Both Chi Xiaoman and Qiao Ning were not into trendy social interactive games. They both loved outdoor sports since childhood and enjoyed travelling all over the place.

During the summer vacation, Qiao Ning got tanned from learning how to drive. After obtaining his driver’s license, he eagerly asked Chi Xiaoman to go on a trip. However, at that time, Chi Xiaoman was going through a dramatic period in her relationship with He Xuanmei. She almost made Qiao Ning depressed, let alone sharing her joy.

Reminiscing about the past, Chi Xiaoman felt guilty and handed the cookie she was eating to Qiao Ning, saying, “Are you tired? Why don’t I drive?”

Qiao Ning shook his head sincerely and hesitated before replying, “No, I don’t want you to get caught for driving without a license.”

Chi Xiaoman: “…”

She was in the wrong. She should not have had even a bit of sympathy for this rascal.

Two hours later, as the sky darkened, Chi Xiaoman’s generosity disappeared without a trace.

“Why is it so congested?” Chi Xiaoman exclaimed in despair, holding her head. “I don’t want to waste my precious vacation on the road…”

This dense traffic noise was the most terrifying thing for Chi Xiaoman.

Qiao Ning’s expression was not good either, and he sighed helplessly, “I specifically chose a relatively unpopular camping spot…”

“Do you want to travel abroad?” Qiao Ning looked at Chi Xiaoman with a sad expression. “We agreed last year to go on a free trip to Northern Europe after the college entrance exam, and we even made plans for it…”

She pursed her lips and puffed her cheeks, complaining angrily as she squeezed a toy figurine in the car, “This is too congested. It’s already getting dark. We can’t spend the night on the highway!”

“How about we compromise and change the destination for now?” Qiao Ning took out his phone and searched for nearby attractions. “Let’s exit the highway at the next intersection.”

Chi Xiaoman agreed with both hands and feet. Their hometown was a heavily-polluted urban area, and their university was an even bigger polluted urban area. They came out to see blue skies and breathe fresh air. It didn’t matter where they went.

The two quickly decided on a nearby place, close to the mountains and facing a lake.

Upon arrival, the scenery was beautiful with lush grass and clear water, and there weren’t too many people there. Chi Xiaoman felt refreshed just by looking at it from afar. She pointed at the mountain and said, “Not bad, should we climb it?”

The mountaintop looked relatively flat, with faint shimmering lights. It seemed that many people had already climbed up.

“Of course, let’s go up,” Qiao Ning opened the trunk and easily lifted the backpack onto his shoulders. With one hand, he continued searching for something in the trunk.

He was carrying the large backpack effortlessly, showcasing the beautiful muscle lines on his arm. Chi Xiaoman stood beside him, unable to resist her gaze falling on his arms.

After a few seconds of silence, Chi Xiaoman suddenly asked, “Did you secretly work out behind my back?”
