Goodbye

Taehyung was devastated after seeing that. Again and again that scene kept flashing in his mind. He doesn't know what he is supposed to do. He just doesn't know how is supposed to make someone understand how he is feeling right now.

He went home thinking not seeing Jungkook for a while will make thinking a bit easier for him. He knows this hurts him more but he needs to prepare himself for what's coming next. After taking his things he went to home.

He reached to this coming out of the elevator. When he reached to the apartment. He saw Jungkook too come back from "work".

Seeing Taehyung Jungkook passed smile at him. But Taehyung thought of that moment when Jungkook smiled at that person.

Jk : You come early today. Wanna have lunch together .

Tae : Why you care when I come, Thank you for your greatness but I can take care of myself.

Said with an angry and rude voice went inside and slammed the apartment door. But this action hurt him more. He slid down the door and started sobbing loudly. Thankfully the door was soundproof so inside  sounds can't be heard outside not outside one.

Tae : I am so-sorry b-bun. I a-am sorry-y p-please fo-forgive how I-I talked but it hurts , it hurts a lot. (Said crying hard)

It's been night and Taehyung is still there only in that messy condition. Tears falling from his eyes. Hugging his knees.

The next morning Taehyung stood there and his eyes had dark circles around them as he didn't sleep last night. Taehyung went to freshen up. Coming from the bathroom he looked at his reflection.

How different today he looked. His eyes weren't like this even when Jungkook rejected him. Cuz this time his eyes hold guilt in them. Guilt of talking badly to Jungkook yelling at him.

Jungkook not even knowing why he acted this way, talked with him rudely when he was asking his well being. He thought to apologize to Jungkook. After changing and applying some concealer around his eyes not want to look like a ghost.

After coming out he went near Jungkook's apartment . It's standing there for a while waiting for him. But Jungkook didn't come out. He knocked on the door. But no one answered it. After waiting a bit more. He pressed the passcode of the apartment and went inside but it was all dark and empty . No one was there.

Tae : Jungkook might be left for work already . (He said to himself)

Taehyung signed and he too went for work, but mind all day stuck there. He just wants to talk to Jungkook. He loves him but they're friends too he doesn't want to break that. He blames himself constantly for behaving childish.

Jungkook has every right whom he wants to date, wants to be with, He (Taehyung ) can't question that it's not like they were in a relationship and Jungkook is cheating on him. He just went with someone whom he liked. And that person isn't Taehyung. Taehyung kept thoughts pass  around it.

It's time to leave Taehyung to go back home. After reaching there he had to courage himself  to knock on the door. After a while Jungkook ok opened.

Taehyung saw him smile a bit and Jungkook returned a big smile towards him.

Jk : you return from work, I am hungry I already cook, come fast freshen up then we will eat. Go.

Jungkook pushed him towards his apartment for him to get fresh up. Taehyung is an alter shocked seeing Jungkook acting like nothing happened. Taehyung was happy that Jungkook didn't mind his yesterday's behavior much.

After freshening up he quickly went to Jungkook's apartment. He saw Jungkook was serving food. He smiled and went there.

Jk : you came, I tried making a new dish to tell who's it?

Jungkook quickly gave it to Taehyung who tasted it.

Tae : it's amazing, really tasty.

Jk : really, wait let me taste it too. Mmmmmm yes it's really amazing I am a really great chief. Right.

Taehyung was looking at Jungkook with amazed it's like he travels back in time. It's like how it was before. They are both happy. He smiles and again starts eating.

Tae : kookie (he called him in a low voice)

Jk : yes (gave him a questionable look)

Tae : I am sorry, I shouldn't have talked to you like this. I am really sorry I won't do that. Very grateful that you didn't mind it much.

Taehyung finished speaking and looked at Jungkook who was completely silent. Taehyung understands he shouldn't have brought up this topic in the first place for their happy bubble break because of him. Jungkook kept looking at him. He bit his lips in trying to erase the awkwardness which Taehyung created.

Jk : aa yes, th-that fine. I understand (said with a small smile)

Taehyung witnessed the complete aura of Jungkook changed, he felt he should have brought this up It seems like it made Jungkook uncomfortable. After that Jungkook didn't say much and ate their food in silence. He regret bringing that. Jungkook was trying to act normal with him again and he was just ruined.

Tae : I will wash dishes

He took them and went to wash them, Jungkook quickly left from there to his room. After wishing dishes Taehyung looked like Jungkook had already left. Taehyung went to his house.

