Everybody stared at Elder Wu.

Did he have the wrong idea about their levels?

Except for Feng Wu, all the other members were Level 9 Spiritual Lords.

Chen Ziyun was the captain, so he was better than the other eight and was a peak Level 9 Spiritual Lord. The other eight members were senior Spiritual Lords.

There wasn’t much difference between their cultivation levels.

Elder Wu looked at the others. “Do you also think Chen Ziyun is at a disadvantage?”

Everybody nodded.

Elder Wu turned to Feng Wu. “Your task is going to be five times theirs. Problem?”

Feng Wu shook her head. “Nope.”

Chen Ziyun couldn’t believe his ears. “Young lady, you can’t be so conceited! It’ll get you killed!”

Feng Wu said impatiently, “I can do it on my own.”

Chen Ziyun almost laughed. He couldn’t understand why she was so arrogant.

Elder Wu didn’t even ask Chen Ziyun’s opinion before he announced, “There are a lot of Spirit Stone Worms in this 10km-area.”

He pointed at the map. “They’re in these two spots.

“I’ve chased away the weaker ones with my energy. The weakest of the remaining ones are Level 8 Spiritual Lords, and the strongest ones are Spiritual Kings.”

He then turned to the other group. “Who’s the group leader?”

They all looked at Sun Yu.

Sun Yu was the second strongest member of the team.

Naturally, he became the group leader.

Elder Wu said, “Your group will kill 1,000 worms.”

He then told Feng Wu, “Your group will kill 5,000.”

Gosh...

Everybody sucked in their breaths.

5,000? That was impossible!

“At least 10% of them have to be Spiritual Kings,” said Elder Wu. “You have seven days.”

Spiritual Kings?

Although they could defeat Spiritual Kings when they fought as a team, it was still very difficult.

Elder Wu gestured. “Sun Yu, your team will go first.”

The eight people left, and Elder Wu turned to Feng Wu.

He said, “You alone must kill 4,000 worms.”

He walked away after that.

Feng Wu remained unaffected, and Chen Ziyun was dumbfounded.

He was too scared to speak.

He then asked Feng Wu, “Does Elder Wu hold a grudge against you?”

After some thought, he said, “He must be getting back at you for offending Elder Mei earlier.”
