Chapter 2746 - Not Fair

Everyone looked at Elder Mei.

Elder Mei was frowning.

Mr. Duan asked, “How long will it take to open this door?”

Elder Mei shook his head. “The formation is very complicated; it’ll take me at least seven days!”

Seven days?

Before he could say another word, he sensed a force inside the mine.

Crack!

The heavy bronze door rumbled.

Everyone jumped.

What the hell?

They looked at one another, and all of them moved away from the door.

“Elder Mei, what’s going on?” Mr. Yang asked.

Elder Mei was as confused as everyone else.

Seeing the look on Elder Mei’s face, Zuo Qingluan tried to save him from the awkward situation. “The Secret Essence Mine has been buried underground for so long; anything could have happened. I’m sure Elder Mei will figure it out soon.”

Hearing the crack, Mr. Yang was struck by an idea. “Can it be opened from inside?”

Elder Mei rolled his eyes.

Zuo Qingluan answered for him. “The door is locked from outside by the formation! How can it be opened from inside?!”

Elder Mei nodded. She was right. It couldn’t be opened from the inside.

Seeing this, Zuo Qingluan knew Elder Mei agreed with her, so she scolded Mr. Yang again. “Mr. Yang, please don’t speculate when you don’t know what’s going on. You’ll make the others panic.”

Mr. Yang was speechless.

But right at that moment!

Crack!

The sealed heavy door…

The door that Zuo Qingluan was so sure couldn’t be opened from the inside…

It slowly opened as everyone watched.

Everybody was astonished.

They all looked at Zuo Qingluan.

Zuo Qingluan was utterly embarrassed.

The sound of the door opening felt like a slap to her face.

It seemed to take forever for the door to open.

Zuo Qingluan had to live with the humiliation the entire time.

“Why is it open?” She was ready for battle. “Are the Spirit Stone Worms coming out?”

The tutors were all alarmed.

“Everybody, get ready for battle!” Zuo Qingluan shouted.

They all copied Zuo Qingluan and got into position to defend against the incoming enemy.

However, they only saw teenage students file out the door.

Feng Wu led the way, followed by Shao Xiao, Huo Shan and the others.

The last person’s head was covered with black cloth, and the person was tied up with layers of rope.

Everybody outside was shocked.

“Feng Wu?!” Mr. Yang was the first to recognize her.

He ran to her side and grabbed her hand. “You’re alive! I can’t believe it!”

When he looked past her, he was so excited that he almost couldn’t form a coherent sentence. “You’re all still alive…”

He was almost in tears.

Zuo Qingluan’s pupils contracted when she saw Feng Wu.

Feng Wu was still alive!

How could that be?

Why didn’t she die inside? Why was she still alive?!

This wasn’t fair!
