Chapter 22 - Always you

Hurricane

Troy's POV

I gave him a half smile and stated. "It wasn't your fault. Just a bad coincidence or fate!" I shook my head, sighing. "However, we are even now." I winked at him, giving him a sad smile.

"Asshole!" He gave me an annoyed look. "Where did you find her?" He asked curiously as  he crossed his legs.

I sighed and replied. "In the Allen mansion. She is Kate's sister. She lied to me about herself when we met in London."

"What?! Holy shit! So you fucked your fiancée's sister." He teased, giving me a mocking smirk.

"Romeo!" I warned him.

He burst out laughing. "Fine! Fine! So did she drop the bomb? Are you single now?" He asked sarcastically and smirked.

"No!" I rolled my eyes.

"Oh, you are already back with your ex then. You are fast." He teased me.

"Romeo, will you be serious for a second?" I snapped, annoyed.

"Fine, boring as always." He scowled, frowning.

"No, she didn't say anything." I informed and heaved a loud sigh.

"I understand why you are so attracted to Alec because you love his mother." He mocked, giving me a teasing grin.

"It is another problem." I confessed, sighing, and ruffled my hair.

"What?" He gave me a questioning look.

"I have suspicions that he is...my son." I confessed and heaved a deep sigh.

"What?" His eyes widened in shock. "Holy shit! Are you sure?" He asked seriously as he leaned towards me.

"No, but there is so much proof that he probably..." I shook my head without finishing my sentence, breathing deeply.

"Because of it, he looks like a mini you." He commented and burst out laughing. "You are in deep shit, bro. You made my lovely father-in-law a grandpa before me. He shouldn't guard my dick, but yours. He protected the wrong child." He teased me, laughing.

"Romeo!" I warned, giving him a death glare.

"What? Because of him and my dad, I didn't see my girl, but instead of Sienna, he should keep an eye on you or most correctly, your dick." He laughed, shaking his head, and clapped his hands in amusement.

"You are hopeless, but I am an idiot because I try to talk to you about serious matters." I stated bitterly.

"Fine! Fine! Don't get angry, baby daddy." He said, trying to stop laughing. I gave him a murderous look. He cleared his throat, raising his hands in surrender as he stopped laughing and asked in curiosity. "What are you going to do now? Did you talk to Rose about Alec? What did she tell?"

"No. I tried to talk, but we argued instead of talking." I frowned.

"How do you feel? You finally found her. Kate's sister or not, she is here now." Romeo asked, giving me a serious look.

I breathed deeply, looking away. I bit my lower lip and entwined my hands tightly.

"Before I just wanted to find her because I wanted her to tell me why she left me, but now after seeing her..." I confessed sadly and paused, sighing. "I understood how much I missed her, and... I still love her." I admitted honestly. "I thought she was just a scar in my heart, but this love is still bleeding my heart." I added gloomily and forced a smile. Romeo gave me a sympathetic look. "But my main problem now is the answer I need to get." I confessed firmly.

"Oh shit! If Steven finds out, you are dead!" He commented, giving me a sarcastic smirk.

I bit my lower lip and sighed. Yes, Romeo was right about it. If Steven found out about it, I didn't want to imagine what would happen.

"He will cut your little friend into tiny pieces and feed his dogs with it. At least, you are already a daddy." He joked, smirking.

I rolled my eyes, sighing in annoyance. "I have to talk to Rose, but I spend my time with you instead. You are useless." I snapped in frustration and stood up, grabbing my phone and keys.

"Good luck, dude!" Romeo chuckled while I walked towards the door. I ignored him and rolled my eyes, leaving the office.

Rose's POV

"Ms. Allen, you have a visitor." My assistant informed me as I was checking the new sketches with the designers in the workshop.

"Who?" I asked curiously as I straightened.

"Troy Anderson." She replied politely.

I sighed, ruffling my hair, and cursed under my breath, closing my eyes.

"Fine, fetch him to my office. I am coming." I stated firmly. She nodded and left.

After giving my instructions to my team, I went to my office. I took a deep breath and opened the door.

"Hi." He gave a boyish smile as he turned towards me, his hand in his pocket.

"What do you want? Wasn't I clear when I told you to stay away from me?" I asked dryly as I folded my arms over my chest.

He sighed as he approached me without taking his eyes off me. I took a step back reflectively.

"We haven't finished talking. You know it very well." He said firmly as he stood so close to me.

I gulped nervously, averting my gaze, and bit my lower lip as I felt uncomfortable because of the closeness between us. With every breath, my nostrils filled his musky scent, reminding me of the time I spent in his arms. I cleared my throat and took a step back, ruffling my hair.

"There is nothing to talk about. I don't want to hear more lies." I commented bitterly.

He gave me a mocking grin and gritted his teeth. "If you want to talk about lies, let me remind you that it wasn't just me who lied." He stated coldly.

"What?! Will you now say that we are even or what?!" I snapped in annoyance. I breathed deeply, trying to calm down, and continued firmly. "You fooled me. You dated me while you had a girlfriend."

"Rose!" He snarled and exhaled loudly, closing his eyes. When he opened his eyes, his gaze softened. "I am sorry for lying, but you lied to me too; you can't deny it. And I didn't have a girlfriend when we were together. I broke up with her a long time ago before I met you." He said, looking into my eyes.

I burst out laughing, shaking my head in disbelief. "Don't lie to me! I saw the messages." I snapped, trying to hide sadness in my voice. My heart tightened as I remembered that awful day. I sighed as I ruffled my hair, averting my gaze, and mumbled. "It isn't important anymore."

"Don't try to convince yourself. Just accept you left me because you didn't trust our love nor me. You ran away like a coward without facing me." He snapped angrily.

"How dare you!" I pushed him back furiously.

He grabbed my wrist and looked at my yin-yang tattoo as sadness crossed his features. He ran his fingertip over the tattoo, looking at it sadly.

"You also loved me. I will not believe it if you deny it." He muttered gloomily without taking his eyes off the tattoo. I bit my lower lip as my eyes welled up. "I cannot forget you, Rose. As much as I wanted to move on from you, you always were in my mind. You got under my skin. I never loved anyone like I love you; it will not change whatever happens, Rose. My heart is always yours. Even after you have left me, there is only you in my heart and mind." He confessed, looking into my eyes, full of sadness in his blue orbs as tears shimmered in his eyes.

I shook my head and pulled my arm away, pursing my lips together.

Don't believe him! Don't believe him! He is lying. I repeated these sentences, trying to pull myself together.

"Do you think I will believe your lies again? You didn't refrain from declaring your so-called love to me when you had a girlfriend in the past. You do the same thing now while being engaged to no one else but my sister. Don't you have any shame?!" I stated firmly, trying to control my voice as I wrapped my arms around myself tightly.

"Rose, I didn't have any girlfriend when we were together. My love for you was the most sincere thing in this world." He begged, looking into my eyes. "You cannot question it! And now I know our situation is so complicated; I got engaged because I tried to move on. I lost my hope again and again every time I thought I found you and then I understood it wasn't you. I couldn't find you anywhere as much as I tried. I thought maybe this relationship would help me to forget you, but I was wrong."

He breathed deeply, shaking his head.

"Deep inside my heart, I knew it from the beginning, but I didn't have any hope to find you again. So I went with the flow. I didn't think I could find anyone who would make my heart flutter like you again. So this engagement is like some kind of business contract for me." He confessed sadly without taking his eyes off me.
