Chapter 20 - More lies
Hurricane
Troy's POV
"No, your friend behaves well. Just sometimes, he becomes overprotective over me." She grinned, rubbing her bump.
"I will see him when his daughter starts dating." I commented and smirked arrogantly.
"Oh my goodness! He will torture my girl's every boyfriend." She agreed, rolling her eyes playfully. "By the way, today I saw Camila and Alec at the mall. He looks like you more every passing day. He looked so cute while eating cotton candy. You should have seen his face." Sienna said in amusement.
My expression changed instantly. I entwined my hands tightly, lost in my thoughts.
"Troy...Are you okay?" Sienna asked, interrupting my thoughts.
"Umm... Yeah." I mumbled, running my hand through my hair.
Suddenly, her phone buzzed. She grabbed it and looked at the screen, smiling.
"Romeo is waiting for me." She informed me as she tapped something on her phone and placed it into her bag. "See you later." She gave me a bright smile as she stood up.
"Take care of yourself and my niece." I said, giving her a tender smile.

I was waiting for Rose in my car a little away from their mansion gate. I was tapping my finger onto the steering wheel impatiently without taking my eyes off the gate.
As I saw Rose walking out of the gate alone, I got out of the car and rushed towards her. I grabbed her arm, stopping her from getting into the car.
"Hec.... Troy?" She looked at me in surprise. She cleared her throat and snapped. "What the hell? Let go of me!"
"No. You are coming with me." I stated firmly, looking into her eyes.
"Ms. Allen, is everything alright?" Her driver asked, intervening.
"Yes, Mark. Please wait for me in the car. " She replied without taking her eyes off me, looking furious. The man nodded and got in the car. She sighed, pulling her arm away, and folded her arms over her chest. "I will not come anywhere with you." She refused, giving me a disgusting look.
"No, you will. We have to talk." I said, determined. "Tell your driver to leave because you are coming with me willingly or forcefully." I added, looking into her eyes without managing to control my anger.
"How dare you threaten me!" She snapped, shooting daggers at me.
"Well. I don't threaten you, let's say I just predict the future." I gave her a cocky look. "I will not leave without you."
She frowned and leaned towards the window. "You may leave, Mark." Then she turned towards me and said bitterly. "Let's go. I don't have so much time to spend with you."
I clenched my fist, looking behind her while she was walking towards my car without waiting for me. I breathed deeply and went after her.
I parked my car in front of the company and got out of the car. It was better to talk in my office than outside. When I wanted to rush towards her side to open the door, she got out of the car without waiting for me.
"Why are we here?" She asked dryly, folding her arms over her chest.
"It is better if we talk in my office." I replied, looking in her beautiful eyes.
"Of course. Otherwise, what will you say if someone sees us together?!" She mocked and walked towards the building without letting me say anything.
I frowned, placing my hands on my hips, and followed her as I shook my head in annoyance.
As soon as I closed the door behind me, I explained. "I didn't bring you here because I don't want anyone to see us. We are here because no one will disturb us while we are talking."
"Whatever! Tell me what you want. I don't have much time." She stated bitterly.
I breathed deeply, running my hand through my hair, trying to calm down, and approached her.
"You will tell me, not me. You will explain why you left me like an idiot alone in that suite." I said firmly, looking into her eyes.
"I will not explain anything to you. Leave me alone!" She snapped.
"No!" I grabbed her arm as my jaw tightened. "Why did you run away? Why? Tell me. Why did you play with my feelings?" I snapped, frustrated as I couldn't manage to hold my anger anymore.
"Me? It was you who played with my feelings. Now leave me alone!" She snarled, pulling her arm away. "I don't want to see your face nor hear your voice. I hate you!" She added, full of anger in her voice.
I looked at her, taken aback. I hate you. I cleared my throat, ruffling my hair, and took a step towards her.
"Why? What did I do to you other than falling in love with you?" I snapped furiously.
"Falling in love with me?" She mocked, folding her arms over her chest. "Do you think I am still that naive?! I know everything. So don't lie to me anymore!" She added bitterly.
"What the hell are you talking about? I didn't lie to you." I stated, desperate and gripped my hair angrily.
She gave a sarcastic smirk. "Really?! You lied to me! And not just to me. You also lied to your girlfriend who was waiting for you in New York impatiently. I saw your messages." She shouted, clenching her fist.
"What?" I asked, puzzled.
She frowned in annoyance. "Don't play a dumb! You lied to me all that time. You even lied about your name, Troy." She stated furiously, emphasizing the word 'Troy'. "Did you have fun? Hector, Paris. How creative!" She mocked and gritted her teeth, looking at me.
"It wasn't my idea. I tried to stop my friend, but..."
She laughed sarcastically, interrupting me. "Don't make excuses. You could tell me after we started dating if you wanted. You are such a liar!" She snapped.
"Hey, stop there!" I exclaimed, frustrated and breathed deeply before continuing. "It wasn't just me who lied. You lied about your family, where you stayed. You told me you were not rich, you studied in London, but all these were lies. But now you accuse me of lying?!" I snarled bitterly and gave her a sardonic look. "Moreover, you left me without saying anything like an idiot. I searched for you, worrying about you that something happened to you. I had even hired a private detective." I added angrily and kicked the chair in frustration.
"Is it the problem that I left you before you dumped me? Did it bruise your ego? Poor boy!" She mocked, looking at me, full of anger in her eyes.
"Rose!" I warned her, clenching my fist as I approached her and grabbed her arm, pulling her closer to me.
"Don't touch me, you bastard!" She snapped, trying to pull her arm back, but I tightened my grip around her arm, pulling her towards me roughly.
"What is going on? Your voices are heard outside." Suddenly, the door opened and Sienna asked, shocked while Romeo was staring at Rose, confused.
Rose gritted her teeth, giving me a dirty look, and pulled her arm away angrily. I breathed deeply, running my hand through my hair while closing my eyes.
"Nothing." I mumbled as I took a step backwards from Rose. Meanwhile, Rose was staring at Romeo furiously.
"Oh, Paris is here too. Look, Hector!" Rose commented sarcastically, looking at Romeo, and gave me a mocking look as she turned her gaze from him to me.
"What is going on? Why is she calling you Paris?" Sienna snapped at Romeo angrily.
"Love, as you can guess, it isn't about me. There is nothing to get jealous of." Romeo replied hurriedly and pointed to me with his head.
"Oh sorry. I think you lied about yourself too." Rose added sarcastically, looking at Romeo, and shook her head in disapproval after giving me a death glare.
Romeo grinned. "Umm...I am Romeo."
Rose rolled her eyes and commented mockingly. "Don't you think we don't need another lie anymore?"
"He doesn't lie. It is his real name." I intervened and sighed, placing my hand into my pocket.
"Oh really?! If you confirm, then I should totally believe it." Rose mocked bitterly, giving me a dirty look. She sighed and shook her head, closing her eyes. "I am leaving. Hope not to see you again. But unfortunately, I am not that lucky." She added bitterly and stormed out.
"Who will explain?" Sienna asked, folding her arms over her chest, and traveled her gaze from Romeo to me.
"Of course, Troy will explain. I am the innocent one in this situation. It is his story, nothing to do with me." Romeo stated, raising his arms in surrender. I gave him a dirty look and shook my head, sighing.
