" i said.

"He didn't do anything that hurt you did he?" She asked me.

"I guess not" i laughed.

"I'm going to sell my son to help you paying the fine of the contract if you want to call it off" she said then it made me laugh.

"Haha you're hilarious kels" i said.

"Well i have to be, to make you relax and not stressing about anything" she said.

"You know you're going to be sick if you have a lot of things going in your mind right?" She asked me then i slowly nodded.

"Okay now go get some rest, Victoria secrets's announcement is going to be sent by tomorrow" she said then i smiled.

"Yeah thank you Kels, Take care" i said before ended up the phone call.

I closed the laptop in frond of me before putting my head on my knees in front of me, i knew he probably heard everything.

"You've heard everything you can go" i said.

He didn't say anything but i could feel his steps were getting closer into my bed before taking a sit on the bed.

"Why are you avoiding your parents?" He asked me.

"I don't know" i said.

"Why are you avoiding your dad?" I asked him back.

He took a deep breath before finally speak, the room was in a silent. It was kinda cold because of the air conditioning and his appearance inside of the room was made me shiver somehow. A smell of a manly cologne spread on my nose since he walked in, he was wearing a black shirt and a sweat his jaw clenched a couple time and those stares that came from those hazel brown eyes penetrating into my soul burning my skin.

"I'm not avoiding him" he said.

"He's avoiding me" he let out a breath.

"Because" he said.

"There are two sons in a line for the next leader for Adams Empire" he said.

"I know you must be thinking that I'm his son, everyone think that i am next in the line but I'm not" he said while i kept hearing his side of story.

"But my dad is an identical twin brother from Derek's dad, Derek's dad is 2 minutes older than my dad" he said.

"Which his dad supposed to be the one who take all of the control or maybe my grandpa would separate the company for both of my dad and Derek's father" he said.

"But Derek's parent had an accident when he was a little, so the company is fully taken over by my dad" he said.

"Now Derek and i are getting older both of us are raised by the same person and we're at the same age" my eyes finally looked up at him who was already staring at mine.

"But you said you hope that you have an older brother to taking all of the company?" I asked him.

"Yeah but Derek is different he's not a big brother that capable enough to take our family company"

"He can be an evil" he said.

"Why not separating the company like your grandpa wanted to?" I asked him.

"I don't know, Derek wants it all he wants to fully control the company by himself." He said.

"He would do anything to get the full position" he said.

"Is this what have been in your mind?" I asked him.

His eyes were looking at me before his head slowly nodded, i looked away cause I couldn't resist his strong stares.

"That's why my dad is making a gap between both of us" he sad and it sounds sad.

"Do you love him?" I asked him.

"Of course" he said.

"How about you? Do you love your parents?" He asked me then i stayed in a silent, still hugging my knees in front of my chest.

"I do" i said.

"Then why are you avoiding them?" He asked me.

"I don't know" i said.

"My dad was an actor and my mom was an actress also a singer have you heard about them?" I asked him.

"Yeah they were a popular couple" he said then hearing him said that, affect my feelings.

"They actually were a definition of goals, everyone said that until a news about them getting divorced surprised everyone cause they seemed fine" i said.

"I was only 5 back then, didn't know anything still very stupid for not noticing that my mom and my dad are not together anymore until i was 9" i said.

"Very stupid" i said but he just shaking his head.

"My mom would ask me where i wanna sleep tonight, sometimes i chose with my dad then my mom so my life is always moving from one to another" i said.

"It" I stopped

"Broke everyone's heart when they got divorced including me" i said.

I let out a breath before a tear suddenly fell from my eyes, my vision blurred because of the tears that covering my eyes.

"I found out before they told me that they already got divorced" i said.

"I didn't realize cause both of them were always traveling, I thought they were gone because they were working but i was wrong" i said.

"But avoiding them isn't the right choice Bell" he said but then I suddenly became emotional.

"You don't understand" he said.

"They're always asking me where am i going to spend Christmas every year, but"

"They have their own family, they have wife, husband, and kids" Without realizing my voice was shaking.

"Every time i tried to join them i feel like I'm in the middle of someone else's family" i said while brushing my tears away, his eyes were blinking while those stares never left me.

"They have their own happy family and i felt like I am only a lost kid that they don't really need" i said to him.

"I'm not a part of their family they have a happy new one and I'm here i got none" i said.

"I had a trust issues because of them until Anthony came then he did the same thing, I don't know what's going on with life" i said..

"I had Stacy but she's gone, everyone just left me just like that" i said.

"Sometime i felt like i should hurt myself" i said.

"No you're not going to hurt yourself no more" he said.

"I don't know i just feel so lost" i said.

"I'm so so sorry I shouldn't told you that" i said brushing my tears with my sleeves.

"I have a principe not to cry in front of a guy or because of a guy but i just did" i smiled before whipping my tears away.

"No it's fine" he said.

"Alex who is the girl that i met when the time where we were going to the hospital to visit your cousin?" I asked him.

"It's just an employee" he lied, i knew he must be lying.

I frowned then distracted myself by opening my laptop screen to show him what i had just seen.

"Look we were on top of their conversation topic" i said to him.

He took a look then read some of the article on the website about us, he smiled while his eyes were looking at the screen.

"We're so goals they said" he said.

"Omg they are my favorite" he reads the comment.

"Some of them are still confused are we a friend or a lover" he said before moving away from the laptop.

"Yeah, they said we never kissed" i said.

"How about the video in the club?" He asked me then i shook my head.

"I don't know, some of the people said that we're only faking it" i said cause i often seen them posting a comment on my post.

"Just ignore them" i said after i saw his face looked confused.

A notification suddenly appeared on my laptop screen, it was an email from Victoria's Secret and i was so nervous. Are they going to invite me this year? My fingers moved slowly until i clicked on the email and the Congratulations word was the first word that i saw.

I jumped out of my bed which made Alex surprised, i was ready to jump around my room but he suddenly asked me.

"What happened?" He asked me.

"I'm going to walk in Victoria's Secret again this year!" I said to him.

"Congratulation" he said.

"Are you going to be there?" I asked him.

"I think so" he said.

"Okay good cause if Stacy walk again too it means Anthony is also going to be there" i said.

"You should tell me the date so i can put it on my schedule" he said then i smiled.

"Now you should go get some rest, we have a show tomorrow" he said.

"Yeah, okay bye"

"I'm proud of you though" he said.

"Thank you, good night" i said.

"Good night"
