Just then, Mr. Lu stepped forward and blocked Mr. Xu’s sight.

He waved at Feng Wu. “Kiddo, come out here.”

Feng Wu rubbed her temples. Her mind had gone blank for a moment back there. She was much better now, but her head was still spinning a little.

She snorted. Why would she go out just because they told her to? That wasn’t very polite.

Just then, Wang Zhaole nudged Feng Wu a little and whispered, “Xiao Wu, Mr. Lu is talking to you.”

A common student like Wang Zhaole wouldn’t know what to do in the current situation.

The elders on the shore were some of the most capable masters. It was hard for anybody to imagine ever meeting them.

Wang Zhaole was surprised to see Feng Wu ignore Mr. Lu.

Most of the colonels were still in the pool, and they were all watching Feng Wu eagerly.

Mr. Lu looked at Feng Wu and sighed. “Come out now.”

Feng Wu snorted but eventually left the dome.

Mr. Lu told Chen Ziyun and his friends, who were hiding in a corner in astonishment, “You can go back to your living quarters now.”

However, Chen Ziyun looked at Feng Wu in concern.

Feng Wu waved at them.

Recalling that the crown prince was Feng Wu’s patron, Chen Ziyun nodded and left with the others.

Mr. Lu kept his cold gaze on Wang Zhaole, and the latter immediately felt suffocated.

“May we leave now?” Wang Zhaole stammered from fear.

Mr. Lu nodded.

Wang Zhaole glanced at Feng Wu, who nodded at him.

Wang Zhaole and the other colonels immediately dashed off.

When they returned to the colonels’ quarters, they all sat on the ground, and no one spoke a word.

Their foreheads were covered with sweat.

Yang Hong felt his back and found it covered with sweat.

“Holy crap! That was an eye-opener!” Yang Hong was amazed. “I never thought I would see so many elders in one day.”

The others all nodded.

It was one of the most miraculous days of their lives.

“I’ve never seen them quarrel that way. I thought they were different from us. They’re supposed to be beings on another level who eat no mortal food and show no emotions. Who could have known? They can argue and fight as well.”

Everybody nodded.

“I was too scared to breathe and almost fainted. I thought if I so much as breathed, Mr. Lu would look at me. That feeling was so scary.”

“Did you notice Feng Wu wasn’t afraid of the elders at all?”

“That’s right. Elder Dongfang obviously wanted to hit her, but she forced herself to stop.”

“That was amazing! Feng Wu was bold enough to talk back to Elder Dongfang!”

“That wasn’t all. Did you see that? When Mr. Lu told her to come out, she defied his order at first!”

The colonels fell silent when they recalled what Feng Wu had done.

How courageous!

“I wonder if Feng Wu can come out alive…”

“Feng Wu is a really nice person. Elder Mei told me she was the one who told him to fetch us.”

“The elders of the Military Academy desperately want that liquid, but we ended up absorbing all of it.”