Taehyung felt really different that time. He went to bed to sleep seeing Jungkook is fine and not hurt. It relaxed him. He can sleep today. He signed and lay down but something just didn't feel right.

Next day

Today was seen really slowly passing. He went to Jungkook who told him he had work so he won't be here for two days. Taehyung was really sad he couldn't able meet him for two days it's really hard for him but he felt this time will pass too.

After two days

Jungkook's work was done. Taehyung thought of meeting at dinner time. Taehyung was working when he heard a knock on the door. He gave permission to the person who thought about the employee or his assistant.

Tae : What happened? (Asked his eyes still stuck on the company screen)

Jk : Taetae. (Called him in a low voice)

Taehyung's all attention was taken and he quickly looked at him. Jungkook standing there with a small smile.

Tae : you here, don't tell me you will come. Sit here. When did you come from work.

He got silent in return he looked at Jungkook with concern . Who was sitting in front of him with a nervous look. Seems like to say something.

Tae : What happened to Kookie, you wanna say something?

Jungkook took a deep breath and what he said felt Taehyung was completely shocked. He can't believe it.

Jk : I want to terminate my contract with your company.

Tae : what? (For a moment he thought he heard wrong) are you serious (Jungkook nodded slightly) Why is something wrong.

Taehyung wanted to know the reason why Jungkook all of sudden turned down such important brand endorsement.

Tae : are you feeling uncomfortable working with me. Because I proposed to you. I promise it will never bother. That's my promise.

Taehyung doesn't want Jungkook to go away from him. He wanted to be with him. What Jungkook said made him more shocked

Jk : I already terminated my contract with the label Taehyung it's nothing to do with your proposal.

Tae : what do you even know what you just say Jungkook. You're terminated your contract with your label too. Why are you doing this.

Jk : I leave everything, my work , music fame ,this place, everything.

Tae : you want to say you're letting go of your dreams for which you work everyday. You let them go leaving them, leaving me (He said in tears)

Jk : I want to live like a normal person Taehyung , I don't want this celebrity life anymore I want to live like a commoner.

Tae : then you don't need to leave from here. Jungkook you can do that staying here too.

Jk : I can't I want to start fresh without a glimpse of the past. (It's been hard to speak)

There was thick silence between them. None of them didn't speak for a minute.

Jk : Let me know when the terminating contract will come I will sign them.

Tae : are you doing this for him. The person you are with at xxx cafe that day.

Jk : Yes, I am doing this for him. (He heard a bitter laugh from Taehyung)

Tae : you love him so much that you can leave everything for him.

Jk : Yes, I love him so much that I can leave every single thing for him. Even if it brings joy to me, I will let it go. (Said looks straight into Taehyung eyes)

Taehyung felt like Jungkook said this to him. But it can only be his dream not reality. In reality Jungkook is not his.

Jungkook left devastated Taehyung in his cabin whose eyes were pouring tears continues.

Soon news of beloved idol Jungkook left the industry and everyone was in shock. Many were showing their disappointment with the protest truck in front of the label in which Jungkook was there.

Whole Korea in a complete chaos. No one wanted Jungkook to leave. There are many fans trying their best to stop him. But the response they get from Jungkook Or his label.

On the fine Evening every person who follows Jungkook on weavers  got notifications

" Jungkook started a live " Jungkook's and other people who were eagerly waiting to get updated about this matter just want Jungkook to deny this, so they can breathe in relief.

Jk : Heyyy~ army ( Showed his bunny smile on camera and can see millions of people join his live  in minutes.)

Jk : are you really leaving please don't

Jungkook read a comment with a sad voice, his eyes were holding tears. He was reading comments of the Army for not leaving.

Jk : seems like you all know about my leaving. (He signs and takes a moment before speaking again) I know many are not ready but sometimes life's puts you in a situation which you weren't ready for I understand but I have to leave. Many of you are disappointed, angry I understand but I want to be myself and be happy. I hope you all will understand me like always and support my decision. (Saying everything Jungkook's eyes already teary) Meeting you all was just amazing I can't even express how I felt loved by you all no matter how much grateful I will it will be less. No matter if I stay or leave but I will always love from the bottom of my heart.

But for now it's goodbye to you all.

Jungkook wave at everyone's eyes pouring tears in them.

Taehyung from his cabin watching  the Jungkook's live in the same condition as Jungkook when Jungkook off the live He hugged his tab  from which he was watching the live. And cry even more.

Tae : Goodbye Love.
