“Indeed. I didn't expect Corentin to be so disrespectful to the Hilton family! Even his father Cory

held some respect for us!” Beth growled.

Aunt Cher turned her eyes and said, “I heard from little missy that their relationship was too messy?”

“You know about this?” Beth was surprised.

“Little missy was in a bad mood that night, so she complained to me. That woman is pregnant. It

was a good decision to get rid of the child, wasn't it? Poor little missy!”

Aunt Cher was the servant who took care of Meredith's mother, so she was very trustworthy.

Aunt Cher knew she liked Corentin. “Are you worried about him?”

think Corentin would do such a thing.” Meredith was angry because someone asked her about the

matter, and her answer seemed to imply that Corentin abandoned her. “Where's Auntie?”

“In the study, she seems to be on the phone with Mr. Lloyd, discussing this matter.” Aunt Cher said.

“My auntie always does what is best for me,” Meredith said.

A look of disappointment flashed in Aunt Cher's eyes, and she said immediately, “Is that woman

named Ashlynn so good at her tricks? She caused so much trouble for both the families.”

“She's not so great. She lost her child because of auntie.” Meredith sneered. “Is it worth canceling

the marriage between the two families just for the sake of Ashlynn’s child? Corentin must have been

bewitched by Ashlynn!”

"Since Young Master Lloyd wants a child, you can give him one. You will have one with him

someday. Are you going to go meet Young Master Lloyd?” Aunt Cher advised.

“That... let's talk about it later!” Meredith still felt fear when she recalled what had happened that

night.

Corentin was such a pervert.

She could not bear the thought that her marriage was canceled though.

“I'm going to go see auntie.”

She wanted to discuss with her auntie how to deal with this matter.

Ashlynn had stayed at the mansion all day and did not have any fun.

ask Corentin about it.
