chapter 398 * Became his lifeline *

He coughed and vomited blood as he reached there; David collapsed;

he bumped into the counter corner before falling to the ground; no one

was there to help him. Even Aiden was out of the villa.

He was there for a long with no one's knowing; Aiden came back after

he vented his sadness so that he could smile in front of David, at least

in this way, he wouldn't have to show his genuine pain in front of David

if he could keep his smile, David would hang on there.

He went to the bedroom and knocked on the door, no one answer, at

first, he thought David didn't hear him, so he knocked on the door,

again and again, when he saw no one responded, he felt uneasy, David

was a light sleeper even he fell asleep, a noise around him would be

enough to wake him, so why he was not opening the door,

He tried to push, but the door was locked from inside. His heart was

stuck in his throat.

"Mac comes here," he screamed when his assistant came running

when Aiden’s assistant saw his master was kicking the door and trying

his best to open the door.

"What happened, master? His assistant asked in a worried tone.

"Go to my room; you will find a key in my bedside drawer," Aiden

ordered his assistant; it was David's bedroom extra key he kept with

him; David was the one who handed him that key.

His assistant ran to the second floor and soon came back with the key;

Aiden pushed open the door and entered, he first checked on Kate,

and for his heart relief, she was okay, still on the bed, but David was

nowhere to be found. So they checked every corner of the room.

Aiden saw the bathroom door was fully open, so he peeked inside, and

he saw David's unconscious body was lying on the floor; blood was all

over his neck and chest; if not for the situation, Aiden might already

faint from shock.

He ran to David, he and his assistant carried David out of the

bathroom, they put him on the bed beside Kate.

"What happened to Master Xiver? His assistant panicked. "don't tell

me." He didn't dare to complete his word because both knew what

happened to David; it was nothing new that David fainted while

vomiting blood.

He suffers from this pain at least once a week, and it is becoming

worse and worse; they couldn't even find what happened to him or how

they could do the treatment. Aiden's master said David is suffering from

heart pain, but his heart test diagnosis report came back normal. So he

has no problem with his heart or any part of his body.

That's what becomes the genuine pain in the ass. No matter how much

they try, they fail in this matter. David's issue is more complicated than

Kate's, Kate became like this because she was shot in her heart, but

David is bearing this pain with her without any wound in his heart.

Aiden looked at David and Kate's motionless, unconscious body; he

doesn't have any treatment for them; seriously, seeing them like this

only aggravates his mood;

David only vomits blood when overly affected by his emotions,

especially when they give the same result about her situation.

"Master, if Master Xiver keeps vomiting blood and keeps fainting like

this, he will be in grave danger. Can you please remind him if he keeps

doing this to himself, he will die before her" his assistant was always

there with them, he saw how much David suffered in these five months,

she was hurt, but he was in pain, she was lying in this bed, but he

caged himself inside this villa.

He became a different person; once a king now became his heart's

prisoner, and all of them could only see his suffering; they didn't have

any solution for his pain; they became senseless like him.

Aiden sighed "do you think I never tried, I did, but it seems he made up

his mind to ruin himself slowly; he is barely remaining here." Aiden

sighed. He became helpless. He tried every means; he thought he

could stop David's pain as long as these three babies were with them.

Still, he was a fool to believe that David would value his babies over

Kate; no one could replace her; she is irreparable in his life.

Aiden is sometimes forced to think about how a mare girl becomes so

precious in David's life. David was the stony heart between them, even

though he loved his family and friends and his sworn brothers, but he

always kept his emotions in control; he never liked to show his feelings.

David didn't even winch when someone sacrificed life for him. He kept

a stony face, yet a girl he had just married for less than one year

became his lifeline; how is this possible until he started seeing David's

action every day?

He treasures Kate even more than his babies, including himself; he

cared nothing in the world except her. So he closed himself inside this

villa; he never went out; it's been five months since he last went out.

His suffering every day is proof of how much he loves this little girl, who

is lying in a bed like a dead body, yet she is the real fighter; she kept

her baby safe and held it there with her all.

Both are crazy, not it would be worthless if he calls them a crazy couple

because they are beyond crazy.

"Stay here; I; he has to go somewhere" Aiden is about to leave.

"Master, are you not going to give him the painkiller? His assistant

asked confusedly.

"No use, it will only harm his body, as well. So why does he need a

painkiller since it doesn't work on him," Aiden sighed loudly and left the

room quitely.

Aiden took his car and left far away from the villa, and pressed the

button on his watch;
