Chapter 33 - Always you
Hurricane
Rose's POV
I was pacing back and forth in my room nervously. Thinking about what would happen if we told everyone about Alec was going to make me crazy. It would be a disaster. I was so sure. On the other hand, I felt guilty because of Kate.
I sighed, desperate and grabbed my phone. I called Troy, ruffling my hair nervously.
"Hi. How are you and Alec?" Troy asked happily as he picked up his phone.
"Hi. Fine. And you?" I asked softly.
"Better after hearing your voice." He replied warmly.
I smiled sadly and ruffled my hair, sighing. "Kate... she..." I mumbled guiltily.
"It is the best decision for all of us." Troy stated firmly, interrupting me. "I can't continue it while being in love with another woman. Especially now. Finding you after all these years again is a miracle for me." He added honestly.
I pursed my lips together as my eyes welled up. "There will not be anything between us." I reminded, trying to control my voice while my heart ached.
"We will be together again, Rose. I swear I will make you mine again. But this time I will not let you go." He stated in confidence.
I bit my lower lip without anything and hung up my phone, heaving a sigh.
Troy's POV
When my meeting was changed at the last minute, I decided to visit my mother in her fashion house as the meeting place was close to there. On the other hand, I wanted to see her because the last time I had seen her, she was angry at me because I didn't tell her about the breakup. Kate called her crying and told her that I broke up with her.
My mother was offended because I didn't say anything to her. On the other hand, she didn't understand why I broke up with Kate suddenly. However, she calmed down slightly after my father had intervened.
As I didn't see my mother's secretary, I knocked on the door and walked in when I heard my mother's voice.
Happiness filled my heart as I saw Rose in my mother's office. She looked at me, surprised.
"Troy, what a beautiful surprise!" My mother exclaimed happily as she stood up.
"Hi. I was close to here; so I decided to visit you." I informed as I gave her a kiss on her cheek.
"I am happy to see you." My mother gave me a bright smile.
"Rose. Nice to see you here." I stated as I smiled at her happily and greeted her with a peck on her cheek.
"Hi." She mumbled shyly.
"Do I disturb you two?" I asked, placing my hand into my pocket.
"No, we have finished our meeting. We were just chatting. Join us." My mother suggested. "Coffee?"
I nodded as I sat down on a vacant chair opposite of Rose.
After her secretary had brought a cup of coffee for me, she left.
Suddenly, my mother's phone rang. She excused herself and left the office, picking up her phone.
"You look gorgeous." I commented, looking at Rose as I took a sip from my coffee.
"Thanks." She said, blushing as she grabbed her illustrations and stood up.
"May I look at them?" I asked as I pointed to her sketches with a head gesture.
"Umm... Sure." She nodded as she extended them towards me.
I grabbed them, brushing my fingers against her hand as I stood up and gave her a bright grin. She bit her lower lip while her cheeks flushed.
"Wow! They are really beautiful." I commented honestly as I looked at the illustrations.
"Thanks." She beamed at me warmly. "I have to go." She added as she grabbed the illustrations and placed them between her files quickly.
I grabbed her arm, stopping her as she wanted to take her bag. She gave me a questioning look. Without waiting for a second, I brushed my lips against her inviting red lips, cupping her cheek. It had been in my mind since I saw her here.
I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer to me while kissing her feverishly.
After resisting for a few seconds, finally, she responded to my kiss. I pressed her against my body which was craving for her and plunged my tongue inside her mouth, deepening the kiss.
"What the hell?!" We instantly pulled back as we heard my father's voice.
I gulped nervously while my father shot daggers at me. He looked frustrated. Meanwhile, Rose was staring at him, embarrassed, her cheeks crimson red.
"Aspen?" My mother asked in surprise as she approached my father from behind.
"My sunshine." He placed a chaste kiss on my mother's lips as he averted his gaze from us.
Rose gave me a nervous look. I shrugged my shoulders and rubbed the back of my neck.
"I came to invite you to have lunch with me." My father informed my mother and gave me a stern look as he wrapped his arm around my mother's shoulder.

I was working in my office when the door opened and my father walked in; he looked angry. He closed the door loudly and approached me, placing his hand into his pocket.
"I should admit I never expected it from you. If it was Liam, I wouldn't be shocked this much, but you...." He heaved a sigh and shook his head in disbelief.
I pursed my lips together without saying anything as I entwined my hands on the desk.
"Why did you do it? Did you break up with Kate because you have an affair with her sister?" He asked, giving me a disapproving look.
"No, I didn't break up with Kate because of it. I don't have romantic feelings for her. I knew it from the beginning; I thought maybe, we could be happy together, but I was wrong. And Rose and I don't have an affair." I replied honestly.
"Really?! But from what I have seen, it didn't seem like there was anything between you two." My father commented sarcastically. "How can you break up with your fiancée for a girl you have known for a few weeks?!" He shook his head in disapproval.
I bit my lower lip as I stood up, rubbing my neck. "I haven't met Rose recently." I confessed. My father gave me a questioning look. "I met her when I visited Romeo in London. We... We dated."
My father's eyes widened in shock. "You and Rose..." He ran his hand through his hair. "So the reason for your change was because of Rose... You haven't looked yourself since you returned from London."
"Umm...." I nodded and explained after suggesting that he sat down.
"Oh my goodness!" My father exclaimed as I finished explaining. "What are you going to do now? As much as I know you, you still have feelings for Rose. Am I right?"
"Yes, I never stopped loving her." I admitted honestly. "I will not give up on her. Especially now, after finding her again."
"And Rose? Does she have feelings for you? Maybe, she forgot you. I don't want to upset you, but she was angry at you because she thought you lied to her. So maybe, she moved on. Alec is the visible proof of it." My father stated, giving me a compassionate look.
"I know she still loves me too. But she resists because of her sister, but I will do everything to convince her. I will not give up on her. I love her so much. And Alec... He is my son." I confessed, looking into his eyes.
"What?" He mumbled as his eyes widened in shock.
"Alec is my son. Rose was pregnant when she ran away from me." I said as sadness crossed my features. "I lost four years of my son's life. And after I have found out about his existence, I will never give up on them. They are my family. I will do everything to protect them and make them happy." I stated, determined.
My father gave me a tender look. "So I am a grandfather. Huh?" He commented softly.
"Yes." I gave him a warm smile.
He smiled as he stood up and walked towards me. I stood up as he approached me. He hugged me and tapped my back after giving me a bright smile. I hugged him back in relief.
I knew my parents would understand me and be by my side. They always were the most caring, understanding, affectionate parents in the world. My siblings and I were so lucky to have parents like them.
