Chapter 2759 - Team Members

Qiu Zeyu went to the stadium next door.

There were two stadiums, one which belonged to the varsity team and the other to the junior varsity team.

Feng Wu had won a place in the junior varsity team, but she needed recognition from the varsity team.

“What if Chen Ziyun won’t take me?” Feng Wu asked Chu Qu.

Chu Qu looked around to make sure that Qiu Zeyu wasn’t nearby. He then leaned in closer and whispered, “If neither Captain Chen nor Captain Qiu will take you, you’ll be sent back.”

Feng Wu nodded.

Chu Qu reminded Feng Wu, “Captain Chen is all about formalities. When you meet him, you can’t address him by his name. You need to call him ‘Captain Chen,’ alright?”

Chu Qu was a kind person, and he found Feng Wu adorable. Although Qiu Zeyu had made it clear that he didn’t like Feng Wu, Chu Qu was still friendly toward her.

Feng Wu glanced at him. “Are you sure Qiu Zeyu won’t blame you for telling me that?”

Chu Qu looked at her. “Do you want to hear the truth?”

Feng Wu said, “Do tell.”

Chu Qu said, “We didn’t agree when Qiu Zeyu wanted to reserve that place for Shan Jingfei. He was abusing his power. However, Shan Jingfei is almost capable enough to win that place, so we didn’t object.

“As for you… I don’t know how you got here, but Qiu Zeyu doesn’t like you, and Captain Chen will only play by the book. I don’t think you’ll be with us for much longer.

“In that case, it won’t hurt anybody if I just show you around.”

Feng Wu looked at him.

What they said was true. The War Academy only had elite students. Chu Qu wasn’t as naive as he appeared to be.

The friendly boy next door was only a disguise he was wearing.

Feng Wu smiled. “I didn’t think much of the seeded team. I think I may change my opinion now.”

Chu Qu and his teammates looked at one another in amazement.

What an arrogant girl!

They thought she might not be good enough for this team. As it turned out, she didn’t think they were good enough for her either.

Had they missed something?

Chu Qu had looked through Feng Wu’s file to ensure that she really was a new student.

She didn’t sound like someone who had only joined the school less than six months ago.

Chu Qu was speechless.

So were his teammates.

Pretty girls nowadays could be so proud.

They had liked Feng Wu at first, but her “arrogance” made them change their opinion, and they were hoping to see what Captain Chen would do to her.

Unfortunately, they didn’t know that Feng Wu was capable enough to make such a claim.

Qiu Zeyu arrived at the varsity team before Feng Wu did.

“Zeyu, what’s wrong? You look so angry.”

The varsity team had five members, and the speaker was Wang Xiao, who was the closest to Qiu Zeyu out of the five.

Qiu Zeyu sat down angrily and smacked the table. “This is ridiculous!”

“So, someone has offended you. Was it your lovely fiancee?” Wang Xiao teased him.

The mention of Shan Jingfei made Qiu Zeyu even more furious.
