Vihan's POV

I searched his picture on social media and found him immediately. We had a lot of common friends... Mostly girls.

I went through them, and in no time, I had a fair idea of what kind of a man he was.

I called one of the girls who has been hinting at me to take her out someday, but she was a bit clingy... I never liked her much, but I needed to talk to her now.

I called her and asked her about him. She told me everything about him, she had been on a few dates with him, but she felt that he had anger issues. He was not too bad a person but he was not good for Roohi.

My dad asked me to come and I went to his cabin. He showed me a report and asked me my opinion on it. I read it carefully and told him my diagnosis. He smiled and nodded.

" Brilliant!! Though I don't like the way you flirt around girls; I am happy that you are a very good cardiologist. There were a few very fine things in that report that could have been overlooked by anyone. But you kept them in mind and your diagnosis was absolutely correct. I am proud of you." Dad said, getting up from his chair and patting my shoulders first, then hugging me.

" Thank you, Dad! Making you feel proud of me as a good doctor, has been my dream. You have always been my inspiration. "

" And what about me??" I heard my mom's voice and turned to see her standing there at the door of Dad's cabin.

" You are my first love ever, Mom," I said; my mom's smile widened, but the very next moment, I winced when my dad pulled my ear.

"Ouch!! What?"

" She is my love... Not yours, she is your Mom. I know you are very charming but I will not allow you to flirt with my wife. Find a girl for yourself to get settled with... And keep flirting with her for the rest of your life."

" Oh, c'mon Dad, You are just jealous of me because she loves me more than she loves you," I said.

"Vikram!! Don't be harsh with my son. Leave his ear!" Mom said.

"Your son is a famous playboy, Sandhya. You must be strict with him." Dad said.

" Look who is talking ... Let me remind you, you have been spoiling him ever since you became his dad... I always told you to be within limits. But..."

"Yeah... but he needs to be serious now. Two of his friends are already married. Tell him to find a nice, decent girl and get settled now. Everyone at the wedding last night was asking me if we had been looking for a girl for him... It's high time we must start thinking about it now. "

Gautam uncle got both his daughters settled... And the same goes with Sagar uncle as Gauravi left Mihir at Altar to be with Shaurya...I mean Shlok.

But I had no intention of telling all this to my dad. Let him get to know that from his friends.

" Your dad is right, we also want to have a wedding in our family now." Mom said.

" Mom, you have two kids, Get Vidhya married first."

" No way, she is too young...to get married. You will get married first. As it is the way you are getting famous as a playboy, soon we will not be able to find anyone for you. Which father in his sane mind would allow his daughter to get married to a man who changes girlfriends like this? Select one and get serious about her. Or, I swear, I will slash your monthly allowance."

" Dad, I am working now... I earn well."

" Yeah... But the kind of lifestyle you are having is not possible with your earnings alone. You would not be able to afford the mansion and the expensive car collection you have. " Dad said.

" Leave it!! I packed a nice lunch for the most important man in my life. Let's enjoy it. " Mom said and got the food served.

After lunch, Dad and I went to do the surgery.

It was a complicated surgery and took longer than expected; by the time it was finished, it was late. I called Roohi to ask her to have dinner with me before going home. But she had already gone home and declined it saying that she was very tired. She had never done that either.

Things were changing and I was not comfortable with it.

One of the girls asked me to come and meet her at a new restaurant. I was going to accept it but I don't know why, I was not in a mood so I told her that I was very tired after a long surgery and went home.
