Chapter 23 -22, part II-

The soft music melodically swayed us into a trance in each other's embrace, we took a moment to

fully appreciate each other through our poetic colored eyes; he was hurricane while mine was the

ocean on a sunny day, it clashed perfectly with each other.

My blonde hair curled behind me and tumbled right to left as we circled the dance floor with my

dress swooshing like a tree against the wind, my mate's hand fitted in mine as we continued to

dance endlessly, I didn't want to stop at all, I wanted to be stuck at the moment with my divinely

sculpted mate and me on the ground and in each other's embrace forever.

I was in love and that felt great, even our baby agreed as it kicked once again, he/she was going to

be a very powerful wolf mixed with my Beta and his Alpha blood.

"Can I be your Beta?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Don't even try Destalia, we have a baby to take care of and you're already a Luna.” He reasoned.

"Why not? I could be both.” I suggested but his gaze told me to shut up.

Well if you can't even go for a run, what makes you think you can go to both? Lace sassed and I

knew she desperately craved for a run but I couldn't for the sake of the baby, I would have to go to

the doctor for a check-up.

"Drop it." He ordered. that was enough indication for me to shut up and never bring it up again.

He turned dazed as he mind linked his pack guards and he angrily signaled back in his mind,

growling lowly and intimidatingly. We stopped and he dragged me out of the cuisine.

He walked back and got the guards as they sprinted off without telling me, I wasn't dumb so I had

to catch clues as to what happened since the Alpha literally ditched me. My stomach wasn't helping

as I had one of these painful aches, I screamed as I collapsed, holding my stomach.

Crystal, my mate's sister, sprinted to my side and helped me get up as I groaned in more pain with

tears, I was in a heavy agony and I couldn't wait for my body to calm down as it began heating up.

"Hurry, please,” I complained in a low whisper as she widened her eyes at the severe situation I was

going through and panicked as she called other members to help me. I tried mind linking Alpha but

he wasn't responding, he blocked me.

The doctor suddenly rushed to get me on the hospital bed as I writhed in torturous discomfort. He

held me still with straps on the sides of the bed as I let out more breaths to calm myself.

"That is a very strong contraction, it will happen all the time before the childbirth.” He analyzed and

I groaned even more at the news. It was very strong indeed.

"Is there any painkillers?" I asked and he shook his head with a disapproved look.

Go through it then tell us what you think, old man. Defensive Lace sassed and I rolled my eyes at

her. They were men, they didn't care about that stuff.

"You shouldn't do medication, your baby is strongly healthy.” He said and I sighed dejectedly, I was

not going to handle too much pain, I might even kill my mate.

"You love putting me in so much pain, right baby?" I hugged my arms around my small bump, it was

still a week and one day yet it still grew too much considering it was a wolf.

"Take these soothing creams, they will help and spread it on your stomach before sleeping.” The

doctor said as he gave me a bag of lotions. I nodded and thanked him.

"I swear, I'll never get pregnant.” Crystal shivered in terror. I laughed at her dramatics as we

continued walking but one thing I realized was that Alpha seemed very stressful with a scowl on his

lips and a frightful demeanor.

"Baby, what happened?” He questioned and I explained, he grew even more alert and weary, it was

five pm and he was already tired. The beads of sweat rushed down his muscles and he reeked a lot

from running and shifting, I could tell that it was draining him down. He was the ultimate hard-

working Alpha ever known so I had to calm him somehow.

I know a few calming tips. Lace hinted as I scoffed at her and tutted. We both departed from Crystal

as I took his hand in mine and walked him back to our mansion. The eery silence inside helped in

comforting him away from the one thousand complains and more. We approached my room as I

ran the hot bath with bubbles and told him to sit.

"Yes, ma'am." He mock- saluted as I giggled at his playful side, I was the best when it came down to

changing his mood, he was intimidating in front of his pack but in front of me, he was true and soft

at heart.

I massaged his back as he laid down in the hot water filled the tub, he groaned as he closed his eyes

at my skillful fingers, he was in his shorts and bare-chested. I kneaded the tight shoulder muscles

professionally as he groaned more at the relief, he turned around and grabbed my hips, dragging

me down the tub with him.

"You jerk!" I squealed as he removed my clothes and we both laid against each other inside the tub

with bubbles calming us.
